I feel for you and your fellow Aussies mum. We are at the start of our summer season here. We've had a couple weeks of nice weather and now it's gone all temperate again - we are having rain and thunderstorms right now

The humidity can be bearable - we're fortunate that we are a smallish island so the sea always manages to make the humidity copeable. I remember going to the US a few years ago just before their hurricane season and the humidity there was stifling
