5:43 am

Rolin - you'd be excused for not finding them, one appears to be an acronym, one doesn't have a definition in dictionary.com, and the last is an informal term for "Of, relating to, involving, or designed for use in grades 1 to 12"

6:01 am

6:01 am

6:10 am

Och! Variant spellings shall be the death of me. (Thanks.)

6:11 am

ubgrud, you need one more h4/7 I think. Aside from that, our lists seem to match.

6:13 am

6:13 am

6:14 am

morning all... gosh... this is already difficult!

6:14 am

sorry meant another da4/5

6:15 am

rolin think you might need the one that sounds like it's tight

6:15 am

There's 2 da4/5's, a de4/5, and a di4/5. No doubt the final list will have 78 words on it or something equally nuts.

6:16 am

ok..so only the t4/4 left

6:17 am

6:22 am

6:22 am

Rolin Ta 4/4 2 Te 4/4 1 Ti 4/4 1

6:23 am

Yep definitely two ti 4's One of them converts into a ti 5 as well.

6:23 am

yeah ellard..but granadan said there are 2x ti4/4

6:24 am

so italy will have to wait..lol

6:24 am

granadan - did you mean t4/4 or just t4's? this is getting very confusing - where IS brandysnap!?

6:25 am

There are 3xti4's in circulation: a ti4/4, a ti4/5 and a ti4/8. You found another ti4/4? I'm looking again, but geometrically there are only so many possibilities.

6:25 am

ok, I have 32 words, 9 to go... not sure what I'm missing yet!

6:26 am

i'm with you chicob - i've done everything i can think of and nada

6:27 am

which means we all gang up on grenadan and 'extract' the missing ti4/4

6:27 am

go rolin - *cowering behind your shoulders*!!!

6:28 am

I'll bring the torches! (ginger, ubgrud's list is the working one right now, except there are 3 h4/7's instead of 2.)

6:28 am

hey...i control year 11 boys who are a foot taller than me..*sharpening my machete*

6:29 am

I've got the 3 x ti too :)

6:30 am

wow - you're brave - how old are year 11's. I'm from the olden times when it was 1st year 2nd year etc from age 11 so don't really understand this year 11 etc. In my days that would have made me about 22!

6:31 am

lol..yr 11's are 15/16yo.. or secondary year 5 in your day

6:31 am

FMitch- are they ti4/5, ti4/8 and ti4/4?

6:31 am

I only have 2 ti.... a ti4 /4 and a ti4 /8

6:31 am

4x ti in total

6:32 am

aaah it all becomes clear now...i think! all those raging hormones! utmost respect to teachers of teens!

6:32 am

ti4 5 ti4 8 ti5 16 ti4 4 ti5 10

6:32 am

Well, alright... granadan, what are the point totals on those 4 ti's?

6:33 am

6:33 am

respect is nice....could you throw money pls?

6:33 am

lola yes they are and then there is the ti5/10 and 16

6:33 am

kebek...i am..cos thats all ive got..

6:34 am

6:35 am

only 5 left to get any clue on the e4/7 & f4/9 please!

6:35 am

e4/7 ..a headless capital of india...

6:35 am

fmitch e4/7 is india's shortened capital!

6:36 am

f4/9....erm.... starts the posh word for money matters

6:36 am

thanks forgot about that clue from earlier

6:36 am

f4/9 The treasury of a kingdom or state.

6:37 am

so are we voting that grenadan's extra t14/4 is a phantom?

6:37 am

ti4/4 i meant

6:37 am

well, i'm gonna go and maybe come back later to see if there are any other words *eyes rolling to heaven and fingers crossed* - hopefully not! good luck everyone

6:38 am

Morning everyone! My goodness this is a doozy today, isn't it!

6:38 am

f4/9 also rhymes with the d4/7. That should do it. I vote bogus on granadan's extra ti4/4, pending further clarification.

6:39 am

hi all, i cant get all the stats without seeing the words, but there are definitely 41 words in todays puzzle.

ooops....didn't mean only second time I've tried...meant only second time completed....see it's gone to my head !!

9:55 am

hyper - the dy word. Meaning is:Two individuals or units regarded as a pair. Another route there might be to think what Jennifer Aniston and others used to use 'because I'm worth it' and then think of a short word for what they were appearing in when saying that.

10:01 am

10:14 am

Micha, think of the 19th letter of the alphabet and someone with a lisp trying to say it then add a letter

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.' LOL:-)

Parsec took his vorpal sword in hand: Long time the manxome foe he sought -- So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood awhile in thought. And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Babblegrid, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And babbled as it came!

Mickie, as Evanadine quoted some Burgess poetry earlier, I think this other quote quite apt.:-) 'I'D rather have Fingers than Toes; I'd rather have Ears than a Nose; And as for my Hair, I'm Glad it's All There; I'll be Awfully Sad when it Goes!'

1:47 pm

Kristen - there's only one en6/27.

fi5/32 - if something broken has been mended it has been fi***.

1:49 pm

Sorry, I meant 2 words en6/27 and fi5/32 but also noticed I'm missing da6/30. ARG!

1:51 pm

thanks Jacula on the fi word - I kept trying the ole southern term using the letter x and of course Dr God must not be from the south!

1:56 pm

Kristen - your 'en' word. The word you're looking for means 'the fact of existence; being'. Take your ti4/8 and change the 3rd letter, then add e* at the beginning. Voila!

1:58 pm

The d6/30. I'll repost Bobsta's excellent clue from earlier: 'At 10:52 am Bobsta said... d6 is the forth letter of the hebrew alphabet. If you watch Dr. Who then it sounds a bit like his most famous enemy when said by someone with a lisp.'

1:58 pm

well, now i find it necessary to write his reply to the purple cow: "Ah, Yes! I Wrote the "Purple Cow" -- I'm Sorry, now, I Wrote it! But I can Tell you Anyhow, I'll Kill you if you Quote it!"

2:00 pm

Thanks to Jacula, I have all but one word. I just need ha 4/10

2:01 pm
