Happy New Year Vancouver (8.20AM here) how many words please?
199 mari and Happy new year turned midnight 39 minutes ago here
Thanks
Yw :)
ARe you from Seattle, Missy -- just watched the telecast from there.
N. Cali :)
I think I've wrecked this puzzle. I'm probably blocking myself from completing the grid by using the wrong letters to make words.
Angel refresh and try again
Brandyjack's stats are posted -- I've had it for tonight -- see you in the morning. :)
Goodnight nan :)
bye cyber!! happy new year
good nite all...... sweet dreams!!!!!!
HNY 'nan.... sleep well!
anyone have a clue for the ec5/12?
Missy...I did refresh; didn't help. my word list is still here.
Angel but you can't type in a word? When that happens to me I have to close my browser and start everything again
missy..no, that isn't the problem. for example, one of the g's in the grid has a single word it begins with, another has 12. if I use the wrong g to begin a certain word and should have used the other, I've blocked myself, have I not?
Angel that is a mess!
monc - ec5/12 - brilliance, (based on the French word for lightening)
so, no point in working on this particular grid. *sigh*...
it shouldn't block you just because you used the wrong one...you'll be "blocked" so to speak until you find a word the grid will accept...in the meantime...it's recognizing every word you use, whether its the right one or not
excuse me for popping in and out so often, but it matters not which g you begin the word with. The grid is simply a record of the first occurence of words.
Angel... I don't understand... how does the game know which letter you have started from?
ok. so I'm not going to give up yet!
to explain, Hugabug, I'd have to put some of the words in my response. I don't know if that's ok or not...
The grid doesn't know which letter you are starting from... it selects it from the first letter that it's possible to make that specific word from... the grid can't tell how you see it, only if it is a word that's acceptable.
Angel, the grid does not control anything; it's just a record or the first ocurrence of words. If you use a different g than the one listed in the grid, the grid will record that it's g has been used, but in the end it doesn't matter at all. Does that make any sense?
sure it does, and it helps a lot, thanks Mab
HAPPY NEW YEARS FROM MAPLE RIDGE BC CANADA
Happy new year to all from murky Essex. Why does the dog not understand 'go away I want to babble'? I guess we'll have to go walkies and babble later.
un/10?

It is very quite.... are you all busy working on the grid or is it party time.... still ??
un10/98 one leafed
thank you spelit.....
I just had a great idea. I'm going to create a profile for my browser just for babbling.
hi everyone and a happy new year!
hey, Sam

A very happy new year to you all... even if you haven't arrived there yet :)
thanks mrp! hi sprite!

As far as I know it is...but the grid doesn't accept it *sigh* folic acid is legit
Oh, I feel so liberated!! I have transformed!!
Have a nice day.

prefix fo/7 marc :)
karenth, how do you get from the n to the f doesn't make sense
"Marc. add another vowel
add a 'single' letter to un - meaning one
Oh karenth don't have the fo7 but I do see how to get form the n to the f
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL FROM HASTINGS ENGLAND
sorry marc still a bit vague from last nite didnt mean to mislead you
fo 7 / 40 - of or relating to leaves.
Dip got the fo7 from that and the 6 but can seem to connect the un to get the un10? thanks
Marc - re 6.14 clue - place before fo7 /40
add another vowel after the first three letters of your fo word, Marc... there are two sets that sound the same. The one with the extra letter will give you your un word.
thanks trish got it now un6/33 is driving me craze. dip sorry I cannot find a re6/14 as far as I can see there are no re's
H*A*P*P*Y N*E*W Y*E*A*R E*V*E*R*Y*O*N*E .......Hope you all had a gr8 time and wish you all a healthy,happy and peaceful year to come........B*I*G B*E*A*R H*U*G from tbear...xxx
oops - sorry - re 6.14 was the time of clue!! (It is New years day) un 6 / 33 - joining together
thanks tbear... and happy new year everyone :) Marc, same prefix as before, add first three letters of a work of ***tion (not fact)
thanks trish no problem dip
going back to bed with 74 words to go. Happy New Year LOL
lol, and to you Marc. G'luck with the rest :)
un6/33 - unity
Happy 2006 everyone. Hate this grid. Why won't it accept folic, as in folic acid, the health supplement?
and to you, Hyrda... yes, it's weird, especially as it accepts another 'fo' word that's a salt from it!
missing just 1 c ci6/21?
Ooh! I haven't got that one yet. Did anyone else see the fireworks on the South Bank? I only saw them on TV but it was the best display I've ever, ever seen.
Large town minus last letter, plus Spanish for 'Hi!'
I was there for them last year, Hydra, but last night I watched them on tv too, as I'm visiting my family. Happy New Year everybody!! :D
& to you Babbler :) Will have to come back for my last 10, good luck everyone.
any clues to the et's?
My friend in Camden Town said the fireworks were so loud that they scared her cats, even though she had the windows shut. I am a wimp about loud bangs. I would have needed earplugs!
Yes, you're meant to feel them. The whole of London booms with fireworks on special occasions anyway. I think maybe because it's in a valley?? Dunno. I love the sound! : )

Happy New Year, zoom and cherrypop. Anyone got a clue for si7/32?
'fraid not hydra - this grid is proving to be harder work than i thought!
I think I have everything before that Si, so if you need any clues...
Happy New Year everyone! Hydra -- def for the si7 is to bend or curve, but it can also be preceded by "in" and mean "to infer something" :)
Cathy, thanks a million. Got it right away from your clue.
ym, hydra !
thanks cathy - good clue:)
i've reached half way so time for more food & drink - back later:)
thanks Cathy
There is no nicer place on the internet to spend time than here at Babble. Thank you all for making my scant leisure time so pleasant. I am looking forward to spending much relaxing time here this year. Happy New Year, everyone.
Angelsong, what a lovely thing to say. Hope you continue to enjoy Babbling in 2006 and thanks for your company.
Same to you, Angelsong ... and I agree, it's a wonderful group of people here in Babbleland. Happy New Year !!

Good morning doxy :) Can anyone give me a hint toward the of6 please?

Happy New Year everyone, Hi Kallia

Morning All: My last c is the ci6/21 any clues from people who have finished Thx!!
bye trish
hi speedfreak -- I just finally found that one myself. it's the ci + one of the to 4/4's (ending sounds like a Spanish HELLO). Hope that helps :)
Happy New Year fellow Babblers!! :D
Thank you Cathy!! Happy New Year Evanadine:)
hi evanadine -- back at ya !! (toots horn and throws confetti)
Happy New Year to you all! Hope you & yours are safe & well. Have had no time at all over the holiday to chat much and have attempted only a few grids -I am hoping for a return to normal life very soon!
missed you, snowyowl ... hope you had wonderful holidays!
Ty Cathy - just the usual - an excess of almost everything and a firm resolve to buy a dishwasher this year! lol - been promising myself one since about 1980!
well, after 25 yrs I'd say you certainly deserve one !!
HI IM NEW DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY WORDS TO TELL ME???????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????? ??????
snowy, you just gotta break down and do it this year. you'll love it.
Hiya doxy
hi gran, how's the pups?
any clues for li7/28, the last li7?
nevermind, just got it.
Wooki has eaten through the toe of my wellies. Wiggi still has wind and still insists my lap is *the* place to be. Sam has been caught out peeing up my ficus (cos its dying and stinks), Phoenix has brought in a hibernating toad and is frothing at the mouth. Blods is dancing round the garden and WONT be caught. So Ive put on the kennel heater and left her out there - she will start to howl when she has had enough.....
sounds like you have your hands full. keep those matches put away.
when you pick something up? Thats the only li6 Ive got here
Fingers- We don't give words here but lots of clues if you look back through the log. There's also a really helpful site - on the far right of this page under the Friends of Babble heading is Babblers Anonymous- click on there and you'll be able to access a list giving the 1st & 2 letters of all the words.
Well, thats just the dogs. Ive got three small sons too ;-))
Lol granadan - you sound like you're having more fun than us! Had 3 of the 5 grandchildren staying last night and took them all to church this morning. now having some much needed time off after tackling the kitchen floor.
snowyowl i dont get it!
Aww, Im looking forward to grandkids. Im gonna fill em up with alcohol and e numbers - send them back and say "Revenge is SO sweet"
well, doxy..since you got that li 7/28, maybe you'd like to offer a clue for the clueless??
One of mine is modelling wth salt dough - one is mashing it into the carpet and the baby is trying to workout why it tastes manky.
li + to4 meaning to carry
how old are the kids granadan?
8, 2 and 11 months
you really do have your hands full. be patient though, it ends all too soon.
Fingers - you make words by using letters which are adjoining - horizontally, vertically and diagonally - letters can only be used once per word, and can go in any direction or directions.
thanks, doxy...always fun to give a clue for what you just got!
I kept them all up until they dropped! I had a really subversive grandmother and am modelling myself on her!!! Great fun - much to the disgust of my two children who seem to think their kids have to be perfect at all time. I have to spend a lot of time pointing out theuir childhood deficiencies!!!!!
I dont want it to end. i wouldnt change a thing. I am so lucky. Just got to talk himself into two more. I always wanted 5.
hmm..manky? is that a British term, perhaps?!
yw babs, glad to help when I can.
I think so Babs. Manky - not nice.
wanted 5, stopped at 4. Get first grandchild in about 3 weeks.
i kind of like that word - manky. Perfect descriptive word.
Snowy - my babies still sleep down the bed with me and climb up my t shirt when hungry. The eight year old is the sane one in the family. hes too sensible to be mine.
How exciting!
Oh doxy - they're GREAT!!!! As much as I love my own 2 - the grandchildren are a joy & NOT because you can give them back! I think it's because you can be much more laid back with the grandchildren, the pressure is off and there's more time for fun.
I took lessons from a great role model at work. I want to be just like her. My mom was too strict even as a grandmother. Seems like she is always so critical of everything.
has anyone found more than 27 words?????????
LOL Granadan - the 3 year old was watching 101 Dalmations yesterday and told me "thats no way for a growed up to behave nana"!! I sometimes think they're older than me!
There are 199 words today
how many have you found
Only 84 so far! I have got stuck there too.
happy new year y'all- does anyone need a clue before i tackle cleaning the house and laundry?
give me some hints i only found 27
I'm at 138 so far. Found 85 last night before bed.
any clues for the long et and the long to's?
i need some hints!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the to8's all work off of the to5/10 meaning entire.
et 8/40 means To cause (a plant) to develop without chlorophyll by preventing exposure to sunlight et 9- make 8 plural
I DONT GET THESE CLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well you've more tham me fingers, but this is a game where you compete with yourself really. Did yiou try the Babblers Anonymous site? When you find it click on general and it will give you a list showing the number of words in the grid and the letters they start with
or on the et8 et + 2 vowels +la4/4(not on time)
et word: To cause (a plant) to develop without chlorophyll by preventing exposure to sunlight. sounds like plant abuse to me! ends in l 4 letter word for tardy
Happy New Year Beebee! Fingers you can copy and paste clues you don't understand into google.
thanks for the et clues.
same to you snowy :)
fingers - there are 111 4-letter words. Go to Babblers Anon and you can find the first two letters of each. Then try different combinations.
Any clues for le7/32? Please and ty
you can also use morewords.com and onelookreversedictionary.com. There is also a2z. They can all help you find words.
mac- do you have the le 6/21- the 7 is it's plural
never mind - found it - always happens when I ask - then I see, lol
its not telling me the first 2 letters of the words or anything
Thanks anyway beebee :)
anytime mac- that's always how it goes lol
anyone have hints for the biggies? 7s, 8s, 9, or 10? havent babbled in a week and i think my brain fell asleep. ;)
How about the dreaded dr6/27?
fingers - click on "General" and then on "Stats Puzzle.."
fingers, click on babblers anonymous, then general, then letter list
Dr6 -- least wet
mac- the opposite of wettest
Thank you evandine and beebee :) I love it when I miss words I should know ;)
evandine, the to7's and 8's all build off of the to5/10 meaning entire.
wheres letter list?? :(
how about a hint for that le 6/21? seem to be moving tooo slowly here, probably time to do something else (with less neuorns needed!)
fingers - scroll down!
al7-A gray mineral, chiefly K2Al3(OH)6(SO4)3, used in making alum and fertilizer. 2 of the eg7's build from"he has a huge eg*"
oops..dyslexic typing! dangers ahead!
ROTFLMAO! Wondered what you were going to say for a mo!
well nvm i cant find it
the fo6's, 7's - some refer to salts of folic acid. other fo's refer to what you do to your skin usually preceded by exfo*******
el7-To make proud or joyful
got i think 4 8s building off the To5, but no 7s -- any hints on those?
un10 = un + fo8
sorry, no 7's. my mistake
fingers -open babble in a new window- on the top left of the screen- there is a box that says friends of babble there are names in green- the last one is babblers anonymous- click on it- it will open to another screen- click on general- then another screen will open- click on stats puzzle1013-then just scroll down all the letters and stats will be there.
greetings all... happy 2006 :D
to7- comes from the to 4/4 that are 2 small words put together
hi sherb
hey sherb
fingers- did you get the stats yet?
Happy New Year Sherb
*confused* about the Un10 clue
have you got your fo8's yet?
you need to add a vowel between the un and the fo
ehy doesnt alot work
hi doxy :) hi beebee :) hi snowy :)
ahh, thanks. :)
sorry, forgot that part. my brain isn't working either.
Click here fingers - or copy and paste if it doesnt link http://p105.ezboard.com/fb abblersanonymousfrm2
What does that to 4 word mean anyway...never have been able to find a definition! I think to 4/4 + fi 4/7 should be a word...sounds good to me! lol
to 7 to = one tiny word + suffix
ahaa! for inquiring minds the to 4/4 made of two little words means to saunter...
babs- you got me- i never know what 1/3 of the words mean lol
thanks babs, always wondered that one.
happy babbling- i'm off to clean- good luck everyone
later beebee :)
bye beebee - hope to see you again soon

how many words total today?
LOL Babbler!!! thanks t-owl...i wonder how it ended up at marte gras????
199
Hi obscurity, 199 words. Nice name! : ) Happy New Year!
ci 6/21?
OK Ren - got to go but this is for you: Mummers tradition dates back to 400 BC and the Roman Festival of Saturnalias where Latin laborers marched in masks throughout the day of satire and gift exchange. This included Celtic variations of "trick-or-treat" and Druidic noise-making to drive away demons for the new year. Reports of rowdy groups "parading" on New Years day in Philadelphia date back before the revolution. Prizes were offered by merchants in the late 1800's. January 1, 1901 was the first "official" parade.
ci6/21 - ends like our babble buddy lo**100 ;)
cyber - half the word is a big town minus last letter, and the other half is spanish for hello

I have lo5/20, lo5/14 and lo5/12 what am I missing Please

In music one of the do 5 is to play in a gentle or sweet manner.
do 5/14 both same except last letter, from italian for sweet

found the el5 and el6 , still need help with el7

Nonny, thanks, found the el7
babs - i'm assuming it means false. begins like non-true literature, ends like the things your kitchen floor might be made of
why not "folic"? folic acid?
hurshy, thanks found fi7 with your great clue
fl---plural of 5/50, Babs
been wondering that all along, Hurshy!
yah, thanks, hurshy for the 7..how about the 6/33?

la 6/18 - opposite of recent

lo5/20 - add sometimes vowel to lo4/7
many thanks peri
anytime sandy
clue for the si7 please
still stuck on la 6/18 even with hint...:(
Thanks, oldhouse -- was starting with the wrong l!
si/7...to err +u+ past tense of eat
peri - there's a word (not in puzzle), in9, that means to imply, and if you chop off the in, you get the si7
peri...often seen as a word with in as beginning...ends in past tense of another word for "chow down"
clue for ot
Babs, do you have la4/4 - just add a common ending another clue - not earliest
got it...thanks peri ..was starting with wrong l as well.

li + plural of a little bag starting with to
oh sorry, that's 7/48, too silly
li6 - perhaps an odd way of spelling ms. lohan's name
will someone give me a long word im not very good at this game
fingers - a person who is very full of themselves is an eg7. the thing they have is the other eg7.
How about some clues for the 10? I am desperate to get all the long words.....
(what counts as "long" btw?)
in10 ... having one leaf
Oh well beans. I made the same mistake T did. It's in for 10 NOT un sorry.

duh. YES Un not in. slapping myself with a wet noodle.
un 10/98
too much sugar at brunch (I really should avoid the french toast and syrup).

and need the to 6/24, please?
ok, down to s, t, and u...
Hi all! am racking my brain for the un - single leaf!!! Anyone have another hint?
li 7 - li + to 5/10
It's hard for everyone at first, Fingers. Most of us have played either Scrabble or Boggle and that helps.
Fingers...it isn't easy for any of us, I think...except maybe Sprite? no offense at anyone, but just some encouragement for fingers...
Got it Babs -- thnx
maggie, agent orange de--s forests. Instead of de- add a prefix meaning "one"
one question why doesnt alot work?
Five left -- all to's
beginning of a word for a bicycle with one wheel + word for take of dead skin - the ex part
fingers - because it's two words - "a lot"
alot is actually two words; a and lot. That's why it doesn't work
do 5/16?
babs - it's a plural
i only have 55 words
that's not that bad, fingers - it's pretty hard today
vicuna - dagnabit! I still don't get it! Wish I could blame my lameness on a hangover, but I don't drink! lol
Aren't red check marks lovely things? Anyone need clues?
to 6/24 and do 5/16 still no have...I LUV red check marks!
Babs's clue was probably better. Start with what you do to your skin to slough off the dead skin. Take away ex- and add the latin "one" prefix in its place. Does that help any?
babs giv me some clues i got the uni one
to 6/24: hauling, carrying -- based on to 4/4
(Maggie, I don't drink either, so I, too, have to take responsibility for my own thickness!)
do 5/16: plural of do 4/7 -- civic leader in Venice (or was it the church leader?)
It was the civic leader- he had the famous palace.
lol vic! still working on it, I've a feeling I've never heard of the word!
(cybernan, someone in a funny hat, anyway!)
What, specifically, would you like a clue for, fingers?
Babs1 will you give me some clues for big words
what a sweet dog Haz1558!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's my Welsh Spring Speniel - Spangle.
wow, that was FUN, i capped my puzzle off with a very swift run through the to8's :)
YES!!!! found the uni word at last!
Congratulations, Maggieg!
i found the uni word a long time ago
Haz, say that 10 times fast. . . .
Fingers.......... al 7/32: al + join together (as when two people or groups are joined) el 7/36: making joyous fo 6/27 and 7/40 (plural): lo + not early fo 7/40 and 8/55 (plural): same as above but drop a vowel into the third letter spot. li 7/28: li + to 4/5 (carries or hauls)
It's a bit of a tongue-twister, isn't it!
sure glad I don't get counted off everytime I see "OOPS, that isn't a word"
Yes, Maggie. Negative scores would not be fun. : )
i g2g be back on in a little while!!!!!!bye ;)
more of the biggies........ pe 6 & 7: rhymes with the p word that is what makes the jam gel. si 7/32: wrong doing + not me + consumed to 7/36: french you (familiar) + sound a triangle (musical) makes to 8's: all have the to 5/10 (add up) as the root un 10: Latin one + fo 7/40
100 words down, 99 to go
Correction: fo 6/27 and 7/40 (plural): FO + not early
Anyone need another clue before I leave?
How 'bout a clue for the fi7/44.... Gracias....
cyber, thank you so much for your help - I got almost all of your clues, which is good for me!! Happy new Year
How many to 8's are there?
fi 7/44: beginning of the type of prose a novel is + ti 4/4 (ceramic square you may have several of in your kitchen or bathroom)
There are 6 8's, Haz -- 4 of them are to's
Thanks, Cybernan - I go in search of the last one. Your clues have been very helpful.
to 8/50, to 8/40, to 8/45 and to 8/40 Haz -- Are you attempting this without benefit of Brandyjack's stats list?
Yes - I started late but am following my usual pattern of getting as many words as possible myself, then looking at BJ's list.
I understand -- like to get at least half way without the list myself -- gave in at 102 words on this one!
I'm at 79 words but will keep plugging away until inspiration and clues are no longer enough.
Logging off until the flip -- good luck everyone -- thanks for all the help Hurshy -- Health, Happiness and Good Fortune to all in 2006.
see ya tomorrow nan....8)
Goodnight, cybernan and thanks for your help.

Happy New Year everyone! Being way out in the boonies we didn't have any fireworks last night, but a beautiful, huge Barred Owl appeared outsde the window and sat there for about an hour. The best New Year's gift we could have wished for.
Happy New Year, Brandyjack!!!! :D
how wonderful, Eva!! Happy New Year! :D
any clues for le6/21 and le7/32 pls? ty
n/m... found them
Happy New Year Eva
babb..... le word rhymes with the stuff you use in making homemade jam/jelly
It felt like some wonderful and mysterious omen. This is only the second time we've seen the owl....since s/he is nocturnal, dusk is the only time we can get a glimpse. S/he is very interested in the birdfeeder - not to eat from it, but to eat those who are eating from it. But they are all gone buy the time the owl begins hunting. The red squirrels have built tunnels through the snow so that they can pop up and get right to the seed, without being exposed for too long.
thanks, moncrunchr : ) Eva - it probably was an omen. Have you looked it up?
No- didn't realize that there as an omen site(-: and the Delphic oracle is long gone. Where would I look it up?
I'd begin with an american indian shaman site. there's bound to be lots on google.
try this one: http://www.geocities.com /RainFore st/4076/index1.html
wow - the owl is the messenger of secrets and omens!! wow!!!
hi everybody! back to finish (i hope) : )
back again, hurshy are you still here
speaking of owls......
Eva - look up squirrels as well...... ability to solve puzzles!! wow! : ) and power of rest during times of non-movement.
Hi again T-Owl : ) Happy New Year, Peri!! : )
The Romans apaprently believed owls were harbingers of doom and death. The Greeks believed they were omens of impending victory in battle. Very powerful symbols, whatever the culture. For me the message was of wonder, the wisdom in stillness, the ability to wait, to act only when the moment is right.
then that's probably what the message was, Eva. : )
well the squirrels would probably do beter at this puzzle than I am - 67 words left to find and at that point where I simply can't believe that there are any more and if there are, they are utterly beyond my ken. Maybe if I became owlike and crunched on a few squirrel brains I'd be doing better?
groo! not sure about the snack!! you could ask for clues, however, lol! : )
Hi, happy 2006 to everyone out there. Any clues for the fo words?

fi 4/7 - just diff vowel on the end
Got to go everyone. I will check in later.
Ohmig-d, is just saw it. Thanks hurshy. BTW, my screen name is two words: boa and tierra. Boat always looks so strange to me. Boa means 'good' in Portugues and tierra means 'land/earth' in Espanol.
lol, sorry boa!
ni 5/20, please?
ni 5/20 "gee wally, what a ni5 slingshot! can i try it?" "no, beaver, it's brand new and you might ruin the elastic!"
neato, keeno, hurshy tu
yw
happy new year!
ditto mama!
Un10/98?
Oh, nevermind. I got it.

hi everyone -- i'm showing my daughter weebls-stuff.com
I am done too, woo hoo! Time to watch TV. See you tomorrow.
Congrats Peri!
good job peri!!!
Thanks a bunch
It was a tough one today even with BJ's list
LeslieAnn- the un10 begins with the 3 letter prefix meaning "one" and then add the fo 7/40 word
Anyone have a clue for la 6/24?
huzzah, thanks mama
yw
i don't have that one hockeyguy - sorry!
hockey, think of the famous hitchcock movie, ve*****, chop off the 1st 3, add the LA for the LA 6/24
hey mama! hey GW!
hi temple!!!!!!!
woof woof
la la la la lalalalalalala, ooooh how lovely.
Hi Temple -- getting in my cuddle time with Kristianna and working the grid :)
mama - have you seen smeltzie?
evenin' griff's & evanonut!!!!
grifs! evanonut! happy new year to you all!
no Temple, I haven't.....
Down to six... 1A, 1C, 3E
good evening, it has really been a wonderful day.
awesome, hockeyguy!!! I still have 85!!!!
i am just backon after crash : (
it seems like it's been weeks since he's been on
glad you had a great day evanonut!!1 great way to start the new year!
I still have 162 - what was I thinking waiting this long!
hockeyguy, i have all my E's.... can I help?
94 to go here...sorry bout the comp temp. but really, have you been giving it all the love it needs? it provides you with babble, but what do you provide it with?
Al7 has been giving me a headache.
I know Temple - I haven't seen him in a very long time.... miss him and his little superdog suit!!!!
*waves* Hi all - am here, just busy working on those words (and following some well places clues) :)
Well, the E's I need are. eg7 (both) et8 & 9
yes - no cuzzi action in a long time : )
i'm fond of the eg's
hockey, AL 7 = AL+ word for join ....i.e. ***** in Holy Matrimony
the eg7's to be exact - they sound so very neat.
* waves back to circe* i am left with one do5 - can anyone list all five of them for me? when i tried listing what i had earlier, it did not work out...
we had a brief cuzzi party last nite - was filled with bubbly champaign in honor of New Years!!! Hurshy was "thrown" in, as I recall.... or should I say gently nudged in....
eg 7 - me, and what i suffer from
Hi all! 66 to go here, but I doubt I will finish at my pace. keep falling asleep. And no, I did not drink last night.
Wow, the eg's just came to me. Hard to believe I missed those... the define me on occasion. Heh.
i have the 2 do5 that relate to sweets...and the one that completes anec*****
hi circe!!!
eg7 ...when you are full of yourself, you have a big ***, plus word for exam (except sub in the next vowel for the e )
evenin' mab!!!!!
temple do you have an animal + es?
yes, thank you leslie ann - and also the animal with a "y"... i am stumped
what is the first letter of that word "to join" as in holy matrimony that goes with the al?
hockey, the ET words: google this: "develop without chlorophyll by preventing exposure to sunlight" ....and the plural
it's u, mama
sorry temple, that's all i got
Oh wow, thanks for the google, I would've never gotten that. One more left!!!
thanks LeslieAnn!
hi mab
perhaps there are only 5 do5? anyone?
Done!!!!
temple try changing the last vowel on your do5 for sweet
Good job HockeyGuy!
ty woulfie - i have sweet with both vowels...
congrats, hockey guy!
yeah!!! hockey guy!!!!
Thank you for the great clues. I'm going to leave my computer for a few hours... relax my eyes, ya know? Need to rest up so I'm ready in 4 hours.
temple, do you have the one that is d + word for "to add up" minus the 1st letter?
sounds like hockeyguy is hooked!!!!!
yes thanks mon...
but I didn't!!!! Thanks mon!
ok temple..... are you missing do 5/16 or do 5/20 ?
Temple, by my count you have all the do 5's: 1) animal + es, 2) animal +ey, 3) sweet, 4) sweet, 5) the final amount, change first letter, and 6) plural of to pamper
well slap me with the cod of doh! finished!
woooo hoooooo temple! wtg!
hey woulfie - did you actually have any customers today?
i am having a duh moment on Fi 7/44... i just know it is easy.... help!
way yo go t-owl!!!
good job temple!
yo, ren? you HAVE been watching the mummers LOL
Well done, Temple!
no - it went off the air and i went to the store then started watching monk...8)
clues anyone? mon- not fact but fi***** - remove last 4 letters then add what is on the bathroom wall (ti4)
Oh BLAST! I doooo have the Fi 7/44... i checked off the wrong one...... it is FO 6/27 that I'm missing
erm clue for un10 pls?
renny - joking about your "yo" - i think it's one of the first words a philly baby learns : D
mon - what b vitamins are sing & plural...the acid is also in the grid but babble won't accept it...
UN 10 = three letter prefix as in "U**Bomber, + "remove dead skin, minus first two letters"
LOL t-owl - we learn oy... right mab!!!
mon - that remove dead skin clue is like your fo7 - remove the i
thanks mon got it :)
Okay, I've gotten it down to 100 to go but my dinner smells so fantastic I can't ignore it any longer. Off for brain food!
lol, ren!
bye, grifs - back to work so may not see you - good luck!
later grif!!!
thanks temple.... i am SUCH a dwebe..... I had the plural without the singular. sigh.
i should go, too - see everyone tomorrow!
mon - here's the pollock...
have a good dinner Griffs! and good nite Temple!!
ren, i just scanned over the posts and i thought yours said, "later, grid!" and i thought, whoa, she's developing quite an attachment here
nitey night, everyone!
sleep well Temple!!!!
Night Temple!
LOL leslieann....i do mistype - so i could have said grid and not grif !!!!
yo - nite t-owl!!!!!
oy, ren!
Well, I have 70 words left to find. Seems like a good round number to stop at!!!!
hail and hello to all.... back to work on my last 118 words LOL
hi blaze!!!!! Happy new Year!
Hi Blaze! Don't go yet mama, you're so close!
and to you and yours
i need help with UN 6/33 please
Damn, one letter away from being able to spell 'tmesis'.
doesn't feel so close, mab!
boa, if something's great you might say it's terr**** - put that ending on the un
whoops, i meant for moncrunchr. was still giggling over boa's post.
Thanks LeslieAnn -- would not have gotten that word.
got the UN from that clue Leslie....thanks! Eight more to go!
i am too thick tonight, i can not figure out the un 10 even with the clue. is there another, perhaps one at the first grade level for those of us who are not too swift?
thanks LA
first three letters same as ***cycle + a baby horse - a, + third vowel + what you did with your dinner
un 10 un* (together) (aluminum) (after dinner you have )
hi again everyone -- I had to disappear due to putting baby to bed -- sorry :)
how are you GW how is the mama....
grrrr i can't get it i am toooooo dumb to see it
And now that she is properly bathed, booked and bedded, I can properly greet everyone (*HUGS to all*)
*hugs back gw*
knitter the def: is : Having a single leaf.
Blaze -- the mama is doing well -- very tired and frustrated at her low energy levels, but otherwise well -- thanks for asking :)
I am I correct in remembering she only has less than 6 weeks to go...???
oh blaze ty ty ty, i was going the wrong way ... after dinner i have tea !!!!!AH please hit me with a big fish
UGH. I am missing one of the UN5/12 words. I have 'not illuminated', and the one before it with the last vowel changed, and the one meaning 'to join'.... what am i missing?
of course, now I have gone from having a baby in my lap to having a cat there -- makes typing tricky as she has a paw on my hand while I type :D
these un words are most unpleasant
mon - when you make dinner, you *** the table... when you are through, you un*** it.
thank you mama\
Yes you are, Blaze -- Feb 3rd is the big day -- that should be 'interesting' to say the least -- we're not sure how baby is going to respond to us taking mama to the hospital and then go home without her :)
a good plan is to have the mama take longer times away if possible.....with you or a great person in her care...
GW - will you be able to take some time off work when the baby is born?
Unfortunately, not a viable option, Blaze -- but Kristianna responds well to changes in her routine so long as Daddy is around so it should be OK -- getting her to sleep that night will be the trickiest part, but if I let her stay up a bit later it should all be good :)
ah my u's are in the grey .....
GW another good trick is have her cuddle with the mama's housecoat and talk lots to her about when mama is coming home.....
Wow! lots of long posts here -- sorry to all other players :) Mama -- I am taking a week off from work -- hopefully that will be enough -- I can take some more if I need to, but money will get veeeerrry tight if I do :)
Thanks for that advice, Blaze -- I will write that one down!
gw... will you be able to get paternity benefits... in Canada the unemployment system works that out..
Can someone give me a clue for fo 7 40 and fo 8 55. please.............
I could, Blaze but it counts as short term disability which is only around 60% of salary which would not let me meet my financial obligations -- Grandma is going to be around to help out so it should be OK
how many words today?
199
199
SueL -- when you use a deep skin cleanser you will exfo7 the skin
oh gw that's the best clue i've seen all day for that one
seul think trees and leaves and plural ending is when you are NOT on time
Let's see -- 100 to go, time to focus on finding some words ;)
Thanks, Leslie -- btw -- I've lost track -- was it you who loves Kenya (the animation)?
I think I'm going to give it up - have 63 to go but am so tired. This virus thing has really got me down. And tomorrow is my birthday - whoopee
that would be me, thanks to you i found the badgers invade kenya :)
mama take care of yourself and Happy birthday....
happy early birthday, mama!
We'll all make a big birthday wish for you to get better, MAMA!
And the next day, Jan 3rd, is my youngest daughter's birthday. Our "holidays" don't end until the 4th!!!!!
Leslie -- have you seen the Kenya Live at weebls? Some fans decided to act out the flash as best they could -- They did a good job!!
still can't find the fo 7 40 and the 8 55. I think I need the fish.
Take care, MamaBear and have a nice rest.
suel DEF: Having a specified kind or number of leaves:
suel, take your fo 4/7 (aluminum fo**) and switch the last two letters. then add what you did with your dinner (that was the best meal i ever ***!)
Mama - Rest and Fluids are the key to beating this virus -- so sleep well knowing that we all care for you and drink lots of juice and/or water :) (*HUG*)
Thanks for all the well wishes & early birthday wishes!!! I appreciate it..... maybe will see you sometime tomorrow. nite nite!
thanks GW..... you're a sweetie *kiss on cheek*
Lesleann Thank you so much........
Aaaww, shucks (*drags toe in dirt*) (*drawls*) Tweren't nothin' :)
Woooo Hooooooooo..... I am The Big Fat DONE Person! ....... 199/2772.
Yeah MON fire works for you #*!*****
mon, we won't have you talking that way about yourself, especially after such a big accomplishment.
Congrats, mon!!!!
great job mon
you're da mon, mon!
ty ty ty all..... (don't worry Leslie, my self esteem is fine.... at least NOW it is.... LOL)..... anyone need any clues before I go off to play online Spades? hehehe
(at least THERE a 'game' only takes 20 minutes instead of 10 hours.... but then, I'm still new to this one)
it does get easier, mon, especially when you start remembering the odd "Babble words" and don't have to look them up each time
It gets even easier than that, mon, when you stop worrying about finishing and just give your self over to the joy that is Babble ;D
You know, I think there is a book in there somewhere.... hmmmm.. "Zen and the Art of Babbling" What does everyone think?
I'd buy your book GW! :D
absolutely GW
GW, I have had a lot of fun today. I created a personal webpage that is stored on my hard drive, and put all my Babble links and resources and information on the game on the page; now I can load the single page into my browser, and everything is easily accessible.
down to 82 but must depart for a bit....
Sounds good, GW... there would have to be a chapter in there on "fish"...such as: One fish, Two fish, Red fish, Plural fish!
LOL mama
Angel -- now that is dedication to the game! I never would have thought to do that :)
woot! done! have just a few minutes for clues if anyone needs some
I hate flipping back and forth for things; now I don't have to; and I can update the page very easily using a text editor.
WTG! LeslieAnn! High five!
Yeah for Leslie!!!
Leslie -- check out both of these links and tell me what you think :) the first is a kenya inspired santa flash, the other is kenya live http://www.weebls-stuff. com/testy/AdventCalendar/day19 .html http://www.weebls-stuff .com/toons/kenya+live/
aknitter your not alone i can't get it either.
burp... I mean, woof oof oof *griffums waddles from dinner table back to grid*
HI Griff!! (*hug*) eatin' and Babblin' here :D
oy, I *really* need that NY's resolution now...and I haven't had dessert yet either (but I'm gonna)
LOL, Griff -- my place if filled with desserts right now -- tastycake product was on sale at the market -- we still have a bunch of stuff that Kirsten baked last week.... and her mother brought over a banana bread today!!
Ooooh, Tastykakes! (They don't sell them here) Years (too many) years ago I used to babysit for a player of the Redskins, and marveled because sponsor Tastykake delivered like a hundred new boxes to their house every week. Mmmmemories. Okay back to grid.
Griff -- if you ever want any, just e-mail me ;)
I'll remember that!
GW, holy crap santa!
Isn't he cute, Leslie?
i had seen the live one before, but not the santa one. that is great. (still better than norway). have you ever been to homestarrunner.com? same kind of humor.
Haven't been to HSR in awhile, but yes :) Found santa because of Kristianna and immediately thought of you ;D
awwwwight you have good taste
Thanks Leslie -- but I don't have one of the to4/7's -- I have the homestead, what's the other?
like a hot to***, take out a d
Thanks!
GW, a alcohlic drink served HOT, minus one middle letter
my posts are just tooooo slow.....LOL
Happens to all of us at one time or another, mon -- Thanks! :D
Hey all.. back for my final 21, hopefully I can finish today!
I don't believe that the to5/12 and 6/21 were the last to's I found!!! After all I am the (almost) shaman here!! :D
I found those early on but then up here, you can't throw a rock without hitting one of those poles... :)
Hi Jera -- how was the train trip? (I haven't seen you in awhile :) )
GW: lol that was the last 2 TO i found too... it was just hiding thats all :)
hi all HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy New Year Jeff!!!!
oh well im done... damn now i have to actually do some work *sigh* kinda itching to treat myself to a pro account *counts the pennies*
mica -- it is definitely worth it!! I had to count my pennies too and did it as soon as I could :)
After all, icon shopping is soooo much fun !! ;D
Oh, GW, it was horrible!! We were the last ones on the train & had to sit near the doors & we nearly froze... it was bad. The car was full & there weren't three seats together, so we all sat in 2 seats (which really wasn't bad), so I'll be getting some money back. 3 hour delay, the last one of which was spent one freakin' mile from the station. I could've walked there in the amount of time we spent just waiting... I had to sit down & cry once we finally got the heck offa there!!
lol yeah i know its the lure of the icons >: )
that's the way it is, mica... you get a little of the free taste and now you're hooked....
OH, Jera!!! I am so sorry to hear that!! (*Big HUG*) Hopefully the rest of the holidays helped to alleviate the stress from the trip :)
lol griff, i like to think that i have a strong will power.. *cough*yeahright*cough*
Good Evening all, getting a late start
I'd like to think that I'd get a kickback for standing over here against the chainlink fence beckoning you into the darkness, but alas, I don't.
Thanks *snuffles into GW's shoulder* The rest was pretty good... the kids had a blast running wild with dozens of cousins & there was even a brand-new 2 month old baby cousin!! It was kinda sad that I didn't get to visit much with my mother-in-law, my F-I-L is pretty feeble, just had another knee surgery & can't do much on his own. Caring for him is pretty time consuming!
mica -- (*spooky voice*) -- the icons are calling.... they want you to shop for them... you can not resist the icons....
lol GW i think i'm gonna hold out till i get paid from my holiday job... expecting some pennies to be rollin' in next month
72 wds to go in two hours, by gummies I think I can get this done even if I stop for dessert!
(*normal voice as if nothing is going on*) Well, that's all right then, in'nit? :D
$9.95USD is about $17SGD hmmmmm
griff, u can do it :D I started 2 hours ago and i finished 15min ago
Griff -- I have 72 to go as well!! Wouldn't it be really weird if they were the same ones? ;D
yes mica, but to us it only makes half as much sense, so you're even
That would in fact be REALLY weird. Mica, you are too smart, too fast, too much!
(dessert is Starbucks java chip with Luna Mocha liqueur - that chocolate tequila stuff? - on top) maybe I'll just go get the carton... and the bottle
Baaaad pun, Griffums!!!!!
Well, what shall we do to celebrate my birthday tomorrow?? A 300 word puzzle, but all the words are really easy would be nice...
Jera -- Happy Birthday in advance -- It's Mamabears B-day as well!
Wow, how cool! Shoulda known she was a fellow Cappy...
Yep --- though she is currently seriously hit by a virus, so any good vibes you can send her way would be appreciated ;)
griff: oh bleh I've seen you guys finish the puzzle when i've spent hours and not even half way there you guys are my inspiration ;)
Griff -- you are having THAT for dessert and you call mica too much!?! (LOL)
You think she would mind my lighting a candle for her?
er, well, yeah...and if I told you what I had for dinner you'd fire me! I might have to send in a designated eater!
Jera -- I am sure she would welcome it :)
haaa mica, that made me laugh right out loud! Griffums the Inspira........ splutter, nope I can't even say it
Now you have to tell, Griff -- what was dinner?
*angelic look* ok think i better quietly sneak away before i draw too much attention to myself again ;) BUT YES GRIFFFFFFF Inspire away! ;)
oh, baby, it was sooooooo good. Rib steak and mushrooms done in a pan with butter and red wine reduction, oven roasted potatoes with thyme and parsley, peas that I picked from my friend Becky's garden this summer. And lots of all of it. And Alaskan Winter Ale (spruce-tip brew, it's YUMMO) to fill in the few remaining gaps. Gosh, I love living alone and being the only person to eat all the food.... mmmmmmmph oof
mica -- I know how you feel re:being inspired -- I usually am only just past half finished when others announce completion --- that's the only reason why I love the little grids -- I am usually one of the first ones done :D
speaking of inspiration - my goal tonight is to get my list below 100 needed words. . . .I'm taking this challenge in strides! I'm 4 away. any hints for the a words?
I have 3 to go... could someone toss me some hints for the al7/32 & the gi5/18 while I noodle on the un10??? TIA! (any help will be joyfully reciprocated!!)
Sorry I'm working backward through the alpha so am no help on A's yet...
oh my goodness. That sounds sooo good.
i'll show you mine if you show me yours
hn;kjvhbsp ghn b;/hjsbh;fhnjkb;bjkb Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard... Griff, if you ever come to visit, you have to cook at least one meal like that for me
No problem but it's so easy anyone could do it. (I don't cook anything that takes time or attention!)
I have 9 to go, and am just not sure I can do it... I can't seem to get these last ones... The al 7 is on my list too, Jera, but the gi 5 is a leg of lamb if that helps
al + a joining together of a couple.
So what? -- I just like having other people cook for me :)
yes, well, there IS that :))))
I will look around with that clue, circe, LMK if I can help!! What are you stuck on?
thanks sue!
suel...I think you gave that clue earlier... Why can't I get it still??? :(
both the ae's and the of 6.....
al + the name of an airlines that starts with un (drop the last letter)
circe -- al + un5/12 (the 1st one)
into the F's and just found that pest of ours, GW
al + the first un 5 12
oh....thanks GW (nobody has that fish out do they??)
haven't hit the F's seriously Griff, thanks -- got the little bugger!
and thanks to Maggie and suel too!
lu6/27?
oooh oooh I"m one away from my goal. any help with the g word?
The ae's are weird... have to do with rust fungus... I suggest a2z...
extension of lu 4/7 and lu 5/16, gw
lu 6 is a plurla of lu 5, add on to the lu 4 / 7 above it GW
That's what I'm stuck on, too, maggie
What g are you stuck on?
All I need is the gi5/18...
gi 5 is gi + first letter +to reversed
i'm looking at the stats here on this page. one column says i have no g's and the other column says I have 8 of 12
gi 5/18 = common anagram in computers for what you get if you put 'junk' in... plus T at the end (I'll see if I can come up with a better one)
thank you -- I had 1st and 4th lu, not 1st and 2nd! ...and so the mists beging to clear.... :)
My missing one is from the far right column if that helps anyone help me...
Whoo-hoo! *happy dance of doneness*
I tried that computer term more than once... couldn't believe it wasn't valid...
yay jera!
alright, I've reached my goal with 199 words! Set your sites low like me and you too can be through! Thanks for the fun and goodnight
Funny how one clue works right away & another is clear as a bell to some but makes you feel like an idiot... we all have our specialties, this game is truly a group effort!!
Now THAT's an inspiration! (mica are you paying attention!) 'Night maggie
Morning all, Have I missed any clues for the le6 & 7?
Hi Everyone. Been working trying to solve the puzzle for a few. Had a good day, went to the movie "Rumor has it". Jennifer Anistan did a great job, but Shirley McLaine stoled the show. Shirley is great. Good show, go see it everyone, if you like comedies.
Huzzah for maggie!! *throws confetti as she dances*
maggie -- it''s all about being happy with what you've got :) Yayyy! for maggigirl!!!!
Hi JoJo!!! (*hug*)
Ishult, they have to do with plant protein...
sorry, i'm no biologist, especially this soon after waking up?!!
Okay, it's le + consonant + ti4/4 ( the plural one)
Hi GW. *hug*. Going to click off in a few minutes. I have to watch my most favorite show on TV. Desperate Housewives, it is new tonite.
ish -- le plus three-letter metal t**, and put a c in the middle.
That would be the 7, Ishult, the 6 would not be plural
much better, ty
finally! This was a hard one for me I guess. Anyone need any clues before i head to bed??
I wasn't sure if giving away the c would be too big of a hint... I'm not good at hints... but I love to help! *ponders her Babble dilema*
first fo 4/7 clue please?
Huzzah for circe (love that name, btw)! *throws more confetti*
Babs - baby horse
Babs A young horse...
also one of the first 2 fi 4/7's
ty Jera Few recognize the name.... :)
dang...I was looking and monkey typing like mad...what silliness! Thanks!
Jera -- you do good at giving clues! Don't be so hard on yourself
Babs1... first one is a car, second one is f + frozen water...
circe -- Jera and I would have to be thrown out of the club if we didn't recognise the name ;D
how about li6/24 & li7/28?
I know my wicked witches, circe! ;> ty, GW... it's a mom thing, I guess...
aw...thank you both! GW is right, you give great clues Jera...
sorry..I did have those..thought I still needed fi's ..must be the fo's...will look next
For some reason the words with O in them were elusive... then you turn your head & squint to see them & say, "Why didn't I see that before??"
li 7/28 li + to 5/10
ah..it's one of the fl 4/7 have the one that is for fizzy water where the fizz is gone
li 6/24 is an alternate spelling of a girls name.. Maybe Jera or GW have a better clue?
Working in the li's myself, circe -- thanks for the 7 -- don't have the 6 yet
li 6/24 - part of a old-time textile blend called li - woolsey
Babs1, you'll need the fish... think pet parasite (a collar repels)
*gulping the fish* no time for pride here since I'm trying to finish before all my hair is pulled out!
No worries, Babs1, we're all all too familiar with the fish!!
Besides -- I think sprite still has the fish since she took it away from me to keep me from hurting myself :)
hint for of6 please?
next potential fish...fo 5/24
okay...think I am heading to bed..two late nights in a row...I'll pay for this tomorrow! HUGS Have a good night everyone
mab - most frequent
circe -- congrats on finishing again -- have a restful slumber :) (*Hug*)
babs, when we were kids we thought of our ancient relatives as old fo....'s
If someone is no fun, always telling the kids to turn down the music, you might say he's an old fo***
(babs, same word appears as fo 4/11 in alt spelling)
Nite, circe, sweet dreams! Come back tomorrow!
Thanks Griff. How about go6? Night circe.
mab - defends an important place on the hockey rink
ty GW, (really gone now) good luck and see you all tomorrow!
Or soccer... position my daughter plays (I'm sure that helps loads)!
ta griff.
yw
of6= of+ t4/4 Found li7, but the 6 still escapes me?
Ishult -- li - woolsey.
lshult - the li6 builds off the li4/4 -- add vowel and consonant
second call for 5/24, por favor?
What 5/24, Babs (sorry I didn't see first call)??
We both responded to the first call, Jera... I don't know another clue for that word tho.
Are you still looking for the fo5/24, Babs? The old no fun person clues didn't work for you?
Babs -- think in terms of bad weather -- but spelt wrong -- a very fo*** day --- need a special horn to protect ships at sea
add a vowel to the fo4/7
yeah instead of the double consonant, sub with a vowel like do 5/20
Hmmm, okay, here's another go... think of a weather occurrance that looks like smoke... fo*** weather where you need the lighthouse... drop second of the doubled consonant & replace it with an e.
in the fo***, fo*** dew.....
And you said you were bad at giving clues! :D
I was pretty on for that one, but totally at a loss for the li6... guess I blow hot & cold, LOL
brandyjack swoops in with simplicity...
fo6/27?
thanks, brandy jack...spelling threw me on that one...
It's related to a vitamin pregnant women need... fo + not early (la4/4)
GW fo+ opp of early
Hey, guess what, everybody...?
Thank you! Keep this up and we will award you a master clue giver badge!
Happy Birthday. Jera!!!

Uh oh -- what's up Griff?
whoo hooooooo GW! (I'm proud of you AND of me..... gotta be able to HELP here too, or not very fun)....
Sorry to hear that griffums! need any shoulders?
Oh, I'm fine but my friend isn't - father in law had massive stroke at the dinner table tonight and won't be coming back to us. I had dinner with them last weekend and he was lucid and I'm glad I got to talk with him.
I had a lot of help Griff -- couldn't have done it without my loyal fans (*turns and bows to all*) :D
oh griff that is sad.... your friend will need you and your great shoulders.....
anyone need anymore last minute clues?
si 7 please (())
Griff..... sorry about your sad news. Not an easy thing anytime but esp. on New Year's Day
griffums...it sounds pretty permanent? we've been able to help people with strokes...any chance?
Yes, it's sad. He was very well known in this community and across the state, in business and politics. He'll be missed. They're trying to call back the various children and gather the family and then let him go.
si 7 - to make a veiled comment is to insi--
That stinks Griff... we had a similar occurence last year --- key difference though -- the friend of the family that stroked out, did so in her home where she lived alone -- she was discovered at her breakfast table when people got worried about her at her job
when you make a statement that invites reading between the lines for some nasty slander, you are said to insi***** something...
si 7 usually has in as beginning letters... in + bad deed + last vowel + past tense for eat
si 7.... if you put "in" before it, it becomes accusatory implication......does that help?
No, he's got nothing left, babs. Thanks. (stopping chat while others have only a few min to finish)
need any more blaze?
ni***-keen. definitely not a word I expected to be valid.....
aaaarrrrrRRRRRGGGHHHHHH! 5 minutes left 23 words, all t's & l's so close, yet so far!
I stayed off the log the WHOLE DAY, and still couldn't finish in time. Dang it!
75 words, 4 minutes. Don't think so Fred....
JB: Really close DOES count!!!
BUT! I'm doing the dance with all the finishers tonight - YAY for you all!
any you'd at least like to cross off your list?
Brandy, I gotta ask... if you wrote the program to get us our stats, how is it that you don't also get the actual words at the same time?
Thanks, Griff, I know, but still (grumph, grumph) (sorry for your sad news, my FIL had a stroke in June 05 and is not well, not returned to self-function)
JB -- You did great!!! (*HUG*) Yayyyy! for Everybody for Babbling the Good Babble!!!!!
Oh, Grey, you make me laugh! {{{{HUG}}}
It's good to have a goal, so I'm going to be the first poster on the next puzzle. Ready, go!
Then it's all good, JB ;D (((JB)))
