We had about 10cm and it's still snowing.
Well over a foot from the weekend storm, more since yesterday, and much more coming today and tomorrow. The ski resort across the valley is opening on Fri.
I guess it's good for the skiiers.
I already snowshoed on Fri and Sun. It was great!

Sue - are you sure you're bipolar? My husband was misdiagnosed years ago and the meds he tried didn't work and made him blah.. he's started Lexapro (anti-anxiety drug) and it has changed his (and my) world..

i was on lexapro i think. They changed my meds 5X in 2 months. I have no idea what i was on. I got off all meds 4 weeks ago to see if I can tell what is going on
not lexapro.. at least not for him... I think it can happen but diff effects on diff folks..
but the last diag was bipolar or Borderline personality disorder

oh geez.. I feel for you. We are so lucky to have one work so well. He was anti any drugs for the longest because of the side effects of Topimax.. and then he gave this one a chance.
i just know that sex was an issue. and looking at the generic name, escitalopram, i was on it

hello friends. just wanted to mention that if any of you are trying to figure out what to do with old photographs and weird objects that your parents had, try approaching museums or archives. I just did that with some old photographs of Yokohama before it was destroyed and they took everything!

Fellow Babblers: It seems to me that in any given puzzle approximately 50 % of the words can be identified by an intelligent well read person. However, the rest seem to be made up of archaic Scottish words, foreign words like piso which are acceptable, and very few commonly used words from the past decade. Not sure what the point of this is? Any sane feedback is appreciated
short answer: the game has an old dictionary inside it, and all dictionaries have their flaws and biases.
