cooee and g'day from me
Hi and hugs, Rose.
{{hugs}} liz girl. thanx so much for your email. xoxox
Sincerely meant.
How's your day been?
busy. managed to get the laundry under control. have packed an overnight bag in case. still a few last minute things to be packed.
and your day, dear friend?
Didn't realuse overnight was a possibility - not for this one.
My days been good. Beach walk, gym - feel very noble and fit!
if pain control is not achieved, doc is going to admit me until it is under control.
tomorrow you can do it twice, once for you, once for me...roflol
Ah! I knew that was a possibility but not that it would be tomorrow.
Lol! Hopefully a walk tomorrow New carpet being fitted in the lounge in the morning.
i really am not sre. but better to be prepared is it not? can you imagine don rummaging through my drawers?
Only go to the gym 3 times a week.
well you can another 3 days for me can't you?
Not a pretty picture! Actually I'm sure he'd domit with love and consideration.
* giggling *
NO! Deliberately shouted. Not for anyone. I know it's good for me but don't really enjoy it.
liz, you do realise, if all this works out, it brings our holiday near you and hubby that much closer to fruition?
You should see the big smile at that thought.
as big as my smile?
At least.
don is actually considering driving up. how many days do you think? to drive up?
As much for your lack of pain as for seeing you.
Depends how hard he pushes and how many nights you want to spend. Just a minute.
Google maps reckons 17 - 18 hours driving - that's from central Melbourne.
i think we need to start planning in earnest. as you are my johnny on the spot i will be counting on youto let us know where to look for accommidation.
so two days at the least.
No probs!
Yes or take longer and stop at lovely coastal places en route.
i will email you closer to the time.
Sure. Much easier than being on my iPad.
liz girl we have done the sapphire coast as high as sydney. depends on how don feels i guess.
Would think so. How would his shoulder cope with so much driving?
Funny but the coast I was thinking of was the other stretch - from Sydney to here.
liz, dear we have the knew car. automatic. no probs for his shoulder.
aaagghhh!!! * NEW *
That's good. Never thought about that.
and i can 'spell' him if he needs it. it is such a luxury to drive.
So good that you love the car.
did i tell you about the button marked 'sport'?
No.
you push it, and the car goes into turbo mode. can't wait to try it....lolol
Ooooooh! Sounds awesome! Can just see you charging up the motorway full throttle.
what can i say? i am a petrol he4!
With the cops hot on your tail - lol!
Not liking this grid.
*chuckling* yeah. i think we need access to a race track or an airfield runway!!
it is nasty. may i help you?
You can do that in the UK.
Don't know what to ask for. Still gave 40 left.

sp7/32
One of 5 of them!

Not Spirado then.
sp7/32....pretty close to impossible. unless you are up-to-date with plants
Not so up to date with plants!
Suddenly knew it. More up to date that I thought.
Yay!
sp7. s + first part of sea-going robbers + two vowels. this word ends with 3 vowels
yay!
That was a big help. Thanks.
Must've seen the word in Bunnings!
probably...lolol
Almost time for dinner. 36 left now. Will probably try to get some more before bed tonight or tomorrow. Will be thinking of you and sending big positive vibes your way. Hugs to you (and sprite)

Accck! winter is back!! it is minus 14C this morning!!...Good morning everyone:)
Morning, crossy
Howdy, Jaxx
Positively tropical here at 6C
6c? Time for shorts and flip-flops:)
not quite. I am not such a masochist
Well, I am married, so I am already a wee bit into pain:)
See how brave I am when she is in the other room?
Ooh, crossy!!!!
I'm stuck already on this grid. i am going to go and refresh the brain with a cup of coffee. Bye for now.
tc jaxx
hey ya crossy
((rose))
can't seem to settle. tomorrow i am to be admitted for the day for all day infusions to help get my pain under control.
I hope it brings you continued relief, Rose:)
How often will this infusion have to be done?
Last two pa 6/30 and sp 7/32 - clues please
as this is the first we are hoping for 2 weeks at least.
gran, pa6/30, a satire?
hello?
They should just give you a weed permit and you can fire up a bowl or two in the morning:)
sp7/32. sp + m**e, mud + 3 vowels

{{rosie and crossy}}
spiraea
oops
sorry!
naughty crossy....hold out your hand...
ty, crossy, I have 5 of those in the garden
ohh.. a spanking!
and would never have seen them (or known how to spell them)
with a feather no less.
I'm waiting for a woman to arrive, to interview for a couple of afternoons a week and maybe make dinner. We'll see if Burt likes her
He woke me up at 3AMby turning on the TV, loud!!
now ruby....you must like her....be blowed to burt...
Too bad you could not get one person 5 days a week instead of several doing dribs and drabs
Still searching for pa 6/30 - any further clues greatly appreciated
when someone acts out something funny making fun of someone?
np's gran. pa*, golfing score + most of not even + sometimes vowel
Good morning, thought I was going to have to do without game when I couldn't get in for a minute :)
g'day sukee
Howdy, sukee. broke out in a sweat for a moment eh?
Really :)
Hi crossy, Rose
This weather is doing my head in -11 here right now. Tomorrow will be 3 in the morning.
sukee, wanna change places with me??
minus 14 here, sukee:) wind chill of minus 22:)
Not sure, is it under 90?
even notice how we always go to F when talking about how hot it is down under? lol
crossy, you can keep it...sukee's temps more to my bod's liking....
Lol, that is true crossy.
No wonder our kids look at us funny:)
sukee tomorrow to be 82.4F here. wanna move in..
Well, 90 sounds so much better than 45 or whatever.
There are several kids in the school I volunteer at that cannot tell time on an analog clock. If it is not a digital readout they get confused, especially if you say half-past three or quarter-to six
82F by the water sounds just nice
Yes with a nice cool drink and a fan.
yeah, crossy. sad to say we had the same problem with our eldest son...and he is 40 years old this year.
Cat made my day by throwing up a hairball right in the middle of my bed. After I got up thankfully.
ugh, crossy...you can keep that one.
Don't you love that, sukee? Ours cat just started dry-heaving at 2 am just to keep us on our toes;(
Oh well, had to change the sheet anyway :)
sorry...that was...ugh sukee
It was such a minor hair ball too.
I keep trying to type in small.
* laughing out loud * properly
Not liking this grid particularly.
i think i had better put this very sorry butt into bed. i have to be up and at 'em in less than 8 1/2 hours. not enough for someone who seems to need 9-10 hours at the moment.
You take care and have a good sleep.
xoxox crossy and sukee.
have a good sleep ((Rose))
Woo hoo, Ted Cruz is running for president. Comic relief...
I try to not look too closely to politics. It makes me nauseous.
Just one more chance that Hilary might be the next President if she runs. I'm not that crazy about her but when you consider the alternative in the other party...
We have our own election coming up.
I have no opinion on Hillary one way or another. may as well. it is always a crap-shoot anyways
If I were in the US there is only one party I could support. I want the world to go ahead, not backwards.
Good morning
Hi car.
Howdy, Car
sadly, I do not follow U.S politics, so I shall defer to you on that topic, sukee;)
I really should start getting a newspaper every day again now that I no longer use cable tv:)
On that note we (Ontario) are FINALLY getting a la carte cable programming. Only took them 6 years of looking at it. Even still it will not be fully operational until dec 1016;(
We will be able to pay 25 dollars for the basic pack, then we can cherry pick our favorite channels individually after that.
sounds GREAT!!
Ineed, Une. out of the hundreds of channels available, there are about 5-8 that I really like.
and the C.R.T.C even went so far as to cap that basic cable pack price.
i know what you mean -- i would probably be completely happy with 15 max . . .
Of course, they are only doing it noe because of the pressure coming to bear on them from internet entertainment streaming.
now*
oohhh ok
They are taking a beating from netflix.
yeah, i've heard Netflix is really putting the pressure on . . .
Well, 8 dollars vs 100 per month--it is no contest
no kidding! :-)
it will be interesting to see what Rogers charges for the individual selections.
Btu they instituted this long roll out:( Almost another 2 years to go:(
But*
By that time they will be lucky to have any users left:)
right now I get (later, when DVD's are released) I pay for HBO but get series that I really like -- on Showtime for example-- from my local library
yes, you can got to site like HBO and History and buy shows directly:)
here in the US Comcast will certainly hold out till the very last second!
TLC used to be a good channel but it is now nothing but a daytime talk show drama-fest
I have History as part of my basic cable package
see, we have to get the next tier to get history and Discovery. thats why 100 per month:(
That business practice is what we have been fighting against for years.
wait, you're right -- i do too . . . it's the next notch up
I just gave up waiting 2 years ago.
of course, Netflix will not be your cup of tea if you are into sports and news programming.
i also pay extra for the Tennis channel -- but it's gone from $5 to $8 and will probably keep climbing -- so frustrating -- ESPN and ESPN2 USED to carry the big tennis tournaments
tennis is my only TV sports interest
and my interest is waning . . .
need to get going . . . HAGD!!
Ouch! if our single picks are to be $8/month then this new program is doomed to failure before it starts!
I was thinking more lie 42/month would be about right for the single picks
otherwise if you get 6 channels there is no savings at all
25 for the core pack and 48 dollars for 6 channels is $73.00 plus 13% tax and you are back up to the old price point .
So it better not be $8/channel:(
more like $2/month
Could I get a clue for sp7/32, please?
Time to head out. tc all and happy babbling!
past tense of the one before it, mark

Re the AR4: The abbreviation for Arkansas is actually AR -- I live in the other state which has the right abbreviation!
I always have to look them up when mailing letters down south. can never remember them all:(
They're often confused! But we're a long way from there!
And I'm sure we're north not south. :-)
Like I say U.S abbreviations are something I only need to look up on rare occasions.
I am stalled with 38 words left:(
We should have bought Alaska:( The actual receipt for the sale is still available for viewing:)
Hi Crossy. Here we are in the many shades of grey Northwest. Only thing about the book that I liked was the title. So we're going to have chicken with red rice (from Thailand according to the label.)
I believe it was 4 million dollars last time it changed hands:)
Howdy, stidmere;)
Alaska was kind of a good thing for us to buy. But, I prefer warmer climbs.
We actually have a holiday here next week celebrating the sale: Seward's Day.
I'm the elder, crossy.
It was a very good buy:)
We've had a VERY warm winter and very little snow. Warmest on record, I think.
and we had several deep freezes below minus 40 if you toss in the wind chill
My son was in the Coast Guard in Alaska and thought it very intresting.
got the last up. Improbable word.
yes. it stumped me for a bit as well. had to ask for a clue
a lot of the P words are hiding on me:(
'evening, babblers
50 words are hiding from me.
*hands jaxx a box of word-bait*
Thanks, I could do with that
could always set out little traps - or i could help you out :)
To be honest, welki, i haven't the faintest clue where to start.
I will take some word bait here, please;)
welki's bait and tackle shop is open for business - whatcha looking for? bait for longwords, shortwords, nonwords?
I would rate this grid at 70% babblets, and 30% "real" words:)
Hi, Crossy. truth be told I am not in a good place right now and concentrating seems beyond me.
I think I will go to my bed and hope to sleep better than I did last night. I am not much fun tonight. Night all.
sorry to hear that, jaxx - wish there was something we could do to lighten your load
I am sorry, jaxx. i will try and lighten your mind with some verbal badinage of a lighthearted nature:)
badinage? i'm badinage and not so good with weight either
:)
badinage* sorry
you spelled it correctly, silly
See? you are messing with my mind again:)
the second attempt is correct
I love playing with these seldom used words:) I just hate hunting for them in a grid:)
i see 'badinage' in both posts - now you're messing with MY mind!
lol!
*clink* we're both messed up :)
Maybe try to find them with one finger crossy?
Yup:) here, have a martini with me
hi ru
Hi
Howdy, ru
One finger?
lol, it shall remain a mystery then:)
hehe - was waiting to see which finger you picked
mmmm...let's see....
looking for a word baited with sp of 7 letters, worth 32 points (of your choice.)
most of a staircase that goes round and round+ two vowels
I am told it is some sort of plant or shrub of flower or some darned thing
you probably have them in your neck of the woods, stid
I used to have that plant in my yard but cna't spell it to save my grid.

Well, with 31 to go i concede victory to the grid. Think I will play in Jigidi.com for a bit and toddle off to bed with a good book. Goodnight, and happy babbling!...poink!
