I was looking for a t and a d forever
I took a break - making a photo book of our holiday in Tasmania. Still have 45 words left - long way to go.
did you have a devil of a time there?
Definitely - can't think of a smart answer.
they have funny sayings there.. like going to the toot
Not heard that. But they do say that Tasmanians have 2 heads (apologies to any Tasmanians :) )
there's another I know that someone is rum um
You know more about Tassie than I do!
not sure if I'm spelling it correctly though
Actually I think they use that expression in N England too.
going to head out now.. night liz
GR in the Netherlands yet?
Sleep well, Ru
Last leg of the journey - arrives in about 5 hours I think.
man.. I bet that is one helluva long flight
Sure is - they spent a day in Dubai to try to get some rest.
Dubai isn't that far though is it?
14 or so hours from here. Then about 7 to the Europe
jeez.. I couldn't handle that .. that's too much time on a plane
We prefer to hub via Singapore, when we do the journey. Shorter flights.
Just have to try to sleep - I never manage that very well.
i can't sleep on a plane at all.
i can barely handle a 5 hour flight much less 14
I take a night time cold tablet - it makes me drowsy, even if I don't fully sleep.
So how will you cope with a flight to NZ,w hen you make it?
doit
Sorry
i will fly to the Solomon Islands and rest for a couple days and then take the trip.. should cut 5-6 hours off the flight
Sounds like a good idea.
I'm going to have to go first class too.. i can't take the long flights with a bad back
Expensive but worth it if you can do it.
Expensive but worth it if you can do it.
Expensive but worth it if you can do it.
Expensive but worth it if you can do it. Hm! Text not entering, so apologies if that appears several times.
Yes i can afford it. I have a savings just for this trip
Well, worth it - but I wasn't being personal. More saying that it is worth it for anyone who can afford it.
10 left - BBL to finish.
good morning all
*smug* two whole columns greyed out*
just back from the B&B, dropped off some surprises for Rose and Don to find when they check in. We will leave for the airport in 3,5 hours to pick them up. Can't wait!
Sprite:
hiya bfdeele :)
Hoping that you all have a wonderful time together...it is fun to watch and see you and Rose find that you are truly sisters...have a great time..
thank you so much! It is great to share it with all of you. A true babble adventure.
Please post lots of pictures so we can all take part in your joy and happiness
we will, I promise. Don is an avid photographer and we will post pics online for you to see.
Must go and get some sleep. Take care....
sleep well, bfdeele
fireflies. Easypeasy, except for the th7/40. Bye all! Next time we meet, Rose and Don will be here.
Question unrelated to the board... I lost my Babble way some time ago but am returning. Is there a way to play archives? I thought there was a Babble Pro but am not finding it. Thanks for any help!
Hi Hon
I don't believe you can play the archived games. If you mean the Babble Expert, which I've never used, but many do, click on sprite's profile right below you here in chat, she has the link.
Thank you, rbud.
Hi Hon, Frobert!
you're welcome. :)
LOL I like your icon, Queenruejean! I too remember the cola bottle sweets and the candy cigarettes.
And I am in the PB :-(
Back later.
Hi, zoozzoom! When i saw that picture, I thought perfect for me. I'm kind of slow at times ... what's PB?
Hi queen not sure what pb stands for, but it's like the naughty step for when someone uses a word in chat that occurs in the puzzle.
Thanks TQ! Now I remember the penalty box!
Ah of course penalty box
Hi kids.
Hi Scrabbler! Good morning to you.
Hi Jean. How is the grid?
Not bad. Although my little brain seems to be slamming into a wall right now.
That happens. Take a break and return. Then your eyes see new words. It's amazing.
I think I will. Should probably be hitting the hay soon anyway.
I go bye bye now
Ah, the spouse has spoken. Happy Babbling all!
Spouses Babbling together--cute! Sleep well.
Very cute! Goodmorning/afternooon
II work up early and have had three "naps" since; Narcolepsy?
No, just fatigue.
It's ridiculous!
Listen to your body.
lean
sorry
I have that already.
Not much choice! But aside from that, no pain. So I guess I'll happily trade sleepiness for pain
Important question: When do you own clothes become "viintage"? I needed something cool for today and found a dress that is at least 25 years old
If it is comfortable and in good condition then wear it.
Vintage is something to be proud of.
I have a Comme des Garçons dress, that I bought in Japan in about 1981 that is stil l lovely and in style, before the label was well-known.
I know nothing about brand names except Lands' End and LL Bean, haha.
That's what I wear now + H&M LOL
Isn't co5/16 a type of rabbit?
I am not sure I have the same co5/16.
I googledi it (lazy me) it refers to the fur, especially European
I have to get ready for work. Enjoy the day.
Bye scrabs

Hello, I'm back for anothergo. <78 words, nbt and nbs earlier
hi ruby
hello phaeton. The achillea I planted just started to flower and they're a deep pink
The buds looked white and I was dismayed...
sorry to hear that ruby
No, they're beautiful
all flowers are beautiful no matter the color :-)
hello all
I ordered them inline and they arrived in 2 days along with about 70 freesia pips (tiny bulbs)
Hello MLF
send a complaint to the company...you may get a refund or a coupon for your next order.
hi mlf
hi ruby
stats for 2nd column e?
No, I wanted them pink as my garden has very little white except for eglantine and queen Anne's lace, which planted themselves.
I couldn't be happier!
And there are many roses, ranging fromlight pink, to dark pink, to purple, salmon and dark red
sounds like a large garden
This is the best month
<----does not like this grid
It's like an English garden via Martha Stewart. It was all theoretical as it's my first garden
after I listed it went a lot faster...down to 8
MLF: but it's less stressful than serpentine!
I haven't listed....yet
lol ruby not unless you try to finish a grid on babble daily and pretty much fail at it. Serpentine, I haven't learned what it takes and what it doesn't yet
Many of the thigfs planted in the first couple of years disappeared (lupines, foxgloves, hollyhocks, globe thistles); perennials are not always perennials
2nd column e?
I'm not quick enough for serpentije and make too many typos
en4/4 ad en5/10
one is chemical, the other for school
done...there are several ones that are sticklers.
ruby I make typos all the time
But your rating is much higher than mine
ruby that changes everytime I play it
nbt
Is it better to make many small wors or better to go more slowly and look for the longr words?
Ad6?
ad 6 is a medical term for a univalent radical. ad vowel plus women used to wear ***on stockings

Nice one, Hurshy!
Unassisted is the most fun. Getting clued for all the difficult words takes some of the challenge out of the game.
still don't see that th 7/40 - any clues please?

Oops oops
I am very tired from moving stuff and cleaning all day. Glad to be lying down with my toddler and getting a break.
hi allyall
Hi origami
Hey ori
You owe me an email🙂
hi ru
I just sent one :-)
Oh great. I am pyschic
Are you feeling better yet?
I am better. I need to go to work at least a while tomorrow. If nothing else I have got to get out of this house!
Thanks.
Good. Are the antibiotics working?
The doc said it was viral pneumonia, so antibiotics wouldn't do any good. Good cough meds and an antiviral seem to have helped.
Oh
I whacked mine with antibiotics. I had pleuresy though too
ugh, pleurisy! You must have been sick as a dog.
Sicker
Almost killed me. I had raging temperatures
I can't imagine having both illnesses at the same time.
I am heading back to my couch for a while. Happy babbling.
Bye
Take care ori
Baby was asleep and then woke up. Break is over.
Good luck all
