it is kind of like English - the more you learn, the more oddities arise
Actually, the pe6 is a noun in French, as it is in English, although it does come from the verb "to think". It's basically equivalent to "thought" as a noun.
(I should add that it should have an accent on the second-last E.)
Actually, the "pensées" are pansies in English (see the resemblance?). Just thought I'd add "mes deux sous" (my two cents) : )
That is another translation of the French "pensée"
But I don't think it's used that way in English
