good morning all
and i am here. {{hugs}} and good morning my darling friend
*hugs rose* Hello dear friend, glad you are here. How are you?
Me too. Struggling with this grid. Hugs to you both.
*hugs Liz* Good to see you too. How are you?
getting close to needing my next infusion. but not too bad. how are you feeling honey?
Fine but tired.
{{hugs}} lizgirl. xoxox
still tired, but otherwise ok.
do you have an appt for the infusion yet, rose?
yeah, sprite. i am betting it's gonna take you a month to get over the last weeks. oxoxo
i have to ring tomorrow. i decided this afternoon. shoulders a little achy, and a few spasms happening.
yeah I think so too, sigh. Ah well, things could be worse. And tomorrow I go to zeeland for 3 days of heart academy. Me-time :)
good, you are on top of it then, awesome rose. And... the cheque signed?
oh, nice sprite. that sounds lovely.
and the cheque signed , sealed and delivered and now nestling comfortably in a high interest account. hoping for an appointment soon with bank's finance advisor.
it's a 3 hours' drive and pretty intensive, but still, no demands from family and being with my fellow students is like coming home.
oh wowwww rose, how absolutely lovely. Finally, the fight is over.
Sounds wonderful
it will be sweetie. just take the drive in easy stages.
how is the cleaning coming along, Liz?
Apart from the kitchen, mostly done

Sorry!
yes, I plan on bringing my ereader along and am gonna park the car, read a little and drink something every hour.
First shop completed. Veg and fruit later in the week.
Good plan, Sprite.
ah nice, Liz. All according to plan, at least.
You should see (and smell - food stored in there too) the spare bedroom! Crammed full of stuff.
sounds delish!
Cooking starts on Thursday.
and rose, how are you feeling inside? Still high on the victory or coming down fast and hard?
another intensive time, I think, Liz?
Very not a good time emotionally either. Mum died during Passover.
oh dear, that brings it all back so very clearly, doesn't it... *hugs Liz* I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers, Liz. May the Big Guy bring you comfort and strength from unforeseen quarters!
Photo sent to you both but doesn't really tell the story!
Thanks Sprite
sprite, sometimes up and sometimes down. but still very excited as the next stage of my life starts.
wow! Packed full, Liz :)
awww lizgirl. {{hugs}} honey.
Every reason to be excited, Rose.
That's not a quarter of it!
ah I am so glad, rose. *hugs* It is an amazing victory. They did all they could to bring you down and they did not succeed. And now better times are a-coming.
wow Liz, it must be huge. An amazing job.
Just something that we do.
and that every year
:) It's a good excuse to totally "spring clean" the house.
it makes me feel exhausted just reading about it... loll
true, dat. If I had the energy and the body for it, I would or should do the same.
Threw out a load of rusty baking tins today.
sprite did you manage to come in and do the 400+ grid?
ah, good thing.
yes I think so. Not sure if I finished it though.
it was a good grid. not like this one. this one was like looking for hen's teeth... lolll
so far so good with this one.
66 to go and I haven't found it easy. Will list soon.
16 left and all biggies found.
Still missing 4 x 7s.
wow, sprite. you have do4 well.
but why am i surprised? *giggle*
some grids are like that. It is like they 'click' with you somehow.
but getting tired so listing for the last 10
and as usual, listing makes you go *facepalm*
Sure does!

Congrats!

yeah, burning on a very low burner, rose. But will get better over time. It is just a minor thing, nothing to worry about. *hugs* to you all.

Good morning, Sukee :)
Hi crossy
This grid is not as friendly as yesterdays was.
qt
hello, is anybody here?
Just coming in...hello!
hello car.
I'm halfway, but no nbt or nbs. Nothing bigger than 6
another bugger, eh?
It's grey and cold today, intermitent rain, but the garden looks beautiful
I think the rain was much-needed
Nice! Another sunny, mildly warm day here.
Hi kids.
Hi scrabs
hi Scrabs
What a beautiful spring weekend we had!
yup!
I hiked Saturday and kayaked yesterday.
what wonderful outdoors things did you do?
The lake water was truly bone-chilling yesterday but we had to step in it to get in and out of our boats. Air temp was 72 though.
People kayak on Lake Annecy, too, but the water temp stays at 55°F all year (unless there's an unusually protracted heat wave)
stats please for the y?

So beautiful up there.

hurshy ugghh ... do you have a bike?
oh no!
do you have AAA?
You seem to be having a very un-hurshy-like day.
I monkeyed the de8 lol
thanks fan
If de6/24 were in the grid, it's no great shock that a de8/50 should be in the grid.
Medoc isn't in the dictionary. I'm going to wine about the injustice of it all.
Slobberknocker is not in the dictionary either

codger (n.) 1756, probably a variant of cadger "beggar" (see cadge (v.)), which is of unknown origin.
Evening all x
Hiya Worzel. :)

Believe codger was a man who carried a frame suspended from his shoulders on which hawks sat until they were need to hunt
We hardly ever see them in the USA. :)

;-)
I didn't know you were listening. and hi to you too
I just wandered in, I don't think I will start. Have a migraine (day 3) and this is just too big for me to even think of halfway. So...
Hope you-all are well. It was lovely weather here, if a bit too August-like in temps for our area.
lots of really odd words in this one too stid. Is it the pollens setting you off this time of year?
I need help with the mo 6/24 not the person with a lot of dough
I don't think so -- this one just came on like gangbusters, and I didn't have enough warning to stave it off with the usual medications. Should be gone by tomorrow.
same, but belief ending, ru
that wouldn't be the computer connecting device would it?
ah.. thanks doc
are yours cluster migraines? I understand they are harder to treat
past that.. thank you both
migraines are the pits
yw
they sure are
no, I don't think I have those -- they are usually stand-alone and less than 24 hours of intense discomfort. This one started Saturday and just keeps hanging on. When I don't get an "aura" they are really bad like this one. Mostly I only have a few a month, but it's been a couple weeks so perhaps I was just saving up. *sigh*
Known triggers are things like barometric pressure, foods, relief of stress, bright lights, loud noises...
I am so sorry. They just knock me flat on my back
hmmmm, relief of stress. I thot it was stress for me but I must pay more attention
yep. pretty much. lots of lying down and wishing I were not
yeah, it's weird, of course, right now I am really stressed out because of testing, so perhaps this one is stress related. Likely not, though -- the barometer has been really high the last few days (dropping now), so I think that's it. How's life on the island today?
FW
and I must run - hagn all
too busy for me right now. I allready tutor 5 days a week now but one of the single parents is having major surgery so I am on to drive the older kid (on the ASD spectrum) to all of his multitude of appointments for 3 weeks. Makes for a long day and lots of driving but he is doing really well with all the changes.
by kje
Hi all
