it is a hard one, dalmatian
dal there are some nice little word(s) in the lower right corner
yep...i'm slowish at 21 if you can believe it
I can usually find about 1/2 the words before it becomes difficult. I am only at the quarter mark and not sure where I am going!
35 words, no 2nd letter list, and that wall looks pretty high. Time for beddy-bye. Night all see you tomorrow... maybe.
so long hoot, take care!
later hoot!!!
nity nite hoot
Hi again all -- my camera isn't good enough to take pics of snow in the dark -- at least not without me getting dressed and setting up special and I can't since I have to wait for Seb to wake for his 1:30 feeding :)
GW mama b left a smooch for you....

my eyes are stumped on most of the I words... must be off to bed now.... see you all later...
sleep well blaze later wolfie
What??! No 'IDIC' for a word? Has Dr. God never heard of the Vulcan philosophy? Especially considering the word is perfect for babble philosophy: Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations :)
Bye GW. Bye Blaze. L's, ren? ALL the words are hiding. :/
Good Evening, Everyone
zub...the L's can go to ...welll ..
hi cybernan!
hi nan - we're still being good!!!!
t 5/24 and t 7/36
Hehe ren. I know the feeling. Rubbish grid. :/
good going dalmatian finding a 7, this grid is a struggle...
A clue for that t7 dalmatian? Or is it too early to ask? :/
The to 6 and 7 have the same root. There is no definition for the 7 but they are derived from a hydrocarbon of the aromatic series, obtained chiefly from coke-oven vapors and by distillation of coal tar. I know, that clues would not help me much either!
L 6/24
Yikes, dalmatian! :D Ok. Thanks. I'll hunt.
and if you change the last letter of the 6, you get another t6/24 from the same to4/5 base....
brandy!!!!! our viking!!!!
Thanks BJ!!!!
Phew. Got it at last. Thanks, dalmatian. Thanks BJ.
m 6/27
0 6/21
a 6/24
r 6/24
There is another to 7/36 that is from the same root of the first to 7/36.
Can't believe I'm drawing a blank on all those to's!
Blocked at only 45 words -- going to be a long day tomorrow! -- Good night, all :)
Sleep well Cybernan.
c 6/27
woo! done. i like the little ones.
Congrats Q: I am not finding this puzzle all that easy!
good morning from a grey, wet London :)
good morning sherb....it's clear and freezing here
morning ren... freezing? winter's finally here then...
We are having such a mild winter it seems we have gone right into spring. I think we have had only one day of rain this season!
sherb - friday it was shorts and tees, saturday it was sunny and cold - now it's freezing...i guess i'ts our day of winter
we've just had the driest January on record... forgot what an umbrella's for... but that's not good for the gardens... or the water supply...
this is not a fun grid.....
I second that! ...stuck on the T's... and I started from the end...
good morning all its cold and wet here
uh sherb...there's only a y before the t's.....8)
morning ruthy :D ...glad we're not the only ones getting it...
ok - i'm crashing now before this grid gets any more exciting...talk to you later....8)
later ren... sleep well :D
bye ren
just found the two 7's... that must be the highlight of today's grid... Dr God could have given us something better for today...
There are 2 "t" sixes that are rooted from those 7's.
yup... onto the S's with nothing bigger than a six to look for... we should get the short puzzles during the week...
I wore m4/6 skirts in the 70's
Morning dear gang :)
morning sprite
Welcome back Sprite.
morning sprite :D ...this grid won't detain you too long...
Argh, a small one! Just while I have a whole day for myself to babble away... I bet you tomorrow will be a huge one.
I wish we could choose the length of the puzzle each day... but I know that's not workable...
Part of me likes to be surprised by the grid every day, but I know what you mean. This would have been a great day for a 400+ puzzle :)
and yet for me.... 400 words would have been hell... I have to work on a Monday when you are all enjoying your Sunday!!
I can live with the short ones at the weekend... plenty of other things to do... but it's the long ones during the week I can't cope with after a long day at work...
Are you ahead of me in time, mrP?
what time does the puzzle start for you, mrp? about 6:00pm?
mrP has fallen of the other side of the world... ;)
Hi sherb... 5pm for me... and stats doesn't always come up until about 11pm...
and do you get chance to play during the following day?
I get home at 4.50pm.... gives me 10 minutes to find the words I am missing!! LOL... never happens!!
mrP, I have the stats panel always within minutes from the flip... or do you mean the babanon lists? So... it's 10.15 am here, which would mean it is about 8.15 pm for you now? Also a nice time, that is, if you can spend your evening freely.
... 3-4 days a week I am at work. so no... don't get a chance to play the next day for those ones!!
ah sprite!! My free evening is tonight... you are right! The babanon stats are the ones that come really late (sometimes) and that can be harrowing if the words are anything like yesterday (p's in particular!!)... so that is why I love a short puzzle on a Sunday night!
Enjoy then, mrP :) For once, you have it all to your liking ;)
sprite.... does that mean the grid is nice and easy too!!
I think the timing works well for us in Europe - puzzle comes on at about 6:00am... at the weekend, I like playing before the BabAnon stats are posted... but there's also time to play in the evening beyond midnight if we need to...
gotta go get dinner together!! See you all later!! (wave)!
I agree, sherb, I love the timing here. 7 am is a nice time to start and gives plenty of opportunities to steal some time during the day. I even could consider getting up extra early to try and finish, if need be :) mrP... I don't know, I am finding this grid a bit tough. Already feel I am running out of words to try.
later mrp :D
See you around, mrP :)
I keep thinking there should be at least one word like 'silicia', but I cannot make a valid one.
having only 2 7's makes the grid a little dull...
True. I found them hard to find, though. I love the grids where you look and look for the biggies, and then all of a sudden you find a lot of them, all fommon words. This is almost like work :)
this is full of Greek and Latin words... all those vowels...
fommon = common LOL Yeah, just found the L4/6 hawaiian one. Little b@stard.
well, I'm going to leave the rest for later... enjoy your day sprite :D
Bye sherb, you do the same :)
hey sherb...good on ya...bowie!!
Missed her.....How are you Sprite...it's Bowie Day by my request.....
eeerrrrrr what a horrid puzzle
morning all! Had to decide on Jareth for a pic today cos I couldn't find the pic I wanted from AShes to AShes :(
hi Atalante :)
looking for bowie pics is more interesting than this puzzle today - its a strange one
I agree, spent ages last night.....
can anyone please help me!!! I am on my last word and for the life of me I CAN'T SEE IT!!! it's the id 4 5 thanks so much
The thought came to me and I got it. thanks anyway.
morning all
Morning, Sha. Nice little grid today.
not too bad at all
thats me finished how u doing ruthy?
The first word I *saw* was 'guilty' which, of course, isn't quite there, and the second was a di6/24 which we won't talk about and also isn't quite there. LOL.
Morning all...
lol jacula : )
hi caitlin
Prynhawn da, Caitlyn.
jacula brilliant !! I dont speak Welsh but i understand that !!
my thoughts exactly caitlyn
Do you feel guilty not speaking Welsh sha ?
Pity 'Idris' isn't an accepted word.;-) Not 'flowery' enough, I guess.:-)
no to complicted know a bit
welsh not used all that often anymore
how about u caitlyn
Our caravan friends always speak it! They only speak English when we are around.
My last post was a clue to an easy ir4, btw.
Saw the same second di____non-word Jacula. Most interesting non-moment of this puzzle. This is the kind of obscure vocabulary I don't have-no classical latin education for me. French, and where does that get me I ask you?!
Eva - My French and Welsh are rusty, and my Latin was never that good. I get by though.
Hi eva I must say David Bowie doesnt look very well in your icon!!!
I seem to have hit a small wall at 54 words. It's probably time for me to walk away and prepare the dinner vegs.
no welsh or latin. reasonable French, increasingly poor Hebrew, a small dose of Spanish and that's it.
I think that David has never looked better or furrier.
Good Morning !!, We got tons of snow here. And it is still snowing!! It is pretty but not looking forward to digging my car out so I can get to work tomorrow. Really glad for once that I have no major plans for today.
im off to my parents now 4 lunch speak 2 u all later
I'm envious Peri. Here we are in supposedly snowy Vermont and not a flake!
Hi Peri. Snow? Brrr! It's nice when you can look at it from a cosy house or play in it but not when you've got to travel.
'Bye, Sha. Enjoy your lunch.
thanx jacula bye all
Bye sha
the i____ & the odyssey is there
And the plural, Eva. Thanks!
hadn't seen the plural-thanks!
HI, Eva, you can have all of the snow. I don't want it. I am watching the news to see how much snow we have at the moment. Looks to me to be about 6-8 inches of snow
any clues for the 7's?
Keep warm periwinkle!! Im off now lunch needs seeing to! Back later
Good day, all ^_^
Sorry, Eva. Got no 7's yet. Hi Gramma.
morning Gramma
the 7s are white crystalline substance, complex double derivatives of glycocol. Both TP7/36
atalante-did you means ty?
70 words here and time I stepped away for a while. TTFN.
TO - sorry - can't type!
googled the definition and still couldn't find it.
Atalante, I googled your def. and found Zip. Help please?
gramma... take the to...and behead the word for water or any substabce you can drink...then build from that
the full chemical definition contains pretty much the exact word ... let me think ... there's a TO6/24 which is what you pay go over over a bridge minus the last letter + the last vowel + something you carry that contains your essential information (like whether you can drink or not LOL). The 7s have different letters on the end
hi everyone! now who is it said they want this snow? her you go: (it's a whiteout here)
got the 6 from your definition, but still no clue for the 7's.
Eva, just add a different letter on the end of the 6 for each of the 7s
hello everyone.....I just got the 7's from your clue Atalante....thank you :)
they really are dumb words!
Thanks! was heading in the wrong direction with the wrong i.
they don't even look right !!
Having been given the gift of the 7's I need to pass my gemerosity on to the cat who is convinced, despite the fact that he looks like he has swallowed a bowling ball, that he is about to perish of famine.
they don't!
LOL eva !!
lol, eva!
HAHA... Labyrinth Avatar.. cool movie.. very cool soundtrack
morning all
Eva! I have one of those too! Amazing how cats tend to almost faint from starvation five times a day
hi there mia :)
ahhh- i still only have the 7 you gave the detailed clue for, eva *sigh*
Temple...its the same word just a different letter on the end
I mamaged 2 6's and a 7 out of all that. TY. Are there supposed to be 2 7's?
yes gramma....2 7's
gramma change the last letter of the to7 you have
to what? LOL!
Finally got it. I could have died of old age before I would've ever found those words. Thanks not only for the help; but, also the patience. Shy of e-mailing me the answers, you all are so good to hold my hand thru these grids.
one is plural...the other is second vowel
change it rnadomly, Temple - you'll get there! :)
actually Gramma, I think an "emailing tricksy answers" service would go down very well!!
one cod coming right up! thanks guys!
has anyone got any 'd's from the left hand side....I don't think any exsist really !!!!
does anyone have any clues for the m's? i can't find a single one! i haven't been doing very well the last few days, is it me or have the grids not been that nice?
lol, atalante! there are always those days...BTW how many in this one?
I would never, ever have got them if it hadn't been for Atalante !!!
Atalante, that would be awful....sign me up! I would never think again. I have NO self restraint.
107 Temple
13 vowels in this puzzle. it's just wrong.
What!! Don't tell me there are D's and M's..I thought I could rest on my laurels after those T words.
wow....fouind one !!!
I've got 2 of them - but I don't think the other 3 exist!
i keep wanting to type "druid"
I have 2 now Atalante.....and quite agree !!
which ones have you got? I've got a DA5/16 and a DU4/6
du4/6 and du4/8
and the da5/16 now !
ok, so maybe 3 exist. The other 2 still don't though, I'm sure!
di4/5 does !
ack! I should have seen that one!
got it Atalante .. . its du5/14
must do some lunch now !!
thx Karys! Will go hunting!
bye karys!
hmmm...seems everytime i "see" a word, the last letter isn't there...odd grid this one
((*Temple*)) Hi everyone :)
hi lotti! this is a funny litle one today...(so why am i serious as a heart attack right now?) *throws a grapefruit sized snowball at lotti * DUCK!
**Splat** Woops didn`t quite duck in time!!!! Guess you got a good covering then....

WOW......a covering and more!!!! My kids would be in their element.....Yeah good luck with the shovelling!!
ty : )...what's your icon?
It is Bowie looking beautiful in my opinion......(perhaps too in touch with his femenine side!!!!!)
been here long? i have 60 and am about to go to babanon for a list...good clues for t's and d's below...
morning! what fiend put this grid together?
I`ve got 40 ....... had 3 power cuts this morning which threw my internet out for a while, so i gave up and went to do my ironing :)
LOL hi angel!
Hi Angel......it`s not pleasant is it?!!!!!!!
not a bit pleasant. which is a good indicator of just how addicted to Babble I am. Were I not, I'd have departed the minute I saw the grid.
Why are you having power cuts Lotti?
LOL Angel.....so i`m more the fool as i came back for more!!!!!!! :D Spellit, I don`t know. The weather isn`t that bad, so i`m clueless !!
whoa! just got booted out!
hi spellit...
Wasn`t me Temple.....not guilty!!!!! I`m keeping my power cuts on this side of the pond!!! Was it anything to do with your weather, or just the site???
i can't tell...i can tell you the list helps some - but there are some puzzlers!
IM6/27? Anybody have that 1 and could help me, I'd appreciate it. TY
au4, anyone?
1st word in the title of a song sung on new years eve
Sounds like a word for aged...
gramma just add on to the one above it for the 6
Sherylr, got it . thanks 8)
morning all does anyone have a clue for me for the is 6 pls
Gramma...ir6 has the same ending :)
tahnks gramm, lotti...
this grid is an excellent demonstration of the teamwork and camaraderie on Babble. No one would want to do this alone, in my opinion.
Sherly is + ch4/6
Now thats a word I use everyday, lol ty macuser
lol Sheryl, it is a strange one
This grid is an excellent demonstration of the camaraderie and teamwork on Babble. Seems to me no one would want to do this one solo.
I agree, Angelsong. I couldn't do it alone.
gramma, cool icon!!
hi une1 run away! run away before it sucks you in...LOL!
this may be the most bizarre one i've seen!

Everyone does this! di4/5 - sadly
Angelsong think cd

LOL Jera!!!
That's me done so ad5/12 to you all. Off to watch Wales v Scotland Rugby! Back later
Have fun spellit ^_^
Jera,That was a perfect observation of this grid.
Okay, riddle me this... ad5 is okay, a spanish word, but chopping off the a to make another spanish word is not allowed?? The inconsistencies drive me crazy...
jera! LOL!
first di4/5? I missed it somehow.
di 4/5 is what spellit and I were just talking about. scan down a bit
I'm assuming you need the second di4/5, right? di + opposite of new, minus last letter
Sorry, you said the first one, didn't you. I need to read before write
I actually did get the di4/5 from Jera's post.

Hi macadam, nearly finished. It's a much better grid than we've had for the last couple of days
last two ha's? I've monkey-typed until my fingers are sore.
Good heavens. I'm already sorry I started this one. Not really, but I hope there's a second letter list out there!
Back in a mo.The mouse needs new batteries.
ExWren - I think this the first that I've seen you since your grandchild was born... Congratulations!!

hi Ex Wren 30 to go but it`s a struggle.
ty macuser! bye lotti, hi eb...ch6please, someone?
Thank you EB. I don't usually chat until I've finished the grid, I'm usually to busy trying to figure out non-existant words! Of course the baby is beautiful, but what more can you expect?
ch6 add you & me to the end of your ch4/6
xwren: that's lovely...your first? boy or girl?
I seem to be finding words ending with abbreviated Richard.;-)
No, he's my 8th, will be christened Charles Joseph, but known as Charlie. They were told to expect a girl, so was calling it Millie (Amelia), but at the moment of birth, the Midwife exclaimed "Oh! Millie has a willy"!!
LOL! no way!

macadam: what scenery is painted on...rhymes with word for dour..., jera - 12 inches and still coming!
Jera - from what height did you throw the cat?
From the doorway of our back door, there are three steps... so not far. It's a family tradition for new cats actually, but we haven't had one of those in some time. This could very well be Zack's last Winter, so I'm making sure he lives it up, heh-heh-heh...
Where are you TO... I'm near DC
I had visions of a cat hurtling down from an upstairs window - a feline version of the ski-jump!
between philly & bethlehem- closer to philly
I'm very proud of myself today... I've never done a Babble grid in one sitting before! I'd never do such a thing, Haz! Although I did have a great time watching the Olympic thrills yesterday... not for kitties, though...
does the cat like snow? *misses having a cat. considers running out to the shelter*
I don't think he cared for it much, he's turning into a real old man who likes to doze by the hearth 23/7. But he's been very adventurous this past year, wanting to go outside all the time, so I figured he should go experience the joy of our first real snow...
You`ll enjoy the snowboarding Jera. Thanks for the help.Bye everyone.
i have to go - i suddenly feel amibitious to clean - mustn't let the feeling pass..see you tomorrow!
bye macadam!
Well, the Sprite is begging for wome puter time, so I think I'll go have my nap & watch some soapies from last week... they pile up so quickly! Macadam, I'm looking forward to cheering on The Flying Tomato!!

don't worry sheryl, just found it....... *stares up at ceiling for an eternity*
been there, lol
have a good day all see you tomorrow
morning, babblers.
Hi, all from snow covered PA, we got 10" of the white stuff.
Afternoon, hursh..... (It's nearly 16:30 GMT here....)
See you all on the flip :)
of course, sorry europeans. :) what is with the puzzles lately? so hard. not long, necessarily, but hard.
Need a clue for the di5/18 now....
not clear - ly movieman
Never mind, just got it again..... (Don't you hate it when that happens?)......
Movieman, di5 - how you adjust your lights
da5/16 and ha5/16 anyone?
nevermind, have the da5/16 already
da 5/16 you should brush your teeth twice da5
add a consonant to your da4/5
sorry peri, I meant ha4/5
still working on the ha5/16, what about the ha6/33?
exwren - add a consonant at the end? or elsewhere? it isn't working...
ha5/16 - add a consonant at the end of the ha4/6 previous. Then you'll know what you have to do to get the right point value for the ha6/33.
ahhh... 4/6, not 4/5
I'll just keep quiet, I'm confusing everyone. Trouble is, by the time I've gone to the bottom of the page, I've forgotten what I was going to say, call it a senior moment
last di5?
du5/14 anyone?
di5 - odd plural of the previous di4
hmm, interesting. thanks. how about the du5?
du5/14 - apparently means an inferior kind of worship, but it's like actress Roberts, with a d instead of a j
thanks vi - i love clues i can follow :)
You're welcome!
43 words left to find, time to take a break and clear the snow off of my car, what fun 8)
im 6 any relation to im4?
ah yes it is, i got it!
Finished!
congrats, angel. now gimme a clue for is6. :)
hurshy: IS + the ch4/6
thanks angel. how do they expect us to GET these? i mean, i could use morewords or something. but i like it better when there are more words i know (no pun intended there)
is6, an Italian Island
this grid was tough for me.
ugh, i should have found this by now, but... li5?
Hurshy - li + 2nd part of exercise regime Tai ***.
thanks jac, that was my last one. i think i had monkeyed every possibility but that.
(Chinese fruit - usually spelled with a 'y'.)
y/w, Hurshy.
Afternoon Been monkey typing for awhile but am not coming up with the ir6/24 any help lovely blizzard today!!!
ir6 just like im6 - a lot of things today have this adj ending
any clue for the lu/6? i have the one with the third consonant in the third space.
OK Hurshy still don't have the im6 or the ir6 yes I am completely out of it today....sorry for being so dumb will blame it on the snow!!!!
lu 4/6 An elaborate Hawaiian feast featuring traditional foods and entertainment.
thank you. i was blind and didn't see that other u. speedfreak... how many snow days have you had? we've had 2. the timing of this one isn't good.
finished
This is our first big snowstorm this year, so can't really complain, so far no days off from school...hopefully this will be cleaned up in time for tomorrow...do not want snow days this year...we only have 5 days till Feb. vacation anyhow
we only have 5 days left, too. i wouldn't mind having tomorrow off though.
lalo: Where are you and where do you teach?
i'm in bath, maine. elementary school social worker. we chatted a few months ago.
my friend has a job similar to yours.
Sorry forgot.... if we don't have snow days we get out June 13....last year we went till June 30 and went back before Labor Day...short summer!!!
that's what we said.. we only had july off. we got out june 27. i don't know when we get out this year.
Are you getting as much snow as us over a foot or is this a coastal storm?? Now is New Hampshire the only state that has school vacation the week after us??
i'm on the coast. we're supposed to get a foot. i know NH has the week after, but a lot of places only get one break between xmas and the end of the year. i have a friend in SC. they get the week off before easter. they have to make up 2 snow days, so they make them up that week they are supposed to be off. can you imagine only having 3 days off between xmas and the end of the year?
greetings from sunny AZ! can I get clues for the last di 4/6 and di 5/14, please?
what town are you in? i don't remember, just that it's in mass.
I'm in Kingston, right next to Plymouth on the water..That would make a very long year without time off between Xmas and the end...usuallly I find Jan. long but this year seems to be flying by
OK Chic rub in the sunny weather today!!! lol
I'm originally from East Coast. We went to school even if there was 3 ft of snow. I even drove school bus in 2 ft of snow.... Glad those days are over!
Afternoon/Evening all....
Hi Caitlyn, others seemed to have stepped away for the moment...
chic did you get the di4/6 ?
di 4/6, shooting craps, and olympic throwing the di4/6 although they usually us a 6 letter word with a latin ending...
Good morning all -- back again to beat my head against the wall over those to's
the second to4/5 is the root for all of the remaining to's. Adding the third vowel to all but the last which has a consonant instead.
hello folks... anyone have im 6/27? is 6/24?
Thanks, Brandyjack -- how many to 6's are there? -- I have two 6/24's, but thought I saw a post last night saying there was a to 6/33?
im6/27 - adjectival form of the previous im4 is6/24 - a bone of the pelvis, includes the funny consonant combo in school, then a couple of vowels
leslieann - im + not the 'ego', but Freud's _ _ + frozen water (minus the e).... the ir is the same ending
aha! thanks guys. take that, i's!
cyber - 2 x to 6 2 x to 7
Thanks, Eastern -- found the 7 that builds from the second 6
cyber - you're close to the other 7 then....drop the last vowel, change to a consonent!!
ri6/24 and so6/21 anyone?
Thank you, Eastern and Brandyjack -- got them all!
ri 6 - rags to ri****
Guess it's time for me to break down and have a look at Brandyjack's list!
thanks LeslieAnn
peri - ri 6 - wealth so 6 - add a vowel to the one that is so _ _ _ (as a rock)
EB, where do I add the vowel, middle or end?
perI - to the end....
Hiddy ho, neighbors. I hate David Bowie, so my icon today is of Jim Bowie (no relation).
hi Judi!
thanks EB
Can't get the longer T words even with the clues, more help please
peri - do you have the to 5/12??
EB, nope don't have that one yet
ok...here we go!!
to 4/5 to + skip to my _ _ _ (only drop the o)
that's your base for all the others....
(lemme know when you have that...then we'll build from there!!)
okay, thanks EB, will look for them now
EB,. more help please
got the to4/5
if you need more clues, let me know...with the 'base' you can add alot of the 'common endings' that have appeared in the puzzle...
Grrrrreetings : ) What's the verdict? Trick or treat? : /
to 7/36 - you pay this at a booth when driving (drop an l) + a priest of nature minus the first letter plural
trick
found the 2 to6/24 thanks
to 4/5 base + 6 base + frozen water (minus the e) 6 base + not the ego, but the _ _ (think Freud) 7 base + not ego + another vowel 7 base + frozen water (minus the e) + plural ending
hurshy looks like you and i have the same fav david bowie movie! ;)
lol Hursh...I can never resist a challenge... : ) OK, 107 to go...
well, it's more that i know nothing about david bowie except that i saw labyrinth.
Anj - for you, it will probably be a cake-walk!!
eb you're my hero!
please, this puzzle has a higher percentage of weird words than any i've seen before. i refuse to believe it can be a cake-walk for anyone. incidentally, what IS a cake-walk? walking on cake? walking while eating cake? walking after eating cake? walking in order to get to cake? walking with a cake perched on one's head? i can't think of any way it can be something easy.
Oh, hurshy, screw the walk and just eat the cake.
mmm, i like that advice.
hurshy - when you put it that way, a cake-walk is far from easy!! 8 D
EB, got the 2 to6 words but just can't get the to7 even with your clue, not sure what I am doing wrong
it's a homer, sir walter scott, and a paradise lost w/ a chemist thrown for added spice.....
peri - that's bc that last one about frozen water isn't right - it should be the pl of the not-ego, not the frozen water
"7 base + frozen water (minus the e) + plural ending..." ...eh?
peri - both to 7s build off the 2nd to 6 (sorry - gave a bad clue earlier) to 6 + anothEr vowEl to 6 + plural
...a-ha!
anj, the base is the second to 4/5
anj - you have to have the to4 for this to make any sense.
Thank you so much, hurshy, I was making myself crazy looking for it
Anj - my bad... hursh (and I) caught my error....
Hursh, got that...it was the 7 clue that was giving my axons angst : ) I couldn't get it to work...
Cheers EB : D
peri - I'm sorry!! That was certainly not my intent....my brain is wiggy after doing this off & on....
EB, got them, Will forgive you this time :)
no way, eb, you're still my hero :)
thanks peri!!
LeslieAnn - aw, shucks!!
..well that's the top line greyed out... : ) Calm befoie the storm? : /
definitely, anj ;)
(see hurshy...cakewalk for Anj)...
Wait til you hit the i's and t's....
alright, fine, anj, you're brilliant.
if he's got the top line greyed out he's got the T's!
Go Ahead Anj show us all up!!!
i think i may have found the L's hardest.
..er, I thought you all had the Ts : / I was racing to catch up...
Yup, I'm under the radar today, feeling yucky, can't have any coffee...sorry.
or the H's. although the I's were bad to.
well, some of us do, anj - i mean, i'm done. but we're post-grid griping.
I got lucky with the to's, I saw one used on Boggle the other day, just kinda ran with it. The rest of the grid wasn't bad at all today.
ah, bunny - (HUG) for feelin' under the weather...
...why? Is the custard tub empty??
*hurshy not sure she likes bunny anymore...*
stuggling a little...
My last t is avoiding me it is the very last one to5/12 help please
of course you are, Thomas G, you poor dear.
TY EB, needed it. I don't get ill often, but when I do, urrrg.
pl of the to4

(jk of course bunny)
I'm gonna go soak, be back tomorrow. Bye all.
oh, forgive me first bunny!

bye bunny...rest up & drink oj, tea...to feel better!!
well, here's a pollock.

Finally down to 10 lets see how long this takes me!!!

Bye, Bunny :)
it's a big day for monkey typing! nan, is + **** pet
While we are on the i's how about im6/27
speed, i + someone in an ambulance, a para*****, change e to i
speed- do you have the im 4??? if so, add the frozen water ending (minus the e)
im 6: im 4/6 + frozen cube minus last letter
good clue for the im6 and ir6 at 12:35
i hope whatever language english ripped these words from is long dead........
Thanks, leslie ... ****pet doesn't bring anything to mind, so wil leave it for now.
it's green and it grows grass on its head?? good gag gift.
it's also a ch 4/6

il 6, please?
il6 pl of il5, the _____ and the odyssey
plural of the 5?
cyber - the il _ _ _ & the Odyssey....
think homer and not simpson
Thx Hurshy had to look at the definition on that one these words are the strangest I have seen on a puzzle
see, that's what i said!
but that mi5, once i had it, i knew what it meant.
Thank you for all your help I have finished this tough grid...never would have done it without the awesome clues!!!! Anj how are you doing, almost done??

ok, so the ol's were too obvious........
BJ - my 1:23 clue didn't help?
Hello. Back from visit to Devon and babbling for the first time in a week. Stuck on last to di's. (di4/6 and 5/14). Any clues?
it just did, thanks hurshy. could have sworn I monkeytyped that one though....

congrats auntie!
*curtsies...* thank you *blows kisses*
There was an article in the Globe & Mail the other day about a fellow that is compiling all the words in the English language -- he figured we'd hit 1 million this year. I wonder if he has all the words that appear in Babble?!
someone should introduce him to babble and give him something constructive to do........... or at least take the wind out of his sails......
cyber - I wouldn't want to play Scrabble against him!! : D
Can't put the laundry and ironing off any longer...so to all who finish a big congrats, this was hard.. and to all who helped Thanks for us getting the blizzard happy shoveling!!! 12" plus
Talking of words, it's been a while since we had a really juicy one. Acousticians was the last I think...something like that.

Hey everybody!

I've only got two more than you, anj. What the tax man does and a mine entrance.
In a little village called Whimple, not far from Exeter. Went for my daughter's 37th birthday.
Duh, make that one more than you. I've been searching for an a word that is the possessive mine.

sorry mo....I'm on the other side of the pond....
I've got friends in Nottingham Mo, but that's the best I can do i'm afraid : )
Hi everyone! Finally, a grid that actually looks accomplishable! Is that a word?
Quick - looks can be decieving!!
Quick, you are going to regret that hastily formed judgement lol There are words in here that i've never seen in Babble before : /
Four to go (all clues appreciated)... ch 6/27 di 4/5 (bet. vaguely & round thing) ha 5/16 ha 6/33
Just found the ha's
cyber - ch - the clay head 'green thing" + my country abbreviation
HI, quick
di 4 - chemical compound
uh-oh
Eastern - excellent clue - helped me thanks;)
chber, the HAs are plant stems used in thatching and it's descriptive. Sounds like actor Ian H...., the erstwhile Baggins of bag End : )
Any clues for the first Mi5/16 &th Mi 6/27?
Discovered I had the ha 5, but was missing another... au 5/14 -- last one, after scottish word
I am sorry to see there is no-one local I can contact but if anyone elsewhere in the world needs any help I will be here for a while
mi's: rhyme with those plastic cards with photos and newspaper articles on them that you view through a machine in the library.
mi - nickname for Mikhail Baryshnikov plus the plural
Ahhhh...in the spirit of this grid, I am pleased to announce that it now represents a subset in the array, literature, with arbitrary values between -k and k (with aplogies to Mr Pratchett) That was a tough 107 : /
Thanks for the M's.
congrats on finishing Anj!!! btw, my mi clue was piss-poor...sorry!
cybernan ...au+what you do with a lollipop without the last letter
I knew I should have taken chem in school!

Hi boysaway - sorry no!
Boysaway s+very very cold water
Hi, boysaway. Sorry, I don't have that yet.
Thanks Mo but wanted the i above it

It's not the ic or od words clued so far as I have both and that bottom right i is not grayed out yet!
Think it must be an is word - but I dont know what the word is!
Anj, the opposite of serious is funny, right?
is6 - place in Italy, or bone in the pelvis... evening all :D
i agree with easternblue it must be an id4 word

Hello, lizzie and cath:)
Hi everyone. I'm missing 2 o's. I have the adj from olive o__, the songs from long ago and the plural, and chemical thing. Any clues for the other 2 would be much appreciated.

hi CathB.... hi Lizzie hi Eva...
Hello, eva.
hi EB-gives me hope to see you here(-:
Eva - 2 more ox's... all related to the chemical thing....
hi Smithchick-you didn't go to Smith college did you?
hi smithchick - hi snowy how are you feeling now (and dont say "still with my hands" as my mother would reply)
Eva - I finished awhile ago...just keeping my eye on the log for people who need clues!!
Oh dear, was afraid that might be true.
Hi Eva1 Drop the last letter of one of the ox 5/22s for the 4
Nope. I went to Brigham Young University, Arkansas Tech University and Henderson State University. Married a Smith:)
hello all, i'm a new babbler. i've been lurking for a week to get a feel for it all. must say, i'm not anywhere in your league but i like to "comb my brain." how many words today?
hi E B
Cath see my last post- p**d off with the curtains! Have a large glass of red tho' and all the washing up in the sink!!!!
nb - WELCOME!! 107 - some tricky buggers in there tho'!!
Thanks snowy-that did it for both of the missing buggers!
Hi, nb. Go pro!! You won't regret it!
nbjasmine -107 words today & welcome - don't worry about leagues here! there are some awesome brains - but loads of us just trundle along!!!!
LOl Eva I've still not found the other but will look now!!!
oh dear snowy not good news about the curtains - the glass of wine sounds good tho
10 left and for some reason I just don't feel like calling up Bj's list today....feels like more work than I can manage. So I think I'll go and make dinner (chicken parmesan tonight) and come back at bed time to find those last ones.
thanks EB. well i guess i don't feel so bad about my 55 that i've struggled for.
Well you know me Cath - when in doubt - leave it for another day!!! LOL Procrastination is becoming my only talent!
Bye, eva...
snowy-it's the plural of the one you gave me!
Night Eva
bye eva...
Ty Eva !!!! OOPS pass the plural fish!
nb - I'd say that's pretty slick!!! do you know about the second letter list???
hello all! Power went for 12 hours... and only just came back on... gggrrr!
hi Mr. Pres..
Hi mr.president.
nb, also today's puzzle is in no way typical! They are all hard, but this one is some alien plot to disable our brains. Ad anyway, there are always plenty of brilliant and incredibly generous people willing to help us plebes.
Hi Mr President - glad your power is back!
I've only got three t's. They are hiding from me. I have work, communicated to someone and sea movement.
hi snowy, eastern, SC... et al! glad it is on too!! Can have my breakfast!
You & me both then smithchick!
Power cuts are only fun when you're prepared for them & then not much!
can i ask for a little help please - brain not tuned in to babble after many weeks of not playing...ch6/27..thanks
its ok i have it now..
Cath - do you have the ch 4/6??
ch4 + ** not them.
ch6/27 use the first part of a word meaning tableware or large oriental country, then first three letters of mr president's country
oh a clue then Cath !!!!!!
EB, can you throw a couple of t clues?
Hey, haz. Where have you been hiding?
Ty Haz!
to 6/24 - add last four letters of word (f****) which describes water or graceful movement
thanks all
I've just come on this evening - only had a short time on earlier in the day.
smithie - there are quite a few to's...are you looking for the 6's & 7's??
to 7/36 - put a vowel on the end of the to6 for one and pluralise for the other to7/36
to4 = 1st 3 letters of the to 4/5 and reoplace the last letter with a vowel to5 then add a curvy letter to the to 4 you've created!
I now have one to6! Thanks, haz. Next up, EB's clues!
Thanks! Now just missing one t!
Done with t's!
trivia for Is 6/24 def: The lowest of the three major bones that constitute each half of the pelvis.
Hi Blaze!
Hey blaze. Your icon matches your name!
smithchick, just noticed your note that you went to BYU. Three of my four children are BYU grads.
Hi Munner!
yeah me and davie are on fire......
hi, snowy. How are you? Hi everyone.
I have finished, anyone need help?
hello munner it's been a long time since we met on the chat log...
HI Blaze. It has been a good while. I am away from home for awhile with a brand new granddaughter (and her parents).
I'm fine munner how are you?
Yep, I was too young when I went, thought and it was not a glorious experience as I had thought it would be. Too far away from home for a 16 yr. old. First, last and only experiences with bad grades were at BYU. I love it there, though. It's beautiful.
Congratulations Munner!
OH, hi by the way, munner and joey!
Munner how special to have a new one in the family congrats....
Need help with the 2nd Di 4/6 and the following Di 5/14.
Congrats Joey!
I am doing great. This beautiful little girl is better than anything that's been invented to feel good.
thanks, all, couldn't have done it without the hints from lurking.
Congrats joey and hi judi and congrats on the grandbaby, munner!!
Judi - di - they come in compact forms now. Add vowel for the 5
di 4/6 "formal name" for CD's, and then add how you address yourself for the 5 letter
Thanks. Can't believe I didn't see that one. Congrats, Munner! Just figured out from scrolling that you're a grand now.
She is our 8th grandchild making a total of 5 boys and 3 girls. Aren't I rich?
Munner you are very wealthy indeed
WOW Munner - I have 5, they are a joy -you must be busy with 8 - tho I did talk to someone who had 16!
Wow! Better start Christmas shopping now, Munner!
My mother-in-law has something like 17 grands, 5 great-grands and one great-great grand! Whoosh. Now there's a prolific family. (no contributions from me and hubby tho -and that's just fine with us).
i thought today's seemed esp. hard, but i thot it was just me. what is the 2nd letr list? is it the "ir 4/6" etc. that i see you all talk about. i have to admit, i use those and what evr else i can figure out (of the clues you guys thro out)
My mom has 19. Almost 1 great, but it was a miscarriage.
my mum has only 2 granchildren ( my 2) but has 5 greats. I'm hoping it will stay that way for a while tho.
My son swears she is the most beautiful child ever born into our family. I told him I couldn't comment on that, but he may be right. I need an objective opinion if anyone has time to check our her picture at www.hospitalportraits.com. Click on Web Nursery. She was born Feb. 6. Click on Baby Girl L and then on the magnifying glass to see her picture.
nbjasmine: there is a link to bab anon under friends of babble in upper right corner of screen... at this site there are lots of babble posting... on is a stats list of the second letter list for the puzzle of the day....
nbjasmine - on the right hand of the page you will see a column headed Friends of Babble - the last site on that list is called Babblers anonymous- When you get there click on general and then on stats. You can then copy the 2nd letter list into notepad. theres also loads of other babble stuff on there -wellworth a visit
nb - if you look on the right, under Friends of Babble - there is a link for Babblers Anonymous. Click on Bab. Anon --> then go into General --> then Daily Stats.... our friend Brandy Jack posts the lists when he can... it will provide the 2nd letter list & length of word/point value for example - di 4/5 word starts with di...has 4 letters for 5 points total (see Babble rules for the points/scoring)....
Munner - I well remember how proud I was of my first baby girl. To me and my husband she was the most beautiful child. I remember even feeling sorry for the other mothers having to show their much uglier babies off to the visitors...
Oh Munner that is a beautiful baby..... what a doll....
also, i notice a lot of david bowie today. what's up with that? i know you do themes.....
the theme list is on bab anon too....
munner - she is beautiful..
Lol, haz. She is gorgeous, munner!!! Your son is justified. I always tell mine they are the most gorgeous children born on their birthday:)
Munner - she is beautiful! LOL Haz - I felt like that too with my daughter -my son however was the image of my father (then 54) and later looked like dopey from snow white ! Now however he is just perfect!
Drat, I've only got another 30 minutes before I have to go retrieve my daughter and go to a meeting at church. Don't think I'm going to finish without bj's list. Again...
Munner - your granddaugher IS beautiful.
I have to be feeling very strong to do without Bjs list - not since before christmas now!
The thing is, those who do without BJ's list end up having to ask for clues from those who do. So why not save yourself the agony? (That was my approach to pain relief in labour as well)
hey eb - taking a break from work... what musical are you going to be tomorrow? i'm doing pirates of penzance - i think
the way my brain is at the moment I need BJ's list and A2Z plus any help thrown my way !!!
LOL Haz a girl after my own heart!
rennie - haven't decided yet...so MANY good choices!!!
Hi Renfield
That's true, haz. I like to do as many as I can without it and then break it out at the last few. Sometimes I ask for clues even after I've looked at it. It's fun to try to glean from what other people post.
Hi, Renfield!
I think i may just have to succumb to Annie - the littlies love it and the 3 yr olds rendition of The Sun'll Come Out Tomorrow has to be heard to be believed!!
rennie - do I go 'classic' like the Sound of Music...Oklahoma...popular with Cats, Les Mis, Phantom...current with Wicked or Avenue Q or Light in The Piazza??? I'm sooo torn....!!!
owwww...eb...you are torn!!!! all great!!!!
For instance, does anyone have a clue for li5?
oh, snowy - another good one (esp. since it's my real name & what my family calls me....) oh dear - we could have this for a month & I'd still have more to use for icons....*sigh*
adda vowel to li 4/6 sounds like li***nuts
li5 think chinese fruit but without the double vowel ending - add 3rd vowel instead
hey chic... annie's good!!! i love musicals!!
Just monkey'd it. Down to d's and m's.
those h's were very trying....off for a quick cuppa..back soon
li 5 - you li _ _ a lolly pop (now drop the "k") + the opposite of "bye"
Thanks, snowyowl and blaze. Hi chic!
My Fair Lady ( great costumes) - Gigi ( more great costumes) - South Pacific ( lots of men to look at!) - Hair - lots of nude men to look at!!!
I'm losin' it. I thought ren was saying hi to chic as opposed to myself. May be time for a break soon. Hmmm...
LOL snowy!!!!!
Thanks to you too, EB!
Finito! Celebrating with a Ferrero Rocher chocolate.

is thera any "X's" inthe puzzle/words today
No words begin with x but it is used in some words ox4 and two ox5s
can I have clues ox/4 and ox/5
ox 4/10 - add two letters used for passport photos, drivers licences etc. ox5/22 - plural / add vowel
can I have a clue for ch/6/27
ch6/27 - is like a combination of two enormous countries - first is oriental, second is antipodean
Does anyone have a clue for the ha6 please - have started banging my head on the wall & the neighours are complaining!
If you have the ha 4 before it, put a possessive pronoun on the end
Then take the y off for the 5/16
I was off fixing lunch. Thanks for your vote of confidence on our baby Hannah's beauty.
And she'll just keep getting prettier!
TY TY TY Haz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would swear I've tried that! Now finished and off for an early night before resuming littlie day duty tomorrow! Thanks for your great clues and company. Pleas tell CATHB goodnight for me if she comes back. Happy Babbling all

Goodnight Snowy! I'm so glad (and so are the neighbours) that you got your word. Have a good sleep!
Good timing CATH!!!! Speak to you after Brownies tomorrow!
Goodnight, Cathb. Sleep well.

I have the cutting di's...oh! just got the lights one, saw the hint as I was typing :)
du4/14 rhymes with a girl's name that starts with Ju***
The other di4 & 5 involves flat circles...
jera--thought that was the du 4/8?
The 4 is spelled like the month, but yes the same sound
oh! different girl's name LOL. got it, ty

those m's came a little too easy....what is in store... there has to be a hard section today?? the p's nearly killed me the other day!!
I still can't for the life of me get those last 2 di's. Something tells me I'm going to feel really dumb when I do. ;)
outynumbered: for the last di's: think cd for the first, and add a vowel to the end for the second one.

FINISHED!! ....nice quickie today... ;)
Hi all. I'm just checking in for a little while. I have to admit, when I started reading the log, I went all the way back to the beginning and tapped into whatever clues I could find. I'm down to about 20 words to find. -- Not all of the ones I have are from clues. May need some more help before long.<g>

Let me keep trying on the ol ones. I figured they were obvious. I usually overlook them
to 7 change the last letter to the snaky letter
i feel a song coming on ... about a farmer named macdonald
UGh I had that one To7 what is the other one?
both to 7's are the same word just a different last letter
Thanks going to go for that one and then back to the ol ones again. Was the farmer a clue? I'm feeling very dense tonight.

I have 9 to go I'll try to help you
ic5?.....ir6? ....sc5?? and not sure about the last one I need
ic 5 is more of the ic 4
Ic 5 add the sometimes vowel to the 4 ir6 ends the same way as the im 6
OOPs ic clue is wrong disregard
sc 5 is like the whale carvings without the ending
sc5 is a light fabric. sc+edge of cup
ic 5 the way I would treat an old boyfriend
or my husband because he left his socks on the floor !!
thanks cant find the ic5 .....your clues are simple enough! arrgh
I'm missing the last li4/5 and the mi6/27
work from the bottom to the top. Use the same vowel in the middle as what the word starts with.
mm the li 4/5 that is the little creature you find in your hair (hope not)
Nope got that one
I need the one between 5/14 and 4/7
aknitter, I don't think that's the last li 4/5 tho. I think it's the first?
Got it......no wonder, thats just doesnt sound right!!
sorry li 4/5 is a cover (s)
last li4/5--you buy them separately from the canning jars. They go on top.
put a li_ on it and slap it with afish
OH DOUBLE DUH I'm now going to visit the fish store. Sheesh. Didn't even look that direction.
mm perhaps you did not see it because it is an ol* li*
one more word... I need the last au5/14 ...please and thankyou
Seriously! UGH.
rhymes with what a crying baby has ---belly trouble.
or, au + what you do to a lollipop, minus the last letter
Thanks Done .....that one took way to long..for the size it was!
all red checks and all gray boxes.... think that means i'm done!!! clues anyone before I go and knit awhile?
Yeah Tim! I have three more. mi6/27, mi5/14 (2nd one) and mi4/6 (3rd one)

If you have the mi5/16 slap it

had that one I need the next one - I think.
well goodluck everyone. gotta go.....Thank everyone for the help
Sorry Tim. Denseness has set in. Any more help? I do have the 5/16
try adding an s to the mi 4 that is like the movie about the cat and dog mi** and otis
a star wars sith lord with the red and black face, with an extra vowel?
Crap. going back to bj's list. I've messed up somewhere. brb
mm is it the mi that sounds like milton burls nickname? uncle mi***
Nope got that too. What is the mi6? That might help me.
mi 6 isn't that from james bond? (only kidding) mi 6 works off the rodent mi 4, for the mi 5 add an h between the last 2 letters for the 6 wack it with the ol* plural fish
OH AKnitter!!! You are terrific! I'm done I'm done I'm done. Zero words left!
yippee and yahoo. gotta go and give the computer to mhy kid
I had missed the rodent. Once you gave me that ---- it all fell in place. I'm going to have scale marks on my forehead for the rest of the evening.
Yep. I need to go too. I promised Greg cuppacino after the kids go to bed. The 11 yo is headed that way right now. Night all.
The first mi 5/14? Anybody?
Scroll down to the Star wars reference. Or add the third vowel into a word that is something a mean dog would do.
first 5/14, see my hint at 7:38
Can't think of the name. Think I'll google star wars lord just for fun! cu soon
rhymes with a 3-letter laundry detergent, but not spelled that way
I need to brush up on my Star Wars trivia. That should have been easy! I was a movie theater projectionist in the 1970's and therefore saw the original one three times a night for eight months. I can recite any line in that episode. But I'm a little rusty on the rest!
ad 5/14?
a grownup
thank you outnumbered! I was one of those in the 70's, too! might explain my memory lapses!
LOL, don't feel bad, I was born in the 70s and I still missed that one at first.
ok...i have 35 words left and still no 7's....can anyone help? please?
Hi everyone -- just popping in to say hi and that I have finished :) Would love to stick around, but I have too much to do before getting up way earlier than I am used to, in order to start the new job tomorrow
there are 2 to 7's and they start from the same to 4/5
hmm...i must not have that particular to4/5.
that to 4/5 is an aromatic basalm. kinda like a vegetarian product but replace the consonant with a different one.
yo. i am having trouble with the ed word, couldja help me?
correcting
Just popping in to see what's up in Babbleonia..... just got home from choir concert.... it was AWESOME!!! Wonderful music.... no Babble for me today! Saw earlier today it was a mean grid :( so I left it alone! Good luck tomorrow on your new job, GW!!! *big hugs* How's everyone else?

Thanks unea!
li5/14?
li5 sweet chinese fruit
flounder time! Had the plural (with the alt spelling) but not the singular.
TADA! Thanks for those last ones Unea! This has been a ridiculous grid. Can't say I know what half of the words mean...mainly monkey brain and fingers. It would be very virtuous to look them up, but I no longer even pretend that I can remember.
i agree . . . insanely tortuous grid
last one, is 6/24? help pls
is6 - i + consonant trio + 2 vowels
dsc, ty got it...done and done
Evening/Moring, All. Any help for the last di 4/6 and di 5/14, please?
Hi everyone
dcsein:for the di4/6. think cd...then add a letter for the 5
Thanks, Owl.
Just 2 left: the last di 4/5 and the last mi 4. Frustrating grid today.
got the mi...
di 4/5-anagram of American I***
thank you! that was driving me batty. at least today's grid may a nice way to pass a snowy day.
sure thing...how much snow do you have?
Hello. Quiet grid. I have 24 to go!
We got a bit more than a foot; just enough to close most of the schools tomorrow.
hey harp, just arrived for my final 31
that's quite a bit...it was 60 here in Seattle today...strange to consider we're all one country
great kristinc, we can help each other!
sounds like a plan
we don't often get that much here at once, and it was in the 60s here just last week.
that has to be wierd! So, will you have to work tomorrow then?
yeah, i work help desk for a software company, we go in rain or shine, snow or hurricane. And the federal gov't will likely be open, which is the bellweather for employers.
gotcha...well enjoy and stay safe!
will try, thx! may i off yall any help before i'm off to bed?
So far I'm fine dc, 16 words to go and kirstin will help me! Good luck tomorrow!
thanks, and g'night to you both.
At the moment, I'm doing alright. I'm sure once you leave I'll find some strange word that I need but there's usually someone around. Thank you!
Could I get a clue for ox 5/22? I don't know if it's the first or second. I have ox 4 + a vowel.
then it is ox 4/4 plural
oh, for crying out loud! Thank you!
Harp -- drop the vowel on the one you have and pluralize
What about the OL words?
Cybernan, are you the one who went to the opera last week?
are you familiar w/ Richard Simmons, "Sweatin' to the Ol****?
So far, it's kirstinc helping harpjane! I only have 6 to go now so I shouldn't be troubling you too much longer! lol!
no worries, 6 here for me too. Usually there is more folks doing clues and they are always way speedier than me so it is nice to help at my own pace! :)
honestly, it's quieter tonight than last Sunday during the Super Bowl!
wa-hooh! That was a bugger. I'm done. I'll hang around for ya' harp!
yeah, it does seem strange. I never think of Sundays being any quieter than other weeknights. All that snow on the east coast...who knows?
Got 'em! We're at the same pace tonight, kirstenc! I'm not hanging around for the flip, I don't think. I had a long busy weekend.
me neither...just waiting to tell you congrats! Good night :)
Harpjane -- not to the opera to a concert featuring the son of a friend who performs in opera -- he was in Canada for a visit home and did a concert in Vancouver and his hometown, Kamloops, while he was here. His name is Alan Corbishly and he's heading back to England next week where he will be performing in St. Matthew's Passion and Mozart's Mass in C Minor
Well, I'm still here. I might as well wait around for the filp!
I was beginning to think I was here all by myself, Harp!
