Hi all
{{hugs}} and xoxox lizgirl
Hi and hugs, Rose. Thought I was all alone! How are you?
not too bad thanx. have been bitten by the spring-cleaning bug. it has taken me 2 days to clean the fridge part of our freezer/fridge unit. loll
Big job - and you need to it at a rate, which suits you!
yup. and himself helped too. what's happening in your neck of the woods?
All's pretty quiet here - life goes on as usual. Not here for long this afternoon - eyes tired. Had them dilated earlier. Back to normal now but like I said, tired.
i wish you had been a fly on the wall of our garage early today. i am still chuckling. don has bought a new 12 speed drill-press. and has been assembling it.
Hope he enjoys using it!!!
as you know, every new appliance which has come into our home, EXCEPT THE IRON, he has been the first one to use.
No idea what a 12 speed drill press is!
Boys and their toys!
the look on his face when i asked if i could be the first to use it was priceless.
You should insist!
roflol... like you i don't know what it is... just that it makes a lot of noise.
I've got to go - achy eyes! If you see Sprite, please say thanks for the books. I'll email tomorrow or later on. Hugs to you.
np's liz. xoxox to you both.
good morning all
good morning and {{hugs}} dear sprite.
hi sweetie, was hoping you'd pop in for a sec. I am about to leave for Cobi's, try and talk things out with her. Won't be back until late tonight. What happened with you yesterday, honey? You got me worried.
sorry sweetie. i was pretty low yesterday, and couldn't respond to your comments in a pleasant way. it's okay honey. just me being affected by the pain etc.
{{{{{{{{{rose}}}}}}}} So sorry to hear you are in a lot of pain. Please try and do a little less... spread it more, and rest more, honey. Even if it doesn't yet feel like you should.
on the positive side, i was actually motivated to start the spring-cleaning in the kitchen.
eile mit weile, my darling friend. Please. *hugssssss* and take good care of yourself. I'll let you know how things with Cobi went.
we have a lovely clean fridge. if you have time see me at 1:49 am
sorry, have to go. Lots of love!
lots of prayers sweetie.. for you both
Hello everyone :-) Can someone help me and tell me if the RH 7 comes off of the RH 5 please?

Okay thank you, Doseffing.

good morning all.
Annie, I put my eggplant casserole recipe in my profile.
peri, thank you very much.
yw, I hope you like it
I just copied it..will make it this weekend or next week. Sounds yummy
:)
peri, did you peel the eggplant or not?
rope used in killing an it's not noose?
ga6/7/7/8
French version
ty Annie. Love eggplant. My mother used to make chopped eggplant salad
peri put a recipe for an eggplant casserole in her profile
tty peri, I will definitely make it
I saw a great receipt for eggplant the other day. You cut it like a hasselback potato, and stuff with sliced tomato and mozzarella, then back. Top with basil. A baked, caprese eggplant main dish. Looked wonderful!
"bake" not "back"
Did Peri ever answer whether or not she peeled the eggplant?
I would think you have to. Eggplant skin yucky
ga 6/24, second one, pls
Eggplant skin is fine if it's roasted or grilled. Boiled and mashed? No way.
ga--ga+double consonant - not off
thanks for clearing that up, dorens...be back later
ty Annie
Good morning, all. Eeek! There's a bacteria in the grid today.
gram
Sorry about that!
ac 7/36, pls
good morning - just got nbt and halfway!
and nbs :)
I am finding this grid very difficult, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
it is a tough one
,,, the 7s and 8s certainly are ...
but not oppressive
I only have one 7 and one 8
do you have the ac 7/36?
nope - only ga
ca 7/52, either/or?
ga 8/50 to strangle with a fine cord or wire
Don't have either ca7, Bich.
ca7/52 ... able + an area
monte
ooops. dang.
Is that the full mo5 or just partial, bonk?
sorry dose, don't understand "area"
i shall defer to the readers best guess :)
use the high point tile bichon
... location ... territory ... a place you want to be in
when it's red, it's for loading and unloading only :)
in football there's an end****

Planting my garlic and shallots this morning
when do you harvest them Harry?
next summer
so they winter over in Boston?
I'm hoping they're not all uprooted by the *((*& chipmunks and squirrels
yes - you plant them now so they can make roots before the ground freezes, but not too much top growth.
actually I haven't tried since we lived in NJ, so I hope they'll be ok with a cold winter.
squirrels like garlic? I guess you could alo plant carrots in the fall too
no - I think if they try i t they won't eat it. But they explore, and they'll just uproot them and leave them there.
they're really hyper right now, getting fat with acorns and such.
squirrel, rats with a bushy tail
well - I'm blind to this grid right now. 47 to go - bbl perhaps.
... ac7/36 ... to hurt without the final silent vowel + a Greek letter with the wrong vowel at the end
ty dose
thx dose
... and done ... with the final 20% on the list being more than kinda hard ... ... may I offer a clue for anyone? ...
I have the ga8. What do the other two start with?
ca7/8/7 .... ar8/50
Ty, dose. Will work on those.
Success!
... excellent news
... ah well ... past time to head out ... 'til tomorrow ... luck to all

ar + Mrs. Chandler Bing
ty dose
it's an instrument made of glass, it's very interesting and pretty
... or a musical instrument without a leading h
ac7/36?
I thought that the ar8 was just what was sticking out of Clintons desk
... to be sore minus the final letter + a greek letter with the wrong vowel at the end
the glass ar8 was invented by ben franklin
here's a link to a video of it: http://tinyurl.com/p6dtwuu

... i4 makes regular appearances in the grid ... just not today
the g's have me Growling

ca 8 a musical instrument made out of folded over pizza :D
I think it is an Italian food...not sure
ca7/52 8/70 7/52 if you're gonna get one you might as well get them all
you can't have just one...;-)
no really phaeton
... just checked ... it's actually a style of Italian poetry ... but it sounds like pasta

ma 6/24?
good morning, everyone
Think of Snoopy's enemy, the red ba5. Make that an M word and double the middle consonant.
And that is the 6/21 so never mind.
The 6/24 is a woodchuck like animal
ma 6/24 like a large gopher
not finding that ac 7 - started with the sore added the vowel and finished with most of the ty -- but wasn't accepted
ah - end of the ty, not the beginning - ty molly

Hi Gwen. How are you doing this evening?
having a good day, how bout you?
Doing okay in general; but my brain isn't thinking well tonight (not seeing very many words; only 50 in about 45 minutes). :-(
yep, i'm still not at nbt with 71 words found, argh
I got NBT if you need a clue
just got nbt, thanks
(I bet it's the 5th row C, right?)
in fact, yes 8 - )
i usually start in (or near) the lower right corner, but whatever
LOL :-)
al pacino is in the grid
Really? I always start from the upper left & try to go through the letters"normally;" but I often get side tracked because other words pop out when I'm looking for another word.
40 to go and I'm falling asleep in my chair. nighty night nef!
Niters Gwen; sleep well!
WOW!! The Cubs won the World Series!!!! :-)
it was a great world series.. very exciting
INDEED!!!
I thought Cleveland had it at the end.. but the Cubs pulled it out
I know!!! Was on the edge of my seat! :-)
Wish my mom were still alive -- she was a huge baseball fan and was always for the underdog - she would have loved it :-)
