Friday is not easy. no matter what i do or don't do i am always exhausted by late afternoon. i think because there is a lot of emotional stuff happening too, which doesn't help. trying to keep the group on a level is hard work particularly with some of the men.
yes that is taxing. And if you cannot avoid doing it, just make sure you have a day off after. Time to relax and recover.
i try to goal set each day. fortunately Don understands. he does pull me up, very gently. my only goal for Saturday is to fold and sort the clean laundry, and i do that sitting down.

well, I got some new grips for my clubs a few weeks ago and then discovered I really need to replace them all. and we lost a buttload of balls last night.
several of these were hit onto the fairway and then bounced to the side never to be seen again. there was a lot of that clumpy grass, so it was like easter egg hunting.
ahhh, a fit and replenish trip :) i like the oversized grips, helps with my stupidly arthritic hands
i picked up a set of clubs on the weekend at a garage sale - will leave them in arizona, so we don't have to shlep them back and forth every year
I might look at some wedges. my very old set of hybrid clubs that I play with only has a pitching wedge.

what i learned this past weekend is that you can have a great set of custom irons and they work as well as the garage sale clubs :D
