morning babblers
cooee and g'day from me. * hugs * dearest sprite. Hurshy sends a hello to you.
hello darling *hugs* and a hello back to hursh
how are you doing?
busy, busy day here. this weekend is my god-daughters engagement party. in lieu of a mum, she has me. lol. so packing a bag for the weekend, and most of my packing for admission on Monday. we won't be home until Sunday afternoon.
oh wow! She is lucky to have you
plus it being Wednesday, it's wash day, and clean the bathrooms day.
how are you doing day two post day out?
kind of okay. Sad though. I had to realise that a friend was never that... just a user.
just have to remake the bed, and i am done. tomorrow is warm water pool day, then Friday is the outreach morning tea, followed by gym. so looking forward to Monday.
busy week
oh darling. so sorry to see that. such a betrayal of trust isn't it?
very. I tell myself I did not lose a friend, just an illusion, but it still hurts
gentle hugs sweetheart. and peace for your sore heart.
thank you. It is Hilde, the one from zentangle. So that makes it doubly complicated, it is a small world.
awwww..... that is so hard to bear.
but Rob and Caya are very supportive and have confirmed for me that it is not me being dramatic. That does help.
love their work. and you are never dramatic. you have to be one of the most level-headed people i know.
and her husband sent me a lovely text saying he understood my decision and to thank me for all I have done for them.
thanks darling! THat is a lovely compliment!
oh wow ! i hope he can talk some sense into her. teach her how to treat friends well.
yeah, has to be a tough situation for him. He and I were good friends too. I wish we could stay close. But it is just not done, being close to someone's husband without being close to them as well.
i hear you. very distressing when one half of a couple is a friend, and the other you could cheerfully strangle.
lol, guess I am not the strangling type, I am not even that mad at her. Just so very disappointed. And a bit mad at myself for investing so much in a relationship that was not okay.
fireflies :)
WTG SPRITE !!
* hugs * darling. hope you can relax and recover a bit more today.
will work a shift for the helpline this morning. After that, time to relax. You take care in all the busy days, okay? Love and hugs!

just found a B city that is apparently a lowercase dance
yes, i tried that because I thought I had seen it before here...
thx hokie

i have one of the 9s....compound word....
what doth it start with?
to
well, found my one T to gray the first column
justs found the other 9....similar...same second word of the compound word....
po 9....
is the 2nd word 4 letters or 5?
the 9s are both plurals...
ty carla, don't know how that b 5/14 is considered a word
the b6? I don't recall talking about a 5/14
hiya
thanks, pen. found both of those.
hey hurshy
the second part of the compound words are both a pluralized five letter word....
so the second parts are both six letters....
phantom: potato
and the first parts are anagrams
yes, lol....
and can't say I've ever seen either before
any TS?
no definition for the to 8/9....
really clueless about 5 more SA words. are there SB?
i peeked...no TS words...
I feel safe saying no TS since I grayed that top T
the only sb word i know is Sbarro
LOL, that's what I was thinking of
oh, found a set on that S
still need 3 from there!

thanks for mentioning that ab6
phantom: saponify
i knew that...not....lol....

i don't remember if i encountered it just due to word games or what
need one more F to grey the left col
ooh....found an sa 7/8 combo because i had tome of those letters in my head....

there is a vowel inbetween those parts....
there's a wooden shoe that's not clog?
hurshy, my last F was a very regular 4 if that helps 🤣
yes...a french wooden shoe....
ok, I have that but had no idea what it was. looks french.
because it is... ;o)
after telling myself st5 was not the weight term because that would make too many letters, I finally got it, thanks
yw...
still need 1 S there
same here...
and 2 B's for top row
i have my Bs, thank goodness...don't like that letter...'
if you have the two weird bo 8 words, the rest seem kinda ordinary.....

Same first five + first three of Jewish Friday evening meal
Wait, that's wrong. Same first five + ___ the season to be jolly
rehi
there's not a particular name for the Friday evening meal that I can think of, except Friday evening meal
Oh, that was a stretch- it left a whole letter out and has a different meaning, but that was a good starting clue
it means "a foot defense of mail or of a number of lames with solid toe and heel pieces."
I have no idea what that could be but it was on Dictionalry .com
topsy
sorry- no good anyway.
namaste
ty for bo8
I'm glad you got them Peri. Not that much of a stretch after all.
wow those are weird tho
wth?! Patooty is not a word? I beg to differ!
Hi all, diving in, plonk
asbo is in the grid
which is what?
Anti-Social Behavior Order (some kind of British legal ruling restricting a person from certain behaviors, like drinking0
huh. is this new? does it only apply if someone who behaves badly when they drink? i know they never had like a Prohibition thing...
It really is akin to drunk and disorderly or harrassment
it's like a sentence imposed on a person that is lower on the scale than a crime but higher than a ticket; at least that's my understanding
int'resting
late start - cleaning up after the storm last night. We had a few limbs down and the fence is wobbly, but not too bad. Power off for a while. Others in the Seattle area had it much worse.
glad to hear you're okay

Glad you were mostly unscathed ch1212

We live in small town (around 7000), and this morning on the facebook community page, there were so many offers of help for anyone in need -- coffee runs, yard cleanup, blankets, food, etc. I love my community.

Ah yes. ch is right
6??? 6!!!! okay, still hunting
not a regular word if that's helpful
Happy to clue if you need.
OY, monkeyed it at last, and you're right, not a word in my head
perhaps if you were more warlike Gwen :)
My arthritic fingers are not happy about the raking I did today, nor the babbling I'm doing now. Short day for me. Be back tomorrow. :)
i know lots of medieval heraldry terms like pheon and lymphad but ab6 is not among those words LOL
