FWs

going to Vancouver to spend a few days with daughters
won't be babbling while there
sweet dreams flosey. i hope your visit with daughters goes well. xoxoxox
good morning all
{{hugs}} and good morning my dearest sprite
*hugs rose* Hello my dear friend, good evening to you. How was your day?
not too bad. have managed to stay upright for most of the day.... lolll
progress! Slow but steady, that is the way.
went to gp who said i was not to return to the workcover stuff until last week.
very good. Way too much stress.
rang pain clinic, next infusion date june 15th. rang occ rehab bloke, who completely understands, and says he will give me physical help in writing my resume.
oh good, rose!
it helped when he admitted his own brain shuts down when faced with having to read and then produce a new document.
it will definitely help that he knows it from own experience.
so how was your night, and what shape is today taking?
Islept well, and today is quiet. It is a national holiday here, day after pentecost. Bit of gardening if the weather holds. Laundry. Maybe dusting the living room.
wow!! what great news, dear!
today is Tim's birthday, but he wants to celebrate on Friday. But we gave him one present yesterday evening... his new mattrass. He was over the moon.
roflollll it doesn't take much to please them, does it?
lol yeah, 3rd night in a row that I really slept well. Some crazy dreaming but no nightmares. I feel like another person.
please tell him from me that i hope his birthday week is full of pleasant surprise.
will do :D I have his presents already here, only wrapping left to do. Today his friends will drop in here to give him presents.
I see that my favorite toy in all the world is in the grid
lovely!! to have your birthday on a public holiday is delightful. he can do whatever he wishes.
you and my stepdaughter
:D
your stepdaughter? She isn't called that, is she?????
not she is called Kat short for Katrina
*wonders are we talking about the same thing? *
what did you say about your stepdaughter then? Sorry to be so dense.
you said your favourite toy is in the grid.... and i am thinking maybe it isn't the same as her favourite thing.
mine is known, lol. Pe5/12
lollll, mine too. but hers is actually a phantom, panda
ah :D Not quite the same thing, no. Lolololll
*giggles*
hah, found a 7.
brb
name that proper noun: state in the usa
name that proper noun: land in the back of your cupboard
oh no, not cupboard. Wardrobe.
nardia
close. narnia.
indiana
ding ding dingggggg the lady wins the toaster!
*giggles*
name that proper noun... princess who died because of paperrazzi. Name that proper noun... see this first, then die.
can you tell I am stuck?
lolllll diana

not sure of second one
naples
it was goethe who said it.
yessss dingdingdinggggggg the lady wins the toaster, the bedroom furniture and the vacation to the netherlands!
roflollllll. not another toaster!!
no, that was the total of your wins, of course. Who needs a second toaster, lol.
newly weds???
or is that irons???
For the second kitchen of course.
lol feenix
second wind. Nice 8s today.
well done sprite
*takes bow*
lol did I tell you about my crazy dream a couple of nights ago?
no, tell all
I was dreaming I was being kissed, and I felt so dreamy. Then I woke up, realised it was my former boss who was kissing me, got out of bed and rinsed my mouth, lollll. I went YUCK YUCK YUCK!
good heavens sprite. i would have been spitting and gagging.
me too, lol. Made me laugh too. How right it felt in my dream, and how absolutely disgusting once I woke up.
speaking of gagging.... have been cleaning my teeth with the electric brush, and mouth wash. i scrub all round my teeth first, then rinse with diluted mouth wash. i usually make three time around, more than adequate.
wow good, rose!
fireflies. Some oddballs today.
WTG SPRITE!!!!
yup, quite a few new words at least for me.
a big *hug* for you, rose. I hope you will sleep well and wake up rested. Lots of love!
thanx my dear. hope you are able to take today slowly. xoxoxox

Good morning, everyone:)
Moring.
Morning even.
Raining here this morning. Is nice. read a news blurb yesterday about a little guy who is 22 months old and live in the driest part of California and daddy posted his child's reaction at seeing his very first rain yesterday:) Was cute as he was trying to catch the raindrops:)
It's threatening rain here too. Nice news story :)
Does anyone have the A on the right sidE?
Think it was on CNN
Not yet joseph.
sorry, joseph, am just getting going here
Sad Anne Meara died, she always made me laugh.
ap5...relating to bees
Thank you

Thanks!
TY, did not see that at all.
Twisty!
I still do not see it... no heaven for crossy:((
song pa by the dashboard light.
ty sukee
... two cubes which you use to play board games would be a ........
Now THAT is a clue MLF will get : D
ohh it's cold and lonely in the deep, dark night... I can see pa8 by the dashboard light... got to love it:)
Love Meatloaf.
Think I wore out two lp's back in the day
The grooves got so bad that I had to tape a few pennies to the top of the tone-arm
I remember having to do that.
I'm probably being thick, but I'm not seeing the en6/18...
You know, I am thinking of investing in a record player again, vinyl is getting easier to find again.
and that in turn wrecks the stylus:(
yes. they are making quality record players once more:)
en + little bit of land in the water
tom hanks got en6d in Castaway
I just wish I hadn't gotten rid of all my records in the early 2000s when I moved out west.
Last one I had was a 1985 Sony linear tracking turntable. it got to be impossible to find the stylus cartridges
Ty again Molly.
Thanks Molly!
They even have a digital record player now, but they are a bit expensive right now.
my beloved made me get rid of most of my dusty old records when we were first married. said they took up too much room.. sniff
I had such a great collection of 80s records.
it was only 12 milk crates full:(
Mine wasn't quite so big, maybe 4 milk crates.
I still have one crate where I saved the best of the best;))
I sold some albums for a great price but couldn't give a lot of them away.
only be able to take my Floyd albums away from my cold, dead hands;)
Anyway, I have to go get ready to go to the gym.
lol crossy.
tc, sukee. do some exercise for me;)
reading a U.S story in the news on how their gasoline is at a "high" of $2.74 a gallon, and they predict a drop in the price in the days to come... My southern friends, If we had that price at the pumps the stations would be overwhelmed in the mad rush lol! Right now we are paying $1.15 a litre or $4.60 on the old Canadian gallon which totaled 4.11 litres. Think the u.s one is 3.88, but still, you should thank your lucky stars in regards to the price you pay at the pumps;) My uncle in London is laying the equivalent of @2.25 a litre for diesel! or $9 a gallon! it may have eased there a bit as well, but I have not spoken to him in a year:)
3.78 litres on the u.s gallon*
USD 81 cents to Canadian dollar. How's your math, Crossy (well, it comes out a leeeetle more even)
or am I wrong way round on values?
yes, your dollar is a tad stronger, but I negated that since your minimum wages in many cases are coming up to par with ours(yes I know not in all jobs, but in many)
our hourly wage has been stagnant for some time
Won't Canadian gas prices always be higher than US due to the higher taxes?
minimum wage 8.75 here..not a very livable wage even if you work 40 hour week
except for costco. they start their new hires at $18.50 an hour. They are our wal-mart killers;)
Yes, they will, molly. there are 4!! taxes on our fuel
helps pay for our health care ya know:)
big arguement with walmart and what they pay their employees.
That and all the sin taxes you can think of
British pound is 65 cents to USD - and aren't their taxes even higher than yours?
Gas, booze, and smokes are all more costly due to taxes, but i am hopeful it goes to a better place and nit in some politicians pocket
course i live in what would be called a depressed area..prob have people on social services and dont even get me started on that one becuz i see how much some of them bring home a month
the brits have a VAT tax I believe
i think smokea are about $11 a pack. not sure cuz i get mine at res.
oh, vat tax - so vat is vut you mean
Wow! they have gone up in the us!
My f.i.l use to get them for 2.25 a pack just a few years ago down in FLA
i pay $12 a bag, little over a carton in it
I was lucky, and was able to give up the smokes in 2002
The excuse for the tobacco tax is to stop people smoking. It works... except for kids and homeless.
STILL miss the bloody things from time to time!
awful addiction..in all aspects
Kids have all the disposable income. they live with mummy and daaddy. they do not care about tax! I swear these high school kids must spend 200 a week on timmies!
700 dollar iphones, top end smokes and endless tim hortons, they do not care
what are timmies and how did they get that way?
Tim Hortons coffee
just think of kids slopping back endless starbucks and you get the idea
i see the middle school kids come in library.. expensive phones.. expensive shoes.. but cant tell time
I think it was ingenious of the coffee industry to capture the teenage market. When I was in high school, hardly anyone drank coffee.
I had to teach one to tell time just last year Ivesy!!
hmmmm. it IS a legal addiction, isn't it
Not that what those kids are drinking is coffee. More like coffee flavored chocolate milk with whipped cream.
right molly..seems to be a big thing with kids now to go to starbucks and timme ho
And this year I had one 18 year old girl who had never read a book before. Up till that point, all her reading came from the side of cereal boxes and make-up containers!
crossy, you are kidding, aren't you?
its a shame that these kids are the future.. and scary... and in our area half cant speak english
No, I am not kidding
Her first book ended up being "Of Mice and Men" and I helped her through it
Wow, that is a sad commentary on the school system that she had made it to 18 without reading a book
Yipes!
i think they just pass them to get out of school
They use sparknotes in high school to avoid actually rading the full book it seems
reading
and squeak a 50%
Good for you, teach! It's a strange choice for an 18 year old's first book, though.
they dont know what they are missing by not reading.. but bet they can read twitter and fb and their texts messages
She had no choice. it was that Or To Kill a Mockingbird
brb
i had one young girl wanting to get a a library card. then whole time we were doing the application she was on her phone.. i wanted to smack her ..
txtg spoyld spllg
lol jwr half the time i dont know what the text says
I think anyone who works behind a counter of any kind should be allowed to refuse service if someone is (rudely) on their phone
This is too depressing, dear babblebirds. Going gridding again
There should be big signs everywhere that say WE WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU AS SOON AS YOU PUT YOUR CELL PHONE AWAY
totally agree molly.. we have to ask some (even adults) to take it outside becuz they talk so loud
lot of signs i would like to put up.. like you are in america..SPEAK ENGLISH..lol
It is appalling how many people in the US do not speak English. I can't imagine moving to another country and not learning the language.
we would have to speak the language of the country. unfortunatley they are catered to here.and most jobs require applicants to know how to speak spanish...which is think is discriminating
Hola amigas. Que tal?
roflmao... ohhh ru.. good one
bein gracias.. e tu? and that is my four years of high school spanish
Hay muy consado
Here, a working knowledge of French is mandatory for many government jobs:(
Yes Ivesly, it's totally enabled by signs in two languages and phone recordings in two languages. And, to get a driver's licence, you can bring an interpreter. I guess reading street signs is not mandatory.
and of course all our labels and many road signs are bilingual
Makes it more fun when they have to guess molly
wondering how to drive if you cant read the street signs?..
we actually have our library card applications in spanish and english.. burns my ass.. sorry...but it does
I read that for many large food companies, it costs, on average 4 million a year to add french to the labels if you break it down
guess i bit peeved becuz when my son needed help with soc. services he had to jump thru hoops to get his little pittance.. but yet others on welfare get more than i do a month!! and i worked 31 years
I know it, Ivesy. Same here
Many know how to work the system
* puts a phone call into obama for ivsey*
oh yes they do crossy.. just keep having kids , who have kids and right down the line
Some of these school girls just pump out 3 kids by 21 years of age and just watch the money roll in since they tossed all three daddies
snap
hola? el presidente??
OH ha ha Ru, he's probably out playing the back nine.
same here.. babies having babies.... ok .think i got it all out now lol..
There we go. Now we can kick this grids butt;)
Does anyone have the le7/36?
Rolling Thunder is in town for Memorial Day. It is amazing to see all these men and women ride into DC on motorcycles to honor America's vets and active duty military.
le7 female gay person

And with that, I must conquer this laundry.
I bid you all a wonderful day...enjoy it...and remember to thank every veteran you see today and everyday!
Did mine yesterday. Now ironed and put away. gloats
My laundry is in the dryer and my visiting sister is going to fetch it for me. She slept over last night. We will shop for my mother and visit her later.
My great-nephews spent the last 2 nights here with their mom and I Miss those boys so much now. Ages 34 months and 4 months.
My great nephews and nieces are now strapping teenagers.
It seems like my 3 nephews were just little boys having fun here, now they are 21, 25, and 27.
When the family gets together, it is hard to imagine enough time has gone by for the children to have grown so much
It is frightening how fast the years have gone by. It has made me really examine my bucket list and life.
Hello, everyone! I got a later start having children so my grandchildren are only 3 and 2 now and I'm 64 (and officially a Beatles song).
Now I'm 64...great song
Hi Mimi
I lost my schoolfriend of 60 years last week to MRSA. That's when you really feel the passage of time and realise how old you are getting
Hi, Scrabbler--it has been awhile. Good to see you here.
Oh, no, how awful!
Hi, Mimi. How's things?
Jaxx, I know what you're saying. So many of my classmates from high school have recently passed. Scary and sad.
On Saturday night we have our 30 year med school reunion. We started together in 1981 and we were just kids.
She had a perforated bowel and had an op 18 months ago. And the crafty little bug moved around her body and eventually ended up in her heart valves.
Tragic, Jaxx.
Gone off to the old football game in the sky
Hanging in there, jaxx. My legs still aren't working well and waiting to get my insurance in order so I can get to a doctor and get diagnosed. I was in the hospital a couple of months ago and everyone there thinks I may have MS. I cannot navigate stairs so I've had to stay here all this time in my apt. since I live on the second floor. Very shaky when walking as well. No fun. I just want an official diagnosis so I can take steps to manage it.
((ruru))
her husband, who is 16 years older than her, is distraught. No kids and no living family.
Oh, no, Mimi.
Hi Ruru
Why do you have to wait so long mimi?
I went for the results of my tests and the hospital has lost the results so it is repeat all the tests time.
I thought you were at that stage when I last 'spoke' to you. Clearly your health Service moves no quicker than ours
I had an appt. that I waited 2 months for that had to be canceled because they didn't accept my insurance. They accept three of the plans my company has but not my version. I went through the Obamacare process and now have to upgrade that insurance because apparently NO ONE here takes it. They originally set me up with a PCP that isn't even taking new patients and who is very far from me. So now I have an appt. with that same dr. for June 16. It's a long wait to get first appt. because so many people entered the insurance system with Obamacare that everyone is booked solid.
Wow
Good luck. I hope it isn't ms
Thank goodness for the internet and all my TV options or I'd be even more nuts than usual. Also, Safeway.com delivers my groceries. They bring them up the stairs and into my kitchen for $6.95 and no tipping.
Nice
Oh dear, Mimi. I will put in a prayer with St Jude and see if he can do something about this.
Thanks, ruru. I hope it isn't that, too, but whatever it is I will simply deal with it...what other choice is there? I was thinking the other day that if it is MS that it is fatal ultimately but, hey, so is life!
Thank you, jaxx. Appreciate it.
Wouldn't it be better to move to tge ground floor without stairs?
That is true, Mimi, but it can and does go into remission.
That's what people say to me but I like being upstairs because I can see the sky and beautiful sunsets so I don't feel so hemmed in. On the first floor all you can see is the apt. bldg. across from you. Also, when I live alone I feel it's safer for a woman to be upstairs...less likely to have a break-in.
But no elevator right?
You know, jaxx, I'm pretty fatalistic in my thinking. I've had a lot thrown at me in my life, almost dying 3 times, but I believe when it's your turn to go, you go...period. And if it's not your turn, no way are you leaving. I think I've stayed alive because God does not want me up there criticizing the way he's running things...it's like "Leave her down there, I don't need the grief!" So I figure I'll be real freakin' old before I go because He'll leave me down here until the last possible minute!
You keep thinking hat way and find yourself a groundfloor flat.
Nope...no elevator. That would be great. I can only leave here when my son (who is 6'5" comes and takes me so he can go with me on the stairs and has the ability to catch me if need be. It's miserable to be dependent and I just ant to get this fixed!
Actually, jaxx, I'm hoping I'll be in a house come October.
Ranch style...no stairs!
You must have great views, Mimi.
Good. I have a friend who has had MS for nearly thirty years. She is now 70 and manages quite well except on slopes where she feels unsafe.
The sunsets are beautiful here very often. The red, magenta, purple, pink sky is amazing and I enjoy it every time. Plus I have my silk palm trees on my balcony with little lights in them of different colors that automatically come on at dusk as well as colorful stars that also come on. It's magical here at night and I really enjoy it.
I have terrible vertigo, jaxx, but I think that's due to an inner ear problem so need that fixed, too. I'm also going to see if I have a deviated septum.
* puts on jimmy buffet music*
good morning, everyone
Going to tell the dr.'s office to allow lots of time and tell the doctor to pack a lunch because my body's a train wreck and I want it fixed!
hi folks
Oh, no, ruru....really HATE Buffet. When my classic rock station played Margaritaville I called to complain that isn't classic rock and I had to change the channel!!!
Hi, welki! How you doin'?
I have a deviant spectrum..
I am off to think, only think, mind, about tea. I have recorded the French Open and I intend to spend the evening indulging my passion for Tennis. Mimi, i will send the prayer and my thoughts are with you.
doing well, thanks - reading back, i see you're having a heck of a time
Ru, that is appropriate
Haha, ruru
I'm gone
Lately I'm listening to Diana Krall's new album where she does the best rendition of California Dreamin' I have ever heard. Never thought anyone could do it better than the Mamas and the Papas but she does. Also have the new Josh Groban which is amazing.
Bye, jaxx..have a great day.
I love alternative rock. There is an alt-rock station here that I listen to almost exclusively.
Grateful for Amazon since I can't get out to stores and hate shopping anyway.
I hate shopping too and use Amazon a lot
i listen to almost everything (exceptions techno, heavy metal and some rap)
Scrabbler, I love listening to all the music of the 60's and 70's. Brings back a lot of memories.
I really love the new country music, too...not the whiny stuff but the poetry that's being created. When I was still singing I did a lot of Trisha Yearwood, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Martina McBride. And I think Garth Brooks is the best performer ever...in any genre!
My daughter and I trade recommendations for music and always have. She keeps me current and I have introduced her to nostalgia. When she went to community college she did her musicology course paper on The Doors! I was so proud.
Musical preferences are interesting.
Tries to imagine welki listening to rap
Hahaha
hang on, let me dig out that big gold chain and fasten some golf leaf to my teeth
golf leaf? ha - gold leaf
I'm actually classically trained in voice so I like many kinds of music.
I really hate rap, too. It all sounds the same to me and most of it is just angry. That's not what I want to hear.
Ha. * buys welki a Mr. T Starter set
I also adore Nina Simone and the real blues and jazz.
At our age mimi it is Wrap. ...lol
<-- would be no good at miming that crotch thing the rappers do
At 88/82 I have had enough of this grid. I will now go shopping for my mother.
None of my kids like it either, thankfully. They have better taste and were raised with all kinds of music but not rap. Ruru, you're right...as far as I'm concerned they can make rap a wrap altogether!
Have a great day, Scrabbler.
I'd be good at the crotch thing...just talking so fast isnt me
And I think Garth Brooks is the best performer ever...in any genre!...lol...seriously?
Yep, funs...absolutely.
Have you ever watched one of his concerts? Amazing.
my apology, that was out of line
Not at all. You're entitled to your opinion. If we were all alike it would be a boring world. I believe if two people are too much alike, one of them is unnecessary!
I was in walmart electronic department and the demo TV's were playing a Garth Brooks video. It looked like more comedy than music.
I love seeing a performer that gives everything they've got to a performance. I like most of his music, too, but I just enjoy his enthusiasm when he performs. He never disappoints. Glad he's finally back and touring with Trisha.
I don't really know his music.. I like limited C & W..
I lean towards the Blues, Soul, Motown sound, jazz and limited kinds of rock
I also think Martina McBride is one of the best vocalists ever...her range is incredible and she's a very strong singer. I appreciate that since I've always been a singer and hope to do it again when my body gets fixed.
Do you know Nina Simone's music, ruru?
I have seen Nina Simone a few times.. she's fabulous
I also love Cleo Laine. She's totally unique. Her husband plays sax in her band. But I don't think she tours anymore since she's a bit long in the tooth now, as are we all.
Saw her with Stanley Turrentine once in SF
very unique voice
personally I could put Aretha and Al Green on all day back it up with a little Clapton and some Jonny lang and call it a day :D
I have a couple of her albums on CD now. Amazon again...amazing. I also finally found a CD with "The Captain of Her Heart" done by the original band, Duble. LOVE that song.
I do like that Garth Brooks is so supportive of the troops and charitable causes.. that speaks a lot about him
Had to pay $22 for it and mostly just like the one song but it was worth it. I can play that over and over and be totally transported to another time and place....
first pa 7, please?
grandfather in Italian cyber
nm - found it
ty ruru
And he "retired" for 18 years to raise his three daughters. He's very genuine. He and Trisha live right next door to his ex and the kids in Oklahoma. He didn't come back to music until the last one graduated high school. No one does that so I respect him for having the right priorities.
meant godfather. sorry
Of course, he could afford to do it since he's a multimillionaire.
*!* ta da *!* - bye all, back at the flip

another hint for the pa 7. Didn't understand

Me, too, ruru....shivering just thinking about it. I liked it better when he still lived in Michigan but he and his girlfriend live here now. Hate that.
Oooo nooo, welki! What will you do?
well, i never post anything too personal there, but thinking i'll just leave it in pending status. my kids think it's pretty funny
I got a friend request from my birth mother and half-sister. Nope...they are totally toxic to me.
pa 7, pls
That's what I did, too, welki...just leave 'em hanging. After all, that's what she did to me my entire life!
I just clued it below bichon
Didn't understand it ru
next year is thirty years since I spoke to my mom
PA + consonant + three letter mans name + vowel
try this bichon... pa + most of unmanned airplanes in Afghanistan + vowel
pa7 - lily PA* + maca**** and cheese
*jumps away from clue fest*
Someone opened the clue chute
lol
That's very sad, ruru. My birth mother did not raise me. She left when I was 5 and I didn't see her again until I was 22. My paternal grandmother and her husband raised me. I was lucky. They were fabulous parents and totally made me feel like princess of the world. The five kidis my mother did raise didn't turn out very well.
ty ru and Be and zooz. Now I have the word
i wonder if she accidentally pressed 'send friend request' and is feeling as awkward as i am
Hi, there, Molly! And, sorry, bichon and Bea..hello!
I'm still waiting for MLF to ask for the pa8 : D
And zooz!!!!
Hi Mimi
Hello, ((Mimi))
it's not sad for me mimi.. she's beyond toxic
Gotta get the work done I've been putting off since Friday since it's due first thing in the morning. Happy Memorial Day, everyone....take some time to do the nostalgia thing today. Hugs all around.
you take care of yourself at the doctor's office mimi. I hope it all works out.
Good for you, ruru. We have an absolute right to eliminate anyone from our lives who only detracts from our sense of peace and well-being.
good morning mr. Zoo
she's ruined my brother's life.. but not mine
Thanks, ruru. One way or another I'll just deal with it and do whatever must be done to get it fixed. I have lots to do still in this life!!!
that's the right attitude.. keep that going
Gotta finish that book I'm writing and still want to get on stage again and sing!
in 7, pls
One of the few (very few) good things about getting older is that I have a history of getting through very difficult things so I know I can depend on myself to continue doing that.
If you are way too serious, you are way too in7
severe.. sharp.. in 7
ty ru
that's very, very true mimi..
I completely agree with that. I am wiser too
You have a good attitude Mimi. That will get you through most things.
I'm also a wise-guy.. but...
I like to think I have a good blend of wisdom and whimsy. You do also, ruru. Love your sense of humor.
No worries. Everyone loves ♥ you, sir.
*looks for his magnesium supplements*
sir... makes me sound older than I am :D
Yes, but to the elders it is a term of respect. *Bows*
Haha...I do take magnesium!! And CoQ10. Everyone should take CoQ10. Improved my energy level after only taking it for a week. My cardiologist says to keep taking it as it's good for the heart. And all organs in the body need it and, of course, we stop making it in sufficient quantity as we age...like many other things. Nature says "OK, you've reproduced and now that you're getting old, you can just die already!" But I adamantly disagree and refuse to give in to that thinking!
Mimi, COQ10 is very expensive. At least where I live.
I hate when someone calls me ma'am. I know it's respectful but does make me feel old.
I couldn't believe how old I looked in my passport photo
it was kind of shocking
See...it's good to be camera shy.
good thing I don't live with Kris Kardashian
I once was talking to a former boss and my daughter was there as I complained about the heat. My boss said "Well, the heat doesn't bother me." To which I replied "Well, you are not a middle-aged hot-flashing woman." My daugher said "Middle-aged...you planning to be 112?" She thought she had me on that one but I then said "Yes, just for that remark I DO plan to be 112 and I hope I live long enough to become a burden to you." They will never top Mom!
LOLOLOL Molly.. my thoughts exactly
that's cute mimi
Smart aleck kids...just don't know where they get that.......!
clue for sp 7/32 have one but can't find the other
ha
change a vowel at the end
My oldest son once said "Don't worry about getting Alzheimer's, Mom...we won't be able to tell the difference." I told him to get a ladder so I could smack him.
On sp7 has two different vowels at the end, the other has two of the same vowels at the end
I hate being forgetful.. it's really a drag
ty rurrocks. Strange word
I think I do, too, ruru...but I forget.
lol
I'm going to just let Molly clue from here on out
OK, Molls...really going this time...honest....bye all and more hugs.
*starts taking bets on Mimi*
Put me down for $10, ruru...
**poink** for real!
I'll see your 10 and raise you 10
*peeks in*
Hiyas, kiddos. Stand back. I'm having a major hot flash. I may have to go into the laundry room and lay down on the cold concrete.
*pours judi a cold beverage*
lots of us have been here many years. about time to offer cool towels instead of hot ones!
Oh wow. Tough way to cool off. *Sends the iceman to Chez Judi*
Thanks. I need it!
*turns fans on in the chat*
zooz still here?
In & out, Ru.
do you still do suduko or whatever it is called
Not done it for a while.Been a bit too busy to do it.
oh.. well.. if you see Hurshy there tell her the coast is clear here in Babble now..
Ah yes I understand. If I see her there I will do :-)
It would be nice to see Hurshy back.
I miss Hurshy's insightful contributions to chat.
have the offenders been banned?
Not sure what has happened to the one I know about..but he seems to have stopped playing babble.
I think the offender is no longer with us
he has either passed on.. or heavily sedated
Elephant tranquilizer. Always best in a stalker situation. Hope Dr. God had a hand in it.
How is the world could you know that? and those smitten can always reappear in another form.
The situation should have been addressed when it happened. No one should get to stay here when they have posted scary, "I saw a picture of you in a bathing suit" comments here. No one.
because he'd never miss a game TO.. and he's not played since March 3rd. (thankfully)
Ruru - stalker of stalkers.
OHH...LOL
Ruru- NAPA PI
*Cues up Magnum music*
well I don't search asylum candidates on Facebook though Judi
I think he looks quite swashbuckly in his pith helmet.
agrees, no one should suffer ANY harassment on a site for which they have paid to belong.
Good thing, sir. There are plenty there. With fake names and fake profiles.
thanks judi.. I'm feeling Pithy today anyway :D
Better to be pithy than pithed off.
there's that: people PAY to have a profile. In that, i think it makes it different than stumbling into some random chat room.
some people pay for multiple profiles TO.. put that in your pipe and smoke it
The person in question was sent pictures from Facebook that were posted as private. Which gives you a good idea of how "private" Facebook is.
And how trustworthy Babble "friends" on Facebook are.
the whole facebook thing creeps me out.. just too much attention and intrusion into someone's life
not for me at any rate
but a lot of people say it's great to have.. and use it appropriately I guess
i do not understand put that in your pipe and smoke it. why the hostility?
not hostile...just a saying
just means to think about it
I have a very limited friend list on Facebook. I like it but, I'm not that into it. Nice to have to keep up with far flung family members and HS classmates. But, beyond that, there's not much use for it.
that's what my brother says.. but he spends hours on facebook.. daily. Who has that kind of time.. I'm really not interested in what my high school friends are eating on vacation usually :D
People often defend Facebook by saying they are back in touch with High School classmates. I have yet to understand that. If you haven't been in touch with someone for ten years or more, why find that fun? Maybe it's just me.
I have to agree. One of my friends posted a 10 minute video of him riding his motorcycle. Camera facing at him. Talk. About. Boring.
i left the babble group a long time ago. sadly, would like to keep up with some people but they associate with some i do not trust, so have unfriended them. i think less is more when it comes to fb
good thinking TO..
Less is more is a good way to approach it TO. Anyone you "friend" that has a "friend" you don't trust can cause problems.
most of the Facebook stuff I've seen is fairly self-centered
Absence makes the heart grow fonder? I had a blast at my 30th HS reunion. Part of the fun was getting re-acquainted on Facebook prior to the reunion. (Good to see what people looked like so you would recognize them in person).
i have explained this to them gently. at least i aimed for gentility.
I won't go to a high school reunion.. I hated my high school..
FB can be creepy. I have received friend requests from total strangers and some of my brother's old girlfriends. All get the "not now" reply.
sounds like my first girlfriend judi :D
Gently was the best you could do, TO. Sadly, most people think that everyone who posts here can be "trusted". Not the case, as the Nancy Boy debacle proved.
at least the "not now" part
Obviously, my brother does not do Facebook. And I certainly am not going to be the portal for that nonsense.
that IS good thinking, Judi. just met someone from my Annapolis days at the rams head and we were both glad to have FB photos to recognize each other.
lol. TO. How well I know. It's amazing how much some people can change in 30 years. Equally alarming are those who seem to have not changed at all. Aliens? Immortals? Whatever that kool aid is, I want some.
LOL my SIL JUST sent me a friend request when I emailed her a story that Jacs wrote because we were not FB conncected! I actually try to keep my family out of it, at least the kids, but they have no such compunctions!
neverf did ujnder
Sammy is dutch?
Ru, you and I must be the only ones not interested in connecting with people we knew 30 years ago. : D
i never did understand the nancy boy thing... what did he do??
COK?
He wasn't a real person, SMom. Just someone faking an identity here.
what does cok stand for?
cat on keyboard. but more likely misaligned fingers.
And he wasn't/isn't the only one doing that.
Wow. First time I heard that about Nancy Boy. That was one elaborate fake identity.
oh
never get those abbreviations.. thanks
Yes Judi, right down to the fake death.
i cannot imagine the reasoning behind that...... sounds like a waste of time and energy. do you know who was doing it?
or why?
*looks at Cave Judi lives in*
Just me and the bats. Don't get out much.
i do enjoy many articles posted by friends though and the radio station want all of us to connect with their private volunteer group via FB
Guano know better judi
I made it up. lots of COK in babble.
*snort*
:D
at least he did not say under a rock, juds.
I was careful about that... I like judi
I only winter under the rock.
:)
Like I said SMom, more than a few fake posters here. There was speculation about who was doing it, but hard to tell.
Every so often, I venture into oblivion.
time to make another stab at the outdoors. felt very good to be out but i am very shaky still.
when someone said Judi was stoned.. I wasn't sure what they meant
shaky from what?
three days of fever at or near 103. fever broke but need a bit of rest today.
ugh.. sorry To
Yikes. That's a high fever. Fluids and rest. Go slow.
TY. my poor flowers are waiting to be planted and i cannot set them because a heat wave is due. Plues lost out on getting more.
My grandmother had a high fever once. She was hallucinating - seeing crossword puzzles and scrabble boards, trying to figure out what the words were.
was she babbling in her sleep judi? :D
You can plant flowers in the heat. Just give them a lot of water.
While she was awake, actually. Amusing because she was a big fan of both activities. Tried to explain to her at the time that there was no crossword puzzle on the ceiling. She just got frustrated.
TO is probably not the first person here to have a dream about Babble - fevered or otherwise.
when my brother was little and had a high fever with an ear infection, he hallucinated that his plastic "Army men" toys were attacking him. . . . poor guy!
OH damn Une, he missed out on being the creator of Toy Story.
on the other hand, when I hallucinated with a high fever, I saw Cinderella's beautiful coach right next to my bed! LOL
molly LOL
hi all
hey jes :-)
Freaky! Have never had hallucinations. Note to self: get high fever or smoke more wacky weed.
haven't had fever like that since I was a little kid
Have bonked with 35 words left. Off to do some chores. See you crazy kids tomorrow! *Poof*
later, judi!
yikkes. i have never dreamed about babble. but must get some air, happy babbling to all
Had hallucinations while having a heat stroke. That was... weird.
Poor Judi. She is not old enough. Those of us who are had high fevers before antibiotics were handed out like Sweet Tarts.
bye, judi
true, molly LOL
and they were afraid to give me penicillin at first, 'cause my mom was so allergic to it -- made her break out in hives all over her body :-(
this is a nasty virus going around bronchitis.I hope you stay far away from it!
*puts windex on Une's glass slippers*
LOLOL!
*polishes* there you go Une!!!
ru, a guy I once worked with made me a pair of ruby slippers (not glass LOL) for my birthday -- covered a pair of shoes with red sequins!
soooo cool! :-)
that is so YOU, une!
awww... you and the munchkins une
unedorothyaixoise
have always love Wizard of Oz :-)
it's a classic
had long "dorothy" braids most of my childhood :-)
oh.. (I knew that)
hee hee
okay, must go eat something. everything taste awful except for peanut butter and strawberry preserves. a bit tired of that.
bon appetit, TO
feel better TO
bye, TO
had the Wizard of Oz songs on the old-timey yellow 45's :)
*bets une's walkway to the house is yellow brick*
brick but not yellow LOL
Oh my, I think that guy had the hots for our Une, to go to that much trouble.
actually, we didn't even like each other very much -- weird . . . .
but i kept those shoes for a looong time -- till the "rubies" started falling off LOL
Do you still have the shoes?
no longer
Oh, already answered. Sad.
oh well :-)
was working for a United Methodist agency at the time --- he and I were at TOTAL opposite ends of the spectrum
he considered moi to be totally radical leftwing sinner LOL
you and that Dugger kid :D
*Thinks the guy is still hoping to find Une on Facebook*
oh jeez
you can still buy the ruby shoes on line une.. we could take up a fund here at babble :D
Oh wait, funds on Babble don't quite work, do they?
maybe for shoes.. it would :D
one small step for une.. one small step for mankind
the oddest recent Facebook connection: my ex's brother in Sydney friended me and he's been posting lots of old pics -- the ones of his father and grandfather are actually really terrific
ru *groan*
you have an ex too?
gosh.. does anyone remained married around this place? :D
his father was in charge of a miliitary occupying unit in Tunisia in the 1950s -- which horrified my daughter! LOL
my ex is the Aixois :-)
oh.. I get it
Of course they do, Ru. Haven't you read about all the "beloveds"?
met him when i was a student in Aix-en-Provence
he and his second family live here in Nashville
are you friends?
after a gazillion years, we're now very friendly :-)
oh.. he better treat you right... being a saint and all that
he has a hairstyling salon here -- very posh - called (wait for it) Le Salon
OH.. how creative
hee hee!
I wonder if he had to do a naming contest for the business
when his brother first moved to Atlanta around 1970 he had a salon he called . . . "Hair and Now" bwaaahaaaa!
... well that one is a cut above
LOL!
<---delaying cleaning house
< <<<<< delaying taking pups out to pee in the rain :-)
soooo thrilled with the rain! we had half an inch in 4 weeks, with high temps and wind -- of course, i shouldn't complain -- i know what you're dealing with out west
ok, heading out with the furkids -- later, ru! :-)
bye, une
bye une... I better get to work on the house.. lots to do
bye, ru
le 7, pls
Female gay person
ty Molly
Babble grids can be ironic. Funny that le7 is in the same grid with pe5.
I don't have the pe 5
Male sex organ
Yes, that is amusing
I think it is there to poke fun.. :D
hahahaha
<---hits hego's funny bone
yup!
I would think the Le 7 would give the pe 5 a stiff reception .. so to speak
I thought the opposite.
a limp reception?
maybe serene.. and flaccid.. er I mean placid
groooan
can I get a clue for one of the sp7's ?
still looking Annie
appreciate it, hego
love is a Sp... + eastern European country ending Slove..
Got it, couldn't clue it.
The second appears to be Latin plural of the first.
thank you!
ends in a dble vowel.
thanks hego
yw
I never would have seen that one, hego
crazy
done. going to watch the Yankee game.
Have fun!
found a simian and a bird so far. 155 to go
Well thank God there are animals in the grid. Hallelujah.
of course there's a goose also, and a rock.
And a back muscle and a castrated man!!!
soprano?
*winces*
there are dams in the grid too harp
or at least dykes :D
*Looks up bestiality in the dictionary*
*is slightly worried about Molly*
Send prayers to Central Texas and Oklahoma for weather to calm...so much rain, flooding, tornadoes all around...
Sorry, all the animal talk.
tornados are scary
sorry babs.. are you in the path of the alley?
clue for pl7? Does it extend from the one before?
no, ch - it's the remainder of the word you'd use if you ran out of bowls of chips and dip and went into the kitchen to repl7 them
(if you're still here)
oh, of course it is! THANK YOU SO MUCH welki! And on that happy note, my frustration with this grid is ended. :) Tooleloo all!
ty ch for the pl clue. Didn't know I needed that word.
{{ quick hug to stidgmere, waves to rest, and disappears }} :)
hello
Hi To. Grey day here in the great Northwest. Very quiet but got my usual chores accomplished.
hi, gmere. lovely warm and sunny, now quickly cooling.
VERY dry. need rain badly. pollen count off the charts.
We are outsie with out rain coats today. Saturday we went to Seattle and it was sprinklish. There is a year Folk Life Festival at the 1960s World's Fair site that has music venues, foods, and the usual craft vendors. Beautiful costumes and nice crowd of folks.
Wow, so what they say about Seattle is true, then, Stid? And Hi folks. :)
firefox is strange today.
I'm not sure what all they say about Seattle. There are certain places, people, and times that are wonderful. Also some parts not for old folks like me.
How is your Dad, Soodle?
that it is often overcast and damp.
Oh, yes, of course overcaset and damp--how else would it be green?
Afternoon
Hi jes.
how goes?
Molly - he has developed an infection, which was what we were hoping to avoid. He is being treated with scattergun antibiotics .... It's a wait n see game now. Thanks for asking. :-)
Nothing spectacular but life is good and we enjoy encouraging folks around us.
Stid - a friend of mine moved to Seattle & reported that it rained there more than it does here at home. Wow!
Prayers out for your Dad, Soodle.
We found Ireland beautifully green and while it did not rain the two weeks we were there, we knew the secret of the verdant hills.
that's not Ireland's greatest secret stidgmere
Well, thanks to you, ruru, we are about to hear Ireland's greatest secret. Probably has to do with the angel mist.
oh good lord, did you see how bad the weather is is in texas?
Ireland's greatest secret is the town with the moaning bedroom in the township of Trim
I haven't looked recently TO.
Babs was just saying TO.. sounds pretty bad
ty ruru.
That's no secret. It's all over Facebook and You Tube.
LOL
Soodle is from Trim isn't she? She should chime in...
i would be terrified to live in that part of the country. lots of things to see but a tornado is not one of them.
*Cues up Stevie Ray Vaughan...It's Floodin' Down In Texas...
must be Mohammed's way of getting back at the Bush Family
Yes, because everything bad in the world is Bush's fault. : P
hmm
I'll still take a president that can walk out a door at a press conference :D
You can have him. 605 days!!!!
lol.. (guesses Molly hasn't signed up for Obamacare)
Everyone I know who has feels ripped off.
tell them to try Blue Shield.. it's a bigger rip-off
Insurance of any kind is a rip off. All it does is make the insurance companies rich.
really. who IS happy with insurance? except perhaps some municipal employees and teachers.
Exactly TO, and anyone who gets it 100% paid for by their employer.
mine is ridiculously expensive..being here in California and .. it never pays for anything
I usually try to stay out of political discussions, but ... insurance is why my folks aren't bankrupt after mom ended up in hospital and damn near died a year and a half ago.
I don't know of any employer that pays 100% of the employees' insurance
so there's that.
not saying it's perfect, but it's not an all-consuming evil, either.
yes. i think some people have unrealistic expectations.
High level CEO types and Federal employees get it all paid for.
I agree with you jes.
here we go. FEDERAL EMPLOYEES DO NOT 'GET IT ALL PAID FOR''
then why then when I call Blue Shield the phone is always answered by Darth ?
High level Federal employees.
UNLESS ONE REFERS TO THOSE WE SENT TO THE LEGISLATURE, THEY DO NOT COUNT.
Federal employees I know have to pay premiums. Most employers cover 2/3 to 3/4 of the premium costs and employees pay the rest
i know someone who worked at state with hilary. as a political appointee, she had to pay her own.
halfway
*marks jes' progress*
*feels validated by ruru's notice*
my timing is atrocious! I went off for a bath & missed all the craic!
craic?
Fun, jes!
ok :)
Federal Employees pay a large portion of their own health care insurance. I can attest to that. My hubby is a retired Fed. Our premium is over $400 per month, plus Medicare A and B.
i've just finished watching House of Cards. How accurate is the portrayal of White House wheeling & dealing, do you guys think?
that is actually low cost for what is received, habes. again, i think expectations about universal coverage were unrealistic.
beats me, soodle. i certainly hope its not like "veep":D
Remember House of Cards was based on a BBC show originally.....
and hello
have never seen it, soodle, so couldn't begin to say, other than I generally distrust what happens in tv shows
I'm far from an expert on US politics, but I kept seeing shades of the Clintons in the series.
to put a final word on it, a large portion of the premium is paid for them though. benefits make up for lack of pay comparability.
Nah, Jes!!!! Surely what happens in The Simpsons is real? Lol
oh, absolutely. Simpsons is very true to life. I meant shows like CSI and well, any medical drama ever.
:D and so not to be misunderstood, just wanted to clear up the misconception. a lot of folks have it. a stockbroker once said that to someone at a happy hour i attended and the fight almost got physical.
so not directed at any one person, just the often held misconception.
I suffer from psoriasis & belong to a number of psoriasis (flakers) groups. I read a lot of posts from US sufferers that complain that their insurance won't cover their expensive psoriasis treatment. I find that hard to comprehend. Are there varying degrees of insurance?
There are, Soodle. There are a variety of private/for-profit companies that provide insurance, as well as state and federal programs, and what's offered often varies by state as well (though the federal program is trying to smooth that out).
oh yes. the premiums are commensurate with the level of coverage, as well as the number of insured.
It is rather more chaotic than the programs in many other countries.
Right! Here, you
Right! Here, you
one way the feds have an advantage is that they do not get screeened for preexisting conditions when enrolled. my mom had diabetes and her premium was sky high, but i think the new obamacare levels that out. i may be mistaken, cannot cite anything.
the only program that is like universal coverage would be medicare, would you say, jes?
Sorry. If you pay basic health insurance, you will get the treatment yoy require. If you pay extra, you get grapes while you are being treated. If you pay top dollar, you get somebody to peel those grapes. But you basically get the same medical care, no matter what.
possibly? I don't know enough about it - I think even that varies by area in what doctors bill t it.
to make it worse, soodle, medicare i s what we pay taes for and use when age 65. but not all doctors accept what it pays that limits which doctors and providers retired folks can use if they cannot pay anything out of pocket.
My Dad (87) fell and broke his hip last week. He has paid for the top level medical insurance all his working life. He waited on a trolley/gurney in the ER for 11 hours before a doctor saw him. Security guys, wearing stab vests, were patrolling the ER. It was unreal
I think medical services the world over are falling apart.
omg
and hope he does well. that is just frightening.
hi Jaxx - what I witnessed at Beaumont Hospital inDublin last Thursday was utter chaos . Dad waited 11 hours to have a bed assigned to him.
I bet the folk at the top are earning huge salaries, It is totally wrong that an elderly, frightened, and hurt man should be kept waiting that long. have you thought about complaining or contacting the papers?
jaxx I've been hearing similar stories on radio shows & in the press. It's only when it's your loved one that you actually take note,
Start a petition, soodle. All these folk need someone to speak up.
I have a lot of complaining to do. He fell from his wheelchair last Tuesday evening. At my bro's insistence, a doc was called on Wednesday. Doc declared no bones broken. I was concerned & went to see him Thursday . Icould see he was in agony & demandec
Just for the record, I did not say "federal employees". I said "high level federal employees".
duly noted. :)
How about your MEP? I have found ours the only good thing in the EU.
Demanded am ambulance be called. The nursing home staff were reluctant to do so, till I raised my voice and demanded one. I'm very unhappy with the lack of concern shown by the nursing home
Soodle, the elders I feel the worst for are the ones with no one to advocate for them. I'm glad your Dad has you.
I have been there with my late mother. True vocation has left stage left
Agreed, Molly, but I can't be there 24/7. Today, he was very thirsty. I had brought a sippy cup for him, which he could use with my help. But the nurses are far too busy to sit with him for 20-25 mins to make sure he getting hydration.
My brain has turned to mush. I must away to my bed. I am so sorry about your dad, soodle. The older we get the less we matter, I'm afraid. We are just an inconvenience and an expensive one at that. I am not yet 70 but I do feel invisible at times. Keep on shouting, my friend, and someone will listen
sleep well, jaxx
hey all, just stopping by before logging off the computer for the evening...
hi....not sure if anyone else is here...
hugs to stidmama!!!! you are closing in on the end!! well done
evening all!
Hi penquis and dan and all others here as well. Just arrived myself
hello! i almost forgot to finish tonight!
((((BUGS HUGS)))) hello dan and penquis and TO!!!!!!
I have three more calendar weeks. 13.5 school days. Haven't calculated hours yet... LOL AND I get to do it again next year!!! SO EXCITED to get a "do over"
AND the garden is starting to really take shape, and I don't feel quite so lost... so when are you coming down Bugs? No summer school as far as I know so I don't have to hold any time "open" until August!
wow!
hi stid, and bug, and dan :)
AND I no longer have a snake... nagging about feeding the critter caused a decision to be made on re-homing! :-D
hopefully to someone who'll care for her more reliably!
you had a house snake stid? I am glad I didn't hear about that one. I just like garden snakes that eat bugs and hide.
i absolutely cannot see any more words here. not any. nope. not a one.
Well, they were willing to drive to our town from Seattle, so they weren't just being impulsive!
I have signed up to help with a very powerful art exhibit that is coming here from July 26 - August 19th. It is honour and bring awareness to the huge numbers of missing and murdered native women'; those I feel are the most marginalized in our society.
I am only down to 59 TO, listless of course, but not seeing much either.
i just found one yippee
and despite seeing the stats, not one eight.
go TO go!
TO you can see pa8 by the dashboard light :-)
i blame the grid. i'm stalled out at 69
It is walled Walking With Our Sisters and it has a Facebook page if you want more info. I would like to come down in between the end of school on June 25 and the start date in July. What do you think? Please email me with a good time to come for a day or two. It has been too long since we sat together stid.
What a great thing to be working on, Bugs.
hahaha ty dan
I will do that, Bugs -- will talk with Mother and Tom and figure it out.
thanks, dan :)
a 2-fer
also ob8 volcanic glass
thanks for the glass
OR the color of a reptiles eyes. like snakes.
thanks again, dan

hi welk
hi welki
anyone want a recipe for orzo? holy moly, i made this simple recipe tonight and am hooked - it's like orzo risotto
sure.
http://tinyurl.com/lte6hym
ob id
ty
ob id to you, too - we come in peace :)
owl, it was hard not to eat the extras, that's how good it is - raves from the other half, too (who is a meat and potatoes kind of guy)
omg looks yummy
but of course, would only fly with rice if not fr just me.:)
the photo does not look like orzo. ?
risotto can be tricky - this is simple
i think it looks like orzo - orzo looks like long rice
(and orzo is a heck of a lot cheaper than arborio)
hmm what if shallot instead of garlic?
well, i do not like risotto, though only had it once.
delish, i would think, if you want something a little less strong
that is one CLOSE up photo LOL
i only looked at the one on the recipe page - but yes, some of them are ORZO pics
now i am hungry. but everything tastes awful.
i hesitate to cook if it tastes bad
the garlic might not be a bad thing for whatever it is that ails you
i love garlic
it is just that everything except peanut butter and strawberry jelly tastes foul.
have some good bread? roast your garlic, mix with butter, spread on your bread and (1) watch out, vampires, (2) good boost for your immune system and (3) will keep folks away from you :)
sounds good. hey did anyone watch the new shymalan series last thursday? iforgot and wondered how it is
not me
not for anything, but i have been marooned for days with nothing but war related movies and shows to watch.
hehe - so how many times have you watched the dirty dozen?
oh please. i have played a million stupid internet games.and is HBO always so lame, or just during the free times?
no HBO here, so can't tell you if it's only bad on free times. but i do know how it feels to be sick, at home and bored out of your head - it sucks.
TO, you need to get a Roku box and stream Netflix and Hulu Plus. You only pay for it one time and Netflix and Hulu Plus are only about $8 a month. You can watch shows you missed on Hulu and watch entire series seasons on Netflix. I have all 7 seasons of The West Wing and all of Highlander and gobs of others.
And, yes, HBO is always lame.
I like Starz and Showtime better.
i watched veep. i certainly hope its mostly fiction
There's also a site called Big Fish that has great computer games of all types. I have used them for years. And...if your computer crashes, you can reinstall any games you buy at any time. As a member, the regular games are only $6.95 each. They have some great word games and puzzle games. I LOVE Mosaic: Game of Gods. It's one of my "go to" games.
ty,mimi
They also have deals every day for members on selected games for $2.99.
yw, TO.
If I didn't have my internet and other devices, I'd have to go into my own head and, trust me, that's a place I like to visit but I don't want to live there!
OK...dinner time. Bye.
bye, mimi
bye, mimi
or, you could just watch war movies and eat peanut butter and jelly - seems easier
now i crave a burger. but it will not taste like a burger.
dear god. i seem to be watching the batchelorette.i plead febrile influence.
egads, owl! are you pregnant? LOLOLOL
Good one welki!!!!
it is the only explanation for poor TO's dilemma!
i think, when she read my post, she passed out
oh hell no
lololol
do pregnant women crave the bad reality tv?
heck, it's been so long, i couldn't tell you - the closest thing to 'reality tv' when i was pregnant was 'all my children' !
I just remember being so sick I would watch the Love Boat in the middle of the night....
i need a clue please.
ok, for what, owl?
uh oh. it seems my monkeys finally getting off their lazy donkeys. FW!
just to di6 any doubts, not pregnant.
there you go! and there i go - g'night everyone
ty anyway!
and the new series, whispering pines, begins this thursday , twin peaks like. i will try it
sorry, it is wayward pines.
