I replaced it with a desktop, though, since I never need it away from home and I like it SOOO much better. I also have a 23" monitor so if I want to watch a show or play a game, it really shows up like a small TV.

Well, I have it all blockaded and wasn't expecting the cat to jump OVER the computer and hit the glass with his foot. The funny thing is, I had the glass sitting there so they wouldn't knock it over on the coffee table!
The irony is that he would have cleared it just fine if I hadn't tried to stop him! Any way you look at it...my fault.
