D'you know I thought it was bug bites but it turned out to be an outbreak of psoriasis. Doctor gave me some real strong antihistamines and other stuff. It cleared a lot of it but it's coming back again and apparently it's induced by stress so I'm going back for a stronger zap by the doctor on Tuesday - fingers crossed!
not me, rose. If he is man enough to drink too much, he is on his own coping with the results.

worzel...psoriasis is a blood disorder... its not an allergy
well according to my doctor it is just an outburst, but like you say I too believe it is a permanent thing - once you have it you have it forever. Still, let's hope, eh?

I was quite healthy down south! I went to the dr twice in 23 years between the ages of 16 and 39 and in the last 18 months I've been to the doctors 12 times and been hospitalised twice. Must be the northern air lol

antibiotics do work because it can be exacerbated by environmental issues. It doesn't cure the actual cause - i.e the T blood cell disorder, but it does clear the secondary effect i.e the skin lesions

Yes, flosey...I went back on the medication...again. I keep it on hand. Maybe should stay on it but don't want to if I don't need to. Cardiologist says it's OK for me to take it just when it happens and then stop after a week or so, and that's what I'm doing.

All you do with this one is get shredded Swiss cheese and put it in a loaf pan, make 6 indentations for egg pockets, break the eggs into the pockets, salt and pepper lightly, cover with sour cream/brown sugar mixture and bake until eggs set, about 20 minutes or so, and sour cream topping is just browned. YUM. I like to serve it with a spinach, bacon and mandarin orange salad.
Of course if you even have to ask about its calorie/fat/ nutrition value, you should not be eating them:) but oh were they tasty!

People often make the mistake, however, of nearly eliminating fat entirely from their diet and that's a mistake...bad for your nervous system. I like "good" fats, like avocados. And I use real butter instead of margarine as we're finding out it's actually better for you.

But we love movies and watch them on TV with the captions on.
I've never had a problem with too soft. Always too loud, which is one of the reasons I don't go to the movies anymore.
Yes, when your hearing is about gone those loud sounds are actually painful.

Same here Zoom. Movie snacks are priced in the absurd range. We always brought our own too when we went.
Here too. I paid almost $12. for popcorn and a small soda. They do not allow outside refreshments in the movies theatres here. That is how the concession stand can bankrupt you.

I even had a special big purse for carrying our drinks and snacks.
