gm, everyone! clue for the ke6/36 plz?
One who bowls
As in bowling alley
sorry, that makes no sense to me.
bowler doesn't work.
Well you asked for the ke6
It starts with a large beer container
I didn't know that's what a bowler was called.
ty
Bowling is very popular locally so the newspaper writes about ke6s regularly.
LOL, I just got the ke6 - never heard of it with respect to bowling then again I don't bowl but i would have thought it would refer to someone who likes to drinks a lot of beer - LOL LOL in all events, thank you for the clue xox
You're right, Leona, it sounds like a beer drinker, but I think it is a German-derived word.
this is why i love this game - getting older, losing brain cells, keeps me thinking whoop
Whoop, whoop for us.
yep! LOL
And now I must get ready to leave for an appt with my CPA. I fear the final total for 2015 taxes and for the first quarter 2016 estimated taxes. I may need to rob a bank to pay for the grand total.

Annie, are you still here?
<<<<<<Look what I did . . . adopted Lucy off transport yesterday! :-)
sweet Une!
Une, I saw it on FB and was thrilled for you. What a beautiful dog. I love her face.
Lost my very senior girl a week ago . . . left a hole in my heart . . .
had a 3-dog nite last nite -- Lucy, Snowball, and Tugs kept me VERY warm LOL
Une, The hole is starting to be filled but not completely. Shelby will always occupy a part of your heart.
sorry to hear that Une.
oh I know, Annie -- I still miss my Lady and Bonaparte who crossed the bridge many years ago. . .
River, Shelby was 16 and a half -- she had a good long life but I'd be happy if it had been even longer . . .
Lucy, Snowball and Tugs..a nice trio.
:-)
I know how you feel - miss my old girls too but they always hold a special place in your heart. I still talk to mine when I walk behind my house because they are both buried there with special plaques.
Momma checked out the threesome and said thanks but I'll just stay in my comfy bed on the floor (14 yr old wobbly girl)
off to work I go - congrats on your new furbaby - have a great day everyone!

ty byz
el/5= funeral song
or speech
ty sammy
without the u or the o
not for nothing but, those are two separate words
el5 in the grid is a song or poem usually for the dead, from "elegos" meaning mournful poem in greek, whereas the speech you give honoring a dead person comes from eu (good) + logos (word)
they happen to both be generally about dead people and have some of the same letters but you see the derivations are different

hey ya dan. how's that gorgeous daughter of yours?
she's fantastic. leaps and bounds
i bet. has she started at school?
she is just a week older than your Claudia
kindergarten, at a great science & arts magnet school nearby
yes she is. my claudia started school this year. her uniform almost reached to the ground. she is still so tiny and delicate.
teehee. miss2bit is in charge of All The Rules For Doing All The Things
she's reading a little bit, gaining confidence with it by the day
wow! you must be busting with pride.

:-D so happy to see you lovely people here!
happy to see you too, honey. HAPPY SPRINGTIME !
:-)
YAY! Happy AUTUMN!!!! do you get changing leaf colors down there? I miss the brilliant colors from back east (Une gets them)...
brb
it is autumn(fall) here. and although the weather is only marginally milder, the trees are turning. it is just beautiful.
except when the leaves have to be swept up. *grump, grump* i did buy himself a blower/vac which he has tucked away in the garage somewhere. *sigh*
LOL I like to let the carpet of leaves accumulate for a while and then pull them back to see the lovely soil they create underneath (in the garden beds and wooden areas)
well yes there is that. but the succulents don't like the dampness of the leaves. and on the driveway it makes for very slippery ground to be walked on.
plus it doesn't seem to make any difference how much one wipes their shoes, there are always a few leaves on the kitchen floor
plus it doesn't seem to make any difference how much one wipes their shoes, there are always a few leaves on the kitchen floor
aagghhh, sorry.
Also, if you want to see what my Tom looked like about 25 years ago, when Stephen Colbert featured Wynton Marsalis and the people from "The Abyssinian Mass" album on his show, check out the saxophone! A DEAD RINGER! Only my Tom didn't play an instrument. ;-) I won't say I married him for his looks, but it sure didn't hurt.
oh, I would have to take them off the succulents, for sure. But I have very few, so they are mostly protected by the porch.
Ah, his name is "Eddie Barbash" and he plays with Stay Human!
even with the moustache?
Yep. In fact the mustache nails it! LOL He didn't keep it for too long.
awww, you have never been kissed properly until you have been kissed with a mo'.

*pouts* don's isn't.
those dancers in the clip are unbelievable.
well, he probably isn't swedish-"whatever"-scots-irish... one of our sons has his fathers facial hair, the other takes after my family. Let's just say Grant can go for two days before we noticed he hasn't shaved; some days as Tom is walking out the door I ask if he remembered to shave!
I LOVED THE DANCERS!!!! Wish the camera-editor person had let us see them ALL the time, rather than the frenetic switching angles.
i was spell-bound. that guys knees and ankles must have been rubber.
That's what Tom said! :-)
