yes, daily, lol. But I also have ampoules from a belgian doctor friend. the internist told me to start taking those again, once a month, and keep up with the dailies too.

oh and I asked about the rash/eczema. It isn't something they see a lot of there. But he said that doesn't mean it isn't related to the weight loss. He said losing so much weight is stress for the body, and stress can be expressed in many ways.

mammogram machines have improved a great deal over the last 10 years, less uncomfortable/painful now

I think it should depend on the size of the tumour and the speed at which they think it is growing
Mine was about 4 inches by an inch when I found it, but had probably taken about 3 years to get there - and the ultrasound didn't pick it up because it was against the chest wall
but they also found cells in my lymph nodes, so i had the full kit and caboodle
i am not sure i would today, i know a lot more about diet and think i would go down that route if I have a recurrence
ugh, poor you. over here they do a wide local incision with axillary clearance.
they did a needle biopsy first, then a lumpectomy a week later, then a mastectomy with axillary clearance a week after that. It was a fun August, I can tell you!!!
in my poor mother's day it was straight into a radical mas. and the x-ray therapy. poor love never fully recovered from the trauma of the surgery. but she did go on the live until 88 years old and it was her heart which did her in.
egad glant. it just shows how strong you are.
My mum never fully recovered form the trauma of surgery either, she had her knee replaced aged 79, and went downhill form there..
it's so sad isn't it? and we are the ones who have to watch it... biting our tongues in frustration.

This sounds heartless,but husband did it to himself with all the years of drinking.His lifestyle has finally caught to him
I know; you & I talked about it several years ago. It still is hard to see though.
Husband had 2 hospital stays in one month. They removed over 40 pounds of fluid from his belly. It keeps on building back up though because his liver is so badly damaged.
I am going with him in a few weeks to see a liver specialist
Has he stopped drinking? (It sounds like he has pretty severe cirrhousis

When my husband got home from 1st hospital stay, he was at the bar 2 hours later drinking & we had a huge blowout

I should not even be going with him to this specialist, but I am, for what reason, who knows why.He should really left to deal with this on his own, but he has stopped drinking.

No, no4/4 of that fortunately. One reason why he thought he was not an alcoholic because he said he did not get the shakes if he did not drink for a few days. He's going to AA
My brother has been dry for 6 years now; he went through DT's and the only thing that has kept him dry is AA.
He has finally realized he IS an alcoholic. He also told me that he realizes alcohol was more important to him than I was. My husband is BEGGING me to stop proceedings now.
He has lied to me for so many years to support his drinking
Do not know if I should believe him or not. Is he telling me these things so I will not divorce him or does he really truly feel this way? I already told him that it was too late for us
You need to do what is right for YOU, Min. Don't let him talk you out of it if you still want out. Sympathy isn't a good reason to stay married.
I know deep in my heart what I ne4/5 to do, but I'm afraid he will go back to drinking if I go through with it. I cannot be responsible though if he goes back to drinking again.
But; if you still love him and care about him; thetis up to you.
You are NOT responsible for his drinking; that is his decision.

I suspect that the specialist may bring up the idea of a liver transplant IF he really truly has quit drinking. If they do talk about it; I want to warn you that it's a very heavy burden for the family; and he'd need a strong family support systemic he got a transplant
(that was system IF; not systemic)
Unfortunately he has NO family support. He has alienated everyone in his family because of his drinking. They are so done with him. Only support he will get is from his mother
Another problem is health insurance.If I leave him he loses his insurance and he might not be able to get a transplant
Once again, the guilt I will feel when I go through divorce.
as crazy as my sons' ex is, they have divorced & are fairly amicable(because of my grandson). If they cane amicable after all of the grief she put them through; I'd say it's possible for anyone who wants to remain friendlycan do it

Min, it may be that your insurance may not cover a transplant for him even if you do remain married.Some insurance companies are pretty tight-fisted with their coverage; & don't do transplants on people who have caused their illness.

When I went to administration for help they told me it was my fault.My family wanted me 2 quit but I needed extra $ because I spent thousands of dollars retaining my lawyer.
My parents were so worried about me this summer & I felt bad putting them through that.Guess it's their job to worry

I think I told you before that the Aunt who raised me was a County Superintendent of schools for many years; and because the schools all consolidated & she didn't have that job any more; she went back to teaching (she actually ended up teaching 3 generations of students in that town). Anyway; she would always start out with the strictest rules & was really harsh at the start of the year; then would relax after she got to know the kids & they respected her.
Was really harsh at the beginning too,but that didn't help.

When I expressed my concern to Principal he said I should incorporate cell phone use into the lessons. Even if I tried to take their phones, they would refuse to give it to me.
After asking several times for student to move to another seat for talking too much he finally said "MAKE ME!" I had security removing kids from my classroom every single day
Administration told me that I called security too much and that I should have better control over my classroom. Mind you, not once did they intervene and talk to the students

It must be really tough to teach in a situation like that. I once had to give a speech to some seniors in high school who thought they knew it all & didn't listen. So I sat down & stared at them. It made them very uncomfortable after a while. But it sounds like that class of yours wasn't interested in earning anyway, huh?
