Good morning
((Ruby))
((zzoozz))
"just like old times, seeing you in the morning!!!"
How is your weather doing? We had a cold snap but starting to warm up again now.
How cold is it there?
9.6c/49F
We finally had rain these past two days, but it's really cold, too cold to plant tomatoes etc
I think it should be warming up where you are soon.
It's funny, because there were quite a few warm afternoons but it's reverted to 5C or even less in the morning.
Yes th4 is what we had
However, the garden is lovely and will get better and better. If not for that, one would think it was Nov!
Thankfully it is warming up again!
Yes what I call UK weather, Ruby lol
I've started playing Serpentine which is catastrophic! It's very hard and after more than 100 games, I've hardly improved and am puzzled by the scoring.
If you can imagine, I'm sitting in front ofthe fire, wrapped in two blankets!
tavern
inert
sorry
Oh I had been doing that about a week or so ago too, Ruby, my score is so bad it is around 500 mark. I am not keen on times. I just can not find words too well like that lol
I'll stop talking, but was so happy to see you th** I lost my place!
When I checked oh long I had been a member of serpentine I had been a member for about seven years LOL
What names do you use?
Already had those words, Ruby. I have 54 words left but I am running my bath water so will be going soon anyway.
I saw MLFan there
Nice..did not know she played that also. I have seen, Ruru play it. He is very good at it.
I'm not quick enough
Hi Ruby - I have just tried Serpentine as a guest on the medium board and am completely useless
and Zoom
Does he use the same name?
I remember seeing a babbler called, vashongin and also isle7 playing it too.
Hello, Ursh :-)
Hello ursh. I find all the words AFTER the time is up
Hahahah! Yes same here, Ruby!!
I could not find more than 5 letter words and very rarely a 6
Too much pressure but at the same time, it's seductive
Those 5 or 6 word only games I find very hard to do.
Do you understand the weird scoring?
oh no I just tried the medium puzzle which allows from 4 letters up
I did come top once and got an award with a trophy badge that popped up on the screen. But there was only two of us playing at the time lol
I think it has to do with how quickly you find the words in relaton to how many words their are in the grid, Ruby.
Now and then I find a long word, but I'd love it if it was 3 min instead of 2!
I do the medium one but my score goes up and down, seemingly arbitrarily
So if you are slow at finding them like me then you will most likely be getting scores in the minus area untill you are on such a low number that you will satrt to get scores again.
lexulous blitz gives 4 minutes which I also find stressful - not very good at that either :(
I was waay down but then got bzck up to 560, then down again. It's embarrassing and makes me feel like an idiot
No I like this 24 hours babble game. Can come in and go when I please to find words. Much better.
And yet I play.....
But I do like to have a go at serpentine now and again.
Also, this is convivial, chatting and feeling no pressure. And beeing friends with other particuipants
Okay bath water is ready and I am going to have a bit of a soak before off to parents. Have a great day/afternoon Ruby & Ursh!
convivial - nice word
What names do you two use (and ruru)?
Maybe we can find it in the dreaded serpentine hahah
Mine is zoomzzom. Ruru is..Ruru:-)
Zoomzoom*
i have not registered - just played as a guest
Ursh will be guest 487137643 lol or something like that :-)
I was already registered
yip zooz and there were a few guests so I didnt really know which was me
LOL
It's great finding another "time sink" NOT!
{{ruby}} hugs and kisses
nope, she has gone. *sad face*
((ROSIE)) are you still here??
"Two ships passing in the night"
hello...may i have a clue for the zo7 plz?
More like a 1920's suit
thank you Molly!!! sheesh looked all around that one!
Oh, 1940's
It's odd to me that it takes that, but not just the suit. Annoying. Thanks Molly!
Champ, is that you in sky diving gear?
Yes...two years ago.
Finding so many phantoms this morning.
Wow, you have more guts than I will ever have.
I was attached to that guy...and I'd done the indoor thing before, which feels exactly the same. My son and his friends went and were kind enough to invite me, so there ya go!
that's called tandem right?
Yes. Makes it easy. See you in a bit...gotta go.
Good afternoon from chilly Bavaria

I've got of those too evan
I get separation anxiety before vacations, worrying about my rabbits.
i was so mad when i saw that united airlines story about the giant rabbit. i will never fly graphite.
My boy is such a princess
No animal should be in cargo--far too stressful!

Great description, Nutty!

Grumpy Cat would hate it. He hates everything.

yes its a word game but it is timed
oh yeah, I think I've played it a couple of times
the dictionary is a little odd if I recall correctly
I am terrible at it
mool yes a lot of the words are strange
they don't appear to use any of the standard word game dictionaries
they have common words too
right
will give it another shot
the bad part is losing pts and I am not familiar with a lot of the words it will accept ie the big oens
ones
4th column n?

for which word mool?
the o word
I need the e on the same column
going to look it up now, just to satisfy my curiosity
I have two e's...missing one
one sounds like an online invitation
the other ends in two vowels, five letters long
ty mool got the en 5 letter word
nbt and nbs
cool
type of french spring water in there too :)
okay, ohia is a tree in hawaii, and lehua is the flower....it looks like a pohutukawa tree from where I grew up in New Zealand
your random fact for the day, courtesy of babble and wikipedia
hello all, clue for the zo/48 pls?
More like a zo** suit. Sadly, zo** isn't a qord!
sadly no, but if it was, the suit would be zo/48 than other suits :)
tyvm I always thought that the zo** shd be a word, as in the old days it was called a zo** suit.
Hence my clue. :)
Anyone have stats for that singleton I?

Imagines molly decorating the PB with mothers day stuff
Hi all
Hi liz
I imagine if you google the song there will be more than one rendition on you tube
Oh, did some research on the song. Something recorded in 1934. A bit before my time, musically.
I know it as walk thee way nan 😎
You mean the song by Mary Hopkins - one hit wonder? Once upon a time there was a ta 6
don't know about the once upon a time part
Oh, the colonial version of Aerosmith. Thanks Ru.
Don't know any 1934 songs!

(Covering for mkg)
It might be similar to Dudeth Looketh Liketh A Lady though
then not the same song, I guess
sorry all
any clues for that o word?
Bet you will find that o word if you look at Lickety
Thee maiden doth repeat herself
THERE IS A TAVERN IN THE TOWN Cornish Folk Song - 1883 There is a tavern in the town (in the town) and there my true love sits him down(sits him down) and drinks his wine 'mid laugh-ter free and nev-er never thinks of me. Fare thee well for I must leave thee do not let the parting grieve thee and remember that the best of friends must part, must part. A-dieu a-dieu kind friends a-dieu(say a-dieu) I can no long-er stay with you, (stay with you) I'll hang my harp on a weep-ing wil-low tree and may the world go well with thee.
Nothing like the song I know then!
Once upon a time there was a tavern Where we used to raise a glass or two Remember how we laughed away the hours And think of all the great things we would do Those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose We'd fight and never lose For we were young and sure to have our way. La la la la la la La la la la la la La la la la La la la la la la
No -- but I do know the one you posted as well
