There are people who have had their icons WAY longer than you have had that one, Bich.
I want to have my us on a dog sled in Norway, but for some reason it won't completely load
I just retried it. Can you see it?
no, sorry....tried reloading the window but still the old pic...
bichon...I just logged on and I see your new Icon.
it's two people on a dog sled Smd?
yes.
One with red gloves maybe??
Yes, that's in. I had to log out and back in
I tend to use the same icon for years. But I hardly ever chat, so no one notices!!
I used to use a topiary bichon, but Molly complained that I had nothing but bichons
g'd'afternoon, all! i used to update my icon daily, but ive been playing FAAAAAAAAR to long to keep that up anymore!
I love dogs. One of my sons has a rescued Maltese/Shihtzu. Smartest dog I have ever known.
My bichon doesn't have much upstairs, but he is very cuddly
Sorry, his pup is a Bichon/Shihzu. I have a maltipoo that has average inteligence but he, too is cuddly and that is all that counts.

Judi, beautiful Spring air in your neck of the woods?
It was unseasonably warm today. Rainy this a.m., but sunny by noon time. Stuck in an office all day, so not much enjoyment. But, it beats the hell out of snow.
Got the AP8.
Hell yes, it beats the hell out of snow. I'm all for an early Spring.
clue for in5,12 please?
Appologies to the Canadians for besmerching snow.
I will never understand why people like cold, snowy weather.
Those would be the folks who can afford to go skiing and snowmobiling, etc.
nm I found it
I would appreciate clues for the In8 and the No8.
Just found the In8.
in8 is the gerund for in6,18
Blah. This grid is a stinker. I'm throwing in towel with 55 left. *POOF*

Need to spend some time investigating new floor surfaces, etc. - a lot of new products out since we built 25 years ago!
the house is 20 years old, so needs some updating -- in good shape though

I guess it's my retirement home too.. i'm going to be carried out of here :D

I hope that's the case for us too -- don't want to be a vegetable in some nursing home

Yay lil!
I can clue if needed
hi tor!
Heya!
HOw's the weather in San Diego
Does anyone need clues?
Rainy earlier, but clearing now.
tor, I still have dreams about that fabulous Viet food we had in San Diego. I had a big dish of noodles with stir fried veggies & chicken.
and I think you had pho.
I love pho!
me too, Dorens
Vietnamese food is so fresh & delicious! Lots of veggies.
Yes indeed. The noodles are abundant here. I've found some new places here that rock.
That's true.. and Pho is best thing on a really cold day!
Nice! I often take my mom to her fav place, Four Sisters, in Merrifield VA (northern Virginia). It's a Vietnamese/ Thai restaurant.
San Diego? I bet there's plenty of places that rock.
You could spend a year just hitting noodle places here.
might just try that someday. Or at least a week.
Then go after dumplings, then barbecue, then fusion, then ...
A week of different noodle restaurants... H E A V E N
Yummmmmmm dumplings
yes, and then a week of extreme diet and exercise!
Party pooper ..
LOts of walking/ hiking to do in San Diego to counteract the noodles!
Oh, ok. I'll try that.
I have some routes where I burn 2000 -3000 calories in a couple hours.
I'll have to work on building up my stamina before I do this, then.
I'm no athlete
And I'm probably less of one. I push myself to do 2 - 2.5 miles on a treadmill most days. Can do that in 35 minutes when I'm really huffing and puffing.
That's a huge calorie burn tor! I'll be in your neck of the woods in a couple of months and will hit you up for a noodle lunch
to join in a noodle lunch I mean
cr7 pls?
Absolutely! Also, I'm not a small person, which is why I burn so many calories ..
It would be my pleasure to treat you to lunch ..
And with that, the chat dies a sad lonely death ..
perhaps the next group will be inclined to chat and clue
Hi owl. cr 7 is gerund of french pancake
But I'm not inclined to clue and chat. Just popped in and saw that. Hope you're well. I'm done in and I'm out.
ty i managed to find it in the interim
yes, i only chat with certain people
got to 100, but must to bed. evening all!
sorry, tor. I had an internet crisis!
*wonders who is on TO's list of chat-ables*
:D
we all just assume we are the nice ones, ru
I hope I am on the list :D
Good Evening! I just caught up on chat; & I hope I'm on the chat-able list too! (Mainly because I always try to chat)
Hi Nef!
Hi ori; have you gotten rid of your cold yet?
Yes, thanks. All healed up. How are you?
Doing good; behaving myself (as best I can)
Why the heck are you behaving yourself? :-)
I don't care about no stinkin' lists :D
Because there isn't much else to do today!
I have too much to do right now, so am signing off. Happy babbling folks.
hi and bye ori
Bye. It is budget submission time at work and I have 5 budget requests totaling about $7 million due tomorrow at noon. Better go check my numbers :-)
good idea ori
That sounds like quite the budget! (I got summoned by my grandson to say goodnight; I'm back now)
hi nef
Hi ru. How's your day been?
today.. pretty good
other than a ton of rain
I saw white water rafters go by my house in the seasonal creek that runs behind it :D
how are you neffers?
Hanging in there, ru. DH is having surgery Thursday; but we don't know the time yet. :-?
what kind of surgery?
How wide is your creek?
about 15 feet
it's roaring today
Prostate surgery to enlarge the urethra (he does not have an enlarged prostate; they are just going to ream it out to see if that will help)
Does the creek run in the summer & fall?
ouch.. poor guy
no ..it's pretty dry in the summer.. it gets hot here
hopefully they'll play some Motown records while he's in recovery
It must be funny to see white water rafting going on when it's normally dry then!
maybe something by Urethra Franklin :D
i'm kidding about the rafting.. but the creek was moving quickly today
LOL; He's want Beach Boys, ABBA, and Iron Butterfly if he could have his choice of music!
LOL, Urethra Franklin! Good one ru! :-D (but no groan from me)
jeez.. talk about a wide selection in music
that's like he likes listening to Perry Como, Nirvana, and Celine or something
damn..
LOL! He's not *that* bad!!
The Beach Boys are actually playing here soon
march 12th
Saturday was his birthday; & I bought tickets to Ladysmith Black Mambaso (sp?) for us; & a friend went with us. He enjoyed that. Not sure if he'd tolerate a Beach Boys concert though
Ladysmith is great
I saw them once.. loved it
gotta run for now.. my new special friend is going to call to wrap up last night's conversation.
I wasn't sure he really wanted to go (which is why I had a nurse friend come along);
Okay; Good Night & good Luck! :-)
bye
bye!
