Classical music people maybe would like this:
Bach's cello suites, recorded for the third and last time by Yo-Yo Ma, who has been playing them for almost 60 years, or since he was 6-ish years old, and called Six Evolutions, 2018. Somehow Bach got all of life into these pieces, and they're sustaining/fortifying/healing - whatever you need them to be - esp in horrible times.

[It's said Rostropovich, on learning of the death of his sumo wrestler friend's child (I know, but he got around), flew to Tokyo, was driven to the family's home, and sat outside to play one of the sonatas (or part thereof), then got back in car and went home.]

And Bach's sonatas and partitas for violin, so great too, (Nathan Milstein = breathtaking, though chilly - but also Perlman who's warm, Heifetz who's Heifetz, Hilary Hahn who's brilliant and original and shiny new, or by anyone (except Oistrakh: never recorded them) who calls themself a solo violinist. I need all the recordings.

Constance Baker Motley: "Let them wear towels." A civil rights giant. Worked in the south against segregation (dangerous), won 9 out of 10 cases she argued before the Supreme Court, was appointed a federal judge, famously ruled female journalists could interview athletes in the locker room, and much else.

Ida B. Wells: Intrepid journalist. At alarming personal risk exposed truth about lynchings.
'There is no force equal to a woman determined to rise,' W.E.B. Du Bois says.

'...the world is all messed up. The nation is sick. Trouble is in the land; confusion all around... But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars.'
