ugh, know that feeling well. the nerve in my knee is pretty tender. tends to flare up, and then i cannot stand anything to touch it.
brb, need to turn the desk top on. just remembered something i have to send to my new doc.
yikes, know that feeling, too. I love this doc and his office. If there is something for them to try to make this better (short of surgery); they are going to try it. I really like knowing that.

Hi Dee--okay--been awhile seeing you--how are you
lol, pug... long story; very busy here. Daughter and s-in-law moved back to this area. We have been busy helping them move and watching their dog occasionally. Had my brother visit this week for 4 days, which was wonderful. Had 8 injections for lumbar facet blocks, and am in the middle of a 20 day decompression therapy for lower back... hope you are really doing well.
sounds like one busy time for you. Hope your back gets well. But how nice to have your daughter near. Its been a bad week for me really
so sorry to hear, pug... will say a prayer for you. Tough weeks close to the holidays are even tougher than normal.
You cannot begin to imagine how excited I am to have them closer.
I didnt pass a ekg test right before halloween and I was sent for ultrasound for my heart and learnt this week I didnt pass it either---And my best friend here--her husband( a good friend too) shot himself on the 18th (which was her birthday) and he passed thursday evening

I think that the kitchen is always the worst.
I'm glad that's where we started
Luckily our kitchen just needed a few bits and pieces done to it - so no major upheaval, but at the moment in another room, which is linked to the kitchen - sort of a through room to the kitchen - all the furniture is in the middle of the room and the curtains are down and the walls are bare :(
our kitchen/breakfast room (where we always eat) needed the ceiling washed, repaired and painted, new, fresh wallpaper and the drapes cleaned. The rest of the design is stable
and I'm not about to change any colors
We had a huge crack across the ceiling, which hubby has repaired. We hope it holds because otherwise we'll have to get it professionally done with someone prepared to crawl into a very low loft space!
my husband's bathroom had a practically-collapsed ceiling and I had no idea, as I never go in there. It's fixed now
We've gradually changed the colour of the interior of the house, to a pale peach - much lighter than what was here when we moved in. Only a couple more rooms need to be painted in the new colour.
Thank goodness it didn't collapse fully!
This house was a sad, drab, miserable place. Happily, all the renovations were done while we were still in Miami. I walked around with swatches for a year

It sounds lovely now from what you've said. Our house was freshly decorated before we moved it - it had been rented out for a few months, so it was clean, which is why we've only gradually repainted it a colour we prefer.

I didn't write that right.when i was at school and 17, to join the army nursing core(Queen Alexanders), you had to have 5 O levels before you were accepted and then obviously you had to do the nursing side and the physical.I don't know what the o levels were going to do to help as you could have any o levels

:-) We get out at 11:30 on Wednesday! I am glad, as the kiddos are pretty antsy already. This month, we had only one "full" week (last week) and by the end of Wednesday they were soooo tired, and yesterday they DID learn but it was very hard to help them stay focused.

yes lilliann -- but it is a shambles. Was so depressed after we moved in that I did minimal sorting... so many boxes that we need to sort through and Tom had used up all his leave so I was alone at home. Better now that I have a lovely job teaching third grade (LOVE IT!) and slowly getting ahead enough to put things away again.
And I take it by looking at your profile you are now a full time teacher

I would take some pictures tonight, but really it's very cluttered. :-D I made some progress this afternoon, emptying out one set of drawers of the art materials and sorting into piles of things that are still useful and things that can be tossed. *proud cleaning-up look*

How are you lilliann? Last I "saw" you there was talk about re-doing your garden/yard so you could get about a bit more.
Oh! And this year we actually got REAL chestnuts off our own tree! I realized that what has happened is the nuts ripen on the tree and the birds and squirrels grab them as soon as they spiky shell starts to open. So this year I started grabbing all the ones I could reach and I think we collected about ten.
Not a huge amount, but it sure did feel good!

The thing is, with the back of my lounge, i have a huge patio door which takes up pracdtically the width of my lounge and so it is high aswell, so with the tree gone the people behind can see right through into my lounge when the blinds are open and the sun shines through the whole of the room and then we can see the tv and it gets too bright
oh, I see -- do you have that window "cling" material in the UK? There is one that blocks UV light and blocks people from looking in... hold on, I'll find a link.

Got my fireworks rece4/5ly so now here is a story filled with hi4/5s.There is this dream that I often have every so often. In my dream, I am out doing er6/21s. While I am driving on th4/6way, an animal runs in the ro4/5. I slam on my brakes and the spaghetti sau 5/14 I bought flies out. As I try to catch it, I swerve. Cop sees this and pulls me over. Cop turns out to be my landlord I re 4/4 from. He finds na 5/12tics in my car. "How the hell did that get there?" I ro 4/4. He is a ru6/21 and ru4/5s my day by throwing me in jail. I end up having to serve a 3 year jail te 4/5. For some reason, I have this insti 5/12 to always wake up at this point in the dream.Have had this re 5/14ring dream ever since I was in college. Now acco4/6ing to my husband,it's his turn to use computer I will be ni 4/5 and give him computer so I do not have to in5/14 his wrath. It ir4/8 him when I babble.
