so do I. But I truly wish he had some common sense. This could have been prevented. And I have no idea how to navigate this. I cannot take over and it looks like he will have to get new knees. I wanted to be in a home with no stairs by then. I mean, how is he to take a shower? Bathroom is upstairs.

no not yet. Doc is on the other side of the country. We don't have a local gp yet, since we do not live here officially.

I don't think those will suffice. I have sent Rob a link to a firm that has specialists to advice which ones to take.
he needs braces that he can put on and take off himself... he cannot even put on his own socks, so they have to open fully. Ugh.
there are some really good ones available on the net. some are like a sleeve with a firm circular part which surrounds the front of the knee. and there are some not a sleeve. Don has the first type which he says help him.
socks are easy solved. look for sock sleeves on the internet. the ones with the long tapes attached. i bought them for Don and he loves them.
Rob is stiff as a plank, he cannot even reach his feet, honey. No elasticity at all in his hips.
that's the point. you use it sitting down or standing. have a look at least.
he somehow has to get the sock sleeve over his feet, right? I have checked just now, did not see anything that might work for him. Do you have a link?

we are secretly subletting from Caya. She had to separate from her beloved for a while and rented a house here. Now she is back with Juno but officially she is still renting the house, so that we can stay here. Now that our tiny house is no longer viable, we need to find a permanent place. Preferably in the area where Caya and Juno will go in a year or two.

We found out Rob has a heart condition that will not allow him to do anything heavy. Building is very heavy work. So that dream died.

I don't get the rigidly systematic ways people play this game. I just look for words and type what I find.
everybody has their own approach....mine usually shifts as I play through a grid, especially a big grid...
mine's not rigid but i do find that if i go tile by tile, and sort of force myself to look harder to get as many as i can from a tile, then i end up finding more on my initial run
than i did when i used to just type whatever i find
i do usually go through the grid somewhat systematically, but I don't linger on difficult tiles...
