Liz, got the testing results back yesterday and guess what... blood sugar levels have gone down even further, and that with me no longer taking medication for them! I got permission to stop the cholesterole medication for 3 months, as a test period, to see if they stay down too.

I am rather eclectic in music taste. I love a little bit of this, a little bit of that... hardly ever a whole band or singer or genre
I tend to go through phases of listening to everything by the band du jour (for me, that is). Crosby Stills & Nash (and Young), Jethro Tull, the Who, Steeleye Span, ELP - but the vast majority of music is older than I am (or at the very least, was popular when I was too small to appreciate it)
ditto. i like what i think is the best or appeals to my taste.
I love rock 'n' roll a lot (but not everything). Otherwise, I am all over the place.
I also like Baroque classical
I love almost all classical music. Am not a real opera fan, but most instrumental music is very much to my gaste

They had a silly advert here in the UK a while back. where they had a pigmy horse being ignored in a field with normal sized horses. So the owner decides to buy from the amazon app a massive pygmy horse door for her door. I mean it looked so stupid. Any adult person could of got through that easily. She will not mind me saying as she wrote it in the chat anyway. She said that her bank had told her her account has been compromised. And I told her that I hope it was not done over the phone as there are a lot of scams at the moment with people pretendind to be from your bank and getting your details.
They even then have the cheek to actually send someone to your home to collect your card.
That was a realistic comment.
So many scams around.
I've learned not to trust, which is really very sad.
There are adverts at the moment from banks saying they would never ask for your bank details over the phone.

I wasn't worried - it's a long story but no, they didn't collect any personal details, and yes, the call really was from Barclays (I checked the number before speaking to them) - Barclays Fraud called and said the account had been compromised - thing is, it wasn't my account that had been, but rather my ex-husband's. Thanks to US tax regulation, Peri, it's difficult since FATCA getting bank accounts and investment accounts if you're a US Person as the US government have heavy penalties for both taxpayers and banks that don't report American people.
The US makes you file a tax return even if you don't owe the US government any tax and you pretty much need an accountant for that (even if you owe nothing).

I have no idea what it costs to get Indefinite Leave to Remain here - I've had mine since 1988. I think it cost me £114 (or it may have been $) to get, from the American Embassy in NY, permission to enter the country with intent to marry (after I was already married, but there you go) and I don't remember what more it cost me at the time.
It's costing me £50 to take the test tomorrow.
