yeah, that is not the panic. The panic is trauma related. So rather ephemeral. One thing I have learned in living with cptsd: logic does not help at all in battling panic.
each of my grandkids gets a free trip with me after age 13. this is the one two of the grandsons chose. so we are in kyoto. we did tokyo and have a nother week.
more than a week left. we do 14 days.

one of the 21 year olds is too busy so far to have chosen. another one has a business and wants to devote his time to that while it is going good. another three have yet to choose. my husband traveled a lot for 47 years of work and so prefers to not join us. but he is welcome. but he has been to japan more than 5 times.
i am blessed that i can afford this.
yeah, I will, lol. I have learned that acknowledging the panic helps. Just telling myself: yes darling, this is panic. It is old, it is not needed, but it does feel real and current, so you have to be very very kind to yourself.
now i can walk miles. but the time is drawing near when i will need to take taxis.

hello all - we have sunshine today after weeks of summer rain - everything looks so green and clean
here, the trees are bare, and the high was 34F/2C
my little girl was about 4 weeks old when i found her alone in a gutter full of mud. dingo/doberman cross. she was so clever. walked on the leash when she was just 6 weeks old.
I'm watching a 12Tone video about Green Day's song Holiday. It is very interesting if one is into music theory and pop punk. It'll be on YouTube next week.
