had a row with my psych doc over the phone today about my meds. long story short, she's lazy & doesn't want to read up on her patients.

yup. she's the 3rd psych doc the memphis va hospital has, and the best one out the lot. she's not the most senior, just the best one so far. but so far, all 3 of them don't want to read my file to see my medicine history to know what's worked so far & what hasn't.
no idea how they think they can treat you if they don't
all 3 of them claim that since i came from another state that tbey don't have access to my file, which is a bunch of bulls*it, i had to sign a bunch of waivers and transfer paperwork so i could get my ketamine. and i have to renew that transfer every year so they can access and update ny file. so, it begs the question....wtf????
very frustrating. Can you have it printed out and sent to you? So you can put a paper dossier in their hands?
it might be possible. i might have to go to the american legion to get it done. it's one hell of a file, though. we're talking abiut over a decade's worth of information.
there are downsides to everything. But at least if you had it all yourself you could make sure your doctors have what they need.

and i'd have an up-to-date list of what i've actually tried before...i hate not remembering. side effects of the ECT i underwent for this ailment.

she was diagnosed last September.I went out then. She gave up all medication and improved hugely!!I went for Christmas.Brilliant. I wnt back beginning of June and was shocked at her appearance. In the middle of my stay she was taken into the local hospice
i'm so glad you had all that time with her, deeha. living in two countries cannot have been easy for you.
