... may I suggest Sloppy Joes ... tomato sauce with whatever spice or spices you like will make anything taste unlike sawdust ... and the scent of basil or thyme or oregano or garlic or whatever in the kitchen lifts the spirits

Putting meat in a slow cooker for a long time will render it very tender and "shred-able" Easy to eat and not much work involved in the cooking

not so secret, but wee bebe is doing just fine. got a bunch of test results back + met with the genetic counselor yesterday. everything within normal ranges. one thing i am a carrier for that could be a concern, so we have to get hubby tested. if hes not a carrier as well, we are in the clear!
In the clear is good. Hope that happens. Glad everything else is looking good and that you are feeling relatively well.
surprisingly well! biggest symptom really is fatigue. i swear im becoming narcoleptic! fine one moment, 100% unconscious the next. any while my coworkers tell me its too early yet, i swear i have pregnancy brain.
Oh that is just preparation in case you have a newborn who doesn't like to sleep for long stretches. By the time you get to that point, the fatigue is second nature. : D
And I'm not sure why your co-workers are saying that. Fatigue is a fairly common symptom of early pregnancy.
i did at least managed to get the approximately 4 billion nail holes in the walls of the soon-to-be-nursery spackled last night. next step: sanding! and we did find out the gender of little bebe, so now it's REALLY time to get down to some planning!
oh, the coworkers were talking about the prego-brain, not the fatigue. :)

Well,that depends on who you are listening to. I think being a parent is a tough job no matter what gender you get. And the "boys are easier than girls" thing often applies to adolescence. I will tell you this from experience. Boys are just as hormonal as girls at that time. They just don't bleed once a month.
yeah. i think have a baby + being responsible for another human is a terrifying no matter what!
