my husband lasted 1 1/2 hrs in adult day care. I think the only solution, for the moment, is to drug him with Xanax.

He refused to eat, wouldn't settle down and demanded to be brought home. I'll try it again on Monday, but this is taking too much of a toll on me. His daughter has a broken toe, so can't come here to help me with this

He was so awful last evening that I came an inch from assaulting him with whatever was at hand (dishes, water bowls, knives, TV remote, books) and it went on for hours
People often balk at the Adult Day Care Centers. It is their job to find a way to deal with him.
I have some, but all he does is ask "Where is my wife" and can't really be physically redstrained. The Xanax worked last night, so I'm going to start doingthe regularly and I'll try the day care again on Monday
I was without pain all day yesterday but shoulting at him made it come back with a vengeance.

If it's costing you money to keep it up, I wouldn't bother with it. There is so much help in the chat these days, I don't think people look beyond that.
