D 7/52: during the hours when it is light outside
S/7/40 impaled
O 7/40: left out

For the s/7/40, is there another clue besides impaled? 'Cause I am flummoxed.
Nevermind, I figured it out :)
y/6/39 - Hooray!
S6/33 - what this puzzle does to us.

The S7 - to do with an old-fashioned way of cooking meat
Atalante -- got it, thanks!
P6/27
P7/48
got a definition to go along with that one Atalante?
That P7/48 has me S6/33'd, too. Oh dear, I'm talking in Babble...

squinted and ran stats...cant do the breakdown on my own, but i could see that there are 120 words in todays puzzle.
I was thinking it was about that big, since I got 74 words before I started to slow down. Thanks.
u627. make current
u630. hours you are awake
T6/30 A lever or projecting arm that moves or is moved by contact with another part, usually to transmit motion, as between a driving mechanism and a valve
anyone ever find a clue on Atalante's P7/48?
Nope, that's the only one mentioned that I can't find...
Tappity should be a word - that's the sound I hear when my dog is walking on the wood floors - tippity tappity.
p 7/48 : something a butterfly did...
AHA! Great clue, thanks!
does anyone have a different clue for p/7/48? i can't make sense of this one...
lady -- think about the process of becoming a butterfly ;)
P6/30

thanks baggo! youre our hero!
no you guys are, i really cheated today...in my own way and read teh chat log before starting. first time ever i have the big ones right off the bat...
my last note really sounded bad. I didn't want to imply that I cheat, cause I don't, I just knew that my time on here today was limited so I jumped for clues right off the bat...
Baggo, we all have our own private rules for this game. For me, I won't go to dictionaries or online sources till I have 75% of the total. That's my private form of "cheating"...
Just curious... does anyone consider consulting outside sources "cheating?"
y6/39 Hooray! from earlier...hmmm...got another clue maybe?
thanks for the clues, you guys...of course, that was exactly what I needed...
mark: hooray! woohoo! yay! yahoo!
I don't consider 'outside sources' cheating -- I try to get as many as I can first -- then check for stats/clues. Finally go to word lists. Sometimes finding just one word triggers a bunch more!!
Thank you for the stats, baggo. If you used wordracer around 8AM would you please check. Whoever used wordracer has the bottom i and e switched and the count there only gives 119.
roberts, my husband uses teh tangleword solver...it tends to be more reliable. I don't consider using outside sources as cheating as you are still looking for words and using clues. i too don't go to other sources until i have done as much as i can on my own. defeats the purpose. now if you go to a solver and copy it from there, that's cheating..
Okay...Now lets vote for the stupidest word in this puzzle. Hint: starts with a "Y".
I think there is only really one "a" word. Can't come up with a second. Any hints? Or were the stats posted earlier incorrect?
Whoops. Never mind. I found the other "a". Duh.
Hey Judi ...a/5/12...burned or scorched or browned by the sun
i havent found either A yet...heh ive realized im terrible at finding words that start with vowels!
heh, thanks to mark i have one of them now! ;)
evan the other one is something you would yell to someone on a ship
A4! im a dunce! hehe
FINITO! Schwing! Can't believe I finished one.
congrats judi! im 30 words behind you myself...hehe
I apologize to baggo. Just foolishness on my part. More rest might help. The count looks great. Thank you for doing them.
Thanks for the stats and clues all !! :))
'At 07:37 am Gail said... That P7/48 has me S6/33'd, too. Oh dear, I'm talking in Babble...' That is so funny!! :)
If there are reallly, truly only 120 words in this hyar puzzle, I BE DONE.
Fit!, if you're still here, do you have the final point total for this layout? TIA
120 for 4.66 and 1636
look how close it is to APTITUDE. darnit!
Hmm . . . I thought "apie" meant apiece; but no dice. I guess it is either two words, too archaic, or I was just plain wrong.
I cheated. First time...just learned to cheat. Now, I watnt to delete this puzzle on my Rank. Anybody know how? I'd rather do it entirely alone. From now on.
