It is a disease that affects girls only. They start out healthy and gradually deteriorate until they are complietelly wheelchair bound. Often confused with cerebral palsy with accompanying seizures. It is very sad for everyone. I am sorry sammysmom

rett's ( sorry about the h) is a neurological disorder ...... affects mostly females......... she was never abe to walk or articulate words.. bujrt she was a a beautiful child and loved to be around people and responded to to everryone by smile and laughing and waving... she was loved by so many people........... i loved her before she was born.. used to rub her mon's belly and sing to her..
I am so glad she had a happy life sammysmom and brought such joy to those around her.
I can't imagine losing a child that young.. .. it must be heartbreaking

on a lighter niote.. my great grandson , sam turned 6 this weekend.. he refuses to have the birthday sond sung and says he does not celebrate birthdays.......... however he did enjoy the party and loves his new bikle and remote control helicoptor and the science books i gave him. says he tries to teach his little sister juklis how to read ( she is 3) sam reads at the th grade level though he will start first frade in the fall. julia says she doesn have to learn to read just yet, because she has him for that.........so who's the smarter kid?

Well it is threatening to rain here sometime i the next couple of days.It might be thunderstorms as you say.Strange how it can effect us like that.In one way I hope t is a thunderstorm headache as it will soon pass.Will keep my fingers crossed it will not be a virus.I think you have had enough colds and alike recently.

Mother is well and truly back on track...Dad has had stomach pains for a while so we went to the hospital to get him checked over (which he resisted for many hours) and gave him some liquid medicines for various ailments (won't go into detail on here) they did say he should have an internal examination as he might have another type of cancer than we thought at first.But he will not do that.
am glad to hear your mother is able to get herself back on track, with your help. Sorry about your dad. Sounds like he has a deep distrust of hospitals and doctors and all.

I think the scammers try to take advantage of anyone, no matter the age.
and watch out for an email worm going around.any email with it's title written like this is a worm. P REPARED, or something similar. it looks like bad typing, the space placed in a true word. but it is a worm email.

dofith, i think we only have caller ID. if it's not a numer you recognise, don't answer. hubby and i have a whistle, kept beside the phone. another tactic is to answer the call, but don't say anything. that way the 'cold' caller has to pay for the call, but with no benefit.

better yet, since the envelopes are usually postage paid, bul third class with no weight restrictions, tape the empty envelope to a box and not only fill it with all the junk mail you may have laying around, but add a few bricks as well!

the best solution for junk calls is to start saying "what are you doing? put that down! no! NO!" then slam a book down on the table to produce a loud bang. Ususally by then the person from the call centre has hung up

smart companies are now moving their call centres back to north america for just that reason. they put them over in india to take advantage of the pay scales that exist in those countries and it is finally backfiring on them

Well, I hope they reach that same conclusion here. Once, when it was important that I solve the problem, I had to eventually ask to be put on to someone who could speak understandable English - I felt terrible - wasn't the poor person's fault.
We get the same in France, call centres are in north Africa, namely Morocco and Tunisia. So we get people with heavy arabic accents.
Not the person's fault, BUT, if you can't understand them, you aren't getting the help you called for. not a good situation at all.

It is rural there and very dark so she asked her father to pick her up at 9.15pm as she was scared to walk home alone. No way, says this caring parent, you found the job it is up to you to find a way home. Later he had asked her to move in with him and his wife. Not because of the situation with Julie and Ashley but because, are you waiting for this, he won't have to pay the £30 a month child maintenance. Lovely man - not
