Appliance repairman just left after "fixing" my fridge. The noise was coming from the ice maker which had accidentally been switched on, probably when I packed things into the freezer.
So, there really wasn't a problem with your fridge?
No, haha. And the noise from my clothes washer was undetermined. He said to leave things alone because the machine is 33 years old and works fine.
Well, there was money well spent. Pffth.
$75 total.
Appliances, cars, teeth, computer, body..when things go wrong it is bad and expensive.
Easiest job that guy will have all day. Perhaps it's time ti invest in a new washer, though.
It's working fine and squeaks during spin-down only, so I am keeping it.
