i know that there are other insomnia sufferers in babbleland - if any are here now, tell me this: do you sometimes have even more trouble sleeping after a really FABULOUS day?
cure for insomnia = one glass of sherry 1/2 hour before bedtime :-)
i'm a teetotaller, but i have a combo of prescription and non-prescription pillllls
sherry is better for you than a bunch of chemicals
but alcohol is so ICKY
I see our raunchy lady is back in the grid
when i was in 4th grade they were doing that program where they tried to get kids more fluoride by going around in public schools and have everybody have a fluoride swish for 1 minute (which contained alcohol). i could NOT do it, i had to get my mom to sign a thing to exempt me.
the dentist, i could tell him i can't handle the swish and he could give me the trays with the goo instead
oh well - try chalomile tea then -- if you can stand the taste of that
i actually kinda miss the trays with the goo, but apparently once you're an adult it doesn't do any good
i DO love tea, and i have Sleepytime Extra with Valerian in it
I have a flouride treatment every 6 months
really? at mine they just do the scraping/cleaning/flossing, sometimes xrays
we had flouridated water in our city water system when I was young -- didn't have any cavities until I moved to VAncouver as an adult -- no flouride in the water there!
maybe i'll ask my dentist if i can have the goo next time i go, lol
yes all that as well -- xray and oral cancer scan 1x per year

we pay for it though -- dental is covered by our private medical plan, not medicare

in some provinces, like quebec, dental is partially covered for kids under 18
few years back i read about a case of a poor family whose kid had a cavity that went untreated bc they couldn't get dental care, cavity grows, kid gets an infection, it spreads to his brain, kid dies. dental care is health care!!!!
the ones that suffer are families whose income is just above the poverty line -- below the line get everything covered for free, including orthodontics
I would rather see money spent on free orthodontics for kids (really is preventative health care) than on supporting a bunch of idiots that didn't have the gumption to say no to drugs

and i have dealt with addicts within my field of work. i know the heart ache felt by family members. one of our senators has a son who is an addict. and she shared her sadness with all of us in australia.
there is a group called mothers against addicts. they are teaching us not to hide it, or be ashamed
lolll... i hear you.... and i told my brother he was too fat, and his wife was gob-smacked. fortunately my siblings and i can speak frank;ly to each other...although i am currently struggling with how to tell one bro his squeeze in thailand is probably a prostitute.

i have a son who has not spoken to me, texted me or emailed me for nearly 12 years. his reason ?? i forced him to attend Sunday school. he now has a daughter who is 18 months old, and i have never seen/held her.

honey, it is his (my son's) decision. as it is also your son's decision. the bible tells us we are responsible for our children until the girls are 13 and the boys are 14.after that the decisions they make are as adults in God's eyes.
