HI!
Happy New Year, Day #2!
First post!
jb you did it....
It's good to have a goal that is attainable!!!
As a matter of fact I do have to cut and past the entire list of words into a file tht then resides on my hard drive. I don't peek at my xmas presents either. Sometimes I do manage to remember the first and last words of the puzzle, but not usually.....
Thanks, Blaze, I've been practicing my "flips" while on vacation this week!
3 S's..... OMG, there must be 600 words... LOL
BrandyJack, I was wondering about that, thanks for clearing up the mystery.
only 229 on this one.
JB -- I've said it before -- the big accomplishments are nothing but a bunch of little goals stacked on top of each other --- so Yayyy for you again!
Hey all... think I will wait to see how many words there are and then decide...to have another chocolate tequila
well shoot, in that case I can have tequila AND babble
Stats are up in both places, refresh to see them. 229 words.
I'll take the chocolate, Griff! and give you back the tequila (non-drinker here). Anything with chocolate in it must be a good thing (excepting insects!)
chocalate tequila???
hmmm that reminds me I have chocolate hidden somewhere... be right back

Good Evening, Everyone thank you, Brandyjack

Good Morning everyone!
BrandyJack, here's how I use the stats list: 1. copy and paste to a Word template 2. type in the grid on my table on the template 3. print the page(s), and the first page of the grid I need to see it in front of me on paper, so I can scribble words, and take it AFK if needed. It's made my Babbling that much more fun!

Good Luck Griff -- see you tomorrow! (*Hug*)
ok, debs...what's your secret..how do you unearth the long ones so easily??? inquiring minds want to know! ;)
those e's are wonderful words...
morning/ nite y'all- can't keep up with the time zones- sorry
I can usually get the 4 & 5 words but the long ones avoid me .... I think I need new lenses for my glasses with ""long veiw"" LOL
hi , all!
Just look for smaller words and see if poss to make em bigger......no big secret....lol
beebee -- I just speak in reference to my personal frame of reference -- save me a lot of headaches :) Same way I wish people Merry Xmas -- I am wishing the blessings of my holiday upon them-- It doesn't matter if it is theirholiday, it is my frame of reference and thus still a positive thing :)
Hi Temple -- missed you before, cos I was putting my daughter to bed :)
gw- great advice- thax
hey temple
wondering how many words people are up to? I always feel a bit slower than most of the people on this board.. i'm at 58 now
43 here
same here Babs :)
62 here
90 here
thanks...I don't feel so bad! slowing down though
a whole 8- don't be jealous lol
f7/40
95 here, but nothing bigger than a 6 yet.
I'm under 20 words, so I win the PLODDER award! Going to bed, all, so thanks for all your good wishes, help, support, laughs, and most important, CLUES! See you after a few hours of sleep! [exit, stage left -thanks, Snagglepuss! I LOVE that line!- blowing kisses, returning hugs] offstage "Goodnight"

Have the 9 and 3 8's -- all ep's -- which 8 am I missing?
tw/8
T8/65
t 8/65
F7/40 A7/44 and I so much want to make worship.
sorry I asked!!!!!!
Why sorry?
tw 7 and 8 I could actually use those words daily... tw*** food in the fridge now there is not.....
LOL
The tw just won't come to mind -- common as it may be!
tw 4. plus so 4
It's not what that cowboy in the song is.
ah -- a scottish beginning!
Aye! (Ywis, as a babble player would say)
thank you, all
You are so very welcome....
However, I am still confused -- got the start but can't seem to follow through...
Some of the usual suspects are in this grid again... the little nasty ones. So far I found H4, O4 x 2, N4, P4 x 4
how many words today?
gw so 4/5
229
Woulf, if that cowboy in that song would get company of another one, he could use this word in the same song :)
Ah! -- got it now :)
and now I have the 8's and 9 :)
omg.. ty i will never get all the words ever in this game..
You will, Bami. Just hang on and keep playing :)
Bamis -- sure you will! That's part of why we are here :)
well done blaze -- I'm only at 138 and heading for bj's list.
sprite - you want worship to be there and I keep seeing township! ;D
I must bid you farewell for now. Got a friend staying, which is great, but the babbling must be kept to a minimum ;) Sorry for rushing through the grid like this. Good hunting to all of you and hugs for who wants them. *big warm hug for Woulf*
Oooohh, townships would have been SO nice a word :)
(*Big Hug for sprite*) Have a great day with your friend!
a 7/44?
We are about to have a great day. Kids are free from school. We go see Harry Potter 4 this afternoon, and after that we go out for dinner at the restaurant I have been going to since I was 6. :) Feels more like family than as a restaurant, but the food is Israelian, which I cannot cook myself :D
i have 91 and i thought i was doing well... only 138 to go!!!
Sprite, I'm going with my girls to see Harry Potter too this afternoon!
Bamis, you are doing great! It's just that there are so many words in this grid that we have seen here dozens of times before - what I call experience, and most nonbabble people call addiction ;)
sprite - sounds great! The movie was very good, and I wish I could try the restaurant :)
If you ever cross the big waters, please do come by. We will take you there!
Hugs, that is such a nice idea, to know we will both enjoy HP! Have fun with them!
Bamis -- don't try to judge yourself by how others do, that way lies frustration and disappointment -- believe me, I know! The pleasure of the game derives from YOUR personal achievements, not those of other people! You are doing great!!!!
Thanks, you enjoy too. My litle one and I went to see it last night, but it was sold out, so we ended up seeing Narnia... which I thoroughly enjoyed too.
may i have a clue for the nine please?
Narnia is the one I hope to see before my son is born, but the gods of busy schedules seem to be conspiring against me...
bye sprite- have fun
narnia is great...very magical! Just saw Pride and Prejudice for second time..also very enjoyable...great music and acting and scenes!
bye, sprite!
temple- did you need the a7?
Temple -- if you have the othere ep7/36 & 8/50 combo, just add a consonant in the middle to get the 8 & 9 the singular forms end in so4/5
a7-Nearest the stern ep8/50 The region between the antennae and the mouth, in Crustacea ep9 make 8 plural
ty, woulfie - no i did not so now i have four more words!
make that 5, thanks to beebee!
Yw -- and in response to your question of earlier that I missed -- we had a whole 3 sales today at Lenscrafters -- the entire mall was pretty dead!
Well, folks... I think I'll save the rest for later... goodnight all and sleep well. *hugs*
G'nite Hugs (((*HUG*)))
bye, hugs!
omg - so late! and 60 left...i must go! don't know how i'll ever get back into work mode...
Sorry to see you go, Temple -- see you later!
bye, everyone! happy babbling!
bye temple -- i want two more words, then I'm quitting for the night.
eo 5?
eo plus very bad thing..... (biblical)
Thanks, Blaze
y/w how far along are you with this one??
sp6/21?
sorry hockey guy I am nowhere near that far along///
I'm just over half... I just skip around the letters, but that's my last s so I'm trying to finish it.
hi everyone!
Hi.
oh dam it have to go!
Heh. Ok, bye.
hockey guy sounds like spies change vowels and vowel at end...
Wow. Awesome thanks!
Thank you as well, Blaze :)
you are all very welcome
GW... non babble question.... my lenses never stay clean.. I use a good cleaner but...?? is there something else I can do to keep them clean...??
Only 2 T's left now, both being the 7 and 8 Tws.
What type of cleaner and cloth do you use? Also, do you have an anti glare coating?
I have anti glare yes.... I use an opitical brand cleaner and a regular towel...
HG two words tw 4 + so 4
Anti glare is harder to keep clean than standard lenses due to it's nature -- they have come out with a much better antiglare coating that works to repel dirt much better -- its been out for only a few months
However, try getting a microfiber cloth or else use a clean cotton t-shirt rag to clean the lenses -- that may reduce number of times you need to desmudge the lenses :)
hmmm that is great to hear .... but my wallet can not put out that money for new lenses right now... I will keep that in mind and just keep cleaning the darn things... I have transitions too....
Thanks for that too!
microfibre cloth.... I will track one down this week..
The transitions has nothing to do with the smudge factor -- though I always suggest having a pair of dedicated prescription sunglasses is a good thing just because transitions lens don't get as dark thus promoting eye fatigue on bright days
200 -- seems a good place to quit for the night. Talk to you tomorrow if you're around.
gw... I would agree... although I do find my transitions very good.... especially with the bifocals....(lineless).... I will look into dedicated sunglasses...especially if I can get glasses this year... a 2.1 deal of some kind... at 400 plus a pair it is not too likely I will pay for two pairs
Good night Nan....... see you tomorrow
A fabric called moleskin works well for cleaning glasses as well.
thanks nan
Blaze -- just so you know -- I get certificates that I can give to friends which entitle them to a 50% dicount at any Lenscrafters location -- is there one near you?
Blaze -- meant to ask "Is that a 'blaze of glory' on your icon?
C-nan -- no one ever suggested moleskin to me before, but thinking on it you are right :) G'nite and see you tomorrow! (*Hug*)
gw yes there is but I doubt that it would be okay in Canada if it is from the USA.... trans border and all that
Stopping at 185 for today. Night everyone.
Of Nan you say the nicest things... (( blush))
good nite hockey guy
Blaze -- the company is all one and the same -- it is actually owned by an Italian company, Luxottica, at this point --- so the certificates are valid there --- if you want one, send me an email and I will mail it to you :)
Have a good night, everyone!
Pleasant Dreams, c-nan!
my server was uppity for a few minutes.... I am back now...
Well, it is time for me to go to sleep -- Baby will be up in about 4 hours -- I don't want to be too much of a groump cos I'm tired --- See you tomorrow night, Blaze!
GW good night and big thanks (()) you have mail.....
Good morning all how many words today please?
And don't forget to email me -- address is in my bio -- If you want I can send you two certificates -- I never use them all every year so I would be more than happy to! :D
mari 229
Bye Blaze -- didn't see your post ;) (((**HUG**)))
Thanks
my s's are finally greyed... yahoo... only 64 to go...
Hi All - belated happy new year to all my fellow Babblers.
Happy new year Dianne.... hope all is well with you
Hi Blaze - all good with me. Did you have a fun new year's?
absolutely....
Do you have the F7? I can't get it no matter what.
sorry not even close to the f's yet
Blaze - lucky me - I got the F7 :)
Bye for now - time to start cooking.

hi blaze fa/7 ,more than one heavy person. hope that helps

bubbles thank you thank you thankyou... another babblelnian word....
yw blaze glad to help
I have 16 l's left but must get some sleep... they will keep until morning... anyone need clues before I go.??
I've just got started so it would be cruel to ask for clues! Sleep well.
good night Haz.... see you again soon
Anyone know why I can't have shinto?
Possibly 'cos it's a proper name?
My dictionary shows it as an adjective
Frances Babble uses enable dictionary words only... ask Dr. G about it... what does it mean ??
HI all...only words allowed are the ones found in whichever dictionary babble uses...
there are a lot of words that do not figure in the dictionalry behind the grid. Hi Blaze Happy New YEar. Shinto is a religion
adj : relating to or characteristic of Shintoism
Hi tbear (((hugs))) Happy 2006, did you have a good NYEve
Hi, everyone! I am getting an earlier start today.
Happy new year to you and yours....... hope all is well with you... only one word to go... now I need to go back and see which L i need
Fmitch....gr8 thankyou....yest helped out at pub too and Lola and Anj came over again....we had a real nice time, and they won £10 on the quiz machine....Yay
You are doing well then Blaze, I still have 81 to find.
Hi peri and blaze.....bear hugs all round
all done first in 2006 to complete... yeah... I will be here for a bit... waiting for heartburn to settle down.... any clues needed...??
hello ((peri))
Hi tbear, (((((((tbear))))) Actually ((((((((((everyone))))))) Hi there Blaze. Have been home the past 3 weeks with a torn meniscus in my left knee and have spent most of my time playing Babble. Still home, another Dr., appt tomorrow. Have really gotten better with the game tho.
Congrats to you Blaze!!!
og Periwinkle ((hugs)) and get well soon....
GreyWoulf, you still around?
I think he is off to bed
Actually doing well, not too much pain. And I don't miss work at all!!!
Peri.... a bad day of babble is better than any day at work LOL
Oh Blaze, you got the babble bug so bad!!!! LOL
Wish I could get paid playing BAbble, now wouldn't that be nice 8)
Blaze, have you seen Baggo online recently? I haven't seen her here for ages now.
Fmitch.... no I have not seen her on for awhile either....
Has L7/36 been mentioned
ooooo, am just working the l's now!
and a L7/32
Hello all...I know you're busy babbling but I wanted to say hi :)
And Joelgee has also been strangely absent...have just e-mailed him???
Hiya Missy
Hi Missyme.
Hello Missy me
Hey tbear :) Some of the words in this puzzle today are cwazy I have no clue what they are!
Hi Blaze :)
But funny, I finished this one hours before I finished yesterdays and this one is longer. I think yesterday's was much harder...especially those r's
my favorite words in todays grid so far are the 6 x e that come out of the top right hand corner as they will give you a 9 3x8 and 2x7
Mitch...I agree...those were fun to find :) Something satisfying about typing in a long word and watching it being accepted
i want episode,,,,,,
lol tbear...now I'm seeing that one! Someone wondered earlier why shinto wasn't accepted. I curious too
I'm sure 'isolate' is there if I keep putting it in often enough :)
Oh god, Chessy...same here. It has to be there but I don't have any words left..maybe its a hidden bonus word :)
my hidden bonus word is good nite to all....
Blaze good night :) I'm headed out too if no one needs any clues. :)
Bye Blaze, see you again soon!
Chessy...I typed in "late" a bunch of times every time I tried to put in a word with "late" as the root. It finally sunk in there were not "late" words
MissyMe - I have just been doing the exact same thing, can't believe it's not thre :)
strange how the eyes play trix :)
Oh how frustrated you get when you see that one letter you need just one letter beyond it. lol
FMitch, I found an e6 and e/7 using the e in the upper right hand corner but can't seem to find anything else.
Wrong, I found an e7 and e/8 so far using the e in the upper right hand corner
are they the ones to do with letters and the Bible?
The next ones are what Paul wrote to the church...letters called ep******...
Yes re letters anyway
Did you get so4/5 yet? That will help to build the next ones
any clues for the af7
no so4/5 yet
the other 4 all use the same 1st 3 letters - for the 1st pair 7 & 8 add your so4/5 and pl then for the other pai play around with the spelling.
is the so4/5 a common word, just can't see it
af7/44 Farthest part of ship af* + mo4/5 (the fourth mo4/5 on list)
Famous line from Oliver "I want so** more"
thanks missyme
Peri....would you like so** tea
k ep + first person singular + that common word
so**where over the rainbow.....skies are blue
thanks everyone, I did have the so4/5 and just found two more words. Will keep looking
Yw :)
Righ, back to the L's, still got 12 to find.
Dorothy says....you're welcome
found 2 8's and 2' 7's starting with ep but no 9 yet
add a consonant between the s & o
FMitch, thanks so much
You're welcome peri.
there's another ep 8 and 9 (plural) it's spelled like ep7/36 but you stick a "t" right in that common word
Can't find the at4 words or the at5
peri.....think particles
tbear, For goodness sakes, I always have trouble finding that word, don't know why thanks
up to 106 time for a break see you later
Every now and again i jump outta my skin as one of the balloons from my birthday gathering explodes....it's like new years all over again....OOOHHHHH please NOOOOO I'm so tired and all partied out
"Al**, poor Yorick, I knew him well" the al above you drop the last letter in word above and add a vowel
next one is stout drinks
there there tbear!
next one is word for a low female singing voice
tbear I'd be putting the balloons outside. Exploding balloons have always scared me
Thx Fmitch....keep making soothing noises until i drop off....and take the rest of the balloons into the jardin,s'il vous plait.......B*A*N*G
the next al4/4 is a tone in the octave...(plural)
*gathers up all the offending articles and takes them to the bottom of the garden, and leaps up and down on them all with glee*
*plugs her ears*
All gone tbear. *passes tbear a sachet of resolve*
is that like a "tome of renewel" or a "sword of great smiting"?
LOL MissyMe - allegedly it's an after partying too much pick-me-up.
oh..lol I've played online RPG's for waaaay too long. :)
ROFL
Mitch did you get the second fe4/8 yet? If you did, have you ever seen a sillier word? :D
stumbles to kitchen for a glass of water to dissolve the resolve HAHAHAHAHAHhahahahahahah AAAAGGGGgggghhhhh
haven't really worked on the f's yet MissyMe only got 4 so far but will keep an eye out when I get to them.
*puts a bunch of pillows under tbear so she doesn't hurt herself*
*duct taping bubble wrap to every surface in the room*
There! Babble has been bubblized!
Awwww Missy and Fmitch....thank goodness for friends.Joel looked after me well when I was poorly, but like all men disappears when there's real work to be done....snuggles down into the pillows sipping dissolved resolve (I love those two words)...smiling a weak, tired but grateful smile...
SO.....what times the next party.......sshhhhh
tbear My husband cracks me up sometimes. While working under his car he will yell for me to hand him a tool which happens to be not even two inches from his hand. lol
tbear do we need an excuse for one?
LOL glutton for punishment eh?
Well I used to run into the garage and hand him his tool. Now I saunter in and say...wow...its right by your hand and then just stand there lol
Husbands, you gotta love 'em. I had one once, and that was enough.
That's boys for you....a bit like teenagers who stand in the doorway shouting,'Mum,I can't find it' without even having looked and expecting 'it' to jump from wherever 'it' is hiding and straight into their arms...
lol Fmitch :) I still have the same one...I decided not to turn him in for another...that would just be reduntant
tbear...oh yeah I had two boys and my husband all yelling that over the years and not one of them even looked first I started to call myself :The Great Momdini...watch her produce missing objects out of thin air..."
could someone pleeze give me a clue 4 the fa-7-40
If you got the fa5/16 you add a plural form to get fa7/40. The plural form has an "e" in it
thank u missyme
You're welcome :)
any clues for the mo6 please, starting to flag now with only 38 left to find.
argh, found it and the 7
Happy New Year everyone, mitch mo6 is Shakespeare, the fool would be dressed in this
thanks ferrari, happy 2006 to you too.
cool guys...just heard from Joelgee....live and kicking and being disciplined with regards to Babble.....sensible man...he'll be back as and when....Yay
thats good to hear tbear.
discipline, what's that?
that's when your SO locks your computer in the closet so you can't Babble.
Is that why I keep seeing fettish in this grid?
LOL... yup.
yea! discipline and play babble all in the same sentence... nah!!
sounds terrible
haHAhaHAhaHAaaaaa
distinct overtones of s and m, aaagh
Frances...I wanted soooo much to use those double t's but it just wouldn't happen for me
talk about multi-tasking...trying to eat fried egss on camenbert on toast whilst babbling, chat logging, answer the phone and leaning over the cat who is lying on my lap/stomach.....
Hi MissyMe I don't think I have a fettish - well maybe cricket(!) but it just keeps jumping out at me
lol Frances and hello :D
Frances...you're amongst friends here....come on spill the beans....
Hi tbear. No great shakes really. I just happen to be a cricket scorer. Wonderful, just me and twenty four men - if you count the umpires.
I think I may be forming a fettish. I get this satisfying, stimulating feeling when I type in a Babble word and it's accepted...
Frances,if you need someone to mop sweaty brows on a hot summers day...give me a shout...that'll be 12 each then!! to tend to I mean.....somebody give me some valium pls
Think I'm in for a fun year...have started it like a puppy...very frisky...hahahahahahahaha
*Hands her and Valium and keeps all the Demerol for herself*
or is it bromide???
LOL tbear, think it's the bromide you mean. but what the heck - go for it girl!
just spent 10 minutes trying to find an L word when I've already got them all
tbear Think it will have to be bromide if your round my lot. Some of them are very tasty!
ferrari lol
Yeeee Haaaaaa slapping thigh in a Doris Day Calamity Jane kinda way.....Whip crackaway, whip crackaway, whip crackaway.....Take me back to the black hills the black hills of Dakota.....SHUT UP tbear....
Valium is for zoning out...Demerol should be put in the water systems of the world...it's what I call the "love medicine"
does bromide have the same effect on women as on men?
tbear second thought. Perhaps valium would come in handy right now
*taps her foot to tbear's madness* Catchy...
tbear, was that water you disolved your resolve in or was it wine?
Missy...ask Lola or Anj bout just how 'mad' I am......controlled but 'mad' none the less.....think I got my mothers share of fun and frivolity...she's become very Victorian of late!!
fmitch don't slow her down...The way energy prices are nowadays we can tap into hers and make a bundle
MissyMe Love it
Fmitch I thought vodka would be better......Only kidding tea and biscuits going down nicely
Good thinking Missy! woohoo only 22 left to find!
Crazy people are never bored...and they're never lonely....the voices will always keep them company :)
Alright Fmitch :) Go go go!
And when the voices stop you can talk to the cats or whistle a happy tune........I was kaiser Bills batman...springs to mind
your'e right missy, is it different for others then, how strange, shakes head in wonder
*tries to whistle the electronic music in the movie Forbidden Planet*
*flings her arms around like Robbie the Robot*
ferrari...see you in Bedlam then!! Mine's the corner with the giant invisble spiders....ha
*starts concentrating and producing an ID monster*
I'll join you then, I have many friends who are spiders
Bedlam is right next to Incognito, right? Or is it Incoherent? I can never remember...
Missy you alright there honey?
Anyone coming new to babble right now, would read this lot and run for the hills......fast
Wha???? Uhhh??? Oh...I'm...yeah, I'm fine...just a feeling a little spacy...
where as tbear is feeling a little bit spicy! LOL
tbear I thought that was where babble was......in the hills
Bedlams next to Mayhem, they're my sister's beautiful cats
It won't do em any good...we own the hills too :D
You guys are cracking me up.......really
well, here's some pollyfiller then.
ferrari Those a great names! My sister actually named her cat "sh**head". (same word thats in the puzzle today! So funny when she's calling for the cat to come in doors
the hills are alive with the sound of babbling :0)
good morning!
Hi Poo :)
FMitch Hope it is the heavy duty stuff
Just gave back two yorkshire terrier/border terrier mixed dogs we had for three days over New Year and their names were Missy and Rudy...short for Mistletoe and Rudolph....!!!!
awww why'd you give em back?
Tell me about it They was cuter than apple pie and custard My cats weren't too impressed tho
fmitch...did you bring enough pollyfiller for everybody? One can never be too thin or have enough pollyfiller...or duct tape for that matter...
oh...poor kitties...if they're not used to dogs it can be pretty traumatic for them
Missy, too thin???? just thin'ish would work for me LOL
Fmitch shall completely ignore yr polyfilla statement...anyway whats pollyfiller stuffing mix for your pet roast parrot.....eeewwww
ratties don't like either dogs or cats
fmitch I luv that distinction....bordering on "just under overnourished but not quite Shamu-ish"
but i love rats ferrari.....they so intelligent....just like me...hahahaha
ferrari you have rats?
those fe 4 words have no right to be words!
There can't be such a thing as overnourished...she says stuffing yet another cream filled biscuit in....so much for my NY resoltions so far I've broken all three....
been keeping ratties on and off for years, they really are good pets, and have their own little quirks and personalities
ferrari I agree...there are no such words except in Babbledom. And take a gander at the second fe4/8 when/if you get there...it can't possibly be a word
Ratties SO cute....off to get a ratty pic
rules are meant to be broken tbear,it's so much more fun :))
ferrari I like all domestic animals :) If my husband wasn't allergic to cat fur I'd be a cat lady...oh and a dog lady, and a hamster lady...and a snake lady...and so on
the mind boggles missy
I feel for my hubby because he does like cats. We do have an ornery beagle...he's the only animal I've ever known who swears! He grumbles, hates everyone and everything...what a booger he is! And it's not like we've mistreated him...he's part of our family, it's just he was cursed with a nasty disposition
We've got cats, a hamster and an african clawed frog. Poo thinks the menagerie is too small....
I'm finished and off to the hills - Buckhurst Hill. Thank you all so much for such a good laugh. My ribs ache. Hope its as good tomorrow.
Wow the frog sounds so exotic! Does it really have claws???!!! 0-o
Ferrari refresh i now have a ratty friend to share my cookies with.... Poo's Mom...hiya hun
Frances Have a good one. Bye bye :)
Yes she does! Her name is Brenda.
By Frances,,,remember save me a dozen...
Well done Frances - see you again soon, it has been a blast!
bye frances, just 3 to go for me, I've consistently missed the aw words
Of course, that's no reflection on the Brenda's of the world, right? lol
back for a few minutes, missing one e, el7, hints please
the w is our friend, ferrari :D
nevermind found it all by myself.
Oh no! Not at all! We don't even know any Brendas actually
think another name for plastic end word with an "n"
Brenda, the african clawed frog!!! you learn a new thing every day... well actually on babble you learn a dozen new things every day!!!
tbear *makes note to save tbear a dozen*
tbear, cute ratty
fmitch that you will NEVER use in the course of conversation EVER
Frances i have access to an ex-England fast bowler we could share for pudding
having trouble with i words, can't find any ;)
Is Brenda big like a garden toad or is she one of those minature tree frogs?
the only Brenda I know is crackers
tbear Me too. Which one do you have?

lol beebee :D bamis7 - because it's not in the Enable dictionary, which Babble uses...as to why it's not in Enable, ask me another one...
actually, it is, isn't it, Yoink. I'd think twice..... but then again.... .Johnny Marr...... I'll be back at mine by then so I won't be going.
bam- i wouldn't think about it to much- there are plenty of words that should be,that aren't and plenty that i know aren't words that are! LOL the joys of babble
sandy- y/w
Babs, I'll be jobless a week after that anyway so I can't afford it.
i think 'latin' should be counted
bb--can't get the sa 7 yet...tried all kinds of stuff...missing a neuron?
yeah, but the it'd be 230!
'then'
bam- change the first letter and it that word will be counted ;)
Babs sa7= sa4/4 (not pepper, but sa**) + the ending for self***(he's so self***- he won't share anything)

Weird word, thanks Beebee and Sherb
yoink- y/w, sorry i couldn't come up with a better hint

bye, bee -- thanks for the help
Thanks zoom. I'd almost given up.
yoink -- that was sa 7/32 --- I'm looking for sa 6/27
No it wasn't Cybernan, look again
Maybe you got sa7/32 from that clue, but I got the sa6/27 from it.
cyber: it is the most sa6/27 when you ride a with a helmet rather than without a helmet....
In baseball if you are not out, you are sa**. If you don't try to steal the base you will be sa*****.
Thank you Walnutchen -- couldn't see that one! Starting in the wrong spot again.
Ok, so I show too many letters there. added the three letter ending to it instead of only the two letters necessary because it ends with the first letter of the ending already.
also gave me the sa 5/10 for the same reason!
If you started up top for that particular sa4/4, then you may not have the plural that starts in the bottom left corner and snakes it's way up the left side before dashing to the middle....
cybernan: really? I'm missing the 2nd sa5/10... got the first and the third one... any ideas?
walnut -- it's a plural of the sa 4/4 -- start in the bottom left corner
i'm looking for my last word - sh5/12 - i think its the 5th one of these i'm missing - any ideas please?
Got it Cybernan. Thanks.
take your dog to the vets for it's sh***, or put on your sh***, or take your horse to the blacksmith to get sh***....
actually the horse one is the last sh5/15, not a 12 at all...
sh5/14. fat fingers and wandering eyeballs this morning.
zoom - the 5th sh5/12 is a young pig...
mmmm, i have those, i may be just a little mixed up about which one i need!! clues for any others?
tell me more sherb, sounds good :)
sh + a type of bran
sh 5/12 following the boats?
type of rock
Hello, everyone!!!!!! It's that man again!!!!!!!
no it seems i have the young pig, are there more of these lovely sh5s?
haha movieman... ITMA :D
zoom - if you look at BJ's list, you can check which one you're missing...
Had that (in the wrong spot) -- how about the sa 5/12 between horses' product and a school of fish?
sh5/14 small building in the garden sh5 /12 sensitive spot above ankles that gets barked sh5/14 watercraft with a captain sh5/12 type of rock or anagram of feces sh5/12 feces sh5/12 rocks near the surface in water, in a line sh5/12 young pig, plural 6/21 sh5/14 wearing footwear or horsesh*** sh5/12 footwear sh5/12 vaccinations or gunsh***
nan - plural of the horse's product...
I think you're missing the one that is a type of rock... when you are ill you take an anti****amine (spelled right?) hope that helps some
Greetings, all! How's it going?
yeah, i've checked the stats & i'm busy going in circles - i just love this game don't you? i have the lower leg plural, the rock, the fishy one, young pig & injections. is there another one lurking?
Thank you Brandyjack -- it was the plural I was missing.
OMG - just got it from bj's list in the log - & it was the faeces plural - how appropriate is that?!
hi Jera :) ooh, bunny's got an icon, bunny's got an icon...
upgraded...woo hoo
How about a clue for the 9...? And you'd better comply, or I'll set Bun-Bun on you....
That was confusing, but I finally have that nice little column of red check marks. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the 9 is a pain in the butt
welcome to Pro, bunny... now you just need a profile so we can read all about you... :D
ep9: plural of the ep8 before it which is ep7/36 with a consonant dropped in the middle. ep 7/36: ep + first person singulare + a few
pluralize your ep 8/50 any of several structures or regions situated above or covering the mouth of various invertebrates
anyone else getting a repeat on the log messages?
but the ep8/50 IS plural already....
um, no it isn't.
at least not according to the babble dictionary.
seems there are two and I have the one before the ep8/45. Now to figure out the last one....
brandy...i have it as a plural already too..can't figure it out
at5/10 anyone?
I gave the def for the one after the 8/45
I just used bunny's definition over at the one look reverse dictionary and that's what it gave me. Pluralized for the 9/66
BJ and Cat - throw the heavy book into it
ok sherb, profile updated, i'd better get some housework done, try to finish later, bye all
Bye, Bunny
ACK! the server's going down AGAIN? Oh. I dumped Jakey ... you might want to refresh to see my new avatar. :-)
the 7/32 and 8/45 are from that book.... it's the 8/50 and 9/66 that are eluding us and driving me to drinnk....
missing sh5/12:rocks near the surface in water, in a line (I don't get it... any other clues?) thanks!
at 5/10: a book of maps
cool profile... later bunny :)
brandyjack: the last ep 8/50 and ip9 is the same as the first ep7 + an extra consonant in the 2nd word of the first ep7
walnut -- sh 5/12: s + first part of the school suject that studies the past
Rhymes with rake over the c****
sh5/12 when the bottom rises suddenly, it is said to be sh***ing. Some have said a school of fish also.
intriguing, Darleen...
take the 1st ep7 and add a consonant after the 4th letter - this will give you the 8/50 and then pl for the 9/66
sh5: A large group; a crowd. or A large school of fish or other marine animals. brandyjack, it's one of my new beads :-) about 12mm across.
BJ for your ep8/9... end it with the heavy book
oh sorry. Meant to say to Sherb. To much communcation ... must stop... must solve grid
got it. thanx darleen and brandyjack... and cybernan, too.
The real me ....... how about a 'real me' icon day?

babs - not sure if this is the first one (I have looked at stats yet) but I have the sauce made with basil
thanks, gwenski...that saves lots of tormenting here!
looks like it's a Chaucer used word much like the sel-assured word that is similar but with the 3rd vowel.

Gwnski -- a young pig
thanks hurshy!
Got two of them so far (large crowd & pig). Just need one more and the sh6/21 before footwear. Please?
Good afternoon hurshy. I think you were right about my Sophie; I believe she does have an ear infection. She is no longer stumbling, but she's still dizzy. She ate a bit today, but spit up. Poor thing. Anyway, I was grateful for your insight. Left to my own thoughts I'd convinced myself she had a neurological disorder, or a brain tumor!
sh 6/21 is plural of young pig
mab - glad to hear she seems better. i know what you mean though, when my mitten woke up one morning and couldn't even walk, i thought it must be something extremely serious! i think anybody would think that, seeing the symptoms. so i was glad i could offer some reassurance! but yeah, all you can do is keep her hydrated. it will go away pretty quickly.
Just found the piggies, thanks. My final word is one more sh5/21. Any more help, pretty please?
the first sh 5/12 I believe you are looking for is the plural of the 4 above it...

Congrats, movie man! I just finished a few minutes ago...say I just was reading your profile...if you contact me through mine, I will share some info which could be critically important to your clients--kids with asperger's...
Good afternoon, only have few minutes and then need to jump but could I get a clue for de6/21, thanks.
Thanks for letting me know about that, babs, although The organisation I work for deals mainly with adults with Asperger's... Still, I'm sure any info you could pass on would be extremely useful....
mark -- to make less (opp of pepper)
Babs- I have a friend that is having her child, 4, tested extensively - they are most sure that it is aspergers
help on the ep's?......I was only able to get 7/32 and 8/45.
I'm having trouble with the 'of' words. The a2z word finder can't even come up with what these two words might be. A little help please. Thanks.
thanks moncrunch
boatierra - the of words are an offensive termn for a white person and the plural (think the actress from the original version of King Kong)....
circe and movieman...please contact me through the profile, and I'll share with you information about how we work with conditions like autism, asperger's, etc with some breakthroughs in nutrition...very exciting stuff, actually. Happy second day of 2006!
most of the long ep words end with the same 4 letters...so monkey typing helps...vowel +prounoun for I +s when plural
JJ the ep words you have are the only long ones that don't have that 3-4 letter common ending..
can I have a clue for the niner please???
Babs, have just had a look at the site that can be accessed via your e-mail address, and at first glance it looks like a mine of info.... I shall study it more thoroughly later on...
need help with F words please have fa4/8 and fa4/7 need two more and have one fa5 unkind word for overweight folks. need one more. also cannot find fe6.
to speedfreak sam. What are you doing up so late! miss you lots from the sun of J. Hear you are in regular contact with Auntie Joyce! have not had a day free to babble so dont quite know why my rating is where it is. CU after 8th. hugs
movieman...I can simplify for you when you contact me..if you're visiting the site, just watch the first little movie...you should enjoy since you like movies!
Sam: EP 8 and 9, hard to clue, but I'll have a try: ep plus what you call yourself (one letter), another word for pebbles beginning with S; you will have to change the second to last consonant for the 8. 9 is the plural. Hope that works for you.
peri...the fa 6's are add on's to your fa 4/8...the fe word you are seeking starts with the word for a kind of party or celebration.
the MO 6 and 7 should be easy. but.... sigh....help!
boatierra - did you, by any chance, get the 'of' words.....?
thanks mab! i'm off I think my eyes need a rest what do you think (*<_>*)
Hi guys....round 3....
Babs1, I already have the fa6 words, need another fa5 and 2 fa4.
mo 6 and 7...used to be band...mo**** crew...word for kind of bedraggled 7 is the plural
peri...fa 5 one is plural for a young deer...what fa 4's do you need--points?
thanks Babs1, got the young deer sing and plural. F's done
oa 5/12?
how many to go peri?
I am up to 174. how about you Babs1
movieman - no, not yet. I checked out Urban Dictionary to see if they had anything listed. Nothing. I'll just keep trying letter combinations.
Hi everyone! off from work today so Kristianna is insisting on her flash vid fix :)
i finished awhile back...just sitting at my computer reading some chapters for a wholistic health practitioner course I'm taking..thought I'd help with clues in between
drum oa5/12 you find these in the desert
boatierra - in that case, did you happen to read my post at 1:50pm....?
grazie, spellit
of words - think of girl that King Kong loves and add o to front of name then plural it
Babs1, where are you taking the course, I am intersted in wholistic health also
GreyWoulf, hi there, was asking where you were earlier
movieman - I did, and that's why I checked Urban Dictionary. The have listings of 'urban' term. Basically international offensive and slang terms.
peri..I've been working as a wellness consultant for years...just taking this course over the internet...be glad to give you some ideas if you e-mail me through my profile..
forgot to say have 'spoken' to Joelgee,he's fine and just working hard....phew
I haven't seen any of the King Kongs.
Hi peri! Usually I am on late after the daughter is asleep but she does LOVE her Magical Trevor :D
boat - actress name in the original, and imho the only King Kong movie
in that case, boatierra, just put a 3 letter girl's name after the o, and then pluralise it for the 5....
Got it! Thanks all :)
GreyWoulf, Is the Lenscrafters where you work inside the Mall in PM
yvw Boat
tbear...love! your icon! Can hear him through cyberspace!
Yes it is, peri
I'd never heard of that 'offensive' term, and I'm white.
Neither had I, Boat, so I guess you learn something new every day......
YVW?
GreyWoulf, Used to go there quite often. Had a friend who lived near there. We had a falling out and she has since died (nothing to do with our friendship), Someday I may just go there to stop in and say hello in peson
the recipients of offensive slang are often protected from hearing the slang about them, because by definition, you're not hanging around with the other folks most of the time..imho
peri -- I would welcome the opportunity :)
movieman - totally. BTW, my signature is two words. boa and tierra. Boa means good in Portugues and tierra means land/earth in Espanol.
Babs1...he's gorgeous isn't he..wanted something new for the new year...starting my year roaring...lol
Babs1 - that's mostly true. In jr. high I was called 'weta' (I forget how to spell it in Espanol), slang for a white, blond girl. I heard that all the time.
tbear -- that's like my icon represents my leaping full on into the new year and all it holds ;D
tbear, totally cool and outrageous icon for a roaring new year..awesome!
marigold are you playing?
Greywoulf and Babs, after hitting 45 4 days ago felt I needed a shake up and bears are cute but??????? It's roaring lion time for me!! By the way happy New Year to you both.....

Hi guys! Hey tbear ((xx))..... should I start this one??
yes
Oh tbear, your birthday! Happy birthday!!!! Can you stand much more celebrating? Silly question; of course you can. Happy, happy, exciting, wonderful day to you!
boatierra - did you know that a 'weta' is also a type of insect that's native to New Zealand? I believe it's what Peter Jackson named his movie special effects company after.....
*clinking glasses* here in toast to tbear's roaring birthday and new year!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!
marigold, do you have a question you want to ask?
OKAY THANKS EVERYONE...... BIRTHDAY WAS WELL AND TRULY CELEBRATED....ASK LOLA....So Mamabear's another capricorn.....and Jera too...great...
any help out there for the af word?
How does one become an optican?
marigold...by studying opthalmology...or was that a trick question...lol
marigold -- do me a favor and email that question -- address in the bio -- I have my daughter here with me and she makes it hard to focus on answering you , as she is grabbing the mosuse :)
Lola...good trip back...I've had a day off,completely...except food,babble and tv
Hi everyone. My birthday was the 30th and for my present to myself I signed up for "pro" and put a picture of our Belted Galloway cows up for my icon. Been playing for a few months .....rather quietly.
AF- farthest or rear of airplane + rhymes with host
actually , tbear, there is a difference between an opthamologist and an optician -- an optician does not require as much in depth training marigold -- emailling me will also let me locate the relevant info where you can apply if you are interested :)
monpazier....same day as me.....yay. I always celebrate on the 29th cos most people want to save themselves on the 30th for the 31st....Happy belated birthday to you....where are you from and what gender?
tbear, good trip thanks...... but I'm already planning the next one! ;)
What a nice gift to yourself. Happy birthday, montpazier!
tbear.....I am female....from the US......thought I put that on my profile....I will check that. Happy birthday to you, also!!!
Congrats on the Birthday and pro status, monpazier! Welcome to the pack :) (*hug*)
Greywoulf....goes to show what I know.....must admit we have a very handsome optician and when he comes in real close to check inside the eye with the light thingy, I find it very difficult to breathe....Lol

Congrats on going pro, gem_gem, but couldn't you tell us a little bit more about yourself, or am I being a tad too inquisitive.....?
By the way, what does everyone think about my latest icon....?
Yeah..quite glad it looks like beg Feb,need a month to recover from the last month.....aaarghgghhh
Anyone help me on de6/21 and af7/44?

babble dude.....try refreshing...
Hi everyone -- just popping in to suggest to those of you that haven't been reading back in the log that we have a 'real me' icon day... or even week. What do you think -- personally, I'd like to be able to connect a face with all my new friends in Babbleonia
Thanks Cathy : ) Good to be back lol Bear, woman cannot live by lime alone : D
ty patact. now need only the is5 and the last in6...
cybernan I agree...... snowy..with fur round the top
tw7 & 8(plurall): scottish two + some
I like the real me icon idea.
Cath - he must be the most broken down dishwasher in the world! LOL Maybe if I threaten him with rubber gloves enough - he'll give in!
CathB -- good idea :) then if hubby does the dishes all the time, it won't matter to snowy whether she has an automatic dishwasher or not :)
is 5 & 6: last part of St. John's letters
sorry the fur gloves comment was for Cathb,Snowy
Lo, has the computer been sorted then or are you Babbling on borrowed time??? : )
Ah Cathy thereby hangs a tale! He told his parents I didn't need one because I had him! I've never owned a machine that made so many excuses!
ok why are you talking about rubber gloves?
hello cybernan : ) hello, bunny : )
I can vouch for that snowy
monpazier, thanks, it sort of worked, I now have to refresh on every four letter word for it to work.
can i have a list of the fa's please!!!!!!
Perhaps I could persuade him to write an excuse book and then buy a dishwasher with the proceeds!
ah well, gotta love him though, don't you? I'd give anything I own (even my dishwasher) to have my hubby back -- excuses and all !!
Lol Snowy......and that fur comment was for you...I think...I'm getting befuddled
in 6/18: what you do with a new program & your computer ---- you in**** it - no double letters in 4/4: opp. of out of in 6/27: in + burial place
That's rather odd...babble dude. You might try doing a complete shut down and logging back on.
Babe, got a fancy new one!!! Flat screen (I can actually see the icons now), bigger hard drive (can play myst 4- woot!) Will probably be pestering you tomorrow though about re-installing scrobbler, lol!
snowy - just remind him how much time it saves us on holiday -more time for stripping paint !
Nothing like a bigger hard drive to brighten up your day hmm?? ; )
lol Cath - the paint stripping is promised to start tomorrow!
LOL! Missing you already babe! : )
Anyone else need a clue before I leave you? -- looking for an excuse to put off decoration removal a little longer!
Can some one please tell me 98 words is enough so i can stop looking!
thanks for your help, cybernan!
come on gem gem..2 more make it 100
gem, 98 is fab! But two more and you'll have a nice, round 100 ; )
oh no, you must continue!
ugh, cybernan, know what you mean. I finally finished that task yesterday. I love the decorations, but hate the job of taking them down and putting them away!
Missing you too babe : ) I'm finding out that an Xmas break does nothing for my spelling... : /
back again, marigold are you still playing?
Anj -- or my typing skills (or lack thereof) !! But sure to hate the thought of going back to work tomorrow, too :)
yes
Ah, but Cathy, procrastination is a wonderful thing!

cybernan - you've got till 12th night you know! We're leaving our church decorations up until the Christingle service on 15th Jan. The vicar was not impressed with my " It's unlucky you know" LOL

Anj...was gunna join Cybernan with a 'real' icon but it says babble doesn't understand?? Any ideas
Lola - He's on the wagon!
time for dinner will be back later
refresh & try again tbear!
peri -- try past tense & plurals of some of the le 4's for your le 6's
ep 7/36 & 8/50 (plural): ep + first person singular + a few
peri - many revolve around to rent
Gem, that's a big word. I'm geting stuk on the ezy ones : / lol : ) Bear, check it's not a bitmap image or any nasty non-babble pic format. Babbles likes jpegs.
I'll have the drink then :D
Love your icon gem gem =o)
snowy, oops! *lola puts hand over mouth after removing foot!*
ooooooooooo could still be the big word I don't know how to spell thing anj!
le 4/7 is the root of 2nd two
hi toes! : )
thanks it says alot about me :D
peri - le6 - ' flicked through the pages of a book( Think plants & trees) le6 - some one who hires a car, long term le**** it + past tense
Toes!!! :D *lola gives toes big hug* Haven't seen you for ages!
the le 5/12 (for the dog) is the root of both 7's

did everyone have a good xmas and new year?
...yo!
SNAP cybernan LOL TY gem_gem I had a lovely Christmas & New Year & you?
yep mine was good!
Yes thanks, gem -- our family certainly did! My icon photo was taken Christmas Day -- the big smile is because Santa came through with new golf irons! How about you?
Yes thanks gem :)
OK finished and i need some help. i am giving a speech to the Womens' Entrepeneurs Association of Cedar Rapids. There will be about 80 women there. The subject is Renegotiating with Integrity. I need to tailor the presentation of how women renegotiate differently than men. Any thoughts on the subject. Are women better listeners? If you have examples or stories that I could use I would be very greatful.
no golfing irons for me cybernan it's not fair!!!!!!!!!!! good lola :D
marc, when are you doing the speech? give me your email and i'll try to jot down a few things for you.
(((((((((((anj!))))))))))) Welcome to the year 2006!
Marc woman are the best at every thing so naturally we're the best at listening!
Weeell ... it does help that Santa practically lives at the golf course all summer. I should have got a tent for his Christmas gift!
well i got him a sleeping bag!
marc -- I'd also be happy to share a few tidbits I've picked up during my business career. let me know how to send to you.
LOL
Last word... any clue for the last ho 5/12? (in between party giver and opposite of cold)
my email address is marc@marcfreeman.us. Gem, I don't doubt that women are better at everything but I really need concrete stories when they are renegotiating. Renegotiating, according to me, is the art of revising, altering or changing a previously negotiated agreement. It is basically breaking a promise or commitment.
party giver with a vowel for ho5
oooooo i'll be quiet now because there were long words in that
ho 5/12: add a vowel to ho 4/5 -- it's a shade loving plant
cypernan maybe we can find him a tent in the sales?
Thanks to all! Finished for the day
By the way the speech is January 10th.
anyone have a clue for fe 6/27?
sorry I spelt your name wrong I'm having one of those days where you can't spell
refresh cybernan,I've found a photo that was accepted by babble.....bit silly I'm blowing a kiss to my daughter in a shopping mall in Alicante Spain at Xmas
okay, one more eluding me... one of the 3 sh 5/12s right after the potty word. I have two of the three which are a group and young piggies--any help on the last one I'm missing?
So are we making tomorrow official real people day?
Bwah hah hah hah hah...that's all the vowels down. Now for the real words } )
It's a little dark on my screen, tbear -- but otherwise looks great -- thanks for joining me!
Kris the sh5/12 change the last letter of the one that is not about the potty
Great pic, tbear! : )
so have we got to have pics of us for tomorrow?
marc -- did you pluralize the potty word?
Tomorrow sounds good to me, tbear -- I'll just leave mine up.
Come on Lola....put that fabulous gamine hair and face on the screen.....and you Anj...you long haired lover you!!!
JJ did you get the fe6/27? if not is sounds like a big party something that is very fe**** but change the last two letters

I guess the decorations aren't going to grow legs and put themselves away, so I'd better get to it --- back at the flip :)

ok tbear your off the hook!
Okay, refresh : )

distorted...uggg
may i have some help with the st 5's? i have the animal; the geographic feature; and the quiet grains....
ooooooooooo you should get a new username tlion then lol
Snowy your icon reminds me of one of my favorite childhood memories. It was very late at night...I had gotten bored and stepped outside just to view the stars, which was my habit. I heard a quiet fultter of wings. I looked up on a telephone pole and there sitting on top was giant white owl. He flew straight down the telephone pole and then about two ft over my head! What a beautiful creature he was! White owls were endangered then and completely gone in my area today, I feel privelged to have witnessed one.
please could someone give me a clue for the fa 7/ 40
fa7/40 plural of one above but the pluralization has an "e" in it
slang for obese - fa 7/40 builds off of fa 5/16
still dont get it sorry
Gem *sings* "...who ate all the pies, who ate all the pies...??" : )
ok, I finally finished ... so I'm off now to search for a pic for tomorrow. ya'll have a wonderful evening, and see you (the real you) later !!
Missyme - how lucky you were! Have seen a few real owls - but when I was looking ofr icons, this one made me laugh so it got the job!
who lol
congrats Cathy - got 1 to go myself its driving me mad!
snowy - anything I can help with before I go?
what is this picture day at school? i didn't get the memo....
fa5/10 is word for overweight (fa*) + tiny word in this sentence, "**, you think you wanna be a star", or "**, what!", or "**on and **forth" The ending for the plural word above has an "e" in it
hi ren! : )

Hey sandr - Happy New Year : )

Mon pe 6/24 this would be a strange spelling for yummy pieces of pumkin p**** but change the first two vowels around and then add past tense

Only 4 st 5s Temple Owl!
Temple if you meant those last st5s they're a continuation of st4/4 which sounds like the type of snake "*** constricter" The next two st5's after the st4 is has two type of plural endings...one with an "e" and one with an "s" The last st5 is like a very strong beer-type drink, a st*** beer

Aww, that's sweet babe, but believe me when I say that the child does not need any more sugar! : D
peri pe7 is a plural of the pe6 - pe**** & mortar
pe7 is plural of pe6/21
missy - do you wear candy necklaces and bracelets?...8)
Missy, i've goy big mallow bananas, shrimps and choccy mice as well : ) Nostalgia trip...

Oh Anj! Nostalgia sweets - what fun -can I put a vote in for flying saucers and choc candy sticks and sherbet fountains?!
my new icon won't work :(
snowyowl, thank you found the pe6 and plural pe7 (and I have one of those in my kitchen too)
Snowy, I bought two hundred flying saucers for my birthday this year : ) They lasted less than 15 mins in the pub : /
Guys.....whadda bout mojos blackjacks and fruit salads....those necklaces were suchfun...I want one now after my soup...LOL
pe6's Weird way to spell pumkin pies...reverse the first two vowels and add an "e" at the end. Then plural and past tense for the next pe6 and pe7
yw periwinkle - I found it by accident myself!
Bear, Missy, don't forget the watches that went with the necklaces...
any hints for the pi6
i've got the watches! they're 20 of 99 cents
tbear - definately a sherbet girl myself! My dad and I both loved sherbet lemons! Still love lemon sweets of most kinds!
sorry...that wasn't for the pe7 its not included in those particular pe6's the pe7 is the plural of pe6 above it which is the gender part of a flower
can't find the so6 cause I don't have the right so5
The candy jewellery is great fun! Musn't mention it at home tho in case the husband thinks that he can replace the real stuff with sweets!
HI folks. HAPPY NEW YEAR! I've just finished the grid - in between ironing and a new year clear-out of the clutter.
hi everyone. One can still find candy cigarettes if one really looks. they don't taste like anything, but they satisfy a small transgressive need.
peri - add a vowel to a so4/7 and then pluralise
lol snowy... instead of precious jewels i now get ny yankee stuff...where did i go wrong?
two pi6's first is past tense of pi4/6 and then second is plural of word the word rhymes with "fish"
peri..the so 5 word is like the word for couch with an extra consonant in the middle, then plural for the 6.. the pi 5 and 6 is built on the pi 4 that is a word for disdain, but kind of sound like peeing..root word ends in sound you make to have them be quiet..
Hi jacula! : )
i need the 1st or 2nd pe4/6...any clues please.....the pe4/6 i have has something to do with walking i think
Hi Jacula :)
hi mistress.....8)
Hi Jacula and Mab Happy new year1 Lol Renfield perhaps you need to have a few tantrums!!!LOL generally works here in the long run!!!!! - but niot for the dishwasher that would make my life heaven!!!!
Hi Jac : )
pe6's Weird way to spell pumkin pies...reverse the first two vowels and add an "e" at the end these 6's are both continuation of the root word in the pe5 word above it... one of the words is past tense...the other is plural
Up to 205 tired, quitting. may come back later. if not see you all tomorrow.
Hi Mab...just saw you :)
peri Nighters :) cya soon
Mo - the word you seek is an anagram of the name of the old sheepdog that had us all in tears when Elvis sang about him.
help, please, with the first PE 5/12
Anj...I never saw the watches
...the plural fish is doing brisk business in this neck of the woods again : /
MO the 2nd if you can remember the sheepdog on Blue Peter, turn his name backwards! LOL
missy - you can get them at the 99 cent store....
PE 5/12 Weird way to spell pumkin pies...reverse the first two vowels and add an "e" at the end

snowy there are so many different types of those hearts now...some with rude or sexy sayings on them, for adults-only, of course
*digs 99 pennies out of the bottom of her purse* I'm ready
lol Missy - have not seen those. My 5 yr old grandaughter had her last birthday cake covered in them!
snowy, refresh to see my love heart : )
ok missy - let's go...i'm flush today so we can get a lot!!!!
Snowyowl thank you i have it now .....obviously more familiar with Blue Peter than Elvis..thanks again to you both
snowy to get those hearts you have to either visit one of those novelty stores and get pushed around by the young kids or get online and peruse sites most sane adults wouldn't visit lol
ok lola - now what are we all singing? 'candy girl....!! 8)
Yes! Tell me...do they have wax lips too?
ren, lol! I couldn't find any naughty ones! ; )
Lola - lol! Missy - I've obviously been looking in the wrong places!!!!
missy not until holloween...but you can do like me and eat birthday cake candles for your wax fix....8)
snowy took shebert lemons to my bro in Spain at xmas, they came in a white paper bag...the kind that after you've held it for 10 mins all the sweets stick to it
snowy...it means you are a gentle, normal human being without a taste for the bizarre I don't fit that catagory, I think I've bookmarked every crazy site on the internet
Missy do you mean cherry lips? - I think we can still get those here. They just all look a lot smaller now!
ren...yuk. Shall we sing 'my girl lollipop'
oh and the false teeth.....
snowy Yes those are the ones. With my adult mouth I'll look like a china porcelin doll but who cares? :D
lol tbear....now another song - so let's sing!!!!
I've been known to be very bizarre in my time missy LOL!!! But find myself becoming shockable sometimes which is very disconcerting! It's an age thing!
Ren...if I remember correctly, the lips taste exactly the same.. lol
i once saw an orange and black wax mouth harp...

I'm trying hard not to Missy!!! My 29th wedding Anniversary on the 8th Jan which is making me feel a bit aged at the moment! But a few vadka & tonics or a few Harvey Wallbangers tend to rectify that!
here's a site: WARNING! for adults only and may offend some! http://www.newengland yankee.com/Funny_Valentine.htm l
A-ha! I have '0' words left to find! Bwah haa hah hah... My work here is done } )

Congrats Anj!!!!!!!! you can reward yourself with a candy necklace now-------and we'll all watch you eat it!!!

JJ, try the Crue (as in Girls Girls Girls etc)
'nite Snowy : ) Thanks babe : D Gow are you doing??

JJ when you pluralize the 7 don't change the "y"...just add an "s" or you'll drive yourself nuts like all us craz"ys"
'bye snowy : ) Er......about 60 to go babe, lol!

'night Snowy.
well hello, all - back to finish up!
night, snowy!
Missy, have you read any Peter F Hamilton??
Hi all! Am getting a VERY LATE start today vs. just a little late start. Soooo many to find in such a short time. Need help w/ de 6/21.
how the heck can i ask for a clue for the last sh5 when there are 10 of them to sort thru!!!!!!
oh....yes I am! I've been waiting and waiting for his second installment of Pandora's Star...its out in February, I think...
Missy, it's called Judas Unchained and i'm reading it now : ) Have you read his Night's Dawn stuff??
nonny - use the sa4 word for seasoning - add de
de 6/21 de + not pepper but ****
Anj ARG! It's out now? Amazon.com informed I could preorder it...out in Feb...geesh! I ordered the series from Science Fiction Book Club because I hadn't...still waiting for them to arrive
t/y MissyMe. Now on to the rest...Sooooo many more to find.....Sooooo little time.
clue, please for the FIRST "is 6/18"?
Temple...you're right...what a pain to find the right one Here's one some have had trouble finding...the first one: It's a place where you keep your garden tools
moncrunchr, is6/18 - "I wanted to stop and rest so I *** ** a chair" : )
Anj how's Judas Unchained so far? Still Mr Hamilton's wonderful gift for detail?
Hi everyone! 229! Looks like I am too late to start this one.
Hi MrPrez :) just type in as many as you can...you still get the points for the words you get :)
hail mr. p!
anyone have a clue for the second pe 4/5 or the last pe 5/12?
at5/10?
sorry, actually the first pe 4/5
pe 4/5 this is the green mix of herbs you put on pasta
pe 5/12 builds off the 4...do you like pasta with pe***...the green herb?
at 5/10 has the world on his shoulders
pe 5/12 griding tool you use in a mortar
Missy, you're right, it's not out in the US until end of Feb. You could always order the UK edition from Amazon.co.uk lol. Just noticed the Amazon UK is pairig him up with Alistair Reynolds. He's a good read as well : )
thanks....got them all now except the first pe 4/5
pe 4/5 take pumpkin "pies", reverse the first vowels and add an "e" at the end
Alistair Reynolds I agree about him! :)
Missyme - Yes, Joe P is a comedian with a squeaky voice.
first 4/5 is a Mexican coin
thanks missy me - that is one i have - along with the boats, the common word plural, and the crowds, and the piglet, and the two from footwear...
I got that one Missy....that one is for one of the pe 5/12
Jacula...okay, now his official website makes sense...the reason why he called his 2005 Tour "Does he really talk that way?"
yeah JJ I made a mistake on that one but the second clue I gave is the right one now :)
Looolllaaaaa How are you doing babe??
there's two pe4's the second pe4 is not a pet but a pe**
hi all... I just joined and was wondering how you all are getting the clues as to which words you stillneed... ie. some of you know you need a word with 'pe' as the prefix.. just wondering.......
21 to go babe, can I break for a coke and more chocolate?? : )
Bamis7 - check out the Babblers Anonymous link at the bottom of the Friends of Babble panel on the right. The daily stats are listed under the General thread.
Bamis Welcome!!! Brandyjack posts a great list of the first two letters of each word, the number of letters in the word and the points awared for each Go to Babblers Anonymous at right link...go the General and then the first post is his list it sure helps!
Well, as long as you've been a good girl Lola ; )
Hmmm, what if I haven't then?
lola we never need an excuse for mass consumption of chocolate :) go girl!
LOL! I know you haven't ; )
thank you sooooo much! do you all just print it off or do you keep going back and forth to it.... or is there a way to keep the window open for reference?
Some of us print it...some of us make a separate link to it and some of us copy and paste it to Word or Notepad and keep it on desktop. It all depends on what's convenient for you :)
I have a question for all you professional Babblers in regards to scoring. I know how the scoring works, but how about when the site starts keeping score? I mean if i just log in, and don't put any words in, will I recieve a 0 for the day and get a big dent in my score? Or does scoring start once you enter your first word?
Rich for what I've seen...you don't get any points for that puzzle but you're not penalized for it either. The points are just added up from the words you DO put in. :)
thank you for that!! this should make my babbling a lot less frustrating... i have been doing this all without hints and that is kinda crazy
Bamis, I keep it in a separate tab. or window, depending on which browser I have open at the time.
Bamis I hear ya! Especially when we find a word that, to me, shouldn't exist, at least not in this parsec of the galaxy lol
on that same note..do you get points taken off if you enter an invalid word or a word you already have?
No you're safe there Bamis...no penalties
fabulous!
Bamis, if Dr. God had set up the puzzle that way I would be giving him points...I'd be in the red lol
bamis now you can ask for clues, too.
We ask for clues like this: whats a clue for pe7/32 pe is for the first two letters, the 7 is for the number of letters in the word and the 32 is the points awarded
clues for the last le4/6?
ok i am pretty desparate. I hope at least this helps the late starters, and hopefully get me a clue. sh5/14: storage bldgs sh5/14: big boats sh5/12: type of rock, alt spelling sh5/12: plural of a coarse word sh5/12: crowd sh5/12: piglet sh5/14: footwear past tense sh5/12: footwear plural
Bamis, sometimes that's the only way I get words.. just typing letters ("Monkey typing")
anyone have a clue for sa 6/27?
hey Rich, sometimes it seems to me like if i log in and don't put words in my points go down. but that could be just because i'm losing a good puzzle to none on the 30-day rule. but just to be safe i usually log into bj's list first and if i don't think i can do it sometimes don't log in
le4/6 the "y" is our friend JJ :) and its plural
temple what did you need?
oh - and sh5/12: gunfire - plural
i need an sh5...
and also an sa6
sh5 okay your missing the plural of the front part of our lower leg your and when you hit this part it hurts!
sa6 this is the best"est" way to type the first sa4/7 above it
ty, missy! i have two left now...i think i can make it...i WILL make it....
of/4?
Temple you will...you will!!!! Angel of4/ The "y" is our friend once again :) last part rhymes with "say"
Any help w/the last ta 5/10???

oh come on how is mosh not a word
OOPS!!! MY BAD. It helps when you have them in the right order..... (SO EMBARRASED)
he5/12 robbers do this when they steal...they do a he***
he 5/12: a word to descibe a crime, a robbery
lola - think of people involved in espionage - then reverse the vowels and add an e to the end...
aaargh! Thanks temple : )
Leslie...someone pointed out that a much bigger word, shinto, is not accepted either It might be because its more a proper noun than an..ummm...improper one. :D
Lo, the sp6 is in the same part of the grid and sounds like the girl group who told us what they want, what they really really want : )
that was the sp 6/21 - nonny you look, too!
sp6/21 - add an 's' to your pe5/12
but mosh could also be moshes and moshed, and i had three m words left... so cruel ;)
Yay! Thanks temple, those were my last two words : )

I'm going to go make dinner...cya in a bit
Goodnight Mab :) Cya soon!
i only have one tw word any help please?
sorry about that..... i gave clue for LA 6 instead of LE 6. Too excited, I guess, about finishing. :(
bye mab and missy!
bamis...... try three letters for an old airline co., plus 4 letter word for 'few', and also the plural
tw 4/8 - add two vowels to make Scottish two tw 5 - pluralise tw7 - tw plus a plus so4/5 tw8 - pluralise
Last Call for clues...... babble server should be goin' down any minute...
in/4? all i have in the opposite of out of
angel, there is only ONE in4.... here's a clue for the in 6's: in + enclosure for dead bodies and in + what bread gets if you leave it out (minus the last letter)
Can anyone give a clue for the 9? Also, I'm missing two 8's. I have 2 epi ones. Tryng to get as much done as possible before the site goes down for service. Or did that already happen? Thanks!!!
ep9 is the plural of ep8/50
take your ep 7/36 and stick a T right in the middle (and the plural)
Hi all! I'm back again. Any help with the last la 6/21???
Unea-I'm confused (not an uncommon state of affairs). The ep8/50 I have is already a plural. Is there another one?
la6: kinda not on time . . .
eva, sorry for the confusion--yes there's another
la 6/21....... not earlyish, but .,...
Thanks Unea & moncrunchr. Got them!
great!
So I'm still missing an 8.
yay!!! my new icon is FINALLY working!!!! :):):):)
thanx...I feel so with-ish now....
hi all, cathy, what a good-looking family!!!
Are there any non-e 8's? What a strange puzzle.
nope, they're all e's :-)
thanx...my youngest, my son is 9... at the bottom...my birthdaughter... (gave her up when i was 19) is now 20!!! just met her in Nov 05!!!
i think there is one that isn't an e... i have all the e's and still need an 8
oops, sorry, one's a "tw"
Okay, so the ones I have are ep8/50 ep8/45 ep8/50 What should I be looking for? Do they all have the first person singular for the third letter?
A tw? Hmmmmmm.
why is latin not a word when some of these other lame ones are?
it's the plural of tw7/48
so cool cathy!!!
Any clues for the long tw's?
pretty neat experience for sure!!! but man....i just can't get my last 8!!!!
I've FOUND them!!!! I'm done!!! I'm dancin' for joy! YEA ME!!!!
nonny gets *~*~*~FIREWORKS!~*~*~*
tw4/8 + so4/5
funny...most everyone playing this seems to be women!!! LOL!!! WOMEN.... MASTERS OF THE WORD!!!!
YEA ME AGAIN!!! I LOVE fireworks!!! Thanx, mrpres....
tw - another word for couple, but change the first vowel
Thanks unea-once again you come to my rescue, but what the h___does it mean?! Can't find any definition and have never heard it before. Is it a version of a gruesome twos___?
cathy, you wouldn't say that if you saw my score! I only have 212 words left to find, not quite a master. . . .
yep, i think that's what it means . . . scottish maybe?
I'm down to 76 myself..still feel quite like a newbie @ babble yet!!! but hell..it's fun!!!!!!!!!!
Is Babble going to be (temp) down in about 10 minutes?
it was s'posed to be down for temp time starting about 55 min AGO....... :s
Boa I think in about 45 minutes or so. It says central time but for me it should have gone down already if that was true
dunno . . . it's already 53 minutes past the time it was supposed to go down . . .
Boa...just keep typing until Dr. God kicks us out. lol
down to one word . . . sa6 . . . and can't find it--any hints?
LOL, no doubt.
Well now my day is complete. It is my birthday .... I am STILL sick.... and I just found out one of my very dear friends that I work with resigned today..... and NOW I come on here to find Babble is disabled..... this year is NOT starting out well.
ohnooooooo, so sorry to hear all that, Mamabear . . .
oh, mamabear, I am so sorry. Feel better soon.
thank you
Happy Birthday anyway, Mama *sends her healing thoughts and well wishes* Maybe you're getting all the bad things out of the way all at once and the rest of the year will be peaceful! Hear's hoping so...
sa6 its the best"est* way to type sa4/7
MamaBear: Don't base your happiness on Babble, even tho it is a great game to play. Your work person who resigned today, may be, probably, the worst thing. But, life turns and churns, it could also be for the best. Happy BD. You are strong and you will survive all this turmoil in your life. Get better.
If anyone is like me and didn't know the definition of the second fe4/8...it means: a Hebrew coin took me a while to find that definition!
evenin all! mamabear, we have the same icon! great minds think alike. ;)
evanadine Good evening to you! Hope your weekend holiday was pleasant :)
hooray the grid is working again
Leslie...had it gone down? I didn't know...I was away from computer fixing dinner.
ooh, me too... just came back and assumed it had :)
Leslie That warning message is still there so I assumed it hadn't yet.
I'm in Mountian Time and have been working for the past two hours. It hasn't gone down yet
Thanx mas :)
oh well i should have stayed!
It hasn't gone down here on the Westcoast yet either. What's up with that?
thanks JoJo and MissyMe!!!! Hi evanadine - we are icon twins!! Don't know if I'm gonna stay long..... just thought I'd pop in and see what's going on.
does anyone have the de 6/21?
de + opp of pepper
ack how didn't i see that!
Maybe Dr. God fell asleep and it won't go down.....
yeah, really... de**** is usually next to depepper - I hate when people don't put things back where they belong!
mon lol
Mama we're all just sittin here waiting for the axe to fall...well...some of us are madly typing in words. :D
Removes de**** from de tail of de bird hehe
any clues for the af7?
af7 A ship term.... the furthest part of a ship add the third mo4/5 which means the greatest
thank you missy
Yw doxy :)
monc: Yeah, I agree, Dr. God must have fallen asleep!
in6/18 anyone?
in6/18 you do this to software when you put it on your computer but drop the last "L"
thanks again missy. can't seem to find words tonight.
Hi Everyone! AAOOOoooooOOWWW!
doxy Yw :) When the time runs down close to the mark I get nervous and my mind goes blank
GW: Where have you been?
Hi GW! awwwwoooOOOOO back atcha...(that's my hound dog talkin )
fa 7/40 anyone?
Out at the babys store --- Border's! Also we went to KFC for dinner cos Kirsten had a craving and I found out the hard way that I can't eat their french fries :(
fa 7/40 this is a plural of word above but add an "e" in the plural suffix
You okay GW?
Leslie -- plural the fa5 (overweight person)
Nothing a little loperamide couldn't fix :)
hmm i doubt the "real wordiness" of that. thanks.
:) Were they too greasy for you?
kfc has fries?
I can't eat KFC chicken, ever. Gives me the same thing you experienced. It's good while eating it, but a few hours later, get me in to the bathroom!!!
No, I think they use the same oil to fry them as Burger King --- ever since fast food places started changing their oils I have had problems
Leslie I accidently typed it in that way with the "e" or I'd be struggling trying to get that word too
Leslie -- the one near me is a combo restaurant with an A+W burger place --- which works for me cos I don't like KFC personally AND they have A&W root beer on tap! ;)
No fast foods for me. Give a bit of wine, great dinner, and I am good.
GW you're probably right. Supposedly, the new oils they're using are healthier but I'm thinking those oils break down easier and faster with higher temperatures and continual use as fast food resturants tend to do
any one have clues for the is's?
I look at it this way -- since the oils were changed I have not gotten fast food as often -- and since McD has the doulble cheeseburger on the dollar menu I shop cheap when I do :)
doxy - I don't have the is's either, sorry :)
is6/18 i + third sa5/10 (means a fabric with a shiny, silky sheen to it)
thanks missy. you have been a word saver tonight.
next two rhyme with missle but are not spelled that way drop the ep7/32 first three letters and you have the last two is's
Yw doxy :)
thanks missy. I thought I had monkey typed that one.
How many times do I say THAT to myself when I finally find a word I'm looking for? lol
mo6 & 7?
think of the rock group mo***** crew
mo6 & 7 like the rock group Mo***** Crew
doxy -- I saw that clue earlier and it flew by me, but now I get it -- thanks :)
I found the word on morewords and it clicked.
I think 'I coulda sworn I monkeyed that!' should be an official button or T-shirt for Babble :D
I agree with you GW
Well, only 11 to go ---- all P's :\
VERY GOOD idea GW :D
or monkeytypers.com formally Babble.com
and of course the ever popular "What the heck does THAT mean!?!"
lol or "I'm totally stuck on the last word!"
how about "Hi --- my name is Ad4/6, and I am a Babble addict!" Can personalise to suit ;D
lol!!!!! Well thats just the sh512!!!
*When all else fails...PLURALIZE*
My word list, GW, doesn't have any AD's. What am I missing?
"Pre- and Suf- fixes are the mixed blessing of the Babbleverse"
Ad4/6 is the two letter rendition of my true name, JoJo, which is Adam ;D
down to 5!
ARG my ISP keeps kicking the bucket. We've had over 6 inches of rain here over the weekend which always effects the internet. :(
thanks, missyme!
missy, are you in that flooded area?
Youre welcome Une :) doxy no...all the water is running down the hill from us and flooding the valleys :(
I'm glad you are ok, though :)
Thanx...I continually call my two oldest ones, though. My daughter lives in Galt and my son lives in Stockton down the hill. Both places have reported flooding....we're crossing our fingers the 3 dry days we have coming up will slow the runoff down to something manageable
Missy -- just read your bio --- a woman after my own heart in almost all levels --- I am trying to talk myself into getting the newest plug and play controller --- it has 30 Commodore 64 classics in it, including Temple of Fargoal and Gateway to Apshai :)
MissyMe: Hope your kids are safe tonite. Nothing worse than to worry about your kids. Blessings to you and yours.
GW ooooo sounds totally awesome!
Thank you Jojo. I think the 3 dry days we have coming up is a godsend!
done! clues, anyone?
Leslie!!!!! Yay for you! :) ~%%%~~~fireworks~~~%%%~
Yeah -- the first pe5/12, please -- I figure it will give me both 6's :)
GW: Commodore 64 ~ right on. My kids had the commodore 64, and then the MacSE before anyone in the neighborhood even had a computer. I am proud of that. In fact I still have my old SE.
missy, we could be sisters. I have also been married 28 years, have 4 kids (not 3) and am getting my first grandchild this month. I love Stephen King!!!
pe5/12 think several pumpkin "pies"...turn around the vowels and add an "e"
add the "e" to the end of the word, I mean :)
Excellent! and now I am done as well! (*Happy Dance*)
Missyme: Your kids will be fine, I hope. Believe. Ride it out. Life is not easy, but OK.
the computer says No but all of the H words are done anyone else having a problem??
hi im new to the game any clues?
try refreshing coolbear?
Coolbear -- try refreshing -- that usually fixes it :)
*shares in GW's happy dance* Woot woot woopie!!! ~~~%%**fireworks* *%%~~~ Thanx jo jo for the sweet sentiments
fingers, if you click on the babblers anonymous link to the right, then click general, then click stats, you will get a list of the first and second letters of all the words for today
fingers are you stuck on anyone particular clue?
Happy Dance for GW!!! Not any way close, but will be proud of what I do.
congrats GW!
yay gw!
my hubby and I had a commodore game system and wore it out. Really enjoyed those games.
I've been waiting for you MaMaBear - to wish you a Happy Birthday!
doxy the same here and I had an Atari 2500...(still do, actually...) The old games are still addictive!
Y ay for everyone else!!!! (*Hugs all around*) Mama -- (*Hug*) -- how are you doing today?
I finally had to get rid of the atari games. No way to play them.
thank you mas!!!!
Hi, all! {HUGS}, GW! Okay, I think I have most of the words on paper, here I go (to type them in), hope to join you all in the Babble Ballroom dancing the Dance of Doneness! I don't type as fast as Speedfreak, tho, so give me a few minutes to report back!
Happy Birthday, MAMA!!! BTW -- guess what, you share your birthday with Jera :)
For convenience sake I put all my NES, SNES, N64, Genesis and Playstation games on my computer...woot woot...I can play them any time now without dragging out my old systems and cartridges!
Hello JB :)
I had my original Atari sytem (from before they called it the 2600) until about 9 years ago -- the reset switch finally went beyond the capacity to fix :)
*singing* Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday dear mamabear Happy Birthday to you And Jera
Thanks GW! I hope hers was better than mine!!!! Not a good day...... this virus thing is still getting the better of me... and I logged in to my email at work to see what's going on while I am at home and found out a very dear friend gave his notice and today was his last day.....
Not a very good b-day present, huh, M-Bear?
GW I didn't get the earlier system. The 2600 has some pretty fun games, though :)
thanks doxy!!!!! *timid bow* I didn't know you could do that, MissyMe! You are very computer savvy! I am impressed!
...still typing... ...going alphabetically backwards so I can see the list grow...
Hi, M-Me!
missy, how did you do that? We have all those plus the sega. Would love to have those on computer.
hello fingers5...if possible pay for the upgrade & membership.... well worth it.... 15 monthes later and i still play every day..... lots of luck
Missy the original is the 2600, just it was only boxed as the Atari home entertainment system or something like that -- when they came out with the upgraded 5200 they renamed it :)
MissyMe - Have you by chance played Starcraft Broodwar or Age of Empires? I only ask because my husband did the artwork on them.
Mama...the program to play them is called an emulator. :) They are not legal to use unless you already own the game...which I do. :)
I thought there was one version they made earlier than the 2600...1500 or something like that
mas, I think my son has played starcraft. he is really into the warcraft game.
mas Yes... Starcraft and tell your husband thank you from me for the EXCELLENT graphics!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MAMABEAR!!!!!!!!!! I hope you've had a good, good day and that you have done something wonderful for yourself. (also hope you're feeling well enough)
mas -- that is very cool! I think this is the best part of the chat log -- the minor brushes with fame we have and never know about until it comes out in passing ;)
I will. I personally have never seen it!
I cannot figure out what the DE 6 is. I have the de-seasoning word, may I have a clue for the other pleeeeeease?
That's me Greywolfe - just brushing with fame.
mas lol
No it wasn't JBs... I knew he was looking and knew it was coming, but was still upset by it.
DE 6 this is a small copy version of software on a disc you get to try out the game...its a de**
mab -- it is the plural of the 1st de5 -- to remove excess adipose tissue
well, not plural since its a verb, but you know what I mean ;)
ugh sorry wrong clue :(
thank you mab..... my daughter and her boyfriend went out to buy me flowers to cheer me up, but since I work for FTD and am not too happy with that place these days, they decided to get me lottery tickets instead!! They made me laugh.
Mama...that is SO cool :) you're daughter has a great sense of humor!
Mama -- has your coughing improved at least?
MamaBear: Nothing wrong with lottery tickets. You were remembered by your kids, that's the most important thing. HB
Yes she does.... people have told us that she is like my clone... her birthday is tomorrow!!!
oh my :) well happy birthday to her too Did you scratch off the tickets yet?
I now have it -- I actually looked and looked for it. Thank you GW. Done. Laughing is very good on your birthday mamabear, or any other time for that matter.
I have been taking Musinex (?) it is supposed to break up the congestion and make coughing "more productive". I am still coughing but not as much but it sounds like I have a traffic jam in my chest when I do... I'm growing very weary of this whole sick thing.
any clues for the sp6?
Yes I did - I won $10 and 3 free tickets ... so about half of the tickets were winners!
Hang in there Mamabear, it will go away.
thanks JoJo!
I finally went back to work today, was off all last week. I understand exactly how you feel mamabear. I'm still coughing.
That's good, MB. It means that you are indeed getting well. The yuk has to be gone, rather than just sitting in your chest. That sounds odd, but you know what I mean.
doxy - put an S in front of the pe5 that I asked for
Hey GW, remember that job opportunity I told you about in Long Island that I thought was a dead issue?
Mama, you getting plenty of rest? Warmed drinks also break up congestion such as any type of tea and chamomile works miracles is your throat is hurting
Yes, Mama :)
thank you GW.
And you must do the chopped and boiled galic mini-sauna; it really does help.
doxy - you too? I have had this whatever it is since Christmas Eve. Was going to go to dr. today but didn't want to spend my birthday that way and I'm hoping it will go away on it's own....... the weather is dreadful here and I think going out would make it worse.
sorry to hear you've been ill, doxy. :(
Yes MissyMe - been sleeping, but the sleep is broken up because of coughing and other aches and pains. Today is the first day in a week I didn't take a nap in the afternoon. Tried to stay up all day for my birthday!!!! Good Lord, how pathetic a life!!!!
started coughing Christmas Eve. Had laryngitis from Monday til thursday. Also have bronchitis. I get it every year. Last year had it for 2 months. I went and got prednisone right away so I wouldn't have to go for 2 months again.
mab - and it sounds like it would keep away evil spirits as well!!! LOL
Mama -- I know you said you don't like tea, but Kirsten suggest that you try Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger with a little added lemon juice and honey -- it doesn't have the same taste as standard Tetley Blak Pekoe tea, so you may find it palatable :) Also -- add some extra garlic into your diet -- it has wonderful recuperative attributes :)
Panic mode has set in. I still have 30 words and am afraid that Dr. God will turn off in 1/2 hour...
doxy bronchitis is very serious :( It seems once you get it you easily get it again every time you get a cold
I knew coming on here would make me feel better - you all are so kind are caring..... thank you
Perhaps, mama. It also makes people back away a bit. But the garlic has antiseptic qualities. I do believe it helped me greatly one year when I had the galloping bronchitis.
missy, i also have asthma when I get sick. It really makes the cough linger. the good thing is when the doc listens to me when I go in. I usually know what i'm talking about.
I wrote down that tea, GW - tell Kirsten thank you!
mas we'll help you through the tough ones. I'm wondering if Dr. God is now waiting to shut the site down just before or after the grid change...
Missy - that is the nature of bronchitis -- it weakens the immune system so that you are more susceptible to it in the future
mamabear, that's partly why homemade chicken soup is supposed to be so good. Its the garlic and onion added to the broth.
doxy...I had a couple heart attacks recently...it wasn't the pain that scared me...it was not being able to breathe...I empathize with you. What a horrible feeling not being able to catch your breath!
Thanks MissyMe. I'm not sure if I have it in me tonight. It is really snowing hard here and the cable T.V. has gone out and that usually means the computer will follow shortly.
LOL - doxy -- back when we were on Long Island, Kirsten had the same kind of rapport with her doctor --- she would go into his office after ahving done the proper research and ask him for a particular treatment and every time he would concur --- being a nurse does have its advantages :D
mas my ISP keeps going out on me too. Happens when we have too much rain. Well, just sit back and relax and enjoy some good Babble chat :)
I am doing better this week. Last week it was hard to breathe during any exertion. i made all the way through work with only 1 bad coughing spell. started losing my voice again though.
((((doxy)))) You on meds for your asthma or have a breathalizer?
GW, that is for sure. I have left a doctor's practice for having them blow me off. Don't blow me off. I don't go in for every little thing, only when I need to.
where are you mas? I am in Illinois - we had thunderstorms and 3/4 inch hail today and heavy rain
Wow Mama...that's nasty weather!
I have an inhaler I use when i need to. I did find some leftover advair I didn't know I had, and started that today. I think it helped.
doxy - I am so sorry for you - I can't imagine having asthma in addition to what I have now. It is hard dealing with chronic type problems.
Personally, I think that Dr. God is going to do all the updates after 10:00pm, or he would have done it before. You guys are good for the duration of time in your time zone. I am guessing of course. But what the alert said was 8:00 CT, that is 7:00 pacific, and I am still on. My bet is they are going to update after 10:00 PM. Nite to all.
I'm in Utah. I drove my son to the ski resort today and the had 2ft. of new snow up there. It wasn't fun.
nite JoJo!
good...that will dilate your bronchial tubes and give your body a chance to heal, relieve some of the stress it's under
mas, what part of Utah. I'm in South Jordan
...still typing, I'm in the L's... MB - we drink Lemon Zinger every day, I use 8 teabags per gallon, and make about a gallon every 2 days. No sweetening. We drink it now at home instead of soda. Like it a lot!
G'nite JoJo -- always a pleasure to have you around (*Hug*)
Good night jojo :)
Doxy - I'm in Orem!
**Hugss* to all.
we're neighbors. Woo hoo. I met someone the other day who lives in Riverton.
oh really, JBs???? I imagine it is more therapeutic if it is consumed while it is hot though?
MB, for what you have, hot is better!
It is amazing to me that you have to go global to meet someone in your own backyard.
Mama you can make it up, keep it in the fridge and nuke a cup when you need it :)
Oh, GW - getting back to that job thing. I thought the whole issue was dead since my one contact does not work there anymore and I hadn't heard from the other one for months. Well, Friday, the 30th, I got an email from the other one saying he would like me to give him a call to talk to me once again about a "possible job opportunity"......
hey y'all
Hi beebee :)
I hope we're not passing this on to our buddy babblers. Went to the Dr. Dec 20th. He prescribed FEXOFENADINE, generic for Allegra. Started feeling better within a couple of days. My daughter came down with it a few days ago. Hope you all get better soon. : )
mas -- even before the internet, my family kept running into the same syndrome -- whenever we would go away for our summer camping trips, we would invariably run into some one from the Long Island area :D
beebee Is that icon an artistic rendering of a galaxy?
hi beebee! I usually don't drink anything hot - I have rosacea and drinking hot liquids usually aggravates it, but I think I will try this Zinger stuff.....
Mama -- sounds good... Sound real good --- want me to send some mojo your way?
mama- i don't recognize you w/out a bear icon! hey missy - gw- doxy- jb-and eveyone else
beebee - isn't your icon that picture that was on the NASA site called the "Eye of God"?
Mama -- I don't know anything about rosacea except the the face reddens, it it uncomfortable?
Mama, please tell me you're not getting rosacea inside your mouth too...:( how horrible! Or is it around and on your lips?
beebee - please REFRESH (and anyone else who wants to!) - this was my icon until midnite on New Year's Eve.
mamabear, something I usually try when my chest is really congested and I feel like sh4/5. Mix up some lemonade and heat it. Drink it hot. Then go to bed. you sweat like crazy, but you feel better later.
yes, GW, the face reddens and gets very warm to the touch. It is uncomfortable. Can be brought on by a number of things. One time I had chili at a church potluck dinner and something in it triggered a bad reaction. My face was so warm, I put a cold can of soda on my cheeck, and the can became warm ...
missy- lol, it's a ring nebula- a dying star
yes, GW, mojo!!!!
sorry i'm slow- we've been having a storm and it keeps messing up my connection
Oh wow! I didn't realise it was so bad -- the commercials that were on TV seemed to trivialise its symptoms...
beebee you get it off Nasa's site?
I'll add to GW's mojo...the more people positively concentrate the stronger it is
beebee -- there's a lot of that going around tonight -- it's no prob
Missy -- by any chance are you pagan?
mama- i don't know if it was on nasa's site. missy- i got it from www.space.com- the photos are amazing- check it out
anyone have a clue for the SA7?
thanks MissyMe! I have such mixed feelings about the whole issue..... my life is a blender filled with turmoil these days!!!!
No but I understand the juxt behind sending positive vibes
mas -- if something is kinda sorta like the sa4 before it, it is sa7
mas- sa7 sa4/4(the one to season food)+ a suffix(he's self***, he doesn't share)
sa7/32 take sa4/4 above it and add a not so self"ish" suffix to the end of it ;)
i guess site never DID go down, eh?
no, mon!!!!!
Cool, Missy -- I asked cos of the others I have met on the log :)
mon I wasn't here for a while fixing dinner but apparently it didn't go down in my absence. The warning from Dr. God is still up anyway
mama- that's a icon i can recognize you by- it's cute
Are you pagan GW?
moncrunchr -- if I weren't Babble's Greatest Gentleman, I could have SOOOO much fun with that straight line :D
Maybe the good Dr. had more urgent matters to attend to .... like an emergency disc-ectomy!!!! LOL
lol Mama you're punny this evening!
LOL GW :D
yeah, well, GW, they don't call me MonCrunchr for nuthin' either.... ;)
i hope the plan isn't to go down when it's puzzle change
lol I see your play on words and raise you the second fe4/8
Yes I am, Missy for nearly 18 years -- been studying Eastern philosphy informally for the past 12 or so as well
I watched the movie "40 Year Old Virgin" tonite...... so..... LOL, GW!!!!
beebee that would suk the big one, (do what you will with that GW, lol) I do my best babbling just after the new grid is up
Missy = ROFLMAO!!!!!
lol Mama...there is actually a movie named that?
Yes - it was really quite funny.... a 40 year old MALE virgin!!! Had 3 friends trying to "solve" his problem....
awww Well...did he "solve" his problem?
The scary thing is I knew a gentlman who was a virgin until he was almost 30... one of the nicest guys you would ever meet -- unfortunately I lost touch with him on not so good terms years ago
Eventually.... he met a girl who worked at the store across the street (he worked at an electronics store) and they decided to wait until after 20 dates to have intimate relations.... the 20th date came and he didn't(lol).... he ended up marrying her and was a virgin on his wedding nite!!!!
Okay GW, just read your profile...you're right...we have a lot in common and you have a VERY wondeful, positive life view. Too bad we can extract it, concentrate it down and add it to the world's water supply!
...still typing, on the E's, finally got the 8's in!
Mama...that was DEFINITELY a chic flic lol Guys would be throwing things at the screen when he refused on his 20th date
JB those were fun to do. Lots of right top corner hunting there :)
i understand the "wait" til your married thing- but, i would never buy a car w'out driving it, or a house without looking in it and would never spend the rest of my life doing the "deed" with someone before i knew what i was getting into. LOL
Hey, MBear, I just caught my cat Paddywhack drinking my husband's leftover Lemon Zinger. He left his glass in the living room, right behind me, and I heard a lapping noise. She was dipping her paw in and then licking it off. So cute! and so bad!
LOL - he made excuses and didn't want to tell her why he didn't want to - he was embarrassed. When he finally did tell her, she was touched. He said "I guess all this time I was just waiting to meet you" (gag, cough) what a line, huh?????
beebee The idea of ending up with someone you're not compatible with in the bedroom really does argue for some premarital "problem solving" :)
Missy - I would be willing to try except for the dramatic impact that would have on my personal health -- extraction--- Owiee!! I'll settle for being one of Babbles resident gurus ;)
missy- amen sister :)
OMG Mama...your right...did he catch any cod fish with that line? lol!
nope - just the credits rolling as they kissed in the middle of a busy intersection and her right leg raised up...... yu know the scene!!!
GW Since I've been here I have thoroughly enjoyed your happy and sweet spirit...it shines right through the internet :)
JBs - let me know if Paddywhack is coughing at all!!! LOL If not, I'll give it a try!!!!!
only have 2 left.
And there - in one line - is the reason why I can't stand that type of movie --- I don't like trite cliche one joke movies -- if I am not willing to put up with it for a half hour sitcom on free TV, why would I spend 10$ to waste 2 hours of my life?
Mama...lol Usually a scene like that doesn't include the leg but I guess they had to convey the idea of OMG I AM SO DESPERATE FOR S-E-X!!!!
go doxy- go doxy- go go
Go doxy go!
go go go...go doxy go!!! No stay...and finish the puzzle!
Finished. Woo Hoo!!!!
It wasn't my first choice either, but was just a silly nonsense type movie - and it didn't cost me anything.
good job doxy!
way to go doxy
Yayyyy for doxy!!!!
Yay Doxy!!!! %*%*%*%fireworks*% *%*%*%
Go Doxy - for both of us. I got so sidetracked reading the log that I forgot there was a puzzle!
Thank you, thank you *taking a bow*
with plenty of time to spare, even!!!
Nope, she's sleeping now (like I should be...) on the A's, finally! I'll check my stats in a minute. I know I'm missing some already: la 6/21, (3rd one), and the la 4/4 right after; sa 6/27; and a bunch of sh's (not the stinky ones, though!)
sometimes i like the cheesy movies- takes my mind off other things- and i can always laugh that someone actually paid big bucks to make the movie- oh, the joys of life ;)
?
mas -- that's another T-shirt! "I would've finished if the chat hadn't been so absorbing!"
GW, I have an acronym for those kind of shows: TSTW: too stupid to watch!
this was a fast one for me, considering I worked today. I usually don't get to finish these "long" ones when i work.
that is a fun topic....making up tee shirt titles "I pluralized and all I got was this lousy tee shirt!"
Now it's guilty pleasure admittance time -- I will most likely get sucked into watching it when it hits cable ;D
"Fish...it's not just for eating..."
i agree - with beebee and JBS.... I watched the second Harry Potter movie this afternoon - enjoyed that one much more. I never watch TV normally, but because of being off work and being sick.... decided to watch a couple movies....
The chat is faster than entering words!
I have no desire to see that one. My hubby and I usually go see a movie every week. It's our date night. Well, at least out of the house together.
la 6/21 take the la4 before it and add what the stinky s's start with
Hey folks... have you heard about the millionaire who married a dolphin!?!
The Harry Potter movies are a kick. I'm looking forward to dragging someone to the theater to see Narnia
Or like the chapter for GW's book.... "one fish, two fish, red fish, plural fish"
GW...go on... no I haven't...
missy, i'll go with you.
lol Mama clever!
sa 7/32?
la 4/4- you do la** in the pool- change the 3rd letter to a t
here's the link -- apparently it did make national news, but since I don't watch the news, I missed it http://www.ynetnews.com/ar ticles/0,7340,L-3191923,00.htm l
doxy! Alright. No one else around here likes adventure/fantasy/comedy/drama /whatever movies so I either go alone or wait until it comes out on DVD
take me, MissyMe!!!!!!!!!! (and doxy)!! I'll buy popcorn!
GW - I thought you were beginning a joke????
sa6/27 take the sa4/7(secure) and make it the most it can be
there have been a few movies that my hubby wouldn't go to with me, so I went alone. Sat there with my popcorn and diet coke and enjoyed every minute of it.
Hmm, got that la 4/4, must be the 4/8. Checking stats now, processing, please wait
finally back from the mall....8)
Oh, loved the Narnia movie! Definitely worth the $10, GWoulf!
Mama -- I wish I were joking
hey ren
queen barbie.....funky barbie
thank you!
Mama...great :) Ill supply all the candy in my purse to save us some cash GW...that story...it is....CWAZY like a lune!!! and she's (and I quote)..."not a pervert" lol!
oh yeah....groovy barbie!!!!
Thanks, beebee! Got it!
this world is one bizarre place
Hi ren!! (*hug*) JB -- I would love to see Narnia but with the baby due in 4 weeks, I don't think we'll get the chance :(
NINE WORDS LEFT!!!!!
go jb go
Ren, are you back after an absence or have you been working on the puzzle this whole time?
and I have to get up at 5am, yikes! Vacation is OVER, folks. (sad face)
wait until it comes out on DVD, GW and you can watch it one night during the 2am feeding!!!!! LOL
JB go go go :)
hey ((wolf))
jb- i'm sorry- call in sick -haha
ren, cool barbie
It'll be a good rental, too, GW, but there's nothing like seeing a movie for the first time on the BIG screen. Congrats on the upcoming arrival! Another Babbler, perhaps? Okay, gotta get cranking on those last 9...
missy - i've been at the mall shopping....dining...and i will not do anything else tonight except sleep.... 8(
JB yeah my son just poked his head in the door to remind me to make his lunch for him for tomorrow
Can't ren, I have TOO much to do this week, lots of deadlines!
did anyone see history of violence? it didn't come to theaters here- i'm waiting for dvd
JB -- which sh's do you need?
Ren well I hope it is sound, restful sleep for you...wake up tomorrow refreshed :)
or which do you have, if that is easier?
no I did not beebee......
beebee No I didn't and are they kidding? How the heck did they fit in the complete history of man from his first inception, whenever that was?
nite all :O
beebee, i did. it was good. Bloody, but good story about brothers sticking together.
nite ren- sweet dreams
JBs - deadlines are evil... I think that's partly why I am sick.... worked too many hours and was run down and very vulnerable.
G'Nite Ren -- see you tomorrow Sweet Dreams (*HUG*)
nite ren.
Nite ren sleep well, deep and blessed :)
missy lol
GW, missing one of the sh 4/5's between the first 2 5/14's
good nite ren!!!! *hugs* sweet dreeeeemmmmmzzzzzz
Could use some help on the last few st 5/12's. I have not fresh, and entries. What else is there?
sh 4/5' this is a bunch of lady-type females called sh**
Missing sh 6/21 as well Nite, ren!
doxy- i thought it would be good, but you never know- but, even it sucks- viggo is fine- so, that'll make up for it
jb, do you have the one similar to a work meaning ready to pick ri**
Yup, got that one, doxy!
that would be either the plural of the female pronoun or the front of the lower leg
good nite all..... I will be tempted to wait until the flip if I stay and I really should be sleeping...... have a good nite *hugs to all* and sweet dreeeeemmmmmmzzzzzz... and thank you all for the birthday wishes!!!
sh6 - plural of sh5 meaning a young pig.
nite mamabear. Feel better soon.
Nite, MBear, Happy Birthday wishes and hope you feel better!
Sleep well tonight MAMABEAR
nite mama- sleep well- i'll see tomorrow/today- hope you feel better
Also need the last sh 5/12. Got those you mentioned, GW.
Mama -- go get some well deserved rest -- we'll be here for you tomorrow (*HUG*) Peaceful Rest and Recuperative Slumber I wish unto you :)
st 5/12 if you got st4/4 which sounds like the snake called a *** constrictor...the next two words that follow are forms of it with the first being a two-vowel ending and the second being the usual plural ending the last st5/10 means like a very strong or st*** beer, as an example...
went and saw "The Producers" this last weekend. Very funny.
goof- st 4/4 st+2 vowels
Hi Everyone -- just checking to see if the game was back up -- doesn't look like Dr. G did his repair work after all?
Mama bear Please rest, hon...keep off your feet and only get up to drink liquids and other necessitieis. Be well! ((((((mamabear))))))
beebee -- I don't know about you, but my intro to Viggo was as Satan in the movie Prophecy, a role he portryed wonderfully, but ever since then, I can't really see him as anything else -- made watching Lord of the Rings interesting :D
cybernan Hi We're thinking he didn't because the warning is still up
jb - do you have what you wear on your feet?
doxy, would that be...shuckling? (hee hee) (sorry, I'm punchy!)
hi cybernan
Thanks, I have the st's now! (P.S. It's ME! harpjane!)
Mamabear -- I gather you're under the weather -- hope you're feeling better really soon. *hugs*
goof- when you get that st- you have 3 that build from it st5/10- add a vowel to the end st5/10 st4+plural st5/10 st4 +the 2nd letter of the word
GW looking back and now realize he was Satan in that movie...and here I forgot that!!!
hey goofball AKA harpjane
JB - last sh5 is plural of the sh4 -- as in sh** of whiskey
harp- why did you change your name? incognitio?
Yup, I haven't been wearing them most of my vacation. Comfy slippers for me!
lol Hi harpjane
Hi doxy1
Hi C-nan!! (*hug*)
Hi doxy1
Hi GW
Missy - as I said I can't forget him -- he had such a minor role and he stole the show!
gw- i don't think i saw it, but i remember him the "patheic" gi jane- but, i came to love him in the unrealistic and totally fiction hidlago
I'm only goof ball when I don't have time to chat. Just got back from 3 days of skiing and I knew I wasn't going to have much time to babble.....
hey cyber
I just ordered a foot pad warmer for my internet fun during these cold winter nights :)
jb- did you finish?
Hello again, beebee -- you finished?
5 words left 1 ho 5/12, 2 L's: La 6/21, La 4/4 (next to each other in list), and 2 T's: which ones, I have no idea yet! Checking...
I just noticed that Dr. God is going to shut down at 8:00 pm Jan 3rd. For reals.
harp- i see hiding from your babble family- i wonder if that would work with my real family lol
beebee -- Prophecy is a fun flick -- it moves a bit slow in places, but the overall story is intriguing -- SciFi Channel shows it fairly often
cyber- i did- how about you?
If you change your name to goofball they will be glad to ignore you.
el 7/28?
ta 5/10, 2nd one?
GW I'm trying to think of the movie I saw recently, (Stepford Wives), where this gay guy had a t-shirt with Viggo's picture on it but when I see Viggo now all I can think about is that funny scene where the t-shirt was found
ta5/10 -- multiple stories
help, help, please! only 15 minutes left, yikes!
el 7/28 type of plastic but be sure to put the right suffix "in" with it :)
ho 5/12 it's either the thing water comes out (plural) or the party was great, you're a great ho**+vowel
JB -- deep breathes -- in -- out-- you have plenty of time -- I should know -- been in the hot seat more often than not myself :D
Missyme-good clue. Thanks!
Coming up on 9 minutes!
la6/21 -- lat + the self*** person ending
youre welcome Jane :)
la4/4 -- plural the 1st 3 I just gave
la 6-(you're la** for a very important date) change the last vowel to an i and add what poo(sh**) starts with la 4/4 take off what poo starts with
Thanks, GW! I won't be la 6/21 on this puzzle, I hope!
Just saw the change in the good doctor's notice --- Murphy's Law says that the next grid will be huuuuge!
don't you just love a good"ish" ending? :)
I hope so! I love big boards.
Then it won't hurt me too much if it is huge, C-nan -- I have promised myself that I will give the HUGE grids a bye from now on -- they eat too much of my time :)
Dr God...I know you're watching...you always are LOL on your warning !!!
I don't think the law says that you have to finish, GW!
GW I remember the huge one I did...it did, indeed take up too much time :(
jb and harp/goof- how y'all doing?
3 words left GW, you're a ho 5/12 with the mosta!
I'm good, thanks. Think I'll go slip into something more visible!
Yeah, I know, but every now and then, I have trouble practicing what I preach re: just having fun -- I get caught up in the whole turn the grid grey thing! :D
gw- can i get prophecy on dvd? who else is in it- maybe it'll jar my memory
jane lol
beebee -- I think so -- it had Christopher Walken as the archangel Gabriel and Eric Stoltz as another angel -- forget which one :)
beebee if I can get the Forbidden Planet on DVD I'm sure you can get Prophesy...every movie ever made comes on DVD now...yet another money make for those poor hurting folks in Holliweird :)
beebee, I think it is on DVD. It is in the scifi area of the rental stores.
I love Christopher Walken's acting style...just amazing. When he's on camera I'm completely focused on him
cool thanks- i love some christopher walken too- but, not so much in the last 5 years
Hello!
He's a funny guy. I'll never forget him as Bruce Dickenson in the SNL "More Cowbell" skit.
I love the dig at Walken that they did on the Simpsons :D
there is an older film (70's) that is called Prophecy also. It is about a lumber mill that is poisoning the water and animals being born deformed.
Well, I'm just gonna FLIP! because I'm lost between the 2 t's and one L I've got left...
well hello HARP- nice to see you
beebee as with all great actors...they play in stinkers once in a while :)
I love that movie GW, Prophecy, well I love Christopher Walken
which t's?
sorry jb- you'll get the next grid
