Sleep well, Flosey
Half way; thanks for the clues. And now good night. :-)
(Oh, and Good Luck, too!)
Sleep well, Nef

i'd say it's an average grid, so far, but i only started a few mins ago
i only have 16
i have 15 left
liz says the 8 is id8? hmmmmmmmmmmm
that endings thing helped! thanks liz!
and list polishes off the last 12!
2 minute warning call for clue requests
is the 8 a familiar word?
not familiar to me and it is not in my Oxford dictionary
k
fw and off to bed, last word yo5/16 sure looks like very bad grammar to me
also not in my Oxford!!
l'm never here this early. Dogs made me get up
46 words and now what?
Bye
good morning all
wow, tight little grid
{{sprite}} hugsssss. how did last thursday go? are you okay now ? xoxox
gosh rose, I missed you. *hugsssss* I am okay. Not great, but okay. Dentist went very well. I didn't take tranquillizers and managed all through the appointment. Not sleeping much due to the party stress, but otherwise I am fine. How have you been?
squirrel?
flat out like a lizard drinking water. i am sooo busy. last thursday out with jun, came home made soup for luncheon on friday. friday community luncheon. saturday morning church stall outside local market, fund raising, last night big birthday bash for twin brothers who turned 50 on friday. today church. tomorrow 1 hours drive to niece's school by 9:30. come home about 12 midday then out for x-rays ans ultrasounds for both of us, tuesday weekly shopping, wednesday big funeral at church for one of our darling old gents at church, thursday out with june, and, and, and
next question??
wow sweetie... that is a LOT. How are you managing your downtime?
*giggles* see below...
lolll. who has time to be sick, sore or depressed....??
welllllll we both know that is not how it works... :D
oh, and i used a wheelie walker the other day. had it low enough so i could lean on it. went through 2 big charity shops and a supermarket... no pain in either hip, knee or lower back.
urnest - most sincerely jarred
that is amazing, rose. I am so glad! That way, you can keep up the muscle tone you gained in your grand tour.
love it !!! put it in... lolll
okay, added :)
*sigh* but i am so contented, knowing how much i have improved, still sleeping well, most mornings don has to waken me. usually i try to be resting, with feet up by about 4pm at the latest.
sounds good, my dear friend. It is wonderful to see how happy you are with the improvements. And the resting should be adequate this way. Gooooo girrrrrl!
*grin* luvs ya. one day it will be your turn to be able to feel good again.
lol, I am not complaining. All I need to be feeling real good again is for sep 10 to be past. Well, that, and some minor things like enough money to be able to sell the house, starting to live on a very small scale, overcoming the eating disorder and beating some sense into my beloved.
uh oh.... what has he been up to now?
he kept on adding to the list of things to do on the dentist day, after about a week (for me) of hardly any sleep, and then getting mad when I wasn't immediately overjoyed to do it all. Silly man.
*giggling* now i wonder why he couldn't come to the same logical conclusion ??
I was pretty mad. Drove him to the store where he wanted to buy something he has misplaced and cannot find back... then to the canoe club and dropped him off there, hardly speaking. Ugh. Such an unproductive way of handling it, but I was pissed and dead tired and stressed out. Not a good combination :D And you know guys... he has been texting me ever since with nice and fun stuff, never even touching the fight.
awww poor you. and prolly with an achy mouth too.
very much so. It is very nice to be home alone for a bit, tbh. Resting up, doing my thing in my rhythm. Tim comes and goes, but he is low maintenance nowadays and he is so very nice :) Hugs and kisses all spontaneously.
how is Don atm?
don is well although his short term memory is becoming more of a problem. i am not sure how much is real and how much is an excuse for not doing something.
probably very real, hun. It probably frustrates him as much as it does you.
sometimes he simply cannot find the word he wants to say. he then gives me hints or clues to the word. as you say frustrating for us both.
all part of growing older, I am afraid. My beloved has the same thing going on. And I have had that word thing for ages, ever since starting on one of my meds. We usually try and laugh about it.
I do understand your frustration though! It is tough, having to slow down and make time for silly stuff like that. Especially when your brain is still firing full speed.
now i didn't say that, honey. i also have times when i stuff things up.
of course you do, grin. Doesn't mean the brain isn't still sharp as a tack. Just means the pathways of getting the brilliant stuff out are a bit messed up ;)
fireflies. Tough little grid, fun to play.
WTG SPRITE !!!
*hugs* and lots of love, honey, for both of you. Have a peaceful night and a blessed day... take care of you :)
hope you have a good day chilling out sweetie. hugs and kisses to you both.

well duh. I was making it way too hard
... did the same myself
how do you get 18 out of that?
3 on the f ... two on the c
... actually it's four on the f ...
maybe I don't understand how it is counted. I see 4 on the f, 2 on the c, and the others have 1=9?
... ah ... four letter words count one ... five count two ... six count three ... and so on
aha, didn't know that
If you look in the HELP section, it explains how points are counted
and done ... may I offer a clue for anyone? ...

Good morning, all. Has anyone seen my debit card? 'Cause I can't find the damn thing.
sorry, I have no debit card.
it's on the coffee table
Nope. No unauthorized activity, so I think I left it somewhere.
In the pocket of something?
Have checked all pockets and dumped out the purse.
Where do you put it when you don't put it back in your wallet? (Which is where you should always put it)
Desk drawer? Car compartment?
Always slide it into the same spot in the wallet.
Have to go look on the floors of the car.
And under the car seats.
Yes. I'll give the car a good going over.
There is a chance that you forgot to pull it out of the last place you used it, and some nice person turned it in. I would check that too.
Well, it's a chip card, so the transaction usually won't work until you remove the card.
When I can't find mine, it's usually somewhere else in my purse or wallet.
But I'm old and absentminded.
You are making this mystery very hard to solve Judi. Not in pockets, not in purse, not in car, not left at store. Unless you dropped it somewhere, I have no clue.
Query the kids. That's where my card usually wanders off to.
It's possible I dropped it. I'm usually pretty tight-fisted with it though.
No kids to query, Katy. Had hubby check his wallet. No dice there.
It's the thing I most hate to misplace.
15 words left. I'm off to turn the car upside down and shake it out. We'll see how that goes. Later, kids!
And try removing and replacing every card in wallet, in case it got jammed behind another card and is hiding.
Good one!!
Sometimes I tuck mine behind the garage door opener on my car's visor if I can't immediately reach my purse. And then flip the visor up and presto, don't see the card.
Finally, my pharmacy (drive through service) puts loose change, ID, credit card into the stapled paper bag that holds the prescription. Have to remember to get it out immediately so that it does not get forgotten and go into recycling bin.
call me silly.. but I keep my debit card in my wallet
That is a really bad policy. The prescriptions should be in the bag. Your card should be loose so you notice it.
That's where we started
And Hi Ru.
however somedays trying to find my wallet can be a challenge
I agree. But then lots of people would leave the loose card in the sliding tray (drive through service).
:)
True Katy
The only time my debit card doesn't go right back in my wallet is when I am pumping gas. Then it might go in a pocket, but I am pretty meticulous about putting it back in my wallet after that.
I don't use my debit card for anything except an atm
I use mine constantly.
I use mine like cash. I don't run up credit card balances.
I pay my credit card balances so that's not an issue for me
I use mine as cash also.
That too, Ru.
I never see my money.
At the fairgrounds, since a card could fall out of a pocket, I have know people (ahem) to tuck cash or a card into their bra. Blush.
:)
ectose
oops
you can't buy cocktails with breast money
or tats for that matter
Have you ever tried?
Who sez?
you can't tipple with nipples
LOL
and you can't have tit for tat
Should have see that coming.
(that one took a while to set up)
seen
*Wonders where guys tuck their cards in lieu of a pocket
Don't ask...
Ru, that Canadian flag still freaks me out every time I see it.
why is that?
it isn't like a coffee cup with explicit language
True. Or like a naked man in front of an elephant.
or a guy on a beach baring his sole :D
*chaching*
True again. We will leave the tasteless, white trash like icon stuff to others.
Card found! In back pocked of jeans in the laundry basket! **** huge sigh of relief *****
WOW!!!
Amazing that you looked there.
taking your card for a spin judi?
Oy. Was wearing those pants when I pumped gas the other day.
So glad you found it.
world order has restored itself
I feel gypped. You said you checked all pockets.
it was your comment that you only pump when you debit molly :D
All the pockets that weren't in the laundry.
Um, not all pockets. Why would you check pockets of clean clothes that you had not worn yet?
You don't find stuff by looking, you find stuff by thinking. Now where was I when I last saw that.
judi needs one of those locator chips on her card
I had worn them - just hung them up again yesterday. I throw them in a pile on the other bed until I get around to re-hanging them.
Oh sorry, my mistake. Once I wear something, it goes in the laundry hamper.
my washer broke down and it won't be until Wednesday before I can get a repair guy out
Work pants mostly. They really don't get dirty by sitting in an office all day.
I wear jeans more that once.
me too
I'll press and re-hang them on the weekends.
Wow! Judi irons!
Well, I steam. I gave up ironing a few years ago.
:)
Hey, lookey there. Fireworks.!
Steamers are awesome.
congrats Judi!
Although, I think it takes about the same amount of time to steam a pair of pants.
As opposed to ironing them, that is.
When I used to travel for business, I always paked a steamer.
Uh oh. Ruru is going to have to rock the grunge look until his washer is fixed.
Packed
depends on how one is pressed for time
grooooan.
I bet Judi feels depleated afterwards
Good one!!
<---ru has lots of clothes
but the wash stopped mid-wash and i'll probably have to toss those clothes
:-)) Off I go to put my card back in my wallet.
Always happens.
good idea Judi
yes please judi
Bye all

RoundBarn - thanks for sharing the Cuddledown poem and big thanks to Welki for providing a translation. This poem tugs at a mother's heartstrings.
