i emailed him yesterday liz
Wonderful, wonderful list - and great photo icon, too, Mitch!
might as well go to bed... the books i have to read are not this miserable.. night all
Rose - I saw that you said that yesterday but either he's ignored you (impossible!) or he just hasn't read his emails or had time.
ok, list is up on my profile - gl everyone!
I think he saw the grid and ran away screaming
Thanks, Mitch

Oh wow. I just keep thinking ta ra ra boom de ya!
Clues are up
ah, thanks Lickety
Thanks Lickety! Remember, some of us in the US had a time change "spring forward" on Sunday. Thanks for doing the clues for us!!!!
and in Canada too Kam
Oh, you get stuck with that too? I hate it! Just leave time to flow along on its own, I say! Forced jet lag twice a year!
Oh, you get stuck with that too? I hate it! Just leave time to flow along on its own, I say! Forced jet lag twice a year!
Wow, this is a tough grid for me!
I think it's tough for everyone, Kam. Now I've had a break I'll see if I can find a few more words!
The clock change will only get worse - parts of Australia put clocks back in a few weeks - not sure when because we don't change our clocks where I live.
You're lucky, Liz - I'm feeling really jet-lagged today - the time changes always throw me out of whack for several days. I think only Arizona (in the US) doesn't do the time change.
But it's really silly because the local airport here is in Queensland and it's the local airport for those in Northern New South Wales too - they change their clocks but the airport works on QLD time!
Actually I'd love the clocks to change - I hate that the latest it gets dark here in the summer is 7 pm.
That must be really confusing for people traveling! I can see why you'd like the change - I hate our "standard" time because it gets dark so early. In the summer, it's light out until 9PM or so for a few months. So nice, but makes for very late suppers because we're always outdoors!
I will second the minute changes
I loved that in London - the long summer evenings, not getting dark until 10 ish but equally hated the 3.30 dark in winter and the dark mornings, so you can't really win.
Is that a groan, Ru???
I could use one,😉
OK - that's a groan. Are you counting this year?
Yes
And the current score is ...?
Just looked - 9!
Haven't seen a Ru groan in awhile - Ru, your count is only 9?
Are you prepared for your move?
Kind of striking out this year
Not for a lack of trying
I guess I haven't seen you online much this year.
Sort of. Been moving stuff every day
Exciting for you. How's Dylan coping with all the upheaval?
He is really watching me closely. He knows something is up
Does he have a good outside area at your new place?
Dogs are so astute.
Yes a big yard
He'll be very happy, very quickly then.
Yes, Liz, they are. Glad your guy will have a good yard, Ru. My dog is a Springer Spaniel, and he thinks it's his job to flush every bird out of every bush on our acre when he goes out for a run! He's so funny!
I love the house.
Taking a long break from this with 20 left. If I don't see you tomorrow, Ru, I really hope your move goes well. Really happy you love the house.
Thanks liz
I'm glad you finally found a place you love, Ru. You are in a very nice area. Are you staying in Napa or ...?
I better head to bed myself. I have to get up really early
Love Springers, Kam - my brother has one - he did have 2 for many years. Great dogs. Sleep well and catch you both soon.
Yes north napa kama
Nite Liz, or have a good day... :)
4.25 pm here.
11:25 here, need sleep early tonight, got up far too early today. Have a lovely evening!
Ru, hubby's Dad is in Sonoma, and his sister, son, grandkids and nephews are all in Santa Rosa, so we do 12 from the foothills often. I wish they'd hurry up and fix that road!
hello, hello
what on earth has happened to the chat? is everyone disorientated because of time change?
good morning, if anybody is here.
HELLOOOOO!
time won't change here for another week. How stupid is that?
((rosie))
whoot!! ruby..{{hugs}} my darling. is all well with you? how goes the treatment?
I've had almost a week without the constant pain and am very happy!
I'm still taking morph, because, even with it, I had a constant 4.
what a blessing dear firend. and an answer to prayers. may it continue, sweetie.
If I conyinue like this, I'll start tapering off.
I think that my friends' prayers, Buddhist, Christian, Muslim and Jewish, made the raadiation wwork.
honey, we all pray to the same God. He HAS to hear our pleas.
And spring may actually be arriving except the nights are still freezing. I was even able to do a little (very littlee) gardeing yesterday
How are you doing, Rose? Will your pain eventually resolv itself or is it a "forever" condittion?
every little helps us to appreciate our life. good for you, ruby!!
My tumors will never go away, but if they don't grow, I should last a while
Maybe I'll ven complete a grid one day LOL
even*
the nerve pain in the knee is a forever, even with neurostimulator implants. take them out and i will be back to square one. the FM pain is finally under control. the hip pain is waiting for further treatment subject to workcover's approval.
Lately, these grid have been terrible! I could use a couple of r's!!! NOT
lollll...yeah .... a common complaint just after the flip. i have never seen so many r's in one grid.
wwow, my poor rosie. My typing is stuttering because my fingers are so cold!
honey...none of my issues are life-threatening like yours. your are paramount in my thoughts sweetie.
don and i pray for you every night.
Good morning all.
Thankk you and Don for that, Rosie!!
Hello Sukee.
Sorry you are still cold. It is very rainy here, mild, windy and they are predicting a thunder storm.
The wheels are coming off around here! My little car, only 2 years old, has died in the driveway and it,s not the battery. And now my beloved Rufie is limping. It just started this morning, but he hasn,t been in the car since he arrived here at 3 months and I can,t imagine how we'll take him to the vet.
This is a perfeect grid to say AAAARRRRRGH!
Yes, I can see that :)
Finally a grid over 100 words.
Oh, no, ruby!
nbt
cooee sukee and scrabs
Hi Rose.
Hi rose and sukee. The R's ar emaking me dizzy.
Hi scrabs
Yes... too many
the r's have it...whatever 'it' is... loll
True.
gm, everyone! tadone! that was a nice brain tickler
Not halfway yet, may have to list early.
any clues needed??
Hi dawg. That's why we do Babble,to fend off dementia, right?
WTG LBDAWGER !!!!
wtg lbd
No, thanks, rose. I am just underway.
HIya scrabs, rose, sukee, ruby, lurkers
Me too, I'll work on it a bit first.
Made it halfway :)
sukee you are not alone in the listing early. this grid has teeth.
I was awake much of the night with a migraine.:-(
Sorry to hear that.
oh scrabs... *gentle hugs* my darling. you poor thing.
poor scrabs. are you feeling better?
I work the morning and evening shifts so I can rest during the afternoon, although I will have charts to work on. The pain has lessened, but I am tired and foggy.
When I get one (and mine are very minor and rare) I feel hung over the next day.
Yes, I feel dopey for several hours.
Back. Rufie let me examine his paw and leg and it's definitely his paw. It's sore but there's no blood. He may have picked up a thorn in the garden.
scrabs...do you take 3 aspirin before your pain drugs?
do you know what triggers your migraines?
I get one weekly and am on a preventive med--topiramate.
((scrabs))
Ruby, will you just watch him for now or must you bring him to the vet?
still scrabs...i would be looking at taking 3 aspirin first
When I was Young and on birth-control pills and got migraines, the only treaatment was ergot.
Dawg, weather is a common trigger--incoming rain storms, so spring and summer are bad for me. Taking naproxen at the onset usually aborts an episode, but not always.
poor rufie... a vet visit in the offing i think.
I'm just going to Watch him. The housekeeper and I tried to bathe the foot, but we got wetter than he did as he's very heavy andd stubborn.
35 reluctant kilos is hard to ge into the car
scrabs....please consider the 3 aspirin route.
He is such aa lovely, sweet dog, but his "piggie" is very sore and he even let out a yelp
Rose, naproxen is a NSAID like aspirin, and it usually knocks out a migraine for me.
does caffeine help you, Scrabs?
Yes, ruby, not like a 2 kg rabbit.
ya think?
scrabs...naproxyn indicates your migraine stimulus is an inflammatory trigger.
I am drinking coffee now and I stopped coffee last fall.
If his legs were longers, he'd be much bigger than I
My friend's son is 6 foot 7 inches, 300 lbs,and has a Mastiff which is nearly as big. They are an amazing sight together.
i need to fall into my bed. xoxox to you all.
Take care Rose.
Sleep well, rose.
i'm monkeying like mad, finding tons of words i never new existed. . this isn't ez LOL
I love mastiffs, but imagine one next to me (or your friend's son lol)
I love mastiffs, but imagine one next to me (or your friend's son lol)
