Saturday, the Smithsonian Institution had a Longest Day Festival with the museums open until 23 and various events, had a lot of fun!

it really was! Though the Hirshhorn — the modern art museum — was VERY crowded. 35min line for the coffee bar.

the Austrian woman who designed it had 8 organ pipes wired as theremin, plus a point where each pipe played a cord, very cool.

There is a vaccine, for 9 to 16 year olds and peoyple living where the virus is known, so at least part of Florida. And it’s effective after diagnosis also. It’s a tetravalante attennuiated virus vaccine.

yes, i read about it at the CDC website. I thought strange also, but unless i’m travelling, i’m not eligible.
the vaccine is administered as a cure, so yes a cure, if with the vaccine.

I am up to date on vaccines; recently got Hep A and B vaccines. The B injection was sore for days. Large dose that vaccine.

at age 23 i had to get a new MMR vaccine, as i was originally vaccinated with a faulty vaccine

when we moved here we were in and out of the DMV in one hour with new REAL ID's (actual permanent card, not a paper temp one) and new license plates and registrations (also permanent and not temporary)

we found an RMV a few towns over that works great here in MA, which is a treat
this was before they had stepped into a DMV
