Yes, I'm addicted too!
gr7
I can't do more than 150 pcs or my eyes cross
I havent done that one yet
I done the ship and the old farm
does that gr 7 build off anything?
yes
I blow the pieces up quite large and then move the screen around at times. For the woodland scene, I had to sort by shape or wouldn't have stood a chance!
that must be a hardy
I bet Crossy just loves that too--lol
Very difficult - evil but beautiful is what I told crossy!
Crossy prolly digs that designation
lol!
ruru, does it build off the not perky word?
Love the way you've put that, jbp :)
yes
thx, liz. i've got my bestest monkeys working on it, ruru

Denver doesn't have a good enough defense to get to the Superbowl.
Ru, what is going on with RG3? I just got a bit of it
they'll get knocked out (Denver that is)
RG3 has regressed and is becoming a bit of a prima dona
He's not doing the work necessary to get better... and he isn't fully recovered from his injury I think
I really liked him last year
oh. yeah.. he was great last year
a great class of quarterbacks
I like Russell Wilson a lot, and of course Kaepernick, and i really like Luck.. and C. Newton has matured a lot too
and wilson too---but havent heard much on him this year
Wilson is the one likely to be in the Superbowl
Seattle is loaded with talent.. LOADED
I know alot of people like TB, but I just am not crazy about him
Wilson is a winner.. he just doesn't give up no matter what
TB?
brady
oh.. well.. he's a great one too
another guy you can never count out

he needs some anger man. classes--lol
that could be too lol
Iam not getting Payton---hes hot and cold
* yaawwwnn * you guys talking sport, may as well sing me a lullaby...sAME

good morning all
hey, ruru is in the grid!
Hi sprite. How are you? Did you have a nice Christmas?
hi Dianne :) I am good. Our Xmas was very quiet and relaxed and we all enjoyed it. We will have a 'Xmas' dinner tomorrow, because Tim's girlfriend had to work until now.
What will you make for dinner?
not sure I know the english phrase for it... we will be gourmetting... using a table grill and tiny pans while sitting at the table together.
I don
Sorry - I don't know the English phrase for it either but it sounds very nice and cozy.
it is. We will be preparing a lot of stuff fit for using in the tiny pans beforehand, but not much cooking to do.
We have a "feast"; roast turkey, sausage stiffing, green bean casserole, sweet potato pie and corn bread with carrot cake for dessert.
and we've been eating leftovers since then :)
wow awesome, sounds so good! Here is a pic of gourmetten: http://tinyurl.com/p37kfrj
lol @ the leftovers! Another nice thing of good Xmas dinners, isn't it... not having to cook for days after ;)
the handles you see at the bottom of the grill are the handles of the tiny pans.
o.k. i'm going to look now, thanks.
It looks great - a little like hibachi cooking.
it is a lot of fun. Makes for lonnnng dinners, but that is all good at some days. Lots of time for family fun and bonding.
your dinner sounds delicious too. Very healthy too!
will you be cooking seafood and meats?
yes, and tiny pancakes and veggies
sounds yummy.
it will be fun, and tasty. Just the thing for a dinner with someone who hasn't shared dinner with us until now.
good morning Sprite and Dianne
Is this the forst time the girlfriend will be eating with you all? HI pug.
hiya pug *hug* cute icon!
Just passing through at the right time for some education. Googled it sprite and. Love a description as "an exercise in hungry patience" it looks like a fun, sociable way to dine.
thanks Sprite--I had a party one but it wouldnt show up very well
yes Dianne. She and Tim hooked up around the time we were having such huge issues with him. As a result she seems to think we are very nasty parents, lol. And Tim kept her away from us in that time too, because he didn't want us to set her straight about what was happening. So tomorrow is going to be kind of a new thing. We'll see...
hiya Chrissie :) Lol! Too true!
Well that being the case this is a perfect sort of dinner to have - very casual and friendly atmosphere.
yes, and lots of things to occupy your hands and eyes with when you feel uncomfortable. We talked it through, my love and I, and decided it was perfect for teenagers as well.
She's in for a shock when she realises you are a happy family who had a "normal" hiccup :)
I think so too!
you ok, pug? You seem quiet?
Iam just enjoying the talk
oh and Iam okay too :)
ok :) I saw you had seen the pugs puzzle. Cute little faces they have... it was such fun compiling it.
Passing back out... bbl
bye Chrissie, have a lovely day!
I already worked it too----ths
yvw, glad you liked it. You had other requests too, I believe... cowboys and horses? Anything else?
no one was here to talk to so I went and worked one already
ah barns(crossy likes them too) you know me --a country girl
poor pug, all alone. I went to bed early, had a rather restless night and then slept in still!
Are you both having cold weather?
barns! Ok, will write it down and see if google cooperates. Awesome themes.
right now we are having a couple mild days before the cold hits us again
it has been incredibly wet and rather cold, but today I see a bit of blue sky and even sun. Probably cold then, but with a wintery sun :)
For Hong Kong it is really cold - 9C , about 48F.
I seen on tv where the east had snow for the first time in 112 years
pug, cowboys & horses combined or one for each?
is that where you are Di
ouch Dianne, that is truly cold for there.
Yes pug.
can I pick all three? lol
wow, first snow in so long, that must have been a lot of fun.
yes of course, lol, that is what I meant. One for each, so 3 in total. Will do.
I bet it was a big surprise thats for sure
brb, potty break
The thing is most flats here don't have heat - ours included. So today I have both space heaters gong. I think it feels colder becasue we are surrounded by water.
have you always lived there Di
We don't get any snow here - occasional frost.
I have lived here about 20 years. Moved here from the USA.
I didnt know that----I thought it snowed there
do you like it there
Snow in northern China, parts of Japan and Korea.
I am use to living here. We live right in the city with nearly everything in close walking distance. We are here because of business.
do you plan on returning to the states at sometime in the future
Sure do :) We will be going to the state at the last
sorry - at the last week of January for at least 4 weeks.
Was you scared when you made that move there---I would of been
We had been coming out for quite a while so we were familiar with things so it wasn't such a shcok to the system.
*shock
*shock
sorry, back now
what is your time there? its 5:44 am here
I thought you fell in--LOL
It is 6:45 pm on Saturday.
lol, nah, just the usual... it takes time.
you are simular to Rose's time then
do you guys know where Canada fits in?
I dont
I know that Joso and I were about the same
I dont know about crossy
I see. Vancouver is 9 hours behind us here. That makes canada the last one, I think... so we have Aussie, Azia, Europe, US, Canada.

oh and ty OO
hi all, am back
and Iam still here
how wonderful :) Glad to see you.
{{sprite}} I'm sort of here
hi ruby, am glad to see you too... not sort of, lol
idn't mean sort of glad to see you, just sort of here
I should get off and do something but I would like to finish this or at least not leave on a badluck number
had a full-blown panic attack in the grocery store. Pfff and then I still had to put the stew stewing. Am shaking all over still.
what brought that on
*giggles* I know, ruby. Just my quirky mind doing word jokes.
what is a bad luck number? 13 or 666 or what?
lolol @ 666
both but thank goodness this isnt a huge grid the 13 is it
are you settling down, sprite? Panic attacks are horrible!!! {{sprite}}
just being in the store... with lots and lots of people... who were arguing and being irritated... doesn't take much to drive me into a panic attack.
THAT'S WHY I DON'T ever GO INTO CROWDS
yeah, now it is me-time. Asked my love to watch the stew, that it won't go too hard. And told him I won't be available for a bit.
ahh poor Sprite---was you able to get your items
whoops, sorry for caps
are you calming now
mo5/16, please
am forcing myself to, ruby. If I start staying away from everything that triggers a panic attack, I will become homebound and totally dependant again. I don't want that.
sorry Marc, don't have it yet
I truly understand, sprite, and know you're doing the right thing. Does Xanax help?
Mo+ Ben the chariot driver
((sprite))
thanks got it
((ruby))
twas on the tip of my keyboard, bzz, lol
yes, I got everything on my list, glad I had a list, lol. Forgot my love's request for a paper cause it wasn't on the list. But he is ok with it. And was kinda rude to my neighbour, so I went by to say sorry and she was so nice. Told me there was no need to say sorry, that she understood I was in panic, had wondered if she should stay in the store and help me but had reasoned I would ask if I wanted that, and she thought it best to not distract me.
an hello
hi Bea and crossy *hugs*
{{crossy}}
Hello, sprite. Glad you are home safe and sound.
ah, kind of like the wool. Weird spelling though.
1. Remember, feelings of panic are just exaggerations of normal bodily stress reactions. 2. Sensations are neither harmful nor dangerous - just unpleasant. Nothing worse will happen. 3. Anxiety is temporary. Instead of fighting it, relax into it. Just let it be.* 4. Focus on facing the fear rather than trying to avoid it or escape from it. 5. Stop adding to the panic with frightening thoughts of where panic will lead. 6. Stay in the present. Be aware of what is happening to you rather than concern yourself with how much worse it might get. 7. Notice that when you stop adding to panic with frightening thoughts, the fear begins to fade. 8. Wait and give the fear time to pass. 9. Look around you. Plan what you will do next as the panic subsides. 10. When you are ready to go on, do so in an easy, relaxed manner. There is no hurry. 11. Think about the progress made so far despite all the difficulties. *Breathe
well that was nice of her to notice butwhy was she afraid to help? did you have your claws out or something
that's BS ooo. Panic attacks don't lead to rational thought
thank you, o-o. I actually put those rules into practice. Since you have given them to me, I read them very often. They truly help.
works for me
they work for me as well
ecept when it's happening!
no then too
Iam going to list those myself---havent had one in a long long time
pug, no she wasn't afraid, just wondering which would be best for me. Not having experience with panic attacks, she thought I would ask for help if I wanted it, and thought I would rather be left in peace so I could focus on my control.
I think those are helpful for any stressful situation.
hALf and bye for now
hALf and bye for now
are you feeling better now
then as well for me. I usually start with the last bit: breathe. Then I focus on the breathing. And then I get back enough rational thought to remember bits of the rest.
bye Ruby
bye ruby
slowly getting there, pug. Ugly thing with ptsd is that once the panic hormones go up like this, it takes a long time for them to settle down again. My body and emotions are still in fight-or-flight mode, even though my mind knows there is no need.
I use to have panic attacks when I had to drive on snowy or icy roads. So much so that my legs would shake so bad and I would have to talk to myself to get over each hill and up each valley
oh pug, how awful. is it still that way for you?
I wouldnt even touch the gas pedal but coast most of the way--lol
lol... burned my fingers twice and almost a full body front burn with the hot fat while doing the stew. Shaked so badly. So I know what you mean.
since I dont have to go to work I a5 it as much as I can
need to loan you my jeep, puglet, then you can attack and OWN that nasty, snowy road.kick its arse
and you take care sprite.no injuries in the kitchen.the stew can wait
you think that would cure it Crassy
o-o, I lost your email addy in a computer crash :( Would you mind giving it to me again? My own addy is in my profile, almost at the bottom. I would appreciate it :)
crossy--sorry
that would surely cure it for you, pug! You are a survivor and a winner at core.
I am sure it would go a long way to helping, puglet.get you in some vehicle that negates the peril in your mind of snowy roads
I want devour and requiem today.
but then you would have to buy yourself one:))
crossy, well, normally it could have waited. But this stew needs many hours to stew.
I have a fear of my car sliding off into a pond too but I dont panic over it---but I might if I seen the pond getting close--LOL
yes, well, try and keep clear of lakes, ponds and other large bodies of water
but that is healthy panic, pug. Panic certainly has a purpose for us humans. It is when it goes haywire when it doesn't have to, then it becomes troublesome :)
can't keep clear of my own though, crossy
I understand, sprite,i do. my beloved is prone to anxiety attacks
lol I meant my own large body of water ;)
what brings on her attacks
pjt2000@outlook.com
so crossy tossed her in the jeep the other day, found a road going up that mountain that is closed at the half way mark for the winter season, rammed the jeep into 4wd and roared all the way to the top of that incline and blased out the snow mound on the other end:))
crowds do it,puglet as well as her own restless thoughts at night
thank you, o-o
I thought you were leading to your driving--lol
is that on tinyurl OO
funny enough, she has no anxiety when I am off roading, just sheer terror lol
no
did she hit you, crossy? I would have :)
pug, just email addy
lol,no,sprite,i gave her fair warning and she was game
ah ok, then it is allright, lol. I thought you forced it on her.
I would never force anything on my beloved
what? like a deer in front of the jeep
lol what puglet?? no deer! the jeep is brand new! no dents please!
well how did you know what was on the other side? could of been a huge drop off
how did a deer make it into this tale anyways? bad, deer, bad
lol,i know the rod well
road
you said she was game
ahh ok,i get you now
hm, interesting typo there. You didn't spare the rod, making your beloved sit through this ordeal...
hehe,puglet did a funny:)))
lolol pug

curiosity killed the cat:))
satisfaction brought him back
which leads me to this fun quote: "as words here cost nothing, the gulping gobemouche is plentifully supplied" — Richard Ford
a bit of alliteration too

cross what is your opinion of lenovo brand?
have no experience with that brand
:(
they make the budged think pads as I recall
budget
what is your tablet/laptop budget? I can advise better before you shop if I know your allowance
lenovo is the chinese company that bought IBMs computer hardware unit ... ... it's the old ThinkPad laptop line ... they're okay .. I use one but they're not spectacular
haven't used the tablet
don't imagine it's much different from the laptop in terms of reliability and usefulness
http://tinyurl.com/k6t59c3 Info about Ipad and Adobe Flash Player
ahh,so that is why think pad rang a bell
http://tinyurl.com/mfs3qpt More info
putting flash on android machines is not the issue it once was, so shop what brand you wish
though I would avoid the new windows tablet my Microsoft.still pretty buggy
my top two picks would be thenexus 7 or nexus 10 or the asus transformer infinity tablet
the newest I-pad is very close, but it is to "big brotherish" for my liking. I prefer my hardware more open source
hello
i dont think a na ta tablet; the yoga series interested me, it is both
... and done ... all praise be to lickety ... any particular clue for anyone? ...
... ah well ... happy trails ...
Hello, all! I see Ruru is in the grid today.
Yes, I ordered up a curvaceous, accommodating Cabana girl for him. : D
Lol. Well, I'm sure he'll appreciate your effort... not that he's worthy.

my desktop is a Lenovo and it's fine
go harp go
hello ruby
I don't know why i said two to go. I have 19. hm. what sort of brain fart did i have?
wishful thinking
*looks to see if Harp's shoes are still on * :D
That's funny ruru, because my new year's resolution is to learn how to tie my shoes.
I don't like the person who taught me how to tie my shoes, so every time I do it, I think of her and I hate to tie them the way she taught me.
which way do you tie them - the two bunny ears or one ear and wrap it around
i just hire a small boy to tie my shoes,so no more unexpected naps/blackouts mid-tie
NO NO YOU ARE MAKING ME THINK OF HER.....
sorry - will pretend that i never brought it up - re-edit the chog
that's much better.....
only 7 left but i still have a blank stat
there's always loafers to consider :D
i know ruru, but I just need to learn how to do it.....so they stay tied!
one left,
done! see you all at the flip!
congrats harp
ties your shoes as normal but before you head off,put 3 drops of clear acrylic nail polish where the knot is and it will all stay together till your day is done:))
*wonders what Crossy is doing with nail acrylic polish other than shoes*

is there more than one cat sound in the grid?
He's nearly 15 years old and he has had a good life, rescued off of death row...
15 is wonderful.. that's an accomplishment
nice. . . still it is hard . . . .
two jm.. one is a plural
ty ru
our cats lived to only 12 and 13
My last cat lived to be about 20. It is hard.
i miss the lil puddies
It's never easy to loose our furry friends.
my last cat lived to 22 or so (not entirely clear about her age) and my current one is 15 as well. . .
no.. it's the worst..
mmmm not the worst. . . but very bad. . .
maybe losing your child would be worse
not good to lose your spouse or a parent when you are younger. . .
Losing your MIL is way lower than cats though :D
Yeah, probably losing a child would be worse...
haha i actually miss my mil. . .
we are one a morbid topic of discussion...
on, not one...
LOL.. ya never know around here
We have had 10 cats in our married life. Varied from a few years (an abused rescue that had injuries that ended up in his death) to 20 years. Most between 17 and 20 years

i was a chinese history major in college
these friends are less timid than my friends in india were. . .
nice...
but i do have a couple of friends in myanmar as well and it looks like it might work for a return trip. . . but maybe that would be doing too much. . .
tell me about your trip penq
i went as a co-chaperone with a group of college students in the days when you had to be invited to go...

when i went, westerners were rare in some places, like Xian (home of the Chin Dig, which had recently been unearthed)....our group drew large crowds in the street....no one had seen a redhead, for example...

ruru - what"s your guess for the next one?
I guess so. :D.. I am tired at the end of the xmas season
oh 231
i'd love another 744
Did we have a 744? When was that?
hmm couple years back maybe
it was insane
i'd never seen so many re and co words in my life
what country is your flag DIanne?
I must have played it - I haven't missed too many since I started playing.
i bet..
i only remember one over 500 words...
Hong Kong
oh
how cool is that/
people were really cranky with the 744 :D
Well, it is cool now - about 48F with a "frost alert" issued.
wow.. shouldn't it be warm there now?
19 here...
we
we are having unseasonably warm weather here
65 here today
It is our winter but this is unusually cold for now. The really cold weather usually comes towards the end of January.
oh.. very interesting dianne
The thing is most flats do not have heat. So we have our little space heaters running.
I just shipped a bunch of wine to Hong Kong
why no heat?
Wine is really big here especially since the gov reduced the tariffs.
It is usually hot here - normally for 8-9 months. Air con is the big thing here. Some folks have air cons that also heat.
I'll say.. I just sent over a parcel that was worth a lot of dough
ah.. then that makes some sense
Wine auctions are alos big here. Many of the mainland visitors buy lots of wine when they are here.
yep... the Asian markets are booming for high ticket wine right now.
Can someone list the four 7's please? I have yet to find them. Thanks.
one of my customers has a honk kong client that's buying $100 K per month of fine wine
he's been going strong for 7 months and hasn't stopped.
Tragedy about the mainland fellow who died in the helicopter crash in France.
Watson"s?
ac7, gr7, hu7

Thanks ruru :)
I don't know about that Dianne
He had just purchased a vineyard in France and the guy who sold it to him took him in a helicopter to view the whole property and they crashed. All on board were killed.
wow.
Ah, got the ac7 :)
The owner before these two also died in a plane crash - jinxed vineyard?
wow
what's the name of the vineyard?
Got the gr7 :)
it'll probably be a tougher sale next time :D
