*hugs flosey* A very good evening to you, dear lady. Did you have a nice day today?
phantoms: crucified/-fies
a quiet day Sprite, pleasant
Hi all. Not been here for a long time - thought I'd pop in and see what's happening :-D
good to hear. I just had a long shower in our very own bathroom. What a luxury after two months of bathroom repairs!
hi there Denny, welcome back
wb Denny
{{sprite}} hugs and kisses sweetie. g'day flosey. sitting here in front of the A/C AND a fan.
*hugs rose* Good girl. Too hot for action there. I sent off your package yesterday! Am excited as a little girl, lol.
*giggle* and i did a little more shopping from the comfort of my armchair....see?? didn't go out, hence obeying your command
:D that's the ticket. I do most of my shopping the same way.
aaarrgghhh, don has just black dubbined his leather jacket..... ON OUR BED !!!
oh good grief! Where has the man hidden his common sense??
ohhhhhhhhhhh, naughty!!!
well he was sitting down at the time so his brain may have been a tad squished... loll
*sigh* remember the tax return form, rose, remember the tax return form
my love and I are in a fight :(
oh dear sprite, and you have been doing so well.
yeah. Stupid guy :( He couldn't walk from the pain in his knees. I said it was not smart to go kneel down in the bathroom with those knees. Things went downhill from there.
*palm to forehead* oh dear, i am keeping well out of this one.
Oh, I'm sorry Sprite. They can take offense so easily if we don't say what they want to hear.
so very true :( He got angry and said the bathroom had to be finished, and he also had to finish a canoe before our canoeing trip next month. I said he wouldn't be doing a lot of canoeing if he didn't mind those poor knees. At that point he realised I was right, turned his back on me and went upstairs. *sigh* I am pissed as hell!
*hugs Kam* How are you and your beloved doing today?
*Hugs* back! We're sore and tired from yard work, and tomorrow is another trip for more "testing." This is getting tiresome, but the sooner he gets an ok for surgery, the better for our future.
well done, both of you! I will think of you tomorrow. This round of testing is with meds, right? At least there is that?
Yes! With meds, and he's pretty good tonight, who knows what tomorrow holds - he has a MRI after the testing. He says MRIs don't bother him, which is good - I'd be a mess, I get so claustrophobic! I finally learned that if I just don't open my eyes, I'm fine, but I still hate them.
I hope your canoe gets finished! Can't go canoeing on a log too well...
I hear ya! Can't stand the darn things myself either. The combination of being locked in and those horrible loud sounds, it is a nightmare.
well, if my dear husband cannot walk from the pain in his knees, we will not even start out on the canoe trip. The problem is not that the stuff does NOT have to be finished, it does. But how he seems to think he is the only person on this planet who can possible do it. Not even allowing Tim and me to help think things through. The idiot.
(rant over now)
*peeks around PB door* is it safe to come out now?
feels good eh Sprite
tsk. Running off one of the very few times I am miffed :P
Fireflies! Hang in Sprite - I've had days like yours...just a couple of days ago. It's my tone of voice when I'm annoyed that gets me in trouble, oh boy! He got so mad at me over something stupid, but came and apologized 10 minutes later. That's about how long our tiffs last, fortunately.
sure does, flosey :D
Miffed at a tiff, eh? haha
i was watching, truly i was.
lol yes Kam
WTG KAM!!!
Not laughing at you, just being silly
wtg Kam!!!!!!!!!
sprite did i ever send you a jar of Painaway cream? for joint pain? it's all natural.
hey, laughing is good. Well, usually our tiffs are short too. But not this one. I got so mad at his attitude, I stopped speaking to him, mostly.
no, have never heard of it, rose. Is it any good?
I have to go to bed now. Early, long day tomorrow. Have a lovely day if it's morning, and for Flosey, I hope you sleep well. Hugs for Sprite to get over the miff, at least the rant felt good!
sleep well, Kam, and best of luck for tomorrow. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you <3
it's fantastic.i used it on my poor knee before the first bout of surgery.kept me going.
sweet dreams kam
thanks Kam - and you too, sweet dreams

It has a doubel consonant in it.

oops sorry
moolingwa, my beloved's name is Jude, and sometimes when I'm looking for him in a store or whereever, I'll call out, "Hey Jude!"
jude is a lovely name
I think so :). Sometimes people mistake the name for a girl; one time I mentioned my 'beloved', and the person asked carefully, "What's your beloved's name?" After I told her, she nodded and reassured me that she thought it was wonderful that same-sex couples could get legally married now. !
We had a good laugh about it when I got home. So did one of my friends who is married to her wife. I need to grab some breakfast. bbl.
Wow. 11:00 already. I must have been busy doing work.

DE6/30 : fever caused by mosquito bite.

We couldn't use "wank" yesterday, but today we have Sq9. Geesh.

global warming is going to play havoc with these diseases and the spread
true. i hope we find cures soon
sorry, ge 5/14, pls
ge 5/14 + style (as in music for exampe) with a different last vowel
ty nan
I don't think global warming is going to cause our temperatures to rise so much as more extremes in our weather patterns and the rising of sea levels as the polar ice caps melt
we are already seeing the extremes with droughts, floods and super storms
i agree nan- going to make changes in temp enough tho to change how and where food is grown. at least that is what the best models out there today show. frightening stuff
any walls we build should be dykes around our coastal cities!
amen to that cyber
i wish we could do a national referendum on that stupid wall with how much it would cost per tax payer
would be nice Shirl. a physical wall just makes no sense. but nothing does at the moment. november and a chance to reclaim some sanity can't come soon enough for me
at any rate- i am off to the store- bb to finish later- have a good one all
too bad you don't have a "non-confidencd vote" in your governmental system
couldn't someone just use a ladder

That would have to come a Republican led legislature
I had to google that fever clue. Thanks for the clue! lol

sc 5/12, pls
I have a sc+ ***ds grow along the edge of a pond
tyvm mael
se 5/16, first one, pls
The US does not have federal no-confidence votes because it does not have a parliamentary democracy and does not have a prime minister. It is a representative republic with an electoral college to elect its president. The president can be removed via the impeachment and conviction process, voluntary resignation, or forced resignation under the 25th amendment. The government and constitution can be changed thru the amendment process or by a constitutional convention. These processes are slow on purpose so that changes are carefully considered instead of reactionary changes.
Excellent synopsis Knight!
So far after reading the Constitution countless time, I have not found anyplace where whining and wishing are effective ways of changing the government.
how i wish trump would read it over and over again......
hi all.
