yeah, most healing takes place when sleeping... and he loves to sleep, so that is great, lol. Got him some yoghurts and soups and juices. The boy is set for today.

I asked him yesterday and he was adamant: no ice! Rather unexpected, but apparently cold isn't a pleasant thought for him. So I brought him a chocolate bar. He can break it in tiny pieces and suck :)

On hold for a few days. Pest spraying means we can't wash the edges of the floors for a week. which means no wiping up paint drips!

Yes and thankfully no snake skins or snakes in the attic. We've never had one (phew) but apparently carpet pythons in the attic are quite common.

just come home from my retirement party. i have had so much fun. it was nice to be able to say goodbye.

i have worked with these people for nearly 13 years. they are almost like my other family. one person i had worked with at another hospital nearly 20 years ago.
wow! that's a long time in one place. I'm amazed at folks who retire from being at one location for over 10 years. It's almost unheard of to have longevity
