We have a storm passing by called Caroline. so it is rather wet & windy at the moment. But it should pass by rather quickly. Mild at the moment so around 12.7c at the moment but a cold front is moving dow and we are in for a very cold spell so I am told.

I got a nice early Christmas present. An easy chair the lifts to help me get up easier. I have had to chase the cats away a couple of times because they tried to claw it.

It takes up a bit of space, I moved my coffee table (well, actually a trunk I used as a coffee table) to the bedroom. It also cuts off the couch a little but I don't have many visitors anyway.
She is wonderful! sees to all of my needs and always has a smile
It is definitely the biggest thing in the room.
I have to get out and pick up a few things, one for my cleaning lady. She is easy, she likes chocolate.
Also the superintendants here. They helped me unpack the chair and set it up for me.

Hi! I just told my visiting sister that no one is here.

What is Baby K doing?
he is home with grandma today. poor kiddo got sent home from daycare yesterday with a fever of 102. :(
he has had a string of small issues lately, that i think must have one underlying cause - im hoping this fever kills it off for good.
Fever is our friend, killing off germs.
yeah, thursday night he randomly projectile vomited a few times. wasnt acting sick before that, had no fever. so we kept him home friday, just in case, but he seemed fine...
Kids are just too good at sharing germs, and the younger kids need to build immunity.
saturday morning he was fine, but coming up from his afternoon nap, his eyes were puffy + watery. as the day wore on, they were swollen with discharge. i was thinking it was the onset of pinkeye, but the doc on the phone had us give him benadryl + allergy eye drops first...
sunday, he was a little better, but not all the way so, so we took him in. the practitioner was iffy - it may or may not be pinkeye, so she gave him the drops anyway. still no fever or anything. so we kept him home on monday...
he seemed fine, so he went to day care on tuesday + was fine. he was fine wednesday morning, but then they noticed he wasnt his usual self...he was quiet + lethargic, so they monitored his temp until they finally called me.
im guessing there is some sort of virus/illness going around + all these things are linked, so im hoping this fever kills it dead.
See how he does the next 1-3 days.
thats my plan. hes a pretty tough kid + doesnt tend to show when hes not feeling well...so to see him literally just lying there, not a peep - it broke mommys heart. <3
Did he perk up after some ibuprofen?
we did motrin first + yes, he did perk up. ate a little dinner + wanted to play just a little before bed. we couldnt give him any more motrin (timing of doses) so we gave him some tylenol before bed.

i can swim. there's a local pool which is warmed where they have water-robic clases. i think i'll look into it.
that's low impact on the body and you can build up your heart by swimming.. it's good for you. I've been swimming most of the year
the last few months. i have heart failure when the heart rests between beats. trust me to be different.
I'm fortunate my heart is in good shape from all those years of intense tennis
