Hub's doc says he could do surgery to fix, but it is not often successful with Parkinson's...we're in limbo at the moment. Not knowing what to do or what may happen is really frightening

Thanks. We go back to that doc Mon, then the pcp Tues, and then...we were supposed to be taking off for the holidays. I have to get the dog groomed and my car serviced, and I don't want hubs driving, so, yeah...too much on my plate. We'll figure it out, there are ways to handle, none particularly fun, but all workable.

yes....i have played in the group since 2003...
I never heard of anyone doing that.
there are groups all round the country....often with people who played another instrument in the past and learned the recorder at a later age.... I play an alto and a sopranino (smaller than a soprano)...
And I never knew that recorders come in different sizes. I have no musical ability. After trying to play the flute for 8 weeks in 4th grade the teacher told my parents that I needed to stop. My sisters played piano, violin, drums trumpet, etc. The tried to teach me to read music and play notes but I don't get it.
it's not for everyone.... ;o) ....i played the guitar and a little banjo and harmonica as a kid....took guitar lessons for a few years....
I am in awe of anyone that can play an instrument. My brain cannot do it.
i think it has to do with how our brains are wired...
My strength = visual-spatial.
i like both sides of my brain...i like to draw, for example, and i like to play music and do word games...
My hobby is art.
i like to draw....i would like to take a watercolor class...
I do multimedia nature art with sticks, stones, acorn caps, pine cones, etc. It is difficult to explain.
i understand....i also like photography, but haven't really spent much time doing it lately...
I create images (with those items) on wooden boards and I make mini-houses too.
I got a nice camera last year and enjoy taking photos of nature.
i saw a collection of mini houses at a Maker Faire a few years ago....
back to try and get my last 25
