We got him a blood pressure monitor but it keeps giving different readings.

He normally has high blood pressure and takes tablets for it. We suggested to take one less and see if that helps.

Not that i am aware of, Rose... He normally takes it sitting down.
But he will not just take one reading he will take about four in a row and they are all different and then says these things are crap.
okay. if you take it while he has been sitting for 10 minutes( that allows it to stabilise) then get him to stand up quickly and take it again as quickly as possible,if there is a drop in the numbers it will give the doc's something to work with.

*eye roll* i know..... he must just take it the once, as the angst and sometimes pain of the cuff being blown up will give a different reading.

those machines blow up the cuff to almost unbearable pressure on your arm. and he MUST make sure the sensor is over the inside bend of his elbow.

I do not mind blowing up balloons it is the tying up of the balloons I hate.
don as usual is procrastinating. claims he can't go on with the inside work until he fixes the drainage problem. personally i don't mind the swamp in the front garden during winter, i just don't go near it... lol

I normally start taking the skin off of my finger when trying to tie them after about twelve or so. I find it so hard to do a little loop with my fingers LOL

Of course I don't mind! I was supposed to have two on Wednesday but the first was cancelled as someone had to go to hospital, apparently. The second seemed to go very well - lasted much longer than originally planned, so fingers crossed
