Indeed, it does.
T/7/28 X 4
OTH I've found 2 A8/40's now,.
I still haven't found the second A/8/40 but Im stopping for now at 123. Good Night All and Happy Babbling!!!!
C7/36 and a related C8/50. I'll get stats...
I was curious how many more I needed so Hubby checked and said there are 277 words in the puzzle. :))
I can't do stats anymore - I don't know if the Tangleword website has changed formatting or it's because I updated my OS, but now I get words in a paragraph instead of a list. Anyone using Sprite's solver who can take a crack at this one?
another C7/36

Alison, are you here?
Krys10 that site changed it's formatting / on the left of the screen u have to click on my old website to get back to the way it was. :))
Hi Alastyr :-)
Sounds like you're getting the hang of it :-)
Lol. 68 points so far. I'm getting the hang of this. :P
Well done Alastyr - read the rest of the posts - you'll get clues from the others. People like to share here too :-)
The stats tell you how many words altogether in today's puzzle and how many words starting with each letter :-)
Ah. I was wondering what those were...
C8/50 X2
C8/50 x 2 means two 8 letter words starting with C :-)
E7/28 x2
Lol, thanks for clarifying that. I was going to ask but I would have felt stupid. :P
L7/28
Ask away - everyone here will be happy to explain and help you out :-)
We all had to start somewhere ;-)
R7/28
Where do the stats come from, if I may so cluelessly ask?
O7/28 and O8/40 There are several websites that have solvers for Boggle-style games, and some of us have written scripts that will cull statistics from the solvers without making it too easy to read the words at the same time.
O7/28 x2, actually
My dearest husband has put together a programme into which you input the boggle grid and it spits out the stats ... he's just testing it at the moment, and we're trying to work out which enable dictionaries to use ... wilson27fan - tanglewood is your site? could you give us some help with the enable stuff - he unpacked the enable download and looked at all the different dictionaries in horror!
R8/40
second t8/40 which I don't think was in yesterday's puzzle :)
a FIFTH T7/ 28
D7/40 and D8/45
a 2nd D7/32
a 3rd D7/32
a 4th D7/32, a 2nd and 3rd D8/45, and a D9/60
C7/40
Ya know I used to think I had a really great vocabulary until I came here. I've struggled to find 9 D's and I'll be dinged if I can see anything larger than a D6. I need to quit coming here as it's hammering my ego. bah.
I have 16 d's but I can't find anything over 7 letters starting with d so far...
a 3rd C7/36
a 2nd A7/28
D8/45 . . . European bird of the plover family, including ringed plover
Thanks, I was going all around that word, but not getting it.
Any clues for the O8 and the S8, please?
so far i don't have either of those--maybe someone else will be generous!
another L7/28
The O8 is a hormone of importance to women (pluralized)
S8/40 people who break into your house and take things
a8/40 the one who would take that s8 to jail.. 8)
S7/36. Still can't find a bunch of D7s and C7s. Sigh. Any clues?
I have 2 c7's...one is something you eat for breakfast, and another is how the sky looks on a day with no clouds.
Hey baggo. Great effort yesterday! So close to breaking 500.
I've got the D8/45 that's ornithological, but I'm missing the other 2. Any hints?
Thanks, MammaJill
Doogle: the 2nd D8 is a variation in spelling of the 'plover' one. The 3rd D8 has to do with a double star figure present in the cell during mitosis; also called amphiaster
T7-36 x 2
hello there katie d!
Hellllllooooo KathyW. Thanks for the tip on "tits"!
no problem, KD! I'm a 4 letter word kinda gal. Big words are tough, ya know?
E8/50 - Something not of this world. Has Latin roots.
Has anyone gotten over 1000 yet? This is my first puzzle and I'm at 1024... :)
