pretty good. He limits his beer drinking to once a week now, moves about more and started eating breakfast. I also have the impression the medication is doing something good. He seems less tired, and less winded after climbing the stairs.

understandably. i have to watch Don like a hawk. his memory is not good. he forgets stuff, like pain meds, times for appointments, even with phone alerts, he still forgets.
yeah, Rob is more forgetful nowadays too. Short term memory is sliding.
i've started putting his appointments into my calendar too. that way i get an alert as well. i've tried to not prompt him, hoping he will work it out, but he really is floundering.
sometimes the most loving thing we can do is be their memory.
i know sprite. but it breaks my he5 to see him like this. he still has a formidable memory for stuff like historic facts , and of course anything to do with films... lol
yeah, but that is memory from longer ago. I believe that is not uncommon when growing older.

I have a long driveway that is gated. Packages are usually left inside the gate. Yesterday, an Amazon delivery guy called me from the gate to see if it was ok to come in! He delivered it right into my hands. I was impressed!
