good morning all
{{hugs}} dear friend. how was your yesterday? were you able to recuperate a little?
*hugs rose* Good evening darling :) Ummmm no, it was a Family Constellation day. Been up and about from 8 am till 9 pm, then drove home, and found my beloved deep asleep and no food available, lol.
how have you been? Is the darn nerve calming down a little?
oh my poor sweetie. and how tired must Rob have been... just a tad on the over the edge day, methinks.
oh my poor sweetie. and how tired must Rob have been... just a tad on the over the edge day, methinks.
nope, it is being as beastly as all get out....still managed to do a sinkful of dishes and three loads of washing. himself has bought us a new desk-top computer. he has been busy setting up so both of us can use it easily.
totally. But worth it, from my part. An amazing day.
BUT.... i took TWO magnesium this morning and have made it through most of the day without cramps, which is a blessing.
oh nice, a new puter :) Ugh @ the nerve. And... just askin'... why 3 loads of laundry? You could do one and the day after another one...
that is a very good thing. Will you be having another desensitising thingie for the nerve?
i hear you honey, but i wandered out when i felt ready to do the next. would you believe it? i went to sleep with the fan on last night, and tonight i am wrapped up in my shawl with the heater on. aaaggghhh !!
anyway, it does mean i can put the drying through the dryer.
yeah, but try and spread the joy, honey... it really is better for you. Yuck, I know how it is when you can't manage an even temperature. *hugsssss* my darling. How much longer till new infusion?
booked in for denervation at the end of november. remember ?? because of the pain, even when unconscious, it triggers the FM. i am going to be having my next infusion therapy when i go to the op. theatre to have the procedure.
yes, I know how the FM reacts to your pain. Sucks big time ;)
hm, quite a long wait then still. 3 more weeks. Please, pace yourself? One task a day is plenty. Which means ONE load of laundry and not three! Or cleaning faucets and sink in the bathroom, and not the floor as well!
*giggles* you been spying on me??
no need for that, sister of my soul :D
*wry grin* yeah i know... you do the exact same thing. now.... when is Caya home again? and is the boyo still being conscientious?
Caya had to work this weekend, so she won't be coming home. Tim just had his first tests and they went well. He is being pleasant and keeping his end of the bargains.
*huge sigh* it would appear he has turned the corner. meanwhile, you and Rob are living, waiting for the other shoe to fall. it will be a while before you both can relax a little with regard to Tim's behaviour.
yes that is true. It is so wonderful that you know how we feel. But our faith in Tim is growing every day.
good for you both. and i do know how you feel. my Josh was very unpleasant to live with for about 2 years when he was 14 and 15.
it is tough, isn't it, having someone living with you whose behaviour is absolutely unacceptable, but who you can't and won't throw out. Any other person behaving like that would be out in the street right away, but not your child.
on* the street (I think)
btw, Lan, and her two kids, is being baptised tomorrow. and Aaron, her hubby, is being confirmed. we are having a newly ordained bishop to do the chore... lolll lunch after the service...
oh wow, a special day!
should be an amazing day...
will be right back, I need a cup of coffee
if it's freshly ground, make mine like my man... strong, white and sweet... loll
lol :P
back, with a latte macchiato
wb sweetheart.
now that's not something you see very often. our past prime minister, kitted fully out, fighting a bushfire. not a staged event.
thank you :) Waiting for the meds to kick in, I could really do with a little less pain, grin
good for him!
Hi and hugs
{{hugs}} and hi lizgirl
*hugs Liz* Good evening to you and your beloved. I hope your day was nice?
Lovely. Beautiful day - went for a long walk. Hope yours will be as good.
sounds perfect.
Thanks for the books. All happily in iBooks now :)
The temp here today was 2x where Rose is! 30 / 15 - when I checked my phone at 11.00.
yvw Liz :) And wow, huge difference.
Know where I'd rather be! Here!
lol :D
Bet Rose was happier with the cooler weather!
podmen not valid? Never heard of the Body Snatchers, enable???
Rose has trouble enough maintaining an ok temperature without crazy ups and downs from outside, grin
Rose - will you get to use the new 'puter- or will it always be "in use".
lol, boys and their toys, Liz...
Indeed!
now where did rose go? Chasing another squirrel?
yeah, i will, liz.
humpffff sprite.
Good!
I knew that really!
tsk, don't hmpffffff me, girlie. If you don't answer our questions, how do we know you are still with us? Hm??

What? You're having rabbit for lunch?

I don't care for it, it tasted like very gamy dark meat.
I'm wondering what "and worse" means. rubyfoo where are you?
In France, where else
Name that proper noun. Writer of Winnie The Pooh.
Milne
Ding ding ding! Bich gets what's behind Door Number 2
Rabbit
Oh wow, that would be a disappointment on Let's Make A Deal : D
Rabbit seems an odd choice for a meal to bring a senior citizen.

Just kidding around, I did follow the series. I know how Chicagoans feel, as I am a BoSox fan, and remember when they won after a many years drought.
Take care everyone, bbl to finish, gotta go do Saturday errands now.

Bye JB have a great day :)
In the scope of "weird words accepted by Babble" th5/18 scores highly.

Hi y'all
Hello, Hego.
Hey Zoom
morning
Hello, Welki.
Hwy Welks
that's hey
hwy to you, too :)
hahaha
hego, do you go down to the boardwalk in long branch at all?
Once in a while.
it's not there anymore, but do you remember the italian snack shop, camille's?
Mostly to Pier Village to eat. lol
I remember vaguely
they had good cannolis, but better than that was this guy they'd get in on saturday nights, a frank sinatra type singer - there'd be a ton of ladies there mooning, swooning while he flirted/sang. my husband and i would go out onto the boardwalk and dance to 'the summer wind'
I do remember him.
In my family Frank and Jesus were almost equal.
random memory, but it made me smile this morning
frank being superior? *lol*
Almost
the ladies were hysterical, swarming him and planting smooches on his cheek. i think that, if he had been a tom jones type, granny panties would have been flying all over the place
They had to be Italian.
must go. take care ..
bye, have a good day, hego
this bites - a huge puzzle yesterday (and i could had time for a few words), and tiny one today. too bad we can't play the old, archived ones, just for fun

thrying to think of one - ends in first vowel
change the vowel in a pronoun + first vowel
..;. can spell it as ... t+ most of a short word for colour + slang for you or yes
no definition given for it other than it is a variant spelling
... it says the wood of a sandarac tree ... anybody know what a sandarac tree is? ...
... oh well ... gotta go ... 14 for before dinner ... luck to all
Sandarac tree - an evergreen tree (Tetraclinus articulata synonym Callitris articulata) of northern Africa that has scalelike leaves and yields an automatic resin
our educational tidbit for the day
Because according to the Babble creator nerds, it's very important to be well versed in foreign currency and alias vegetation and creatures.
...and there ya go! In a nutshell, Molly. :)

LOL nef
Please blurt out words that I *don't* have , Nef
(You would think that after playing for so many years I'd know enough to look at which box I'm in, wouldn't you?
So how are you doing tonight? DH & I went for a ride today; spent 3 1/2 hours driving & exploring and enjoying the beautiful fall weather today. I wanted to see how he'd tolerate a short trip& he did okay (so far) - other than his legs were weak from sitting so long (& we did stop & do some very short walks along the way. I took him over to the St. Croix valley area; & I think that half of St. Paul had to have been in Stillwater -- it looked like tourist season was in full swing again.
hey all -- glad you got out for some fun, Nef.
Tom and I are watching the new Ghostbusters. It's good.
hi stid. How are you doing today? Feeling better?
I am better, yes.
Oh, good. You sounded so sick the other day
The new glasses aren't right, but I haven't had time this past week (getting report cards ready) to go back and complain. Maybe this coming week -- we have parent conferences, so will have to see how I feel if they finish on time...
I hope you get them fixed ASAP. If your glasses are wonky your eyes have to work hard to try to accommodate that & that can sap you of any extra energy you may have.
I think the worst of the health issues are at bay now. :-)
that's good. :-)
How are you doing personally? Enjoying the autumn so far?
Sorry, stid; I wandered off for a bit there. I'm doing okay. This has been a very wet year here; so weather changes are a pain; but doing okay otherwise. The autumn colors here have been breathtakingly pretty this year!
Boy! I'm at 32 words left & can't see anymore words. I was trying to go listless, but can't tonight. :-/
no worries, I am at 35 words! LOL
not going to make it listless...
I agree. I felt like I was doing okay; but kind of hit the wall now
Oh, that was a FUN movie! Have decided that If anything happens to my Tom, Chris Hemsworth might be a reasonable alternative.... ;-)
LOL! That's funny, stid! :-D
okay, down to 33 -- list helps!
that ti 6/21 is invisible to me.
yep, me too -- working backward and it has me stumped. Also the ta 6
ta6 is needed to make hummus, stid
ti 6/21 - neater, more organized?
hummus? or humus?
humus
that's the first ti 6/21, thanks rbud -- do you have the second?
ooh, ty for the ta6
looking for the ta 6... "manure"-like word, methinks...
bud, there are 2 ti 6/21; the 2nd ! is harder to find
oh -- hummus -- got it! LOL
It's a food product from the Middle East i think?
(Sorry, stid, I wasn't thinking about spelling)
the ta 6 is similar to hummus, but made from sesame seeds, while hummus is made from garbanzo beans and garlic and lemon juice. But they both can be used as lovely dip. :-)
Phantom: timid; not sure why, but I think I've typed it 3 times!
okay, thought I could monkey the th 5/18 but no. any help?
We use ta6 in our hummus, stid. That's how my Iranian friends make it.
oh! LOL
th5/18 = Fifth day of the week + short affirmative
strange how different things can be, and how similar....
ah, found ti 6/21 - ti4 (fork part) + Freud's two letter word for part of the mind (along with ego, etc)
oh gee, thanks for the babblet, rbud!
(Ta 6; garbanzo beans, garlic, lemon juice & olive oil.
thanks rbud
down to 17 -- how are you getting along nef
19 left; but I'm being distracted
go nef go!
You can do it, stid! :-)
oooh. got the 8!
Good for you stid! (I found it earlier)
down to 5... but stalling out.

I need a break; my eyes are so dry tonightI I suppose it's from being out in the country today.

I'll trade you any clue for the one I need to get FW . mi 6/27

Yay!! Thanks!! I never get FW :)
YAY woodchick!
YAY, woodchuck!!! WTG!!!
Thanks! :)
Sorry, woodchick; didn't mean to call you a name!
Ha! Occupational hazzard :)

Was that your last word, stid? what are the stats?

einy, me5/16, miny mo
DUH!!! Thank you stid.

anything else?
I have 5 left, stid. But don't wait for me as I'm cooling off my eyes (drops & a cool wet cloth)
sorry wandered off but I am here (ish) while watching Tar Trek "Generations" movie. It is so nice to have a chance to just sit back and be NOT focused on school!
LOL! I'm done, said; just checked to see if you were still around (so I could let you know I got FW also)
LOL YAY Nef!
have a lovely rest of your weekend. :-) *poof*
Good Night stid. I hope you can have another day without thinking about school ! :-)
