Hi ruby - how are you doing?
husband fell yesterday and since I couldn't help him, I called emergency and the squad of six showed up and carted him off to the hospital. He didn't break anything, but I insisted that they keep him overnight since he was (as usual)_ very confused.
Now, I'm waiting to hear from the doctor in charge to see if they'll send him home by taxi or keep him longer.
It is a sad and very difficult time

Even though you knew that these days would most likely be coming for Burt it is still so hard to accept and especially hard to deal with both physically and mentally.
As annoying and awful as he was, it is still odd for him not to be here. And not knowing what comes next
He has been by your side for so long that it is just part of your life. I hope they keep him one more night so that you can get some well needed rest.
Although I felt bad leaving him, helpless in the emergency room, I had the best night's sleep in months
I'm sure that my feelings are ordinary, but it is still very hardd to deal with all of this

Hi Annie. I'm okay, feeling a bit of pain. The part of my rash that arrived last is fighting back. Hurt all night long.
Even with the pain pills.
I think I may invest in that cream the pharmacist mentioned that would numb the pain.

sukee, I used a cream that helped me. It will start to ease up soon. Im doing okay.
I notice a scab on my back, the one right on the muscle is getting loose.
It wont completely take all the pain away, it will take the edge off.
That is what I need. I am taking enough pills :)
I never was given pills. I had it a while but it starts to ease off after a while. It might take a month or two.
I had the shingles vaccine but I got shingles just the same.
That is not good, the doctor did tell me the jury was still out on it.
I believe the vaccine helped me tho. It was not as bad as it could have been.
Well, time for me to go. Going to the gym, it seems to help relieve the pain a bit.
