my cat is just going crazy with the chipmunks and squirrels outside the patio door. very entertaining
for some reason little acorns have been dropping lately and they're busy harvesting them, and sh'e busy tracking them.

Every few years oak trees produce an absurd amount of acorns and will shed them earlier to middle in the summer.
I wish I could find something that would keep the crows and starlings off the property
sometimes I have so many acorns I can barely walk on the stones or driveway, they're all covered. I have a lot of big oaks

there is definitely less these days. When we were in Asbury Park I just hung around like a queen and let everyone else do all the cooking and most of the cleaning up. Only went to the beach one day, and definitely shorter walks now.

Yes, but maybe it is the humidity. Still one big concession- taking train on Sunday and not driving. But driving is my autonomy and control and I don't like giving in and giving that up.

oh no one, it's just that the trip to Baltimore can take four hours or more depending on traffic. And I don't think that's really a great idea now

i've taken the train rather than drive, in my 20s, just because it was more pleasant - so maybe if you don't think of it as having anything to do with aging, you won't have to resent it :)

I get that hursh, but I really do love driving, particularly my new little baby Volvo EX 30. I'm obsessed with this car, so much fun to drive.

and the other one is actually weirdly spelled wookiee because apparently george lucas just likes to be extra... but idk if that's a proper noun like "he's a Scot" or a common noun like "he's a human" or "he's a cat". but i can't really say i'm surprised that it wouldn't be in enable either way.

hi everyone - spent most of the day with the kids at their chalet in Big White Ski Resort. They also have extensive mountain biking trails up there that my son and grandson like to spend their time on.
