ohhh zooz is in the grid today!
lol, left, middle and right column greyed out
hellooooo dear friend. xoxox
*hugs rose* Hello my friend, how did your day go?
good thanx. lenten bible study this afternoon, but nothing else really. and your yesterday and night?
interesting. I hope you were inspired by it :) Am rather tired. But found out that once again my vit. D levels are so low they cannot really be measured. So that explains the tiredness! Back to the heavy supplement once every 3 weeks. Otherwise, all is well.
ugh on your vitamin d levels. of course with winter you wouldn't have been outside much, except for walking terra.
yeah and it seems my system has trouble producing vit.D even with lots of sun exposure. So, will order a new batch of the heavy supplement and take it once every 3 weeks. I tend to be too careful with them, grin. Always think that it is one of the vitamins you can overdose, because it doesn't dissolve in water but in fat. But I am lightyears away from an overdose.
am gonna cook the dublin coddle today!
how much cider did you use, do you remember?
well i did one and a half times the recipe. i think 1.5litre should be enough.
also, cider boils at a lower temperature, so you n eed to cook the vegs at a reasonable boil, not a simmer.
it didn't list the amount of cider, just 'cover'. Which didn't help me much, lol, in how much to buy. Thanks hun.
ah, ok!
let me know how it turns out.
will do! Did I tell you I am designing an owl sweater using fair isle knitting techniques? It is turning out so beautifully, makes me happy :)
yes you did, you clever girl. is there no end to your talents?
oh it is not hard at all. Just takes some patience and careful planning. I am using two contrasting, multicoloured yarns. It is fascinating to see how it turns out.
if I can remember, I will make some pics and show you

what a hunk. no wonder he's a keeper.
*grins* welllll tbh, I keep him because he is the sweetest man on earth. But yeah, his looks are nothing to spit at
fireflies. Not too bad a grid. Even the biggies were pretty obvious.

thanks hun. I am off to the grocery store. Have a lovely evening and a peaceful night, and *hugs* to you both.

out for now be back later on :) have a good day folks
going ok, MLF. 2 not-entirely-hellish nights of sleep from the little guy, so perhaps we have finally turned a corner there...
My daughter slept 12 straight from the first time we aadopted her at 8 weeks. It took my son 5 months
whats frustrating is that he WAS sleeping really well, up through 4 months, when he got sick the first time. sometimes all night, otherwise, only waking once. but then he got sick, then sleep regression, then sick again and cutting teeth. for the past several weeks, hes been up just about every hour all night long. but the past 2 nights havent been so bad, so maybe hes FINALLY coming out of it! ::fingers crossed::
Think ahead 15 years and you won't be able to get him out of the sack. What I did with my son was to divide the nights with Mr. Bich
re 6/24, second one, pls
if hes up + down all night long, i generally take the first half of the night + my hubby takes the second half so i can get some rest before the alarm goes off (which is very early for me!)
I rubbed my eyes so much those first few months. We put him in a wind up swing and wed doze until it ran down
Mine didn't sleep through the night until he was three years old... In his twos, it was not surprising to find him at 3am on the couch, under a blanket, watching infomercials (or whatever was on at that time of the day), lol. Sometimes he'd even climbed up on the counter and grabbed a banana or chips for a snack...
oy vey

hello MissO
hows it going buggy?
I just came back to Babble hoping to find enough words to finish. Rainy day here
thunder and lightening, very very frightening here too with flashflooding/ rain and humidity of about 90%... i like it all except the huidity... give me cold and snow please
im 11 to go and banging my head against the keys
azome
oops
this is a very frustrating grid for sure
Hi Bugs and all!
you were only 1 letter off with that one MissO
hey origami. always good to see you.
looking for the 5,22 a/z :/ it escapes my brain!
her ori!
Nice to see you too. How are you doing?
Hi Miss.
I watched a show the other night about how NASA uses origami experts to design things that will be compact to shoot into space and then unfold into the most exquisite things.
fold pfft, just use a numatic press ;) :P
I saw that also. Very interesting. Appealed to the math and origami geek in me :D
although, sound really cool. so long as the dot mind things in the shape of cranes i culd so help.
toilet paper cranes, potato cranes, toothpaste cranes...
az 5,22 has the same first 3 letters but ends in the last 2 of an involuntary movement
cleed
maybe you could find work getting paid for your folding, origami!
Maybe ... I do fold beautiful paper boxes that I could sell at craft fairs. I do other things that folks might like, but not enough to buy :D
hmm thanks buggy, i witll try and suss that clue out... brain is having a derp
My mother had dementia and I found the neatest birthday card that looked like a card but when you opened it flat it popped up in the form of a birthday cake with little candles on it and everything. She loved it. She would open it, have a surprise and and then it would eventually close while she was still holding it. She would notice it in her hand, open it and have the same delight all over again.
thats gorgeous
cais
That's wonderful Bugs. I wish I could make pop-up cards and books because they really appeal to me. I can't cut accurately enough to do them, though. Heavy sigh.
I am sure you could make some $ at Christsmas craft fairs if you saved the things you made all year.
-facepalm- i quit... can anyone stimulate a oe clue pleaw?
those cut away books look awesome too.
just put an O on the front of the E word
Maybe that could be my "retirement" job. Of course, that would be doing something I love. A big change for me :D
I did not think about having to cut the paper was another skill.
Yes, and I am not good at it. But, maybe it is an acquired skill. I could practice and see if I got better.
what if you used a tool that looks like a scalpel?
I find those easier than scissors for details
Yes, those are helpful. You have inspired me to try again with the cutting. Practice time scheduled for next weekend :D
not trying to make your life more difficult, just more fun
Indeed - that would be fun.
I am looking forward to your visit up this way one day where you can show me the kind of stuff you make. It is very calming for people who know what they are doing.
I am looking forward to it also! I will send you a small sampling soon.
