I'm good thank you Liz. The rash turns out to be something called erythema multiforme which, apparently, will go away of it's own accord within a couple weeks and there's no treatment for it. It doesn't hurt or itch so I guess I can put up with it. Thank you for asking xx

What's everyone dieting for? I'm doing it for a gallbladder that acted up and I refuse to have it removed based on one incident. I eat mostly fat free now - which is quite difficult but an interesting challenge.
I've lost a good ten pounds now, over 4 months. LOL
I"m just tired of being overweight. My joints are suffering for it. So, I'm finally trying to do something about it. Doc says to sit out the gym for a while because of a hip problem. On predisone, so that doesn't help with the weight loss attempt.

Judi - weight loss takes a lot of time ;) You didn't get overweight in two weeks, so it won't take two weeks to take it off either. Hang in there! Eat lots of veggies and fruits, healthy proteins (raw nuts for example, chicken instead of beef, etc.), and good carbs (whole grains). Watch the fat and sugar intake, really watch it. ;)

well, to me, there's a difference - "making," to me, implies some level of force and "causing," being the influence - but yes, it's a personal thing - who knows how much influence someone might have over another's happiness/unhappiness - hard not to let others affect the way you feel
Emotions are created by thoughts, which one can control. One can only make oneself happy, by choosing thoughts that produce happy feelings. One can do something to/for/with another person calculated to elicit positive emotions, but one cannot "make" another happy. imho
