readling back on the chug, I use ADWCLEANER for malware cleaning and other detection and cleaning. It is made by Maleware bytes and it is free. I have also had major issues with chrome today. There must have been an update that is making my company wide software go nuts

Just make sure you don't have two virus cleaners installed on your computer at the same time. If you do, they will combat each other. Most windows programs have Windows Defender automatically installed.

Ryanair flights are just ridiculously cheap. It cost me €18 return from Dublin to Southampton. It would cost me more to get the bus from here to Dublin - one way! I love Ryanair!
Ha it costs around £22 to cross the channel water to get to either Portsmouth or Southhampton as a foot passenger it is around £50-£60 if you use a car!

Yes, it is very sad. Because if her voices are telling her to grope people in their privates, what else might they tell her? She needs more supervision than my 73 year old friend can (or should) provide.
She has been in treatment for years. But schizophrenia doesn't go away. She needs a different living situation. I have been going to their house every weekend and taking my friend out to dinner and a movie, to at least get her away from the craziness.
(wishing the US had a decent humane medical system and cursing the forces who prevent it)

She really needs to be in a group home where she can be monitored. She is actually a lovely woman. But she is sick. And as much as I love the daughter, who is in her 50's, she needs more supervision than my friend should provide.
schizophrenia is probably the worst nightmare a person can be born with.. that is my view. nothing is worse. absolutely nothing......no cure, and no life.
the only prayer is to pray the person takes their meds and that the meds do a bit of work so the person can function better.
Agreed mkg. I think all we really have is our minds. And to have that taken away ... I can't even imagine. I worked in mental health and, coincidentally, my son suffered from schizoaffective disorder. It is heartbreaking. The meds can help indeed!

I just read your profile and I must agree with the entertainment grandies supply. My first is Annabelle who is 2 and a half and the new little one in the photo (Rosie) 11weeks old now. I had to wait until I was 64 to get one. I don't really understand the way your voting works over there, it seems very convoluted , I guess there is a purpose behind the setup. Ours is not entirely clear to me either (lol)

LOL, sandy! It seems as thought the Republican party believes that there's tons of voter fraud going on; so they put in "Voter ID" laws which say they have to have certain photo ID's which can only be obtained in certain registration offices & between certain times.
Here the voting places have a list of everyone who lives in the area- you have to register to vote- they check on you-and they mark you off when you vote so you cant vote twice
(This has the purpose of decreasing the number of poor people who can get the photo IDs; many poor people may not have transportation & may also be working when that particular registration office is open.
I understand how that would make it hard to enforce any law that says you must vote. we have a lot of polling places and free busses for people so that is no excuse here.
sandy, that's the way we do it here in Minnesota also. Each state here has their own rules on this. I've been an election judge here; & I can honestly say that MN has a good system. People can do same day registration to vote even on voting day.

We have to register only once but it has to be about a month before the election.
we have free transportation to polling places as well, sandy -- and lots of church vans make runs to nursing homes and retirement centers to transport elder voters who need assistance

I like to see the government in office with the power to complete their election promises who ever they are. Minor parties often end up with the power because of people who are disallusioned with the government in power, voting for them

How do you in Australia vote for your politicians? We have elections every 2 years here; our House of Representatives are elected every 2 years; the President gets elected every 4 years; & the Senate has 6 year terms (so every 2 years 1/3 of the Senate has to be elected.

our federal government which includes the house of representatives (they introduce the laws and read the bills etc.) and the senate (who then vote to pass the introduced laws or bills) are both elected every three years. If someone dies in office or gets arrested or is bankrupt (lol) they then hold a bi election..

Our prime minister is the leader of the party who wins the election. If the party hates the leader (and this has happened) then the party can vote in a new leader who will become the Prime Minister - in other words we vote for the party not the prime minister

yes but we have separate governments for our states and therefore separate elections. the state governments are answerable to the federal gov
Its pretty time consuming keeping up with it all. The leader of the state government is called the Premier.
AH! SO THAT's what a Premier is! (It's a governor here).
Our premier comes on the radio every week and answers the public's questions (talk back)

It is , he is very brave to do it as he cops a lot of critisism as you would expect

I am not sure . We did have a premier in WA who did not do it but here in WA it is a popular spot on the radio

We do and they have daylight saving over there. We keep voting that out here as it is way to hot to extend the day. That sounds my perfect weather Rose
I really hate the hot weather that is one reason we moved down south as it is cooler than Perth
I hate the cold; but every time I think we should move to a warmer climate; all my husband has to say is "Bigger Bugs!!!" That stops my thoughts of moving every time
The bugs here are not big but there are poisonous spiders
And, I can always put more clothes on & stay warm. A person can't really undress enough to stay cool; even naked you still stay hot.
We killed a deadly snake here last week , it kept hanging around and with a little one running around it was not safe

You can keep your snakes too, sandy. here in Minnesota we have garter snakes (which are harmless) but I understand that just in the past 2-3 years they have found a couple of rattlesnakes in the extreme south eastern corner of the state.
