has anyone found more than 4 W words?
I have only found 4
thank you :)
i think this puzzle has somewhere in the vacinity of 100 words.
Although after 53 I'm bogging down :)
Yeah, I'm at 57. I can't find that fourth W word.
Well I upped to 56, and I'm off to golf. But I don't think this is a barn blazer like the last few
the fourth W word is quite Tolkieny ..
3 4-letter W words and 1 6-letter one, right?
*gasp* I've got a 5 letter one!
aha! the total rises!
now I need to find the 6!
and i need to find the "5"!
the 5 is the tolkien-y one, if that helps!
W6/39: One who constructs or repairs something.
W5/28 Wiry and agile

R8/70 ideology of the political right.
Thanks Treble99!
Gail - That S7/36 word you gave has the dictionary definition of an S7 word that just isn't quite in the puzzle (and would be an S7/28 if it were), and the adjective derived from that word *would* be an S7/36, but it's not quite in the puzzle either. What am I missing????
Never mind. Time to take a break.

I'm with Doogle. That S7-36 is not coming together for me. Any other clues or help would be appreciated.
i just copied and pasted gail's def to "google" and got the word...
Thanks, Baggo. That works.
no problem judi...that's what i do when all else fails. and i found a new search site at the same time. (dictionary of difficult words)
A very late start, but the puzzle is not so big, I see... time to have some babblefun!
Short of a few words, I'll do the ironing and come back later. I thought oit was fairly easy at first and then I struggled!
Okay, the C4-1 gets my vote for weirdest word of the day. Never seen that combination before.
Couldn't agree more, Judi. Must be something scottish or irish, I presume.
welsh - plural of welsh word for lake
Thanks Atalante... I knew the word from other babble grids but it sure looks weird!
Its common when you've lived in wales for a good number of years :)
GRRRR. Lith, n, photographic film with a very thin coat of emulsion, producing images of high contrast and density. It won't take THAT word but it's always full of stuff that only a Ph.D. in English (no offense) would know. grumble grumble grumble
add 2 letters on the end ...
Okay--a friend told me about this site. I'm putting in words that I KNOW are words but I'm getting message that they're NOT in the puzzle. ???? Does that just mean that someone else has already used it? Thanks in advance for reply.
ok, I got the two L's based on a photograph. So what's the third? Eh?
Got to go. Will ask my question again next time.
no, it just means they're a bit arbitrary about what they'll accept
ditto re third L . . . help, please
thanks Atalante, found 'em right after my post. tsk. I HATE this game LOL.
any clues on the last 'L' ? I have the L5/16 & 6?27 ?????
